Final thing for today-- another Damen sketch. More stylized. More decora/guro emphasis. A few random facts about Damen, he is gemini, he has a twin sister, he looks at life through a lens of humour, he is actually pansexual but doesn’t explore or come to understand that side of himself until later, he also appreciates and relates to androgyny. He uses dark forms of self-expression (body mods, satanic imagery, piercings, grungey clothes) to create juxtaposition between a scary outer-appearance and his jovial, easygoing heart. He likes to provoke, tease, and jest with others. He is sensitive but pretends he isn’t. He is one character I relate most strongly to when I examine my idealistic teenage side

He changes his hair colour a lot, guys. I need to do him in colorr soon.

Damen bothering his twin sister, Amy.

They are gemini, on the cusp of cancer, but Damen is more like a gemini and Amy is less impulsive and more serious in some circumstances. They argue often and don’t necessarily hang out in the same friend groups, but they care about each other. Amy is much more mature than Damen, but she can be self-absorbed and Damen is extremely humble despite projecting an arrogant playful side most of the time. They live just with their mom as their father passed away. They aren’t very wealthy -- Amy is in the academy due to a scholarship, and Damen is in because of his connection to Garm and his family who founded the school.

Anyway, lots of details out of context. I love developing them, I’m not great at writing but I have been writing my story more and more.

2 more of my OCs, Ashe and Garm. They are a couple since middle school, and are around 16 in this. He’s tall, like 6′4. They don’t stay together, Ashe becomes toxic... But they are the two most popular students in the academy.

Both are from wealthy families and are somewhat encouraged to be together by their parents. In middle school, they had more in common. Garm stuck with the alternative scene but Ashley felt it was immature and grew out of it. She’s really supposed to be more beautiful than I was able to draw her ^-^ I haven’t drawn her a lot so I look forward to fleshing her out more.

I love how this piece turned out, it’s one of my favourites from 2018. This is based on one of my characters Damen. I’ve been really inspired by BJDs lately and I want some from Doll Chateau so badly! I would make all my OCs.
