Bro I was just complaining about seeing it I hate seeing any x readers at all Loki x reader Deadpool x reader you name it I just hate x readers in general I hate how they show the characters as overly fan versions not the Cannon versions or even trying to be like the character. I mostly just hate the smut x readers... i hate reading sexual stuff. And sometimes they do make it like the character which I like I seen a bakugou x reader a couple of years back that made his personality seem so real I think it was on AO3 . I seen a x reader on here of Dabi that was actually not bad was extremely fannon but not bad? Ngl it was cute, Didn't traumatized me at all. I don't like reading x readers though still. And I seen x readers about worse then Dabi it just fucking makes me cringe a lot. I don't know I probably am traumatized from when I used to make shitty x readers a few years ago. I only like seeing fanfictions with all cannon characters now and days anyway. I tried to black list a lot of x reader tags but I still see x readers....

do x reader writers know how hated they are by a majority of tumblr users. like i honestly wouldnt even care that much if they could all 1. use a read more. a basic function of the site. and 2. tag their posts with just "#x reader" thats it. no character. please. god please i just want to blacklist these without blocking you but you make it so hard

How did you find tumblr?

I really enjoy talking with tumblr users so I thought I'd try posting more prompts to get some conversations started.

I was in a nostalgic mood this week and was trying to remember how I first came to tumblr. It got me thinking that it would be cool to learn other's origin stories. I'll go first.

Even though I'm a big nerd who loves Star Trek (DS9 4 life) and Anime (Fairy Tail forever) it was WordPress that brought me to tumblr. Back in 2010 while in college I worked part time for a WordPress theme shop called Obox Themes. They were looking for new markets and decided that tumblr themes would be a good area to get into. I fell in love with how easy it was to modify my digital home and how there was a whole community of people hacking and releasing themes. Creating a WordPress theme from scratch would have been impossible with my skillset then but with tumblr I could do anything with my handy CSS guide and a few energy drinks.

Over the years what kept bringing me back was the themes. They were funky, weird and sometimes a little broken but who cares. It seemed like the entire web was trying to be grown up but tumblr was Toys R Us, they said it’s ok to be a kid. I loved that. Whenever I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere else I’d come back to tumblr and make a new theme (https://www.tumblr.com/themes/by/nick). I use to love clicking on the installs and seeing what kind of fun folks were using my stuff. What kind of people liked the weird stuff I did. It's your turn. What brought you to tumblr?

I'm seeing a lot of people (not just one or two) express disappointment about the Twice and Hawks lack of confrontation. I want to just say, in all seriousness, there's something being ignored here and it has a lot to do with people not understanding Twice and why, even if it would do a lot for Keigo's character development, it wouldn't be good for what and who Twice was and meant in the narrative. Even aside from the clones essentially not being Twice, I think people are not realizing the war arc has been the villains' Bad End in so many ways. That there was a lot of dramatic irony in how they ended up and that included Twice.

In a sense, throughout the war arc, none of this has been Jin, and that's good because even the idea of there being any Twice sentience among would remind me of this:

The idea of Jin not being an original would have sent him into a mental breakdown.

So, just the idea of Twice being used like this - with no original, no concrete way to himself, there's a horror aspect to this. In Toga's grief (righteous and needed as it is because SOMEONE needs to mourn Jin), she has also created Jin's Greatest Nightmare. Any closure from this wouldn't have been "real". Or it would have been just Keigo reconciling with what he's done, which is still on its way, but would be very one-sided. There's no Twice there to really tell Keigo off. I understand where everyone is coming from, but there's a lop-sided interest in Keigo facing consequences (which he has and will continue to), but little understanding or care that this isn't what Jin would have wanted. Jin wanted to be himself, and trusted, and surrounded by the people he loved and lived for. Jin feared not being the real original clone. Would have there been a real good narrative reason to use what would have been Jin's greatest fear to propel Keigo to self-actualization? Jin and Hawks represent the first attempt at saving a villain, a league member, in this manga, and Hawks failed. And he needs to come to terms with that by himself.
