Not Cassandra Clare announcing that the last book in the Shadowhunter Chronicles was going to be called "The Last Shadowhunter"
What does that mean? Why would she do this to us?

I think that after Simon reads Jace’s scathing review of his hair that Jace sent to all the institutes, he goes and buys a box of blond hair dye, opens it, takes a picture of it in a trashcan in the New York institute, and sends the picture to all the institutes with no further context.

Just want to make sure that as a fandom we are not recognizing Christopher’s death, right? Like it didn’t happen and there will be epilogue re-writes with him included? Just want to make sure we are all on the same page....

Final Chain of Thorns Predictions and Guesses
I have made many guesses about Chain of Thorns. I do not have my book yet, it comes tomorrow. These are the things I think will be true:
James and Cordelia get back together
Thomas and Alastair get together
Alastair and Cordelia’s mother dies
Will says something funny
Mathew becomes a Vampire
Angsty parabatai scene between Mathew and James
Parabatai arc overlooked for Cordelia and Lucie, not mentioned at all.
Cordelia has an awesome fight scene
We get to see what the Paris Institute is like
Some french words are in there
We will see how many are right tomorrow. I can not wait

I feel like Percy and Annabeth would live in New Rome for a semester and then immediately transfer to a New York college. They would live in California for a few months and then realize that they like New York City. Also going with this letters of recommendation nonsense, I think that New Rome would pull something else like that on them and then they would just go back to CHB and go to a state school.

The Wicked Powers Title Is Talking About The Families.
This is my crazy theory for The Wicked Powers series. This is kind of long so I will put a TLDR at the end of this. So far everyone assumes that the powers refer to either demonic powers with the princes of hell rising or Ash’s and Kit’s powers and connection to the Fae. I have been doing some re-reading of TMI and TID and I think the powers refer to old shadowhunter families.
The first thing that led to this conclusion is how important family trees are now and how much it is being emphasized. Also at the end of TMI, it is very important that Jace picks a family to belong to and he chooses the name that goes with his bloodline. Family names have been important since the beginning and they talk about how there are old and powerful families within the Clave. They are described as rich and hold leadership positions in most of the books. They wear rings that symbolize their families and these rings are always mentioned and significant to the characters.
Second thing is that the development of only a few families have been important throughout the series. Cassie focuses on just a few main families through out the books even though she could have added other ones because there is so much time passing and they are in much different locations. This would have been easier than creating a ton of stories to explain the locations of these families also. This is building to some kind of epic conclusion with the Fairchilds, Herondales, Lightwoods, Blackthorns, Carstairs, and Morgensterns.
Third thing is that all of these families have or a going to have some kind of power beyond typical shadowhunter ability. The Fairchilds have the ability to pull things out of pictures and turn objects into paintings. This hasn’t been mentioned in a while but it is significant in the first series and is revealed to be a family thing because Jocelyn can do it too. It would be interesting if Mathew or Charles did it in TLH. The Herondales are connected to the dead, the see ghosts and talk to them. The Carstairs are connected to weapons and control magical swords. The Lightwoods are connected to demons and the downworlders, even their family crest is connected to them, hell fire. They are always intertwined with them in some way and have relations with them that are closer or more meaningful then characters from other families throughout the books. The next book is about the Blackthorns and Morgensterns so I think their powers will be revealed and then it will lead to some battle involving emblems of some kind or a sort of rune that amplifies these powers and that will defeat the princes of hell in one final battle combining all of the families from the series.
TLDR: I think the powers refer to the powers of the families all of the series before it has focused on. The powers specific to these old and powerful families will be used in a final battle against the Princes of Hell.

I haven’t even read the reviews of The Winchesters yet and I’m just going to say that I liked it, I don’t care that it isn’t canonical in some ways. It has my comfort fictional world and I have read a thousand variations in fan fiction so I’ll watch this and I’ll like it because it is content. I also thought the characters were good and there seems to be hope that they will have better and more consistent arcs than the characters in Supernatural. There is potential here.

Top 10 most likable TSC Characters
This is based on my opinions and what I have observed in fandom, let me know if you disagree with any of these. I’m starting at 10 and working toward the most likable TSC character.
10.) Isabelle Lightwood: She has little to no character flaws and is accepting of everyone. She is brave and caring and represents strong female empowerment. Everyone likes Izzy and I have never seen a hate post for her.
9.) Alastair Carstairs: I can not wait to see his character development in the final TLH book and see his arc completed. He is so interesting and has a great ship. He is one of the most popular characters from TLH. He has a fantastic redemption arc and is taking back some power in his life and I can’t wait to see what happens. Will wield Cortana. 10/10 character.
8.) Tavvy Blackthorn: If you do not like Tavvy something is wrong with you.  He is the baby of TSC and everyone loves him.
7.) Max and Rafael: I put them tied because I don’t have a favorite of Malec’s children/ The fandom is very happy about their existence. If anything happens to them the fandom will be out for blood lol.
6.) Mina Carstairs: Kit’s baby sister, adored by the fandom, heavily protected by the characters. No one hates her.
5.) Kit Herondale: It’s Kit, he is angsty and the fandom is living for his whole arc of “I told a boy I loved him at age 12 and had to leave the country out of embarrassment when he didn’t say it back.” He is also a faerie which is super cool. I can not wait to see him as a fully developed character in TWP.
4.) Jem Carstairs: He almost didn’t make this list after the last SOBH post but I still put him here because he is Jem. Best advice and able to tame a wild Herondale.
3.) Tessa Grey: It’s Tessa, best love interests and source of the best TSC quotes. Book nerd and there for relatable for most of the fandom. Tessa is wonderful and one of my favorite book characters of all time.
2.) Alec Lightwood; Everyone loves Alec, he has has faults but he is so pivotal in the morals the series is trying to convey about acceptance that he has to be on this list. Malec is the OTP and no one can deny they are the most popular relationship in to fandom.
1.) Magnus Bane: He is Magnus, everyone loves him, brings some comedic relief to the series as well as representing the issues in the TSC world. He is one of the most loved characters ever. He also threw a birthday party for his cat which is the only reason he is above Alec.

KitTy Headcanons
This is because SOBH is killing me lol.
Kit forgives Ty now that Mina is in his life and understands that if she died he would 100% resort to necromancy (he does have that Herondale gene after all)
They have a long chat after they see each other at Blackthorn Hall and decide to become friends again because they really can’t live without each other.
They start talking over text and text almost every day about everything; how lynx training is going, cute things Mina has done, etc.
They end up meeting up one weekend at Cirenworth and going to a Sherlock Holmes event being hosted near by. despite Tessa’s teasing Kit insists “OMG IT IS NOT A DATE”
it’s a date.
They have a great time and still don’t understand that they are both pining after each other until another person comes up to them and tells them what a cute couple they are and they turn an equal shade of red. Ty says thanks. Kit almost has a heart attack.
They don’t talk about it until later when they are both sitting in the library drinking hot chocolate and they end up kissing.
They continue texting after Ty goes back to school and don’t tell anyone except Dru (Kit needs her emotional support)
They think it is a secret but everyone knows. They have eyes, they can see the holding hands under the table and stolen glances.
They decide to tell everyone one night when they are all having dinner in the newly completed Blackthorn Hall. Everyone faked surprise but Kit and Ty saw right through them. “You Knew?!?!?”
They got a laugh and congratulations. They continued celebrating both the newly completed home and the relationship they have all been waiting for to finally happen.
