best low cal foods! tw
if you’re craving food but you dont want to consume loads of calories, here are some of the best foods to eat ~
- yumyum noodles!
these noodles are very filling and they’re around 73-76 calories per 100 grams. one package is only 60 grams so thats around 44-47 calories per package.
lowest calorie flavors: duck and curry
- oatmeal porridge {havermoutpap}!
when im visiting my family in the netherlands i make sure i always stack up on this stuff.
its basically already made oatmeal porridge. its only 75 calories per 100 ml. its way less then homemade porridge. that’s normally around 200-300 calories per 100 ml.
i always eat the one from melkunie, its pretty filling and, as i said, low in calories.
- grapes!
i think we all know about this one, grapes are not the best in filling you up tbh but its a great snack with low calories.
its around 70-80 calories per 100 grams.
- cucumber!
oh my, im in love with cucumber. they actually fill me up pretty good for something that’s mostly water. they’re around 13 calories per 100 grams!
- bell pepper!
great snack with low calorie intake, only 31 per bell pepper. you can also get snack size or fun size bell peppers.
- snack a jacks, rice cakes!
there are multiple flavors and they’re only around 31-67 calories per rice cake.
my favorite ones are the multigrain rice cakes: (31 calories per cake)
the bbq paprika flavored (37 calories per cake) and the cheese flavored (38 calories per cake) are also really good and low in calories.
- plain rice cakes!
this one is pretty common around the ed community, so i think you already know about this one but i had to include it.
plain rice crackers are low in calorie, they’re not very filling tho so i actually don’t eat them often because they’re a binge trigger for me.
the calories can differ from where you buy the cakes. mine are around 38 calories per cake.
i like the snack a jacks more because they taste better and some of them are lower in calories.
- cottage cheese!
all those vegetables, fruits and crackers can pretty boring to eat sometimes so cottage cheese is good to eat with them. its 90-95 calories per 100 grams. it may not look great but its pretty good.
