so we all know about “who the hell is jordie?” “someone i trusted. someone i couldn’t afford to lose”, right, but what we forget is the significance of kaz calling jesper ‘jordie’. it’s not just that jesper is a brother to him- jordie was kaz’s protector. jordie was the 13 year old that protected kaz and who kaz protected, the goofy one who made him smile and bought him hot chocolate at night. he felt safe around him. he trusted jordie with his life. in calling jesper ‘jordie’, kaz shows that subconsciously, he trusts jesper to protect him, that he could turn to him should he need it. and every time he yells at jesper, the gambler who couldn’t stay out of the red, for losing another bet, getting in debt again, all he can see is that same thirteen-year-old boy, swindled out of everything he owned and left for dead on the street. with every word he yells at jesper, he silently urges him to stay alive. with every bet jesper makes, all kaz can think is “i can’t lose a brother. not again.”

Sometimes all I can do is think

It's really not good

Since it always pushes to the brink

Sometimes I wish I could tell it

To screw off, I don't need you

But of course they still stay and sit

My mind worries over the small-

-It can just be a paper cut-

-But it might as well be super tall

If only I could make it stop

Even for a few minutes.....

Even...... NO I couldn't.....

So instead I "smile" for them

always for them....

It's never been for me, just them

Why couldn't I just speak up?

Then I get the chance, and...

Then.... I think.....

Man I wish I could have this kind of romance. Just the early mornings of laying together in happy silence, no pressure or stress of what the day might bring. Just taking in eachother and being calm. 😭😭😭

i think it's absolutely insane that s2 gave us SUCH a domestic wesper scene bc them in bed in the morning staring into each other's eyes bc they can't get over each other's beauty and wylan laying his head on jesper's chest listening to his heartbeat and jesper wrapping him up entirely in his arms and so gently caressing wylan's face bc the only thing that mattered in that moment was them and only them ?????

I’ve only seen one episode of Neverafter, and yet I’m still now making a bunch of horror type dnd characters based on fairtales/nursery rhymes. My first victim:

a college of whispers bard inspired by the pied piper… Piper Musically, an undead human who, after “killing” all the rats in town, a witch cursed said rats that came back and killed Piper. Now, as an undead bard she uses her magic (a mixture of speak with creature, befriend creature, charm creature, and other such spells and cantrips) brings back dead animals to fight for her. Though she tries to hide the fact that she is undead, her magic has the tendency to make her fall apart as she is held together by it (wild magic type)

What do I do next 🤔
