JUST HAD A REALISATION(S)

1 no wonder catra and angel dust are both that relatable, that song works on both:

2 funny how this is done on mother s day knowing catra s lore

So for everyone struggling today, please know you deserve love, you re not alone and its valid❤️‍🩹🫂

3 it was soo interesting to work on hazbin hotel style, you know i like sharp linessss🤗🥹🤝🤭 but the proportion here were so new to work on💖💖

4 that the advantage of just shading with black. I can change colors underneath

5 that was totally unplanned and... wow it s actually so refreshing to draw for myself for once. Not for a last minute event. Not for someone. No due date. No expectation. Just a silly idea i wanted to try.

I know I have urgent wips (spop big bang event✨️✨️ etcc) and important hw but having cool "chillax" doodles in between helps, especially when i m blocked on the others.

At least i feel i m doing/drawing something.

Ig thats why i have sm wips all together, when i art block on one, i can still progress on another and feel productive.

If one s lineart feels too hard, there s one waiting for coloring i can do.

Oh and ofc what is rendering anwwwwww

Just what i said, it feels good to just color without overthinking shadowing for once.

And⁴⁵⁶⁷ what are backgrounds anwww?? Why was it hard finding a pic from the show with no one sitting on that throne when i know such pics exist (pls if u found them, pls send me) like i vividly remember shera s creator posimg next to it but i cant find THAT pic

Btw there s 2 cause there s one i was coloring from my head without checking catra s real color palette

I love all the Court Jester vibes incorporated in Jinx's design without them putting her in an actual jester costume.

The shoes, the striped pants, even her braids which, at least to me, are reminiscent of a cap 'n bells. The result is she has the feel of a creepy evil jester......

....... while still looking like a cool punky teenage fighter with the crop top, choker, tattoos, and belts.

For those who asks what helps with art block...

I just found out: coloring. Just coloring. Like coloriage in french.

Not only it helped me practice coloring but also super chill activity

But also² super interesting to work on another artist @lemony-bunny-main s lines and style from this close. I discovered even more details and fell in love with yr art againn

Really considerate of you to fight for fatphobia and representation and i understand the confusion: i didnt meant to draw her skinny^^

The thing is... i dont know how to draw otherwise, actually i just draw skull and the clothes over it so y can notice most my drawings re "skinny" when it s NEVER intended at all, especially coming from a feminist queer artist with ED

And i know as a art student i need to learn more variety ofc and i actually am. The first sketches were even skinnier🥲🥲 i just dont know how to add fat without making the drawing bigger u see? So if y know *how* it would help a lott

At first, Adora did not think she was real. Not only did Catra have her iconic mask off (she never took it off) but she was playing with it. It lay broken in her hands. Adora was confused by this and wondered whether this was Catra’s way of severing their connection forever. They definitely had one and, despite everything that had happened, it was still there. She then realized that Catra was not angry or resentful like she normally was. She was sad – almost regretful. Adora then summoned all her strength to ask:

“Catra? Is that you?” Catra immediately looked up, leaned over her and said:

“Yes. It’s me. I’m here.” Adora had never been more comforted in her life. She now remembered enough about what had happened to her to know that she was dying – that something on Beast Island had killed her. And yet, in her final moments, Catra, the girl who she could never hate, and who she lived to see on the battlefield, was by her side.
