Greek Mythology PSA

As much as I love Achilles and Patroclus from TSOA: Achilles is NOT someone to idolize.

The story of Troilus was an extreme reason: when he turned 20, he would supposedly touch the wall of Troy and it would save this. Athena told Achilles this and he went to ambushed Troilus by the well, in fact pulling him by the hair off his horse.

But Troilus was extremely beautiful- so much so that he was said to be the child of Apollo. Achilles was overcome with lust and tried to make advances.

Troilus escaped his grasp and ran to his fathers temple for shelter. There Achilles caught him again, had his way, and beheaded him.

ACHILLES WAS A GROWN MAN AND TROILUS WAS SAID TO BE A CHILD, MOST SPECULATED TO BE AROUND 12.

Was he a great warrior? Yeah. Was he a murder, r**ist, and p3do? Also yes.

Why are there so little stories about Apollo and Hyacinthus?

I dreamt of a rad computer game called Transformers: the Market. You played as Megatron or Optimus who were both running a vegetable farm together. We had to do tasks and then sell our products on the weekends. There were many cat npcs to talk to as well

Just an old one shot I wrote a long time ago.

*𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦* 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 *𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭* 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳

"Hey OP!" You said tiredly as you climbed into his alt-form, throwing your bookbag onto the driver's seat. 

"Hello, Y/N," Optimus greeted, pulling out of the parking lot. "How was school?"

You sighed. "Ok, I guess. I have a bunch of homework."

You lean back in the seat, trying to get comfortable. "Can we go for a little drive? I want to clear my head."

"We should get back to base. I have other duties to attend to, and you have schoolwork to complete."

"Pleaseeee," you whine. "We haven't been on a drive in forever, with you having to go fight the cons all the time."

The Autobot leader was silent for a few moments. "Very well, but later, I swear upon the Allspark."

You grin happily. "Thank you!"

[Time Skip- that evening]

You run up to Optimus, knocking the metal plating on his leg. "Can we go on the drive now?"

He looked down at you and nodded. "Very well. I promised, after all."

A few seconds later, a truck sat in front of you, its passenger door open. You jump in, securing the seatbelt over you. 

"Where would you like to go?" he asks.  

"I don't know. I thought maybe we could drive along the roads for a bit."

Optimus drove out of the base, and down a long, winding road. You hit a button a radio, 'Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede', coming on. 

"I can't stop this feeling, Deep inside of me, Girl, you just don't realize, What you do to me" you belt out. 

"When you hold me

In your arms so tight

You let me know

Everything's alright

I'm hooked on a feeling

I'm high on believing

That you're in love with meeee!"

A deep rumbling echoes through the truck cabin. It takes you a few seconds to realize it was Optimus laughing. "Hey! What are you laughing at?!"

"Apologies Y/N."

You smile and rest your head against the headrest of the seat. "Nah, it's fine."

You sing the rest of the song, and Optimus starts laughing again. You didn't care. His laughter was better than the song playing on the radio after all.
