No one else cares for your success (as much as their own) so you have to care. You have to force yourself to get up early, you have to force yourself to turn your phone off and revise, you have to force yourself to workout, you have to care for the whole world because no one else cares until they start seeing results. And they won’t ever see your results if you don’t care enough first. It’s your life, they are your goals, your dreams, it will be your success but it has to be your effort and your work first and foremost x

Flowers on the Grave (2020 version)
September is ending
and I'm still here.
How do I stop this feeling
of dying within?
Tell me the place I'm going
before I continue to breathe.
Is there hope I'm not seeing
covered in dusty wind?
Is love existing
inside the hearts that beat?
Is faith always living
in those who believe?
I don't know anything.
But please,
don't start weeping
by the end of the week.

Shout out to all your internet friends who are gone.
Those messenger screen names that haven’t logged on in ages, some before detailed profiles were a thing on those services.
Those emails that are long since abandoned, some with domains that no longer exist.
Those online friends you knew years ago and who then helped shaped you in some way, who you just can’t FIND anymore.
Those people who once were, and hopefully still exist IRL, that seem to have no known internet life anymore.
And those who have actually passed on, and their online lives are now a memorial to them.
I miss you all. I hope life is/was kind to you, and maybe one day, we’ll somehow connect again.

Rain rain don’t go away: Exiting the area of responsibility
The rain stopped. The season is ending. We are in our last days. We will remember. Reminiscing our precious memories, how it seemed bitter and sweet, happy and sad, the trueness of the saying, ‘everything comes and goes.’ Bidding their farewell as it all ends here, the story of our innocent youth, of our little adventures with old friends, of our unforgettable and exciting moments with a lover. The downpour will constantly remind us. We will never forget. But then, tomorrow is always a new beginning.

Rain rain don’t go away: Typhoon
The rain is still falling. You’ve gotten some colds. He brings you your medicine but he isn’t holding anything. He playfully says “I’m your cure” and wrap his body on you. It is beyond warm like fire and you do love it. He hugged you tightly and cuddled together inside the blanket. You told him “You might have my cold” but suddenly, he leans in and teasingly kisses you. The rain is getting heavier and louder. You both smiled and stole another taste until you dozed off, asleep beside each other.

Rain rain don’t go away:Tropical Depression
The rain is heavy. It makes us crazy. Took off our coats and started dancing. It was cold but we endured it. Warmed our bodies by the way we’re touching. Hugs and kisses, we all get flirty. It was sexy and liberating. Thought we can’t do it. A bizarre sensation as the rain drops lightly. And we began laughing. It wasn’t funny, we just badly like it. Wishing it would rain hard once more so we can do everything.

Rain rain don't go away: Low Pressure Area
The rain starts to pour. We all run to take cover. Jumping up and down, skipping through to the shelter. The noise of the water as it lands in the roofs of the houses. The change in the smell of the surroundings as it eventually touches the ground. The sweaty feeling of our skins           as we get soak before we could reach a shed. Shouting, chuckling, liking, waiting for a suspension 'cause why not? We could spend the time to catch up. A cup of coffee with friends while sharing some stories in our favorite spot as we chill. Luckily, the bell rings and we’re off to go.

Rain rain don't go away: Percentage Chance of Raining
The rainy season is here. My mother calls me. “Do you have your umbrella?” You should’ve brought it. “Do you at least wear your jacket?” You know you easily get cold. “How about your cap?” It is your favorite accessory. She knows every detail and would remind you every single day. “Don’t go against the rain or you would be sick.” You checked the weather and there’s no chance of raining. Not today. But still, you would always have those keep inside your things. The wind blows hard. It might rain later.

Wrong Side of the Fabric
The world unfolds. Its mask falls. It has its flaws. Its true color shows. It isn’t pretty as we know. It isn’t perfect as we call. It is corrupted up to its core. But nevertheless, it still goes.

“And we clutch that picture to our hearts because we expect each other to always be the people in that picture. But people change. People aren’t pictures. And you can either take a new picture or throw the old one away.” - Iain S. Thomas, I Wrote This For You

More than a Queen
They told you to be yourself but they are offended when you’re too lovely or too daring. Tell you, you must change and fit in, please them.
They said that you should love yourself but they perceived you as selfish and conceited. Tell you, think of others first, please them.
They encouraged you to speak yourself but they won’t lend an ear to the infinite possibilities of things. Tell you, stop overthinking and being immature, please them.
They believed in solitude, go and take time for yourself but they demand your words when you’re silent. Tell you, state your story and say something, please them.
They always insisted it’s for yourself yet they wouldn’t let you because nobody has the right to have anything for themselves, please them.
And the truth is, everything you do for yourself will never please them.
So, do it and go against the flow of everyone else, no need to please them.

Tried and Found Wanting
I’ve been trying to write but the words I knew aren’t enough to phrase what I’m thinking. I’ve been trying to draw but the strokes I created aren’t enough to depict what I’m seeing. I’ve been trying to bake but the goodies I prepared aren’t enough to describe what I’m savoring. I’ve been trying to sing but the lyrics and their melody aren’t enough to deafen what I’m hearing. I’ve been trying to dance but the beats and the steps aren’t enough to express what I’m feeling. I’ve been trying to love and understand but I felt like it wasn’t enough to heal our wounds that keep bleeding. Lately, I’ve been trying to— but either anything or every single thing wasn’t enough to change something.
