Guardian Angel...?! ✟ Adam

NOTE :

I haven't wrote in forevah so these are simple headcanons (pretty much a one shot just in bullet points) of Adam dealing with being the guardian angel of a modern day teenager. Our beloved reader! Reader is in high school and very much hispanic/latino coded. THIS IS PLATONIC!!!

WARNING(S) : Adam being his own warning, average teenager crap, short and messy, not proof read

Adam was NOT thrilled to learn that he'd have to be 'babysitting' some loser named "Y/N". All he could do was try to bitch and moan his way out of it to Sera but his complaints fell on deaf ears as there was no getting out of it. I quote "All angels must do it at some point while they're in heaven." Sera spoke with a stern tone. Psshhhhh, he knew that, but he didn't think that meant it would also apply to him. Now he didn't have as much time to do his chicks and gigs but it is what it is. From what he remembers about being a guardian angel, all he had to do was...

1. Protect them

2. Get them to avoid sin

3. Guide them from Point A to Point B

That shouldn't be TOO hard.

✟ First time back down on Earth since he died and the first thing he sees is you screaming "KILL YOURSELF" at someone in voice chat. Damn did you scream louder than the bitch he fucked last week. Already he wanted to leave but he had to stay with you for at least a couple times a week. Not only that but your room was a MESS! Don't you know sloth is a sin?? Empty bottles of water are scattered everywhere and your desk was a mess, things were collecting dust, and your bed is so undone like you were just raw dogging someone or being raw dogged

✟ After the first day of watching over you he could already tell that you were far from the path of god and possibly make him go insane from boredom so his genius little mind thought that if he was going to do this, then he was going to make it fun for himself

✟ Adam began to purposely knock things over in your house, rearrange items around, and call your out your name only for you to see no one. He found it hilarious that your seemed to piss your pants and think your house was possessed, he especially loved doing these things after you decided to watch any type of horror media at night or if you were home by yourself

✟ The jokes and laughs got boring very quickly since your reaction was always the same. After a bit he remembered that there was no rule that he couldn't show himself to the kid. Sure it should be obvious and common sense to not reveal yourself as all the other guardian angels never did it but that's an imaginary rule so it's not an official rule. Therefore, he isn't breaking ANY of the rules

You grumbled in pain as you had woken up with a bad migraine in the morning, the only upside was that your mom let you stay home from school today. Speaking of your mother, she had made you some caldo de res before heading to work so you'd feel better along with a cold can of sprite. As you were about to eat some of the caldo you saw the vase of a plant slightly move from the corner of your eye which paused your eating. Ever since last month your house had some creepy ghost shit happening and you were sure that you'd end up in a padded white room if you told anyone anything.

You decided not to pay it any attention as you took one last bite of your warm caldo until the vase fell off the shelf and crashed onto the floor.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE DEMON!"

You felt silly for shouting at an empty space in your home but you had enough of whatever spirit was haunting you, and your headache was not making it any better.

After a few seconds of silence you heard an very offended voice from behind you "Okay first of all, I'm not a fucking demon, second, don't yell at empty spaces unless you want people to think that you're a schizophrenie."

Were you dreaming?! Was this you finally loosing your shit from those all nighters? You turned around and almost broke your neck to look up at this guy...this dude was like 3x your height if not more!

You were stunned, you blinked once then twice then just put your empty dish in the sink.

"I need to…nap."

As you walked upstairs, you brought two fingers to forehead, your stomach, your right left then right shoulder, and up to your lips in a prayer of “En el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. Amén.”

✟ You later confirmed that you weren't dreaming and this was in fact real after waking up to his smug toothy smile. It being day only a few hours ago and it now it was pitch black out side. His bright glowing neon yellow face being the only source of light in the room which also allowed you to see that his elbows were resting on the crinkled and wrinkled sheets of your bed as he held his face in his both of his hands.

"Sup kid, so is your mom single or what?"

Even after getting together, Red Son still acts like he isn't with you and is still in fact crushing on you.

❥ WARNINGS: Short, and might be OOC? Idk this is my first time ever writing them please spare me.

[I literally love this show and her so much it makes my heart explode god damn. I'm also in desperate need of more Red Son content so I did the job myself]

It was silly really.

Silly how even after you’ve both become official, Red Son would still act as if he was still crushing on you like before you both started dating.

You could easily tell as you could remember every single thing he would do back then and still continues to.

You'd be talking and you'd shortly notice the way that whenever you’d catch him staring at you dreamily from the corner of your shimmering eyes he’d immediately snap out of his daydreams and look away with a flushed face. This same thing would happen when he'd admire you from a distance.

How whenever you gave him physical affection such as hugging him he’d stiffen up like a wooden plank and ignore the way his stomach twisted into multiple knots. How he’d avert his eyes to look at anywhere but your warm, teethy and endearing smile;

Oh that ever so dear smile he adored so much. Red Son felt like putty in your hands just by seeing it.

Just by speaking to you it still made him as if his mouth was sewn shut with a needle and thread. He would fumbled over his words and fake some coughs to think of how to respond to what you might’ve said or asked as he feels his throat dry and form a pit. He felt so embarrassed that he couldn't even form a proper sentence around you!

He strongly believed that if he stared into your eyes for longer than 5 seconds he’d surely burn from your gaze…and he was a fire demon for heaven’s sake! How did that make any sense?! It made him feel so dumb! Dumbly in love because of you!

Red Son would still try to hide his giddy smile whenever you’d compliment him on the slightest thing whether it be about him or his achievements. Denying the fact that there were small sparks of fire that ignited in the tips of his bright red hair.

Talking to himself and planning out what he’d say before you arrived, making sure that the conversations went smoothly and that he wouldn’t end up saying some cheesy, rom-com worthy sentence.

He’d still spend the time fixing his hair, straightening his posture so he stood there confidently then brushing the specks of dust off his clothes with his hands, and checking to see if his breath didn’t reek of an unpleasant odor before popping a mint or two into his mouth as he waited for you to arrive to meet up with him for hang outs, or well..now dates.

How whenever you approach him, gleaming brighter than the sun he’d still get shy and awkwardly wave back at you as you greeted him.

Even sending him the simplest text while you were away and asking about his well being or a simple ‘I love you,’ would send him into a giggling fit, making him twirl his hair and kick his feet. Of course only where no one could see him, he'd actually never hear the end of it if someone had caught him acting such a way only a middle school girl would.

So now here you were at his workshop, listening to him as he spoke so happily and proudly about his newest invention. You would ask him questions about stuff he created that he'd happily answer without a second of hesitation as you praised him with such sweet and honey laced words.

And just like that without even trying, your magical abilities on him happened as sparks of his hair would ignite in a flaming glow and his cheeks would be dusted with a brilliant pink.

At this reaction you only smiled at him just like you always did, that same tooth rotting sweet smile.

All of this was so silly that it was adorable.

He was adorable.

♡ You got Mikey a gift too? And it's a plushie, Ohmigosh!!

♡ He'll always sleep with that plushie from that day and on, he'll give it a name and everything! Ends up apologizing to the stuffed plush if they ever accidentally ended up on the floor when he slept

♡ For the rest of the day you'll both end up watching cheesy romance movies then crying at the end being like omg they were endgame

♡ You'll get such a nice bouquet of flowers, specifically red roses. It is Valentines day significant flower is it not?

♡ Secondly, Leo takes you out for dinner! How romantic, but its not a big fancy 5 star restaurant, you think he could afford to pay that much? He'd tell you that when they hand out the check you'd both make a run and they'd just have to catch you.

♡ You'll eat at Hueso's, and you both end up eating a heart shaped pizza with drink of your choice. How yummy

♡ Once done eating, Leo would take you around the hidden city and spend whatever money you had left on stuff you saw and wanted. Pretty much a shopping spree, hooray!

♡ Sneaking into places as well, like concerts, hotels, movies, fairs, carnavals, and other places. As long as you don't get caught then you're good to go.

♡ Once you were both of of moolah you just have a nice walk around the place at night! A very nice conversation would start, then it'd lead to a deep conversations but that's up to you to think about

♡ Used to not celebrate Valentines day. Not that he didn't like it but he's never been too big on celebrating it, until you came into the picture

♡ You see him on Valentines and he gifts you stuff he made himself! Like a music box, jewelry, or a plush that can be a loyal servant to you. His pride fills up whenever you thank him for the lovely gifts

♡ The rest of the day is you and him making playlist for each other, dancing to those playlist because after all his online persona is Bootyyyshaker9000 for a reason lol! Are you no good at dancing? He'll try his best to teach you himself

♡ Before or after that you'll both have a karaoke night with each other because what else can be better than that? Singing your whole hearts out like such theater kids

♡ Video game sessions, very self explanatory

☆ The first part of it Mikey and yourself were gushing and fawning over how great of an older brother and leader Raph is! Who could ask for anyone better than him? He is irreplaceable

☆ After a discussing it for a moment a silence fell upon the both of you until an imaginary exclamation mark ! popped above your head

☆ "Wait, but then how about the second best older brother?"

☆ The peaceful smile on your twin brother's face then fell into one of questioning

☆ After another moment of wondering you quickly turned to each other and blurted out

☆ Well...that was most certainly not the name you were both hoping for from each other

☆ A bit of bickering went back and forth until it caught the attention of both the turtles the duo was talking about

☆ "Okay who keeps yelling out all of my perfections because I am loving it!" "And what in the name of Einstein is all this bickering commotion between you two about anyways?"

☆ "Well, we're both debating who the best 2nd oldest brother is and we don't seem to have the same opinion, Michelangelo."

☆ "You see I would much rather prefer if it were first place instead but I wouldn't mind settling for seconds dearest baby siblings."

☆ "They're biting each other now Nardo I really think we should-" "Nah, like I said just any other sibling fight."

☆ "Leonardo! They are reaching for their weapons now I think we should really-" "Yeah, you're right I just wanted to see how far they'd go, I'll get (Y/n) you get Mikey."

[My brain literally can't sleep so instead it demands me to write this random oneshot I imagined just right now in my mind so apologies for any errors or it doesn't make sense lol]

PS: I literally had to reupload this whole this a day later because it didn't show under the hashtags I put for some unknown reason

It was dark..it was 2 in the morning in fact.

The only thing that was giving off light in the room was the bright shine of the TV in front of you and the tiny flickers of light from outside the window.

Were you tired? Maybe just a bit, but you and your lovely softshell turtle of a boyfriend had been staying up all night watching various genres of movies. It was also a school night which really didn’t help at all with your case and probably wasn’t the smartest idea, but who cares? Originally, the plan before was to have Donnie come over to your place and help you out with your homework then leave but then you both got kind of distracted. Your parent(s) were out of the city for the weekend due to some personal reasons so you didn’t have to worry about them walking into your room then possibly ground you for life.

As of right now, you were in the living room with Donnie who had one arm wrapped around your waist with your head resting against the shoulder of the soft fabric of his purple jacket against your cheek. There were empty candy wrappers scattered around the floor with a half finished bowl of popcorn that was now stale in Donnie’s lap which you were pretty sure he had forgotten was even there.

You hadn’t noticed that the cheesy romcom that was playing was over as the end credits started to roll.

“God, that was so awful,” Donnie let out a quiet chuckle as he grabbed the remote from the armrest of the couch, his voice also snapped you out of your zoning out state.

“You want to watch something else, (Y/n)?”

Doing a frog blink, your eye’s gaze moved up to meet with his own gaze staring down at you. It took you a moment to process his offer then it finally registered into your mind,

“Oh..Oh! Yeah sure..” Lazily you reached out to take the remote out of his hand so that you could type in the movie you wanted in the search engine so the only noise audible was the sound of you clicking the arrows and ‘ENTER’ button of the rectangular remote in your hand.

“You seem tired, dear.” Donnies ‘observing’ of you came out more as a statement. Right as you were about to speak a small yawn of yours cut you off and you heard Donnie’s silent laughter from above you. He found it adorable.

Letting out a tiny huff you found a movie that had caught your interest, “Then maybe this next movie will wake me up a bit,” You never denied that he was wrong about you being tired anyways. Donnie turned his attention back to the TV;

“A horror movie?”

“Yes, I said it’ll help wake me up, Don.” You clarified to him. You wouldn't be surprised if Donatello confessed that he wasn't at all tired. You know how he sometimes stays up very late quite often because his sleep schedule is something you want to help him fix, but he said he will if you fixed yours as well. Ooooo he got you there.

“Fair enough.” was what he replied with before the living room fell back into complete silence again while placing the forgotten popcorn onto the coffee table in front of you guys as the movie began.

...

30 minutes into the movie and it was boring to say the least. Donnie must’ve found it unassuming too as you noticed that he was scrolling through the media on his phone, you didn’t blame him though. Gosh maybe you should’ve just ended it off with the romcom and called it a night. Your eyelids felt so heavy that you nuzzled your face deeper into to Donnies shoulder as you were so ready to doze off.

Just as you were about to fall asleep, out of nowhere a loud screeching noise and hideous looking creature appeared on the TV.

Being unprepared for the sudden jumpscare you flinched rather obviously as both of your arms quickly went around Donnie’s plastron area. Donnie on the other hand looked down at your shakened figure as he couldn’t help but try not to laugh at the sight of you all wide eyed and clinging onto him like a magnet.

“Are you awake now?”

Quick to realize what he was referencing too you released him from your hold as you gave him a light punch on the shoulder, “Oh shut up!”

Donnie wiped a fake single tear from his eye, “Oh but your reaction was just so priceless oh I should’ve recorded it! Oh wait- I did!” His phone was in his hand as he replayed the moment on his phone. Holding it right up to your face with such a smug smirk.

In the end, you were still tired. So tired you weren’t even going to bother with Donnies tactics right now, “Fine, fine you win Donatello, BUT that is only because I want to go to bed!”

With a proud toothy smile on Donnie’s face he patted you head, “Alright, you should get your beauty sleep then my dearest (Y/n) for I, Von Ryan have to head back to my brothers!”

Using the remote to turn off the TV and cleaning up a bit of the mess you let out a laugh at his farewell, “Yeah, yeah, a goodnight to you too dear Von Ryan." Donnie just smiled back at you as he turned around to open open the door.

Just as Donnie was about to head out through your door you remembered something, “Oh- hey Donnie hold up!” you called out to him just in time.

“Hmm?” He hummed, turning his head slightly as you were now behind him, “I almost forgot!”

“Forgotten wha-” You cut Donnie off by pulling him down by the strings of his jacket to give him a small kiss.

Pulling away, he was thankful for the darkness of the house. At that moment as you would’ve been able to see the bright red all over his face.

“A goodnight kiss! Now have a goodnight, Don!”

He gave you a single nod, “O-Oh yeah another very goodnight to you too (Y/n)!”

Once he was outside of your door now and making his way back to his place Donnie couldn't help but be excited for the next time you both decided to have a movie night like this together again.

♡ The first time you had a panic attack oh this poor guy

♡ While his physical reaction was nothing but an awkward poker face, inside he was mentally panicking

♡ Leo genuinely had no clue on what to do as you broke down in front of me. Inside his mind he kept yelling at himself to do something and not make it even worse for you. Come on Leo don't just stand there! Say something dammit!

♡ Should he one of his jokes to lighten the mood?! No because he is afraid that he'll end up running his mouth and say something insensitive!

♡ If he had the time he would immediately search up quick easy steps online 'How to comfort my s/o through a panic attack' and click the first link that would pop up in results

♡ Should he ask Donnie for help??? No- there's no time for that! You need to be comforted ASAP and he would do his best shot at trying I mean, doing it

♡ From what little our poor turtle knows he'll automatically be by your side, hold your hand while rubbing small circles on it for comfort and tell you to take deep breath exercises; Extra brownie points is that he'll do those breathing exercises with you

♡ "Shh shh, take slow and steady breaths for me alright? Thats right! In and out-"

♡ Once you've managed to get back to a steady paste he'll be reassuring you of your safety, that he's here for you, you're safe, nothing is going to hurt you, etc

♡ After a minute or so of steady breathing Leo will then ask if you want to talk about it. You do? My man is all ears! You don't? He'll respect your decision and just hold you in his arms until you feel better

♡ Asks if you want or need anything like an awesome gentleman that he is. Water? He gets the glass of water for you faster than the speed of light!

♡ Stays with you for as long as you need after your panic attack. He doesn't mind!

♡ Melts at any type of affection you give him but specifically these two actions make his heart pound in his chest so much

♡ Like- He actually has to kneel down for you to be able to kiss his forehead? Because of his height you usually make yourself taller by standing on top of something such as the couch; Raph, finds it very cute of you

♡ Fun fact, I personally like to believe that Raph enjoys receiving most of his smooches from you on his forehead out of anywhere else

♡ As for lap pillows...

♡ LOVES IT ‼️

♡ As much as he loves to hold you protectively in his arms, this big dude deserves to be held just much as well!

♡ His physical body frame has its pros and cons, BUT when he lays his head on your lap it's makes him feel so loved and so much smaller than he actually is

♡ Most people would be quick too assume that he'd be the one always big spooning and such, which they'd be right sometimes

♡ But whenever he gets to enjoy moments like these with you it makes him feel so so so so so giddy! His stomach fluttering with butterflies as he lays his head on your lap

♡ He had a long day❓ Loves nothing more than to lay his head on your lap as you ask him about his day, what he was up too, and how your own day was. You may or may not know it but just being able to do this with you makes so much of the stress on his shoulders disappear

♡ Not only can you give him lap pillows, you could also give Raph his forehead kisses! It just makes this whole experience even better for him to be honest 😊

♡ He loved the absolute joy in your face when he had finally gotten his redemption arc while you had finally beaten all of the Dark Cacao Kingdom Area, you were proud of him!

♡ Oh how Dark Choco wanted nothing more than to be with you in your world, or would it be you in his?

♡ He would defeat all the vicious cakehounds, travel all of Earthbread, live a thousand times then die a thousand times, all to be with you

Dark Choco loved you.

You loved him.

Though from another's perspective it seemed as if you were nothing more than a trophy to him, but you didn't know that as you were very naive during the relationship you had with the noble prince. Ah yes, during their youth there was a simple peasant whom he had fallen in love with, and you much like other people were all over him. The problem was that...he didn't know how to properly express his love for you.

Had he gotten that neglectful trait from his father? Perhaps.

The relationship you had established with each other wasn't good, nor was it the worst, but the cookies of his Kingdom said otherwise as in their eyes you were both viewed as the most perfect couple in all of Earthbread when in reality it wasn't all as well as they thought it was. No, it wasn't physically or mentally abusive, it just wasn't the happiest.

Dark Choco would make little to no room for you in his busy schedule as it was always full of tasks, quests, journeys, and other royal duties assigned by himself, or the king Dark Cacao, his father. You'd never bother to ask him to spend time, not after the last time you had tried to because instead of listening he just lectured you that you're not the only cookie in the world he has to worry about as they were other cookies that were in actual danger.

Understanding the first time you had left him alone as he was of course the son of not only an ancient, but also the prince of the strong and mighty Dark Cacao Kingdom, yet there was still a part of you that wanted to beg of him to at least spend a day, even just an hour with you but you brushed it aside like dust. You'll come off as selfish is what you always told yourself.

Sometimes Dark Choco would leave off to a journey without acknowledging you of his absence that would last for days, weeks, sometimes months only to leave you there to wait until his return much like a loyal puppy waiting for their owner to return.

When he did come back it'd always be late at night during that hours that you'd already be sleeping at so to apologize he'd hold your sleeping figure close to his body, whispering small apologies then promising that he'll next time push aside all of his duties just for you, but there was no next time. There was never a next time. There would never be a next time.

Some promises are meant to be broken for the sake of others.

It didn't make it any better that these would be some of the only times that he'd openly show you affection, of course it had to be when you weren't awake to see it.

There would be times where fellow maidens of foreign or his kingdom would flirt with him. Being the prideful prince he once was would flirt back with them, not thinking about how it would affect you. All you could do was stand there in his shadow, yes it did hurt...a lot...but you managed to convince yourself that he loved you and only you, as always. Was what you were convincing yourself true? You hoped, you weren't sure with all his mixed signals, but he did love you! Right?

The Dark Cacao Kingdom was not as strong as it used to, and it absolutely worried the charming prince. Dark Choco had spent countless days researching through ancient libraries, books, etc for any possible solution that could help heal his now failing kingdom. His father would not do a single goddamn thing about it so he had no other choice then to take matters into his own hands.

Dark Choco needed assistance, none of the watchers would help him as they only obeyed his father's commands so he turned to you. When he had asked for you to help him you wasted no time in saying yes! You saw this as the opportunity to spend time with Dark Choco, he finally got to be with you and you alone!

Staying up both day and night with him you'd assist him all you could, bring him coffee, bring him books of ancient relics, assisting the prince to get some rest as you'd do the rest for him. Someone would've thought that he'd at least urge you to get a good night's- rest as well. All the overworking had began to slowly get to you as deep dark eyebags had formed under your once vibrant eyes that were now quite dull due to lack of rest.

That one day, the day were Dark Choco had happily bursted through the chocolate doors with the brightest smile you've ever seen on him face. He had explained to you that he has found what will be the key to solving what his father Dark Cacao couldn't. Though you were very sleep deprived and in need of a long rest you wanted to match your lovers optimistic energy you forced a smile onto your face. That very smile did not last for long after you had asked him what the solution was, your smile immediately faltered upon hearing him reveal that it was the ancient relic The Strawberry Jam Sword.

You weren't big on history but you have heard the countless of myths, folktales, legends, stories about the unfortunate souls of the cookies who've stumbled upon it and all the tales had ended in nothing but fatality, tragedy, and consequence.

You heart ached at the thought of your seeing Dark Choco end up becoming the next tale of the cookie who went out seeking for the sword. Only worrying for the safety of him you had asked if he had ever even heard of the tales of those who had a hold of the sword and if there was any other alternative to saving his kingdom.

Dark Choco's enthusiastic state died down as he turned to made full on eye contact with you. Were you doubting him??? You didn't know that the prince would take offense to your two questions. Yes, he has heard of those silly false tales, and no there wasn't any other solution for his desperate situation.

It upset you that he had gotten mad over something so simple to answer, there was no reason for him to get all pissed off. Just by asking those questions it had escalated to an argument, first being opinions about the whole thing to throwing insults back and forth. He wanted to risk his life, you wanted the opposite of that.

"What's my favorite color?" Was all you asked, you weren't sure why but you did.

Dark Choco was about to answer but then paused, he thought for moments, he did know what your favorite color was didn't he..? He knew right? I-he..what was your favorite color?... He immediately went silent. He did not know a thing about you and he had just realized that, but he wouldn't admit it. Dark Choco only stayed silent as he walked pushed you aside and walked past you out of the room.

He did not have time to deal with this.

He did not want to deal with this.

He had a mission to carry out.

The fight had ended with you waking up the next morning to see that he was not there next to you as he had already left the kingdom in search of the sword. Not even bothering to say goodbye, not like he didn't already do that.

...

Months passed after Dark Choco had left in search of the cursed sword as you could only think about was the fight. Guilt began to eat you alive as you wondered if the whole cause of it was actually your fault.

...

More months had passed by and when he finally did return to the kingdom it wasn't the prince you once knew. You had never even known the prince at all.

He was now a monster.

Dark Choco had struck down his own father, he had hurt other cookies, he had crumbled his very own kingdom all because of a sword.

Your only shook in fear as Dark Choco was kneeling down on both knees in front of you, tears pouring down his face mixing with the blood spilling out of what was once his eye. Dark Choco had a death grip on your wrist that you were sure it would leave a bruise, he was begging you to help him, save him, stay with him, comfort him, sympathize him, pity him for the destruction that he had caused.

The sight of seeing the prince in such a state like this was nerve wracking.

You weren't sure what had happened that day but something hit you like a brick, something in you had finally snapped. Realization had slapped you across the face...he was never there for you. Where was he in your time of need? Where was he when you needed him most? He only wanted you when he was in need of something such as right now.

Everything made sense now...

He was never there, so why should you do that for him?

Using all your might you ripped yourself from his painful grasp as you made a run for it before he could even have the chance catch up with you.

Yes, it shattered your heart that you had to leave the one you loved most but you didn't have much of an option.

The truth hurt. But living in a lie hurt even more.

Yet a large part of you wanted to turn back to him. You wanted to run into his arms and apologize for leaving him. Apologize for not helping him. Tell him how much you loved him and how you were just being stupid.

But sometimes what you want isn't what's best for you.

After all, this is his lover's life that we're talking about so of course he has to know what is going on in your life at all times!

♡ Not going to lie, Licorice would at first think that it was some sort of ritual to bring back the dead so you'd have to explain to him that it wasn't-

♡ After a lot of explaining Licorice was flabbergasted seeing that even something as cruel as death could be portrayed as something beautiful

♡ It amazed also Licorice on how a cookie could still love and cherish a loved one even after they were no longer with them,,,as he doesn't have any relatives nor biological family he has the CoD, Batcat, Brute, his servants, and you! He just doesn't doesn't openly admit that

♡ If you had an ofrenda for your loved ones, friends or family then he'd ask a lot of questions as to why you celebrate this, who they were, what they did, etc! Licorice is just curious <3

♡ He is absolutely in love with the painted sugar skulls and would want to keep a couple of his own! Heck he'd even try to paint his own design with the skulls all around his neck!

♡ Seeing the Alebrijes were another one of his favorite things to see as he had immediately thought about BatCat and asked you if BatCat would be considered one

♡ Not a big fan of the bright bright colors but its whatever! Helps you decorate and set up ofrendas in any way he can and would ask you how he could properly represent dia del los muertos without it being offensive and you gave him a bunch of tips and advice

♡ When you aren't looking, Licorice tries to sneak himself a pan dulce as he absolutely loves how tasty and sweet they are, different from the bitter foods that would be served at the Dark Enchantress Palace

♡ If you face painted your face to look like one of the colorful skulls then Licorice would beg you to do the same face paint for him! He only asks that you only use the colors black, white, and purple

♡ It astonished Licorice that you and many other cookies that celebrated this day believed that the spirits of you loved ones would come from this place called 'Land of the Remembered" to their ofrendas then collect all of the offerings around it

♡ When you told Licorice about the Land of the Forgotten and how people who weren't on an ofrenda since no one no longer remembered them it made him feel kinda bad which was not something he was used to feeling. Like, he gets the death part but then like never being remembered again by your loved ones has got to be a stab in the heart to feel

♡ Did I mention that his favorite part of it all was all of the festive sugar skulls?
