Code Lyoko Fantasy Au: Odd (17)

His village is a haven for hybrids of all kinds, and Odd’s family are cats, and they have masks enchanted with shape-shifting magic that allows them to go into animal form

He was the youngest with 5 older sisters, his parents traveled a lot, so his sisters had to take care of him, and that led to some resentment from the elder sisters. So often he’d go and play in the woods, mostly drawing and even finding a puppy to play with. One day there was a raid in his village, his sisters sent him to the woods to hide, and hours later, everything went quiet, so he went back. Everyone was gone, he didn’t see any bodies, but no one was around. His home was ransacked, so packing what he could and picking up his puppy, he left his village, not wanting to stay. Maybe he can learn something if he traveled and actively looked.

He eventually met Jermey and Ulrich and was allowed to join, meeting Aelita in the ball. He was the one to try and keep morale up. He learned to use a bow and arrow for range attacks.

After they free Aelita and get into enemy territory where they capture XANA’s commander and he spends most of his time talking to the soldier, trying to get answers. Later admits he thinks he’s cute. He wants to give him a chance after he sees him react to the burned village.

While with his new friends, is the most at home he’s ever felt.

Code Lyoko Fantasy AU: Yumi (18)

Her parents fought all the time, day in and out, it was up to her to pick up the pieces by taking care of the house and her little brother. She had to grow up fast because of her unstable home, and because of that she never made friends. Girls her age always whispered they didn’t like her because she wasn’t sociable. Yumi was okay with that, she didn’t care. She just wanted to protect her brother and shield him as much as she could from their fighting parents.

Then some raiders from the Dark Army came, they destroyed and robbed many, some were killed, and young boys were taken. Hiroki included.

She fought her parents and ran away, they didn’t want to try and get him back, it was a losing battle they said, so she ran to get him back. Along the journey, she meets a group that is also on traveling, they say they think they have a way to end the war. With the promise to help her get her brother back, she joins them in their travels. She ends up falling in love with the Swordsmen of the group.

Code Lyoko Fantasy AU: Jermey (16)

An elf prodigy who studies relentlessly in alchemy, but unlike his peers isn’t interested in the more physical aspects of his culture. So he’s often alone. One day when looking for ingredients, he stumbles across a cave that turns out to be a lab full of books and symbols. Looking around, he finds a flashing glowing ball, and curious, he touches it and an image of a beautiful pink-haired girl is there. She begs for help, that she’s the only one who can save the world, but she needs help. Jermey accepts he plans to go the next day, but there’s an attack on his village, making him flee.

He’s forced to start the journey early, and talks to Aelita in the ball often, so he doesn’t feel as alone. During his journey to find Aelita, he runs into other wanderers, each with their own mission, and they decide it is better to go as a group. Jermey learns what it’s like to actually have friends, to have people he can rely on and those who can rely on him. He learns to open up and to stand up for both himself and others, even in the face of danger.

Code Lyoko Fantasy Au: William (19)

He was separated from his parents when he was 12 and forced to train and join the Dark Army. Doing what he could to survive, and growing to believe their cause, he dedicates himself and rises in the ranks until he is second in commend to the King XANA. While on patrol, he gets blind sided and awakes to a group of people around his age. With them is the vile princess that wants to take the throne away from his king. He fights and refuses to answer, but he can’t escape. So he is forced to endure as they talk, and this goes on for days, and the purple one keeps pestering him. Then they come across a village that was burned to ash.

Served them right they must have betrayed his king in some way.

Wait, why were there children still around, wouldn’t XANA have brought them in to be trained? And…were they burring adults and other children?

No, his king would never…but it was right in front of him!

It took days to reprocess and for him to think, and see that yes, these travlers were right. Even though he was still heavily conflicted, he wanted to stop him.

When they go in for the final confrontation, XANA is able to gain control over his body, he can’t stop himself!

Not until Aelita is able to kill the King.

He was free.

But what was he going to do, what was his life’s purpose now?

A hand reached to him and offered, the pur- Odd, that he has a home with them and that for now he can just live.

He likes that idea.

Code Lyoko Fantasy Au: Ulrich (17)

A noble child who was offered to be married to the chief’s daughter. He didn’t want to, he argued with his parents but they always shut him down. Sometimes going into harsh and physical punishments to get him to quiet. After all that wasn’t how a kid of his status should behave.

Not like he ased for this fucking life.

He was trapped, with no escape.

The date of the wedding was starting to near, and not being able to take it, he ran away. He’d have a better time out there then in that fucking cage called a life.

He travled and would go to villages where he’d do some odd jobs for money so he could eat and get a bed to sleep on, and inbetween he’d continue his training in the art of swordsmenship that he’s had since he was young. His only escape growing up.

During a village raid, he helps defend the village and finds an elf boy who appears to be lost after the mayhem had calmed.

He asked for directions and Ulrich is willing to show him, for a small fee, which Jermey pays because he has no other choice since he so bad at direction.

Over time, they end up actually bonding and becoming friends, and he joins Jermey on his talks with the princess, and actually wants to help stop the war.

Later on after Odd and Yumi join, Sissi somehow found him, and after her whining about him having to go back he snaps and told her to leave and how he doesn’t love her and with how she acts no one ever will.

He apologizes later on next time, as he was rather harsh. They do become friends, but she does accept that he doesn’t love her.

Ulrich ends up falling in love with Yumi.

Code Lyoko Fantasy Au: Sissi Delmas (17)

The daughter of the village chief who was betrothed to a noble’s son. Ulrich.

She was ecstatic that she was going to be married to the most handsome man in the village, and that he could only have eyes for her. No matter how much he pushed away, she knew they were meant to be. She hated anyone getting near him and would actively sabotage any relationships with him.

When she got word that he ran away from the village she made it her mission to bring him back.

After months of searching, she finds him and demands he return with her so that they can get married. He snaps and she’s completely taken aback and feels crushed when he says that he doesn't like her, never has, never will. That no one likes her for how much of a vile person she is.He and the group he was with left. Leaving her alone.

Another few weeks later she runs into them again. She couldn't return home…She’s had a long time to think about it.

He was right…She didn’t know how to be better though. She was surprised when the pink-haired girl offered her hand and a chance to be better. She accepts, and over time she does improve, and realizes that she isn’t in love with Ulrich only the idea of love. She becomes a part of the team, and for once she likes the person she is by the end of the journey.

Code Lyoko Fantasy Au: Aelita (16)

The Princess of the Kingdom of Lyoko.

Her father was killed trying to protect her from XANA, and she was captured and locked in a tower deep within Lyoko that was once her mother’s lab. During her time in isolation, she developed her skills in alchemy and magic despite being locked away.

She finally brought a communication orb to life to talk to someone in the outside world!

She was able to get into contact with an elf named Jermey. She pleaded to help her, as during her time locked away she figured out a way to kill XANA and end the war.

Once she is saved by the growing group that Jermey made, they attempt to breach into deeper enemy lines. She and her friends fight the army and are so close, only for them to be injured and pinned down. She apologizes to the others for dragging them into this.

XANA began a monologue and during that time, Aelita felt a familiar presence, her father, in spirit, came and gave her the boost she needed to finally end the tyrannical dictator!

Her home was free and friends were safe.

She didn't want to stay at the castle and wanted to keep exploring and see the world she was denied for years.

One adventure ended, but a new, and hopefully calmer one, had begun.
