let's go for a walk.

Inspired by an instagram edit i randomly found while scrolling and thought it was cute! It made me feel safe. It made me feel like i was home (mark) and it made me feel like i was him <3 #delusionalczennie haha

You've been reminding Mark to toss the piled rubbish out, but because he's a careless person, of course, he forgot until today. The front door made a beeping sound when he did so. His shadow suddenly appeared over you as you were preoccupied with the television. halting your performance to take notice of his shadow.

He asked you, "Babe, should we go for a walk?" with excitement. You only responded by humming. He repeated, "Do you want to go for a walk?" Knowing full well that you were preoccupied with who knows what.

It was a cold wintery day, so you knew you needed to put on those clunky boots and your long padded jacket; you're usually cold. Mark zips up your unzipped jacket, giving you the appearance of a penguin.

"You ready, babe?" he asks, taking your hand in his and making sure to turn off all lights except the fairy lights so it's not too dark when you guys get home. As soon as you entered the lobby, he informed you that it would be freezing outside.

You said, leaping up and down, squeezing his gloveless hand, "Dude, it's so cold!" You didn't realize how cold it would be outside because you worked from home today and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows by the fireplace you both finally put together (actually, none of us did, the fireplace people put it together, we don't have the skills, sorry).

"Oiiiiii, it's cold babeeeeeee!!!" and Mark's never-ending "it's cold" and yet you're both still cold, refusing to go back home and warm up with hot chocolate and a hot pack.

"Wowowow," the cheetah-like man said as you twirled about, attempting to raise your body temperature. As a result of the cold, he made some strange noises. I mean, he requested a walk. During the winter. That's exactly what you get.

When the wind blows, Mark immediately zips up his jacket and doesn't want the cold wind to penetrate under his light jacket. He props the camera on selfie mode, trying to take pictures of both of you when the wind ends up making an appearance aka your hair flying to places which wasn't the aesthetic you were going for but we get the gist. you've taken a mental note to print them and frame them as memoirs of the cold weather.

“It’s cold, it’s so cold~~~” he was vlogging and twirling around at the same time, it was your tradition vlogging these little moments then compiling them to be posted to your private youtube channel where your family members and friends could enjoy your chaotic yet calm daily lives. (the camera shaked more than your booty// bye im sorry)

After an hour in the cold, you decided it was time to go home because baby cheetah (mark) was tired and sleepy and hungry. You chuckled looking at his tired expression but you were glad he asked you out. No matter how cold it was, you’re always warm with him <3

—ahhhh i'm back!!!!!!!!!! the fact that i have so many unfinished drafts is making me sad T.T but it's okay, good things take time!!! and i've been super busy :(!!!

i love writing and i try not to feel this way, i really do, but the lack of feedback is extremely discouraging and i feel like i am writing for ghosts. it’s sad because this is why a lot of writers lose motivation, this is why i stopped writing for a long time - because of this exact reason. i don’t think i will continue writing, but i hope that when you read other authors works, you leave feedback - even a little “i really liked this/i enjoyed this!” can make them keep writing and make their day. giving writers tangible compliments means so fucking and it makes them happy. please remember that.

It’s almost midnight. I don’t want to be alone. I don’t want to be left alone again. It hurts like crazy. Why can’t I just have someone with me whenever nightmares come or whenever I need cuddles? I often question why it was hard for them to stay. Was I not enough? Was I too weird? Was I too clingy? I never seem to find an answer to my questions as they linger around me every single minute of the day. Every time they left, the other side of the bed would always feel cold.

I’ve always imagined the other side would be warm just like sunshines and laundry being hung outside in the sun in the countryside with flowers swaying right and left. They always leave before the morning comes. This is what my life looks like. Everyone leaves, no one ever stays and I’ve learned that it’s the best for my fragile heart. When will I ever stop feeling like this? I just want to be cared for. Why is it that I always have to put in some effort? Why is it that I’m always the one giving? Why am I not receiving anything? At least a little bit of love and care, that’s all I ask for. It’s not much, but it’s so hard.

But he’s different. He didn’t leave. Jaehyun didn’t leave before the sun rose. He stayed with me. I woke up feeling the other side of the bed warm just how I described it. In fact, he had breakfast with me. He had breakfast with me. It took me a while to accept that for once, someone is staying. Someone is staying for me. They made an effort for me. They’re giving me something. I’m receiving something. For once, I’m on the receiving end. I couldn’t help but smile and keep my sobs in.

But it was too soon for me to believe that this would be permanent. What if he’s staying out of habit? What if he’s staying because he felt pity towards me? What if he’s staying because he felt the need to? Not that he wanted to but he felt as if he was forced to? I didn’t want Jaehyun to feel that way. I didn’t want him to feel like he had to stay. He had to stay out of pity. But then again, people said “if he wanted to, he would.” And at that moment, a light bulb appeared. It doesn’t matter if he was ‘forced’ to stay or not, what matters is that he’s still here. With that, I shall make the most out of it.

“Just do it. Go for it.” I said to myself. “Don’t think about what comes after or what came before.” Here goes nothing. I tried opening my mouth, still hesitating to say those words that I long for. Jaehyun noticed how hesitant I was and he knew that I wanted to say something. This is the time, right now, just say it– I kept telling myself. You got this, I whispered to myself like a mantra.

Inhale… exhale… you got this. We both started to talk at the same time that made us burst into a fit of laughter. It looks like a lover’s laugh. Except we weren't lovers. He let me speak my mind first as a gentleman he is and-

“Would you like to have a homemade lunch with me?”, I softly inquired of him while looking down on the palms of my hands. Without a doubt, he immediately chimed a loud yes. Well, scratch that, he said yes, so loud that my home phone rang, signalling the lobby’s call to inform me of my ‘loudness’.

I was glad I went out of my comfort zone. I should speak up whenever something’s bothering me or when I want my opinions to be heard. I told Jaehyun that he didn’t need to help me chop the vegetables, but he insisted so I just let him do whatever he wants. It felt amazing. Being with someone. He’s so sweet for always helping out. It felt so domestic.

As I placed the last dish on the table, he whipped out his phone then took a flat lay of the dishes we created for lunch. My lips curved upon seeing his action. The lunch ended on a good note and we were able to talk about everything. It feels like fate. It feels like destiny.

We never know what will happen in the future but at least we tried our best. Just hope for the best.

I’m finally back after so long?? I’ve been so sick :/ + i had other things going on. I miss writing so much….like my drafts keep piling up. No promises because I’m taking things slow. Every time I come across a good work, I start beating myself up and telling myself “see, if you wrote something, at least a sentence, it can become like this” and honestly it upsets me. So I’m doing things at my own pace—though I disappoint myself when I make a deadline but who am I kidding :$

After countless arguments and all, I finally got the chance to persuade the love of my life whom i love so much, Kim Mingyu, to go on a short vacation with me to London. Please tell me why it’s hard to persuade a grown man to spend time with his partner? Never mind that, at least I persuaded him now. It was a chilly morning.

I woke up and had my morning stretch, looking beside me, sleepy mingyu with bed hair and all those drool. I smiled looking at his sleeping figure. He finally gave in to my pleads and listened to my nagging. He looks peaceful when he’s sleeping and he definitely deserves a rest after his busy schedules. As I made my way to the kitchen, I saw the leafless trees all cold on a winter morning.

A walk is nice, I thought. You see, I'm a fan of the cold, even though I often get cold. Mingyu would always be the one holding my hands to keep them warm. It never fails to make me feel all giddy on the inside. I always felt like a teenager in love. He would often scold me if i were to go outside in the cold without my gloves or purposely leave my gloves because let’s be real, gloves are such a hassle! I just want to feel the cold ‘naturally’. No gloves? No worries, mingyu the glove is there to help me.

I made myself some nutella toast and tea– a great way to start the day and sat at the window, admiring the scenery in front of me. Mingyu woke up in a cold bed. As usual, you would wake up earlier than him despite the jet lag. He got his camera ready just in case he wants candid photos of you. And he saw you, by the window. For him, it was the best view of the entire world and without a notice, a smile crept onto his lips.

He turned on his camera and Snap! Snap! Snap! Candid photos of you were taken. It turned out pretty well and you didn’t even notice it. He decided to surprise you with a hug. A warm hug. The one that always made you feel loved and protected. The best hug in the world. Huggies from mingyu.

The weather was less cold than in the morning so we both decided to go out and just enjoy cold London. He was clad in a long navy blue coat and he chose to wear a t-shirt underneath it (what a crazy man!) (but he’s my crazy man) paired with black pants along with a black beanie (to cover his bad hair day). Not forgetting his glasses because we’re skipping contacts. Also not leaving his prized possession, his camera that is filled with memories and mostly me. I chose to go for a light colored outfit compared to his ‘gothic’ vibes. I am not crazy, so I wore a knitted sweater underneath my coat.

We decided to stroll around the neighborhood, meeting a few neighbors along the way and catching up with them. It was a lovely day. It felt nice to be away from all the stress and just relax. We saw a local cafe on our way to the park; I got hot cocoa and the coffee lover got coffee. It tasted so good. This cafe would definitely be our go-to. While strolling, i found pretty landmarks and asked mingyu to pose. I took a photo of him looking away and holding his coffee cup in hand. He looks huggable and soon after that, i engulfed him in a hug.

So before moving on to the post I want to thank @heartj4yn0 for giving me a chance to do a collab for the first time, it really helped my experience, thank you for the help and support!

You were really grateful to have Jaemin with you.

It had been just a year since you had moved in with Jaemin, your boyfriend of five years. You never regretted the decision, you really loved Jaemin, and he loved you too. Even though Jaemin did say the words “I love you” to you quite often, there was another way he would confess his love to you, without saying the words.

Most people who knew Jaemin, knew that he was an incredibly thoughtful guy, god, he was an absolute sweetheart, as sweet as sugar. He was, of course, no different with you. He never failed to cheer you up, and on, and he always made you feel special, and supported you wholeheartedly, in everything you did.

Your mornings with Jaemin started with a compliment from him. It didn't matter to Jaemin whether you had just woken up, your face swollen and hair messy, you looked beautiful to him anyways, and he never forgot to tell you that, knowing that you were a quite insecure person. “Good morning love, you look beautiful as usual.” A smile would paint your features at that moment, and he would love it.

When you spent nights studying for an important interview, Jaemin stayed up with you, even though you told him not to, he didn't listen, and refilled your coffee, sometimes muttering encouraging words into your ears accompanied by a kiss on the cheek and encouraging head pats. “You're working so hard, you're doing so good.” He would sometimes massaging your shoulders, and stay as quiet as possible, and the next day you would wake up on the bed, Jaemin sleeping beside you.

Jaemin always took care of you when you were sick, or going through your menstruation cramps, making you meals in bed, giving you massages, never forgetting the medicine doses, and accompanying you no matter how sick you were. It was almost like taking care of you was his hobby.

Out on a date with him, he would always think you looked like a dream, you were so pretty, inside and out, and he would flatter you with compliments. Something about you, made Jaemin fall for you more each time he saw you, he couldn't help but praise you, and compliment you.

And he knew you absolutely loved the occasional head pats and praises he randomly gave you throughout the day. When you would be cooking in the kitchen, he would creep up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, and he would say, “Are you cooking something? Smells delicious, honey.” and when you would stay up too late working, he would softly come over and place a kiss on your cheek, convincing you to go to sleep, “You've done enough today baby, you need some sleep now.” Somehow his sweet-as-sugar praises always made you obey him, and he never failed to give you butterflies, and made you feel valued and loved.

And that was how you realised, that the words “I love you” weren't always necessary for confessing love, because you knew that your boyfriend loved you, just by his sweet praises.

“before 16:30.” he said as he ended the call with a light goodbye.

i couldn’t stop screaming my lungs out. i was that happy.

i started pacing back and forth, looking at the clock with anxious eyes. waiting for the time. they say the clock won’t move even if you stare at it for a long time. then i just stopped. i couldn’t move or speak. many thoughts raced in my mind. will the meeting go on smoothly? will i look good? will he like the real me?

which step should i make first? i’m confused.

before 16:30 pm, i recited to myself like a mantra. as if i was supposed to be asked about the time he wants to meet up in an examination hall. by now, i’ve memorized the time. he’s on my brain. hhe effect he had on me. i can’t even believe myself. four-thirty pm. four-thirty pm. four-thirty pm. i probably look like an idiot. but who cares? i was about to meet him. the jeong jaehyun i’ve been talking to for weeks. i mean..who asked him to be so powerful? isn’t that why i fell in love with him though? who knows? certainly not me, ask the universe.

my plan is to take jaehyun’s breath away. amaze him with my looks, words, my laughs and smile. that should be an easy task…right? or maybe not. we’ll see.

i then started mentally taking down notes from my to do list as i racked my brain to find my to do list sheet. the pen ink just had to run out as i was about to write my first item on the list. i quickly scrambled my desk to find a pen with ink. putting multiple exclamation marks for the important things– as i’m known to be a clumsy person.

to do list before 16:30 pm:

☐brush your teeth– your breath needs to smell good!

☐look presentable!

☐spray your lucky perfume!

☐eat those yummy scented gummies– you will feel better!

stop. stop looking at the clock! it’s still half past three. i still had 60 minutes left. i’m so nervous. my hands can’t stop shaking. the day is here. it’s finally here. after so many months of planning and rescheduling due to our busy schedules, we could finally make it. i can't wait to see him today. it’s been so long since i've seen him. is this what love feels like?

okay, don’t worry. i’ve set my timer. i just need to look good, mostly presentable. not going out with these jammies on me. who goes out on a date wearing pink pajama pants? no one does. it’s now time to cross out the things on my to do list asap. like seriously asap.

to do list before 16:30 pm:

you look lovely, jaehyun said. it was such a cliché line from the movies, but it still made my heart flutter. god, even the butterflies tried escaping! he said that he wanted to take me to somewhere rich and fancy, but i told him “it was okay, let’s go to my favorite cafe, instead”. it felt so natural. it felt normal. he told me that he couldn’t wait to see me. he was waiting for this day to arrive.

i could sense he was nervous as well. so i sighed in relief– i wasn’t the only nervous one here. i noticed that his leg wouldn’t stop shaking underneath the table, it made me chuckle. little did i know that he caught me chuckling. he smiled at my action.

he complimented me nonstop. it made me feel all giddy. it felt like i was a teenager getting a love confession from my one-sided crush which later turned out to be both-sided. jaehyun took me to the park and we talked and talked and talked. there were so many things to catch up on. we both updated each other on our lives. i couldn’t stop gushing over him.

before we even realized, it was time to go. i could start counting the stars, a sign that it was already dark. a goodnight separated us. i left him with those five little words that were enough to catch him off guard.

“can’t wait for next time.” I said with a sweet smile that caught many eyes of others.

i started pacing back and forth, looking at the clock with anxious eyes. waiting for the time. they say the clock won’t move even if you stare at it for a long time. then i just stopped. i couldn’t move or speak. many thoughts raced in my mind. will the meeting go on smoothly? will i look good? will he like the real me?

which step should i make first? i’m confused.

before 16:30 pm, i recited to myself like a mantra. as if i was supposed to be asked about the time he wants to meet up in an examination hall. by now, i’ve memorized the time. he’s on my brain. hhe effect he had on me. i can’t even believe myself. four-thirty pm. four-thirty pm. four-thirty pm. i probably look like an idiot. but who cares? i was about to meet him. the jeong jaehyun i’ve been talking to for weeks. i mean..who asked him to be so powerful? isn’t that why i fell in love with him though? who knows? certainly not me, ask the universe.

my plan is to take jaehyun’s breath away. amaze him with my looks, words, my laughs and smile. that should be an easy task…right? or maybe not. we’ll see.

i then started mentally taking down notes from my to do list as i racked my brain to find my to do list sheet. the pen ink just had to run out as i was about to write my first item on the list. i quickly scrambled my desk to find a pen with ink. putting multiple exclamation marks for the important things– as i’m known to be a clumsy person.

to do list before 16:30 pm:

stop. stop looking at the clock! it’s still half past three. i still had 60 minutes left. i’m so nervous. my hands can’t stop shaking. the day is here. it’s finally here. after so many months of planning and rescheduling due to our busy schedules, we could finally make it. i can't wait to see him today. it’s been so long since i've seen him. is this what love feels like?

okay, don’t worry. i’ve set my timer. i just need to look good, mostly presentable. not going out with these jammies on me. who goes out on a date wearing pink pajama pants? no one does. it’s now time to cross out the things on my to do list asap. like seriously asap.

you look lovely, jaehyun said. it was such a cliché line from the movies, but it still made my heart flutter. god, even the butterflies tried escaping! he said that he wanted to take me to somewhere rich and fancy, but i told him “it was okay, let’s go to my favorite cafe, instead”. it felt so natural. it felt normal. he told me that he couldn’t wait to see me. he was waiting for this day to arrive.

i could sense he was nervous as well. so i sighed in relief– i wasn’t the only nervous one here. i noticed that his leg wouldn’t stop shaking underneath the table, it made me chuckle. little did i know that he caught me chuckling. he smiled at my action.

he complimented me nonstop. it made me feel all giddy. it felt like i was a teenager getting a love confession from my one-sided crush which later turned out to be both-sided. jaehyun took me to the park and we talked and talked and talked. there were so many things to catch up on. we both updated each other on our lives. i couldn’t stop gushing over him.

before we even realized, it was time to go. i could start counting the stars, a sign that it was already dark. a goodnight separated us. i left him with those five little words that were enough to catch him off guard.

“can’t wait for next time.” I said with a sweet smile that caught many eyes of others.

(18:38pm) jaehyun takes your hands in his, pulling you along to run with him in the cold snowy weather. it was dark outside, the perfect time for us lovers to have fun. thinking back, you wished you had brought some molds to mold the snow. i could’ve made snow hearts! your thoughts were disrupted by your lover’s movements. the said male started drawing in the snow with his air jordans. curiously, you looked at the said drawing on his air jordans snow smiley face. snow angel, much?

he took a photo of it and posted it on his instagram @_jeongjaehyun. the post made its way to 2 million likes, but the fans didn’t have to know that you were with him during the event.

he then made his way to the other places to create more smiley faces. you quickly went and snagged a quick photo of it for your own memories. you weren’t aware, but he took many candid photos of you and even made a mental note to ask jaemin to create something special for you. he’s definitely making that specific photo his phone’s lock screen. while you were busy drawing on the snow, he snapped an unready selfie with you. you pouted at the sudden intrusion. this caused you to smack his arm, earning a hiss.

“awe, sorry babe, let’s take another one?” he suggested playfully just to tease you. he ran away from you making you chase him around like high school kids, young and in love. thank god no one else was there to witness such a crazy scene.

feeling tired after all that running, he intertwined your hands with him and you both made your way to the convenience store. you got yourself a kimchi onigiri and binggrae banana flavored milk while jaehyun opted for shin ramen and iced peach tea. as you were both situated in the dining area, snow started falling. it felt magical. it felt surreal. you were speechless. being with the love of your life on a snowy night is just beyond words. as you both walked home, he put your hands in his pockets, emitting warmth from the shared body heat. your heart felt warm, your smile widened. he looked at your happy face and thanked the universe.

Sleepy baby

It was dawn. If you were at home, you’d definitely be sleeping under the comfort of your soft bedsheets and your husband’s arm draped on your waist. But you were at Johnny’s new crib for a barbeque. The barbeque lasted longer than planned. That’s what happens when you’re with friends. Time flies by so fast. Unexpectedly, Jaehyun became too sleepy today like never before.

It was hard to drag him out of Johnny’s house due to the weight difference. But with the help of Johnny, Jungwoo and Mark, you were able to safely bring him to the car and safely buckle him up. He kept slurring nonsense signalling his tiredness. We should’ve left earlier, you sighed, I don’t want to take care of a giant sleepy baby! The three males waved to you as you took off and drove back to your home.

Finally, home sweet home. You tried your best to get him to the front door without any help. You wanted to yell at him for not cooperating with you, but you held yourself back. Plop! You dropped the giant sleeping baby on the couch, you couldn’t bring him all the way to the master bedroom. Jaehyun kept tossing and turning for god knows how long. The tossing and turning stopped when he suddenly opened his mouth to say something–

“Omg you’re so beautiful!” he sleepily giggled, “You look like my type!”

“Of course I'm your type! I’m your wife. Didn’t you know that?” you obviously stated to your sleeping husband who was definitely unconscious.

“Oh wow! I definitely scored in life. Need to tell the guys about this tomorrow.” and off he goes back to dreamland. You smiled at his sleepy confession. It made you feel so warm and giddy on the inside. I definitely scored in life as well. Taking your skin care products from the bathroom and a clean change of clothes, you came back to the living room to clean your sleeping husband.

You started wiping his plumped skin with micellar water, then slowly patted his face with some toner. Followed along with eye cream and moisturiser. Not forgetting lip balm, but before that, you gave him a light peck on the lips.

Feeling drowsy, you brought yourself to the bedroom and covered yourself in the fluffy blanket. Both of you were in dreamland, dreaming of the future. Both of your lips curved into a wide smile.

Sweet dreams.
