GENSHIN HCS | COOKING A TRADITIONAL DISH FROM THEIR S/O COUNTRY

characters: diluc, thoma, ayato, ayaka, kaeya, scaramouche and jean x gn!reader

diluc

Diluc had always noticed the way your face lit up when you ate a dish from your country. So one day, he decided to make it for you as a surprise.

He doesn’t cook often, because he lets his maids do the work, but this time he wanted to do it for himself, so that it could be more special. He found the recipe to the meal, and it was confusing to him at first, but he got the hang of it.

When he was finished, he woke you up, and told you he had a surprise for you. When you walked down to the kitchen, you saw a familiar dish waiting on the table. When you tasted it, it was amazing. You were surprised he made it exactly as you did, especially on the first try.

After the meal, you hugged him and thanked him, in which he became really flustered. “D-don’t mention it, anything for you.”

thoma

As Thoma is the housekeeper of the Kamisato clan, he should know how to cook really well. That’s not exactly the case when it comes to foreign dishes.

He really tried to make a traditional dish from your country, but he became confused while reading the recipe. So the only person he could ask for help, was you. You explained to him step to step how he should make it, and in the end he understood it. “What would I do without you?” He said, which made your heart skip a beat

It tasted a little bit different to what you were used to, because Thoma had messed it up a little at the beginning, but later on he became a master on how to make this dish. Even making it for the Kamisato siblings in the future.

ayato

Ayato was a really busy man. Being the head of the Kamisato clan, and the Yashiro commission was not easy and he had a lot of work everyday. Except for this one day.

It was your anniversary today, and so he decided to do something special for you. He had a full day planned for the both of you, but to start of the day, for breakfast, he decided to make a traditional dish from your country.

Not gonna lie, he failed miserably, almost burning the kitchen down. He is not the best at cooking, because he always has someone to do it for him. So after he was done, and made you taste it. It was definitely not the best. You were completely honest with him, but you really appreciated the effort he made into making that.

Some other time, you cooked the dish together, and he finally made it somewhat edible. “I am glad I didn’t burn the kitchen down this time.”

ayaka

Ayaka would see that you were really overworked and stressed this one day, so she decided that she would make something for you to cheer you up, why not just make a traditional dish from your country? Just as her brother, she’s not the best cook. She has everyone doing it for her.

She tries anyway, which didn’t go so well. You smelled something burning from the kitchen, then you realized it was Ayaka making something, which made you really surprised.

She handed you a plate, and you noticed it was a familiar dish. You smiled, and took a bite, it was really salty. She saw your expression, and began to apologize. You calmed her down, and said it wasn’t a big deal.

“I just wanted to make something to cheer you up.” She said, blushing a bit. You just smiled, and told her she didn’t have to, but she obliged anyway. In the end, you two just went out to eat, because the whole house smelled burnt because of the kitchen.

kaeya

Kaeya was laying next to you in bed, wide awake already, as for you, you were still in deep sleep. He smiled, and kissed your forehead before getting up, and getting dressed.

He had the day off today, so while you were still asleep, he wanted to make you breakfast in bed. He didn’t know what to make, but an idea popped into his head suddenly. He was gonna make you a dish from your country. He has never tried to make it, but he has seen you make it dozen of times, so it might be easy.

To your surprise, he made it exactly as you did. “This is amazing! Where did you learn to cook this good?” You asked in amazement, to which he shrugged and smiled at. “It’s a secret.” He said as he winked a you.

scaramouche

Scaramouche was sometimes really shy to ask you about stuff, despite you being his s/o. So when he watched in admiration as you made a dish from your country in silence, he really wanted join, but was shy to ask.

You noticed his glances, and smiled. “You okay?” You chuckled, and turned around to look at him. “I’m fine, yes.” He looked away, and you just shrugged and continued. After some minutes, he went up to you, and wrapped his arms around your waist. “Could I…possibly help you?” He whispered in a low tone.

Your eyes lit up, and you told him what he needed to do, and to ask if he needed any assistance. This was definitely one of his favorite way to learn about you culture and food, and also spend time with you.

jean

You were perfectly aware that Jean was a perfectionist, and a hard worker. She felt that everything needed to be done perfectly, so when you needed to make a dish from your country to bring to a family gathering, she was more happy to help.

Since you had other stuff to take care of, you gave Jean a detailed recipe for the dish, so it would be perfect. Let’s say, she did not disappoint! When you returned, it was absolutely perfect, and it blew you away, how this was her first time making it.

You thanked her a thousand times, and she just smiled and kissed you cheek, “anything for you, hun”

A/N: sorry for being away for so long, my finals were stressing me out, but I passed all of them (thank god). So, I’m gonna be focusing more on writing, I can’t promise, because I have a life outside tumblr, but i will write when I have the time

GENSHIN HCS | YOU FALL ASLEEP ON THEM

(sorry for being gone for like forever. didn’t have much motivation to write lol.)

Characters: scaramouche, il dottore, raiden shogun, klee (platonic), ayato, yae miko, xiao, zhongli, ganyu and ayaka x gn!reader

scaramouche

To be honest, I feel like he would act as though he hates it that you fell asleep on his shoulder, but inside he loves it. His heart practically screaming inside.

After a while, he would get tired of it, and purposely say something out loud, or softly shake you until you wake up. If you don’t, he’ll just pick you up and carry you to your bedroom.

il dottore

Dottore actually wouldn’t mind. If you two are alone, he would simply lay his head on top of yours and listen to your breathing. If you’re in public though, he’ll just act as if nothing had happened, and probably act as if he finds it unpleasant, just so he doesn’t ruin his image y’know.

If you’re overworked and you fall asleep on him while researching something, he might just do it for you, and complete it while letting you rest on his comfortable shoulder.

raiden shogun

Raiden would try her best not to move so she doesn’t wake you. If she does, she’ll feel really bad and apologize. She would try to make it up to you, even if you insist that she doesn’t have to.

She would probably stop the loud ass thunderstorm, and change the weather to something more calming, like gentle rain. She would also carry you to your bedroom, so that it’s more comfy for you.

klee

She would probably be really startled at first. One second, you were helping Klee make her massive bomb for something who knows what, and a second later you were snoring, while your head was on top of hers.

Klee wouldn’t really know what to do, she would probably try to wake you up. If that doesn’t work, she will ask somebody for help, either Jean, Kaeya or Lisa.

ayato

You two would be sitting in his study, with you next to him reading a book. The atmosphere was really relaxing, and caused you to rest your eyes a bit, which resulted to you falling asleep on Ayato.

He jumped a bit after feeling your head on his shoulder, but then he smirked a bit, before placing your head on his lap so you didn’t have to sleep in an uncomfortable position.

yae miko

Yae would probably chuckle a bit on seeing your cute expression while you’re sleeping. I have a feeling she would admire you for a little while, before carrying you to your bedroom.

If she doesn’t have anything else to do for the day, she climb into bed with you. Without noticing it, she would turn into her fox form. So, don’t be surprised when you have a some fox fur everywhere in your bed when you wake up.

xiao

Just like Scaramouche, he would pretend as if he hates it when you fall asleep on him. Probably rolling his eyes or something. He’s not so used to physical touch, so this may seem kinda weird for him.

He may be awkward at first, but later on he would soften up a bit. Maybe laying his head on yours, or just admire you as you sleep.

zhongli

You two were laying in bed together, your head on his chest, and Zhongli was telling you stories about his past. That was until, he heard a light snore come from underneath him, he slightly smiled to himself.

Zhongli doesn’t really sleep that much, so it would be a while until he falls asleep, so he would just continue telling his stories even though you weren’t exactly listening.

ganyu

If you’re overworked and fall asleep on her, she wouldn’t mind. As a workaholic, she understands how it must feel to have so much work on your shoulders.

By seeing you sleep, she too, would get really tired. She would carry you to your shared bedroom, where you two were cuddling until one of you woke up from your slumber.

ayaka

I have a feeling Ayaka would become a blushing mess. Turning all red, but she doesn’t even know why. She would look at you, smiling to herself at how cute you looked.

She wouldn’t know if to move you to a more comfortable place to sleep in fear of waking you up, so she doesn’t, she just stays still until you wake up.

I’m sorry again for being away for so long, I just never have the time or motivation to write anymore. I’ll try to write from time to time though.

Sleeping with Genshin Characters HC’s

Characters: Diluc, Ganyu, Itto, Raiden Shogun, Xiao, Yae Miko, Yunjin and Zhongli

Diluc

I feel like Diluc probably sleeps on his back, and just lays there. Not even moving. Which makes it kind of hard for you to cuddle with him. Sometimes, he feels kind of bad, and pulls you into his arms. He is mostly the big spoon, but wouldn’t mind being the little spoon once in a while.

Ganyu

Why do I imagine that you two have matching pajamas💀 kind of cute though.

Anyways, Ganyu does not sleep that much because, sometimes she overworks, which means you have to drag her to bed most of the time. Likes to cuddle, I feel like she enjoys laying on your chest, while you caress her hair or horns.

Itto

Oh boy. This oni snores so loud, that the whole land of Inazuma can hear him. You would have to practically kick his leg so he would stop. He is really big on cuddling, he likes it when you lay on his chest. Your breathing make him feel calm, but when you’re spooning. That’s a different story. He enjoys being the big spoon, but sometimes he squeezes you too hard without even noticing it.

Raiden Shogun

If you’re scared of thunder or lightning, she will most likely make the weather rainy, so you can peacefully fall asleep in her arms. She holds onto you really tight, afraid of letting you go, Ei feels like she has to protect you at all costs. You may hear some snoring from her, but it’s really light snoring, so you can’t really hear a thing.

Xiao

I feel like Xiao wouldn’t be really into cuddling at first, but later in the relationship, it was him who always initiated the cuddling. He probably has a messed up sleep schedule, so he might wake up in the middle of the night, and not be able to fall asleep again. Also, he likes it when you play with his hair, it really calms him down.

Yae Miko

Miko is probably a light sleeper, any disturbances might awake her, even if you move an inch, it might still wake her. When she’s asleep, she sometimes out of nowhere turns into her fox form, but you don’t mind, her fur is literally so soft.

Yunjin (she’s so underrated bro)

Yunjin would only sleep when you’ve gone to sleep. She cares about you too much. If you have trouble sleeping, she would sing for you, which you honestly adore. I feel like she’s a heavy sleeper, and probably snores a bit, idk💀

Zhongli

He would tell you stories about his past, when he was an archon, which honestly keeps you awake, rather than sleepy. He sometimes notices that, and rather just holds you till you fall asleep. I have a feeling he sleeps on his back with many pillows in his bed. (So random lol)

Ayato;

He would compliment you all the time, even when you look like you’ve crawled out of a dumpster, but you love him for that.

Ayato buys you a lot of gifts, it could be jewelry, a book, or something he made himself when he had the time to, and that makes your heart flutter every time.

He loves spending quality time with you. He might not have so much free time because of his work, but he tries to spend his time with you as much as he can, and that’s good enough for you.

Diluc;

Diluc loves to walk with you, whether it be late at night or very early in the morning.

Very protective over you. He doesn’t want you to walk alone at night in case something happens, and if someone talks to you or touches you in a way that makes you uncomfortable, be ready for them to get a real beating.

Loves when you sit beside him when he does some paperwork.

Spoils you to the point where it’s literally too much.

Xiao;

I expect him to be secretly watching you from a distance, not in a creepy way, but to make sure you’re safe.

Whenever you give him a kiss or hug him, he would kind of get tongue tied, and blush a lot.

Xiao would also get you small gifts which he places on your front door, it’s either flowers which he picked for you, or his favorite dish, or something else. There is always a note attached to the gift.

Ei;

Just like Diluc, she loves to take walks with you. Her favorite place is through Inazuma City, trying new foods or just taking a stroll with you.

Would try to cook for you, but she always ends up failing and almost burning the whole kitchen down. You still appreciate it anyways.

She loves talking to you, Ei finds your voice very soothing. You two could talk about anything for hours without getting bored.

Ayaka;

She would send little letters to you everyday, reminding you that she loves you so much.

Ayaka loves to hold your hand, no matter what you are doing she will hold it. She also becomes such a blushing mess when you kiss her, hiding behind her fan because of it.

She performs for you so much, that you know all of her dances by heart now, but you don’t care. You love watching her dance. The way she moves so elegantly really dazzles you.

Scaramouche;

I feel like Scara would be kind of distant at the start of the relationship, like being very stiff when you hug him, not knowing what to do when you compliment him, that sort of stuff. He does warm up eventually though.

Would literally beat the shit out of anyone who disrespects you, like without a second thought, the person would be half-dead in two seconds.

Somewhat possessive, he doesn’t really get that jealous, because he trusts you enough, but sometimes he does get jealous to the point that he must drag you out of the conversation you were having.

Ningguang;

Even though she’s a very busy woman, she tries her best to spend time with you whenever she can, but it’s not for too long.

Whenever she has her off days, you two either walk around Liyue Harbor hand in hand, just stay home cuddling in bed or something else. She always allows you to choose.

Spoils you 24/7, even when you say you don’t need so much stuff, she buys you even more, to the point where you have to ask her to stop.

Zhongli;

Zhongli loves your company, you two could just be sitting in complete silence, reading separately in your books and still enjoy it.

Sitting with him at Third-Round Knockout, drinking some tea and listening to different kinds of stories is one of his favorite things to do with you.

He is a gentleman. Always holding the door for you, asking you about your day, giving you his coat when it’s raining, protecting you from weird ass people you might come across. That sort of stuff.
