Draco found relief in the solitude. His posture relaxed as he walked through the very same halls in which he’d grown up, past the kitchen, the dining room, the drawing room— Something caught his attention from the corner of his eye: a wild mane of hair, untamable as the person whose head it was attached to. Draco froze in place. He could recognise that hair anywhere. It was Hermione Granger, in the drawing room, with a near-empty glass of wine. Hardly a mystery.
