this animé! finally watching again after a very long time T~T
the episodes just keep getting better and better every single week (*´꒳`*)♡ i am so grateful that they are giving the manga justice!
but of course, i couldn’t help but binge-read the manga after leaving it untouched since the pandemic (which seemed so long ago already!)
anyways, i’m so excited for this week’s episode! (๑>◡<๑)
You're telling me this beautiful last part was added by the anime?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're really spoiling us, my god, they really know how to bring out the best of the story 😭😭

Horimiya ホリミヤ
Originally a Manga Series
Author: HERO
Illustrator: Daisuke Hagiwara
This anime series got me hooked, even though it had been a while until I had the energy to watch an anime series having romance as one of its genre.
It truly had me in a roller coaster of emotions ;—; It reminded me, in a way, of the kind of high school life I had in mind. Either way, I am still grateful of how everything turned out in my life. ( ´ ▽ ` ) I hope your grateful with yours as well~
Every episode was unique. It did not only revolve around the life of Hori and Miyamura, but also the lives of those around them, which somehow made me forget what the series was all about >~<. I’m not putting it in a bad light.
Although it somehow felt a little fast with its pacing, if you know what I mean ._. not only in that part but if you have read the manga or have read some reviews from those who have read it, you’ll understand, I was still satisfied with the whole series. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
If you also like this series, I recommend reading the manga ^ - ^. It will really make you appreciate and understand the story more.

Shingeki no Kyojin 進撃の巨人 (Attack on Titan)
Originally a Manga Series
Author: Isayama Hajime
Isayama is truly a genius.
I never thought I would be attached with this series, even though I was not a supporter since the beginning.
I’m glad that my cousin encouraged me to watch animé again ( ´ ▽ ` ) since I really haven’t the time and energy to bring myself to watch animé with the sudden change of educational methods (;_;) for I was able to witness this masterpiece before it finally had come to an end T—T (the manga though, and not the animated series)
*continue reading if you have read the ending of the manga*
The ending was really bittersweet, and even though it also broke my heart to pieces — because Isayama had also let my ship sail and sink at the same time o_o — I was satisfied with how the series ended.
The rumbling was really overboard. Innocent lives were taken, all for the sake of humanity’s freedom. Someone in his right mind won’t do that, let alone form a group to make it possible.
However, even though it had cost millions of deaths, the gist of their future had already been written. Eren did not have a choice (I am not a yeagerist, just a person stating her two cents whilst looking at both sides,, don’t attack me please ._.), and instead, he had yielded to the inevitability of what had to come.
Every character had their reasons, regardless whether they were an Eldian, a Marleyan, or a person within the walls.
Even though it involved brutal means, what they had decided to do was what they thought the only way for them to survive.
To sacrifice one’s life, the relationships one has, the life one has dreamt with his/her/their loved one, all for the future of humanity — courage and bravery.
Isayama could have thought of a different way not to let lives be sacrificed, and instead give us a “happily ever after.” However, he didn’t, but instead wanted us to see how harsh, how painful, and how ephemeral life and reality can be in this world.
Okay, let me stop there *awkward laughs* (adding this really makes it more awkward).
Nevertheless, Hajime Isayama, thank you for creating this wonderful masterpiece.

<< Solo Leveling >>
Gee So-Lyung & Jane Sung-Lak
Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Shounen
Released: 2018
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve last posted, and Solo Leveling has really been one of my favorite Web Novels so far. I also can’t believe I’d be seeing that creepy face again T—T.
I really loooove how the story is going. So, yes... let me leave Sung Jin Woo’s glow up again in one panel
╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
And I agree Sung Jin Woo, it really is different from last time ( ̄∀ ̄)
|| I do not own the comic and no copyright infringement is intended. ||
Here’s the previous post about him ^^

Orange オレンジ
One of the anime series that left me empty ;-;. Maybe because I envy the friendship they have.
But, anyways, this is a really good series. I cried more than I thought I would probably because I almost had the same experience as Kakeru.
I really felt sad for Suwa ): I won’t state the reason because I might spoil it for those who haven’t watched it yet ;)
Just a message to remind you to hold on~ you could skip this though:
I just hope you don’t let go earlier than you’re supposed to. It’s alright to dwell in the past, but just don’t stay there too long. Try to look at the light once in a while and appreciate what’s present with you now.
You can talk to me if you have problems. I will listen. ^-^ You are not alone.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai - Tensai-tachi no Ren'ai Zunōsen かぐや様は告らせたい ~天才たちの恋愛頭脳戦~ (Kaguya-sama: Love is War)
I had a good laugh watching this anime. I also had a lot of second-hand embarrassments ;-;. I liked how the story progressed. If only Kaguya and Shirogane would swallow up their prides :<.
Overall, I liked this series, especially season 2! It just made me feel single as ever T-T
Anyways, I hope you find some time to watch this, especially if you are into romcom kinds of anime ^-^
It’s originally a manga, so if you want to know more, I suggest you read it <3~

Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun 地縛少年花子くん (Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun)
Originally a Manga Series
Author: Iro Aida
I really love this series and I wonder why ‘romance’ isn’t included in its genre. The animation is cute with its not-so-dark plot. I love the characters and I really wish it had a second season T^T. I never thought that I would be feeling single as I watched this ;-;.
The manga is ongoing though, and if you feel unsatisfied with its ending, better read the manga. (*´꒳`*)

Haikyū!! はいきゅ
This is the first sports anime I watched and it really helped me change a lot of things in my life. I started to continue art and learned to believe in myself more.
I really admire their fighting spirit and even though I am not a sporty person at all, I felt the tension during and in between their matches.
I haven’t read the manga yet, but according to my friends, it is worth the read.

Tōkyō Gūru 東京喰種 (Tokyo Ghoul)
Originally a Manga Series
Author and Illustrator: Sui Ishida
“To take... to have something taken...
To capture... to be captured...
To obey... to make someone obey...
After repeating the actions of affirming and denying over and over, we fight so we don’t lose anymore. And yet, the people we love, our place in this world will one day disappear. In the end, we will be forgotten. It’s sad to be alive. It’s painful. Even then... even if we know we’re going to suffer loss someday... Even though we know we’re going to disappear someday... We undesirably seek it. We want to stay beautiful. And so I choose, and will continue to choose, and continue to be chosen.” ~ Kaneki Ken ~
I never imagined I would find myself watching Tokyo Ghoul and see myself crying at some episodes, especially the part where I thought Hide died and the part where Arima died T_T. I really have no words to describe how awesome it is although I haven’t read the manga yet and according to those who read it, the manga turned out to be way better.
Well, it would be up to you if you would solely watch the series or read the manga along with it. All I know is after watching another anime end again, although it already ended years ago, makes me question myself how the heck am I supposed to deal with reality?

And here I thought I was the only one who like guys, especially 2D men, with glasses. Like bruh... how can they draw such men who make me do this even though they don’t exist in real life?!
Tumblr media
Why can’t 2D men exist in real life? T_T
Daisuke and glasses.
A train of opinions.
The first time i saw daisuke, not gonna lie. He's attractive af. But l can't help but wonder, this guy just have to got some soft spot or dorky moments.
I lost it in the gummy fish scene, the ramen scene, and that custom ramen.
But i truly lost it when i saw this
Tumblr media
I'm weak when it comes to guys with glasses. He is not allowed to be this hot.
HE IS NOT ALLOWED.
Tumblr media
But seems like the animators didn't stop there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
IT'S TOO MUCH I'M TELLING YOU.
I swear to god when haru grab his camera but daisuke grab his glasses instead. I lost it. Look at him looked soo smart with those glasses! The adorable way he put his glasses on!
And then that last scene
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He can't just show up looking so badass with his glasses on AND READY FOR ACTION.
Tumblr media
Look at those serious and steady eyes perfectly framed.
Hands down. As someone who like guys who wear glasses, daisuke earned his reward of attention in episode 2.
Tumblr media
Yea he's happy with all of this compliments alright.

Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eien to Jidou Shuki Ningyou ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデン 外伝 -永遠と自動手記人形- (Violet Evergarden Side Story: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll)
Originally a Light Novel
Author: Kana Akatsuki
Artist: Akiko Takase
Another heartwarming story, however, did not make me cry like before because the series still left a hole in my heart (ToT) even after 9 months. Even though the ending wasn’t what I’ve expected, I think that it was alright to end it that way because it rather showed a glimmer of hope that someday we would be reunited with the people who we want to meet again.

Yakusoku no Nebārando 約束のネバーランド (The Promised Neverland)
Originally a Manga Series
Author: Kaiu Shirai
Artist: Posuka Demizu
This is one of the best anime I’ve watched so far. I am really not the psychological-thriller kind of person when watching anime but, surprisingly out of curiosity, I decided to watch this. You really would not get disappointed in watching this well, you might be, so if you want to know more about this series, after watching the anime, I suggest you better read the manga, too like what I am currently doing right now (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)。
Oh and just a simple reminder:
DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO. NOT. SEARCH. ON PINTEREST. PICTURES ABOUT THIS SERIES, especially if you plan on reading the manga because based on experience, it really gave away spoilers.

"The wind rises!... We must try to live!"
— Paul Valéry, "Le Cimetière Marin" (The Graveyard By The Sea)
Another great film done by Hayao Miyazaki 👏🏻, which although brought me to tears, reminded us to strive for our dreams and continue on living on, even when all seems to fall apart.

Ao Haru Ride アオハライド (Blue Spring Ride)
The first episode really gave me my daily dose of emotions (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`) and it reached until the last. Even though the last episode didn’t turn out with what I’ve expected, the ending was satisfying and I think that it was right to end it that way.
If you are really into this anime, better read the manga ^ - ^ (according to a review, it would really not disappoint you).
Here’s a lesson I’ve learned from this anime. ~heartbreaking but true.
Sometimes we bottle up our feelings because of the pain we’ve experienced, without even noticing the things, the people that surround us. We can let it out. We can let it all out. Cherish who and what you have with you right now... before it becomes too late.

This anime really involves a lot of flirting so get ready if you don’t want to feel single more than ever like I felt (T_T).
Nevertheless, I really had a good laugh and enjoyed watching every episode, even season 2 and the OVA. It was also based on a manga so if you want to know more how their relationship will develop, better read the manga too (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)。
