It's currently 6 a.m. and I can't sleep. I have literally been up all night, so welcome to my random thoughts (again)

What do you think James' last thoughts were??

I can only imagine how betrayed he probably felt when Peter betrayed them. His, and Lily's, last thoughts were probably something along the lines of Harry at least having Sirius and Remus.. well, we know how that ended up😥 I broke my own heart when I randomly thought that James' last thoughts, besides Harry having Sirius and Remus, were, "It was Pete?" So I'm having a great time with that. James is so trusting and full of love, only to have that trust broken and that love betrayed him in the end. Can only imagine how he was when they first entered the afterlife

I have an obsession with Remus, Regulus, and Sirius rn.. but currently, my brain is thinking about Regulus.

I have so many ideas in my head for him. I should probably mention that a lot of my au ideas and headcanons come from what if questions. Like, what if Regulus had warned someone about him getting the dark mark? What if he had told someone, asking for help, only to be ignored and pushed to the side? Left to be forced to take a mark he didn't even want. Forced to deal with his brother “hating” him for something that wasn't his fault. Leaving him wondering what He could've done differently. If he had gone to Sirius first and begged for help, but ultimately decided not to because of his fear of being pushed aside.

In my au, it was Dumbledore that Regulus had gone to for help first. A man Regulus believed to be good, that would help him. Only for Dumbledore to basically tell him that there was nothing he could do or tell him to become a spy. This hit Regulus hard. The man he believed would help him out of this did nothing to help. How could he even begin to hope his own brother would listen to him if Dumbledore wouldn't? So he suffers through everything. Then, when he finds out about the Horcrux, he finally believes he'll be able to do something good and sacrifices himself for the greater good. With no one knowing what he did until years later…

Imagine how Sirius’ and Regulus’ reunion in the afterlife would go.

This is slight Dumbledore bashing.. in my mind, he always seemed to be more manipulative- but still a good character, in my opinion. Anyway. Hope you enjoyed my rambling.. my mind is weird, don't mind me 😅

Regulus is the angry type when it comes to love.

He realizes he's in love and gets angry about, as though he's scolding himself for even thinking such a thing. Especially when he realizes that it's James.

It's not just anger but also fear. Fear of what his parents, especially his mother, would think if they ever found out. Sirius had already run away by then, so he's all alone with nothing but a house elf. But that fear turns to anger.

... doesn't change the fact that he's a mean flirt. James makes his feelings known to everyone except Sirius since he values his life. Once Sirius finds out he's just in denial that his best friend likes his brother.

Idk, just random thoughts in my head.

I will forever stand by the thought of Remus having lil chubby cheeks at some point in his life if not all his life- he may be tall, but he can still lean down so some grandmother or someone can just pinch his cheeks and call him adorable. James just knowing stuff he probably shouldn't about Sirius is probably my favorite thing to think about. Someone will mention that Sirius has a birthmark or a mole somewhere on his body, and James will just be like, "Uh, no? It's on his back.. idiots"

Just full on correcting people about it. Leaving everyone to wonder how he even knows this

Okay, am I the only one who likes to imagine scenarios in their head? Especially in fandoms. For example, I've been obsessed with Harry Potter lately, specifically the Marauders. I love to imagine my ocs in the world of Harry Potter interacting with everyone and just imagining random scenarios. This also leads me to Canon x oc ships (don't judge, let my brain be happy, okay? 😅😂) but anyway.. I do that a lot.

It actually led me to think of an au where everyone lives.. cause the marauders fandom seems to thrive on pain and angst- its all amazing though. Anyway.. I doubt I'l ever post things about the au. Might just keep those in my head cause I do have canon x oc ships in it just to make my brain happy and I hate/don't want to be judged for them ;-; But yeah- welcome to my random thoughts at 1 am 😅
