Panic

I lay in my bed

Thoughts bouncing in my head

Everything spiralling

Going down the rabbit hole

Swallowing me down whole.

The ceiling is spinning

Everything looks at me grinning

Darkness seeps within the cracks

All that was uttered

All of it goes to clutter.

Flooding down my sheets

Spilling onto the floor past my feet

Staining the bed I lay upon

Staining the mind where I reside

Try to take it all in tide.

It's useless, it's hopeless

That's what they tell me in mess

It doesn't matter, don't care

I tell them all to shut up

But they only rise up.

Clock ticks by, tick tock tick

I can't even notice it tick

The blood of thoughts just roars

It continues spilling in stains

Covering the floor akin to rain.

All these engravings, carved into scars

Covering my body, all those stars

Can't seem to want to throw away

Now I'm drowning in temporary

All my thoughts in contrary.

Can't keep track of any time

Bang my head like a crime

The neverending spiral

Then it begins to finally slow

The thoughts finally go low..

And I breathe again.
