Be a hero for animals with this 2023 is a year of the Water Rabbit. The sign of Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope.
Rabbits are frequent victims of animal experimenters because they are mild-tempered and easy to handle, confine, and breed—more than 161,000 of them are abused in U.S. laboratories every year.
Despite the availability of more modern, humane, and effective alternatives, rabbits are still tormented in the notorious Draize eye irritancy test, in which substances such as personal care products, household cleaning products, and their ingredients are applied to their eyes often causing redness, swelling, discharge, ulceration, hemorrhaging, cloudiness, or blindness.
The rabbits are killed after the experiment is over. And even though internationally accepted non-animal methods exist, in skin corrosion tests, rabbits’ backs are shaved and corrosive chemicals are applied to their raw skin and left there for up to two weeks. These chemicals often burn the skin, leading to tissue damage. Rabbits are also given no pain relief during this excruciatingly painful test, and after the test is finished, they are killed.

Do you know how some people simply know how to wear the right clothes?
There’s no mystery there, and actually, you could pull it off, too, by just thinking about what you’re wearing a little bit more.
It all depends on how your body is built – you should tend to accent your features in the right way.
For example, wearing a V neck will make your torso look longer, and wearing nude vegan pumps will do miracles for the length of your legs. Embrace your shape and learn to love all its imperfections.

Contrary to popular belief, eating a whole food plant-based diet is not expensive. The myth that eating a plant-based diet is expensive derives from the fact that consuming processed versions of vegan foods, such as vegan brats, vegan burgers, and vegan can be very expensive. However, eating whole foods such as oats, beans, rice, in-season vegetables, and fruits is extremely affordable and can save you so much money.
Is vegan food more expensive?

Versatile and surprisingly cheap, jackfruit is a non-processed ingredient that you’ll often find in cans, meaning you can stock up in the cupboard. It makes a great replacement for chicken, perhaps in a stir-fry, but can also be prepared to resemble tuna. Unique dishes like jackfruit tacos, gyros, and even crab cakes can also be made from it.
