If I'm describing anyone reading this, please examine your own internalized misogyny.

I've decided to start doing a question and answer thing, because I get a lot of questions.

Q: Why is it hard for me to accept that there is competition in dating and that not everyone on this World will find a quality partner?

A: Because you haven't realized the secret to coming out on top:

Focus inward.

If you think that people who have a firm grasp on and wide knowledge of science are cool, expand your scientific knowledge.

If you think people who are funny are cool, develop your sense of humor based on what you think is funny.

If you think it's amazing when people can speak more than one language, learn a new language.

Think about the qualities you really admire in others. Do your best to build those qualities in yourself.

Distract yourself from the fact that you're not in a relationship, by making yourself into someone you think is pretty fuckin great. Then, someday, you'll bump into someone who will see how much you have to offer, really really dig it, and you'll like yourself enough to have the confidence to go for it.

Then BOOM! Relationship.

To get your mind off the misery NOW, think of the person you want to be down the road. Build that person.
