Review for Into The Drowning Deep by Mira Grant
4.8 stars for me!
I am so happy that this book got recommended to me because holy shit it was amazing! The beginning was definitely on the edge of being annoyingly slow for me but it managed to keep me interested so I’m not too mad about it.
But then the rea research started and oh boy. I got invested. It only went up from this point on.
I got so extremely emotional with some scenes, not that that should surprise anyone, we all know I will cry at anything but this was different. I got super stressed at some scenes because I just had to know what was going to happen next and I am a slow reader which was ABSOLUTE TORTURE.
One thing this book definitely did do was make sure I never get on a boat or near the ocean ever again. I don’t care if its fiction it felt too real. The scientific parts were also so amazing and not too hard to understand which, yay because I am stupid.
The writing was great as far as I have heard the autism representation is great, the deaf characters too but I myself am neither of these so I cannot really speak on it.
Victoria Steward: She had a very strong backstory that I know for fact I will learn more about in the prequel, but i prefer reading those after the main books. Other than that she was super fun to read about!
Olivia Sanderson: My absolute favourite charachter in this whole book. She's awesome if I could meet her I would hug her.
Dr Jillian Toth: What an absolute queen. She added to the story a lot for me! I would have liked to hear more about her daughter because she felt a little bit thrown in.
Holly Wilson: Holly was such a strong charachter! She's so cool I love her.
Heather Wilson: My sweet, sweet baby. I absolutely loved her.
Hallie Wilson: Hallie had some really cool scenes! She was so much fun to read about

Review for Den of Vipers by K.A Knight
0.5 stars and I didn't even finish it.
I'm so sorry for what im about to say but this book triggered some serious 2015 wattpad memories I thought I made up.
I didn't. They just got put into this book. Mom come get me I need therapy.
Now, I know that a lot of people are horny but trust me when I say this book is the one cure for all of that because it's just so bad that you will never want to expiernce those feelings ever again.
Just to really set the mood for this book imagine this.
It's 2015, you are scrolling wattpad reading that juicy draco malfoy fanfic. It's getting like really spicy and hen, he pulls out his weewee and its just harry potters ass. I don't know, I don't read fanfics.
You might be thinking, Kai. What the fuck. Wat's wrong with you?
Thats exactly how I felt when I got past chaper one. I heavily regretted my choice of reading this book just like you probably regret reading my review of this book. And I apologise.
And just a small not.
KNIVES DON'T GO THERE
That's it. That's the whole review.
I hope you don't do the same thing as I do and hate read it. Seriously. Don't. You'll regret it.
I'm going to be honest. I'm not even going to try. They're all just horny and disgusting but mainly so fucking edgy and not like other boys/girls in the ahahaha quirky way.

Review for Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Only after quite a while of having finished this book did I realize that I never wrote a review. So I apologize if this isn't great, its been a little while since i read the book. I only have a rough draft.
4.8 stars
Yet another amazing book by Leigh! I was very excited to start reading this book and I loved it.
The book definitely started of slow, but not bad. I'm pretty sure this is just Leigh's writing style tho. But all in all, it didn't bother me at all because it was good. and I appreciate that.
The story progressed nicely but near the end there was barely to no build up to book two. If I did not know there was a second book then I would have been convinced it was just a stand alone book.
The characters were great but the relationships were... less than great. They could have been a lot better in my opinion. I didn't think over half of them made sense. But they didn't ruin the story at all for me.
Alina Starkov: She's ok. I'm a little sick of the main character thinks theyre ugly and useless trope but it also kinda made sense but it was still annoying. Other than that she was okay
Malyen Oretsev: Yeah no. He's a dick.
Darkling: I feel like you guys are going to judge the hell out of me for what im about to say because I have such a type. But i loved him. Hes a very morrally grey character and written pretty well. I liked it a lot
Genya Safin: I'd read the book just for Genya alone.

This book was simply amazing!
I loved reading things from Loki's perspective. It was so much fun to read about the events but from another angle so to speak. It felt like I was actually being told a story by a person sitting in front of me. And I loved that.
I was exremely excitd to read this book and it did not let me down one bit! The writing was amazing and very consistent! And the best thing, i didn't become annoying at any point.
Loki was an amazing narator for the story and the way he talked abou the other gods made me love him even more. I like it when a character simply doesn't give a shit.
The story flowed really well, it didn't really have any unexplained plot holes. The ending may hve gone a little fast for my liking, but that's my only real critique.
This book was amazing and gor me very excited for the second book, which I will be reading aswell.
I really did love this book and I hnk anyone who loves mythology (or Loki) would like this.
I will only be focussing on the main character here. There are a lot of characters but they are all told from how Loki sees them so I just want to focus on them here.
Loki: I loved Loki. He's an asshole in the best way possible. He was written very well and was an amazing narator.

review for a Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
2 stars for the good nap I took on it
DNF at 27% if you like this book, don't read this. I didn't like it and thats fine because it's just my opinion.
onto the actual review,
The only reason I got this far is because I kept telling myself "I'm sure it's just this chapter and the next will be better!"
Spoiler alert. It never did. And I wasted like a week of my life trying to read 164 pages. Usually that would take me like a day or two. But no. I really needed my very long breaks wih this book. No.
It's just book one but longer and with a steriotypical bisexual and a sexual predator but with pointy ears.
I'm actually really doing my best to find anything that I havrn't already said in book one because it really is the exact same.
So yeah this is it. I actually have nothing nice to say except that it made a great pillow when this book made me so bored that i fell asleep on it.
because I didnt write about them in book 1 I'll do it here.
Feyre: Still looking for her personality. I still hate her.
Tamlin: He reminds me of my dad and that's a very bad thing.
Luciel: Still sexy. Still the only character I like because he had a personality. Which is rare.
Rhys: No.
Mor: "I'm bisexual but I only use women for sex so I can brag about it because thats what bisexuality is right?" vibes. sincerely, a bisexual.

Review for Bunny by Mona Awad
4.5 stars
What.
I honestly have no idea what I just read and... I love it? It was so good but so damn confusing. And I loved every second of it.
That's why I'm keeping this very short. I don't think I can really put the way this book made me feel into words.
But hey it was like really good.
Also the way it was written? Amazing! Just amaing. Mona did such a good job on this book.
I seriously reccomend this if you want a ver strange, cult like story!
Samantha: I loved her. She was written so well and the way she told the story and what was happening? Uhm yes! Beautiful! It was so good and I got super inested in her!
Ava: An alternetive queen. I love it! She was a very good side character that really fitten into tho story at every single moment!
The bunnies: (I'm classifying all of the bunnies as one since ia m trying o avoid spoilers!) Where do I begin. As someone who adores bunny's and thinks calling another person bunny is super cute, they ruined it. They scared the shit out of me and I loved it. That was some amazing writting!
Jonah: My sweet, sweet boy. I felt so bad for him. He was just doing his best.

Review for A court of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J. Maas
3 stars for semi-decent world building and wasted potential
I've never been happier that a book was done before.
I have been told book 2 was amazing and I really hope it is because this was shit.
I was bored throughout the whole book and that's still being generous. I wanted to close this book at so many points and not just because it's boring also because it gets unnecessarily gross in a bad way at multiple points.
Some scenes were so cliche that I was just waiting for them to all go jumping around singing happy faerie songs in a circle and others made so little sense or were just timed horribly.
Whenever I thought it got better I was just met with more disappointment. And that disappointment was then followed by well, even more disappointment.
And I know not a lot of people will agree with me on this but Feyre was a horrible main character. She can shoot a bow and that's about where her personality ended.
But well. None of the characters had much of a personality past depression, some trauma and the big horny.
I know that so many people are obsessed with this book and honestly I don't get it. But to each their own and I'm sure not everyone would like my favourite books either and that's just personal taste.
Considering how painfully boring all of the characters were I'm not even going to go in debt about them. there were no redeeming qualities about them except for Luciel suffering from too sexy and being my type of book character. I'm sorry.

Review for The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna
Review
5 stars
I can not believe it took me so long to read this gorgeous book!
It had me hooked from page one and damn it does not let go. It just keeps getting better and better.
Almost everything was perfect but I would have liked more of a detailed description of the creatures in this book since I adore those types of things! But other than that? Simply amazing!
Oh and I cried like 31 times because I'm a massive crybaby and just had to get attached to literally every single character in the book.
But on top of all of that, I liked the plot twists. For context, I think plot twists are boring. These were far from boring and I may or may not have forgotten how to breathe at a certain point.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for some amazing high fantasy that won't let go. And of course, bonus points for feminism.
characters
Deka: The amount of times I wanted to yell at her that she was amazing through out this whole book is kinda embarasing. I fucking love Deka. She was the perfect female lead for this story!
Britta: Britta needs a hug and I am very willing to give it to her. She is so amazing and I adore her.
White Hands: Marry me. Thats all. she was written so well and her whole story line? Yes. I love her
Keita: I swear I have nothing against male characters but as usual I didn't like him in the beginning. But like near the end? Yes I want to read more.
In short: The characters were written amazingly and extrely human and I think writing women as people is sexy.

review for dear evan hansen, the novel
DNF at Chapter 23.
(Please do not read this book if you are feeling suicidal. It does not deal with it well. I included resources at the bottom of this review. Please check them out. You are loved)
I'm sure the musical is great but this book isn't.
It brushes over everything like it doesn't matter just to get back to a main character whose whole personality is a bad lie and sweaty hands.
I was so up for this at the beginning but the longer I read the more bored I got.
Nothing is taken seriously and all of the relationships feel so forced "look we have a gay character. Now buy our book" kinda feeling. And thats coming from a person whose headcanon for most characters is not straight or an amazing ally.
Stick with the musical this isnt it.

Review for Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
Review
Brick by brick, this book destroyed me.
It pulled at my heart and soul and I loved every single second of it.
It gave some amazing backstory to Jesper, who I really didn’t like in book one, made me fall in love with Matthias. It was a wild, amazing ride.
I cried my way through the ending and even debated if I should finish it because I did not want this to end.
The writing is so damn good and really pulled me in, it made me feel all of the emotions I have ever had at once.
And the way mental illness is dealt with in the books is just so beautiful. It’s not something horrible to be hidden away, its portrayed as something real and it really hurt me to see the crew so hurt.
I also loved seeing their relationships grow throughout the whole book, the way Kaz schemed, the fights. Everything was just perfect. And I will forever be grateful that I read this amazing duology.
I cant wait to read more from Leigh.
Characters
Kaz: The fucking bastard. I love him. he only got better and THAT BACKSTORY. Ugh it was truly amazing and it only made me love him even more.
Inej: My sweet, sweet baby that really needs a good, long hug. I adored her chapters, her fightscenes, everything. Inej is perfect thats it. that's all I have to say.
Nina: Absolute queen. Yes. Love. Amazing. Still my favourite.
Jesper: My favourite distaster bisexual. After learning his backstory I fell in love with Jesper.
Wylan: Wylan deserves the world and I want to read him a bedtime story.
Matthias: Big himbo energy. I really loved Matthias. I know last book I couldn't care less about him but now I love him.
Kuwei: I like Kuwei. he had some amazing character development. And thats all I'm saying.

Review for The queen of nothing by Holly black
5 stars
My poor heart is suffering.
This book was really the perfect ending. I laughed, I cried but most importantly, I fell in love with this whole damn book.
It's such a ridiculously good series and the way it's written, the way the characters are described, the worldbuilding? Simply amazing!
Every single world felt like it really added to the whole story.
I do admit that reading the last few chapters was hard, but for all the right reasons.
I was crying my way through, not wanting it to end. But when it did it was amazing!
This is high on my recommended list and I can't wait to read more from Holly!
