in Jules sniper’s view, Nile and Luke show him a thing they are requested to get.

they were about to complete the mission but all of them were arrested by the opponent.

after that, Jules is held as a hostage while Luke and Nile are forced to tell who sent them here.

whether they tell or not. the result is the same. (if their authority is revealed, they end up being killed.)

Jules is about to get shot in his head. ‘in another life, hope you would let me be your friend’ says Jules.

the reason behind that phrase is he seriously think and believe that Luke don’t like him and see him as a friend. in the past, they didn’t get along well because of the difference of their personality. Luke always acted like Jules’s annoying being himself. in contrast, the truth is Jules is naive and Luke is always angry about that because he cares. sadly, Luke’s expression leads to huge misunderstanding.

p.s. II. started all of this because of the phrase ‘in another life’. i personally love it especially ‘see you in another life’. for me, it’s like the relationship is so precious that it’s not enough to be together in just one life.

p.s. III. me right now really want to bring this story to life but i can’t draw everything due to my art skill lmao so i do separate panels and write the story here instead (my english skill also isn’t that good to write proper and beautiful dialogues) but i promise i will try my best to improve to the point i can create a serious web comic or a novel using my own artwork as an illustration.
