three. it was three more days until you were going to get deployed in your first mission without ghost after two years of being deployed together, you were excited to finally get to show how you were independent and didn't need him to guard you 24/7. you finally had the chance to prove to him that youre a great partner for him, in and outside of missions.

two. two more days until deployment, Simon got worried and managed to make Price let him supervise through the mic, in reality he also wanted to see you succeed, wanted to see you for what you really are in the field, a professional, a capable soldier. he was excited, very excited for you to accomplish the mission, because little did you know, it was gonna be your last mission. you two were able to finally be eligible to retire after the mission. after finding this out he thought about it, it didnt really take much thought to think that it would be a great idea, and so, he went to talk to you about it.

Simon walks up to you, you smile as he does and open your arms up for a hug, welcoming him back to your bedroom that you two shared, he hugged you tight, smiling under his balaclava.

" hey Si, whats up? thought you had to train some rookies "

" mm, just wanted to talk to you darlin' "

you chuckled quietly as he whispered in your ear, he wasn't normally this clingy around you, must be a special day today.

you grin, looking up into his eyes, already knowing where this is going.

plum was your cat, she was persian, fluffy and white, simon had met her multiple times before, always having scratches from her, the two always had beef and fought over your attention, you chuckle as you get a flashback of when you were cooking and simon and plum had fought since simon tried to pet her.

if only it were that easy.

one. the mission went great, at first. when all of a sudden more enemy reinforcements came out of nowhere, we had gathered false information from a spy in the team, causing everyone to get severely injured.

you look around you, as you were trying to help a soldier up you feel a sharp pain in your lower abdomen, slowly looking down you notice the pooling blood and you lose balance, falling down.

you never though it would happen like this, sure you had a huge chance of dying from your job but alone? you always thought simon would've been there atleast, you feel yourself crying, it'll never happen will it? the happy ending you and simon longed for, you were so close..

all of a sudden your radio starts to beep.

"bookworm! bookworm do you copy?"

you recognize the voice, it was ghost. you smile weakly and reply.

"copy.. i'm here"

ghost feels a sense of relief until he notices your voice was shaky and shushed. his relief immediately being replaced with fear and concern.

"Are you okay?"

ghost asks in a hurry, his voice quivering.

"mm-mm.."

"no.. no... please, be okay, stay with me here!"

the intercom buzzes, you hear ghost's voice shaking and he was clearly in panic now. you feel yourself getting colder, tears streaming down your face as you pull up a photo of the three of you together, having a fun time in the kitchen. you, plum and ghost.

"take care of plum for me okay..?"

you ask tiredly, feeling your eyelids getting heavier by the minute.

"we. we'll take care of her.. please, just.. just hang on for me!"

you chuckle weakly, the both of you knowing there won't be anything to hold on anymore, it was too late.

"i love you Si-"

you get cut off, another shot from the enemy passing through you, your death was tragic, a photo of the three of you together in your hand.

Simon breaks down into tears as he hears the bullet. You were gone. for forever.

he sulks for days in your house, the same house that would be filled with laughter and life was now sad and depressing, your cat, plum looking around for you in the kitchen, wondering why you weren't there. Simon would feed the cat daily while he continues his work in the task force, he had pledged to get you revenge, to avenge you.

He wasn't even able to look into your room without crying, so he left it untouched, he knew he wasn't going to be able to recover from this, you had healed his scar and left an even bigger one, and he didn't want that to be healed, it scared him that maybe if he accepts it he'll forget you, and he was slowly starting to, slowly starting to forget the voice and laughter of the one he loved so much, the goofy expressions that he loved so much, the happy life you two yearned for.

You had just gotten into a short coma, no one knew when you would wake up, hell- no one even knew if you would live.. but two soldiers waited patiently. Giving you gifts daily, visiting you daily and even sleeping in your hospital room, ghost and könig had made a truce and decided to pay off your hospital bills together.

Ghost was your childhood friend, someone you could trust, someone who cares for you, who would do ANYTHING for you. König is your ex boyfriend, you chose him because you really liked his accent, his cute homemade gifts for you, everything he did, he did for you, for your wellbeing, for your good. But he messed up, he messed up bad when you caught him cheating, sure it might have only been a one time thing but it still hurt didn't it? And the fact he was sober too.. all while you were pregnant. But now thats not a worry..

A year had passed by, the doctors had to take away your now dead baby from your stomach, she didn't survive the crash. König felt guilty, he thought it was his fault. But it is his fault.. if only he hadn't been cheating-- your thoughts pause, you felt your body getting warmer, you finally regained consciousness again.

You wake up, fluttering your heavy eyelids open to see simon on the couch beside you, he looked peaceful. You couldn't help but smile.

"si..?"

You mumble, your mouth was dry and your voice was barely comprehensable but he heard and immediately got up.

"Love?"

His eyes widen at the sight of you smiling, his heart feeling warmth after so long. He rushed over and pulled you in for a hug, tears in his eyes threatening to fall.

"You're awake! Oh my god.. i missed you so much"

You chuckle, hugging him back, ignoring the pain everywhere in your body. You smile at him, pulling away from said hug.

"where's.. where's könig?"

You ask, hope in your voice vanishing when ghost opened his mouth. He felt his heart clench, his tears falling down. Even after all of that.. you're still looking for him..?

"he's busy, but i'm here.. please! I can treat you better"

You cant help but chuckle at him awkwardly, tilting your head in confusion.

"You like me? I thought you only ever saw me as a friend"

His heart throbbed at those words. 'Friend' friend?! Would a friend wait for years just to be with you?

He hugged you again, tears falling. You hug him back, knowing it's not often he'd be willing to hug someone.

"Please.. give me a chance love, i can treat you better! You deserve better"

Ghost begs, pulling away from the hug and kneeling down, looking up wt you with pleading eyes, this gets you off guard and you look dumbfounded at the sight. The door opens to reveal a chuckling könig at the other side.

"Ghost? I thought you were better than that"

He chuckled, ghost getting up and rolling his eyes, standing in front of your bed in a defensive stance, clearly irritated.

"Look who's talking."

He barked, könig getting hurt but doesnt show ot, he walks over to you and places his hand on your cheek, caressing your face gently, he smiled at you so lovingly before placing a kiss on your forehead, the feeling of his masked lips giving you butterflies.

"König.. i told you we were over didnt i?"

You hiss, pushing him away. Ghost smirks, finding the whole situation amusing. König lets go of you, sitting down and sighing, trying to keep his emotions in check as to not cry.

"You heard what the lady said"

"Shatz, please.. i'll do better this ti-"

"Shut up. You cheated on me."

"4 years of dating and you still cheated? Shame on you könig"

König scoffs, turning to ghost and glaring at him angrily.

"I, however, could treat her better."

He whispers, playing with your hair gently, his gloved hands feeling soft and comforting, you felt butterflies and you blush.

"As if. You don't deserve her."

Konig says in a rude tone, holding your hand lovingly. The two men making you a blushing mess and you're screaming in your head.

"guys please- i'm tire-"

"Do you want a snack?"

"I can order you McDonald's if you want"

"I'll buy you anything you want, sweetheart"

"I can go get some water for you"

They cut eachother off, competing for your love. You cant help but blush, turning away and regaining your cool before responding.

"Water and food sounds great"

They give you a smile, both of them walking away to get what you need.

Hi you are my favorite angst writer I really love your work 🥹 I have an idea for a fic and I think you are the perfect person to write it! (it's okay if you don't want to). Basically, a new recruit at the base, and the fem!reader was suspicious of her from the beginning, she had something strange but, the recruit managed to deceive the boys, even König (reader's boyfriend) with your charm and kind smile. When the reader tries to accuse the recruit everyone is against her and so she decides she needs to take some time off, and now with the reader who was a database expert out the spy mouse can copy and transfer sensitive data, putting the entire base in danger. I know it's a very specific request but I like angst like, I SAID IT... haha, I'd be really happy if you did :3 Kisses :*

It was a great night after a successful mission, you had just won the mission and successfully interrogated an enemy, you and your boyfriend were just hanging out in the bar when a new recruit comes in, smiling.

"Who are you?"

"Oh, i'm the new recruit.. for 141?"

She raised her eyebrow, finding it 'amusing' I didn't know. König smiles at her awkwardly, his social anxiety kicking in.

"What are your codenames? I'm faux"

She held out her hand to könig, wanting a handshake. He shakes her hand, slightly hesitating.

"König."

You also shake her hand, smiling softly to not seem rude.

"Bookworm"

She chuckles slightly at tour codename, finding it funny and amusing.

"Bookworm? That's rich"

She teases, still laughing. König snickers a little, also finding it funny. You cross your arms, slightly irritated at her. You chuckle.

"Faux? Look at me yeah?"

She looks at you in confusion, wiping away her happy tears from laughing so much.

"Yes?"

You push her down, looking at her with a strict and serious face.

"Learn your place."

You spit out, rolling your eyes. You mumble 'fucking rookies' under your breath when suddenly könig holds you by your shoulder, looking into your eyes with concern.

"Shatz, calm down"

You sigh, hugging him. When suddenly faux grins, you notice her and start to get suspicious when she stands up, a scratch on her knee and now limping towards your boyfriend.

"Ow.."

She mutters, könig then helping her get on his back.

"I'll bring her to the medic"

"It's not even that major!-"

"She's hurt."

You roll your eyes in annoyance, noticing könig take faux's side instead of yours. You glare at her as könig carries her outside. You notice her smirking and pointing her tounge out at you before leaving the room. You sigh in annoyance, your hands on your face as you calm yourself down.

as könig puts her down on the bed, a nurse comes around and tends to her scratch

"Don't you think you're *slightly* overreacting sir?"

The nurse asks, looking up and still bandaging faux. König shakes his head.

"Bookworm's anger issues.. we really need to start working on that- especially since shes a higher rank, i just dont trust that she'll play nice with the rookies"

The nurse sighs, standing up and walking away after he tended to faux's scratch. Faux then looking at könig with false innocence in her eyes, fluttering her eyelashes at him.

"i just don't know why she would do that.."

"I'm apologizing for bookworm's behalf.. i'm so sorry"

"No, it's alright. I shouldn't have made fun of her codename huh?"

König chuckles, smiling under his mask.

"Yeah, you really shouldn't have"

König stands up, smiling at her and fixing his mask before turning around.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm gonna go comfort bookworm"

"but.. stay with me? Please?"

Konig shakes his head, clearly hesitant. You're his #1, he'll aways think of you first over anyone. Faux pouts and flutters her eyelashes at him, hopefully making könig fold. König chuckles at this and shakes his head.

"I'll see you tomorrow faux"

He spoke, now turning away and walking towards you.

You sat there, sobbing quietly into your hands, feeling guilty from doing what you did earlier, letting your anger issues get the better of you once again. Your thoughts screaming at you.

König sat next to you, pulling you in for a hug and kissing your forehead to comfort you, calm you down in some way- and it did, it did work. You melted in his touch, hugging him back and sniffling.

"I'm sorry"

"It wasn't your fault shatz, i'll help you through this"

He smiles at you and you smile back, wiping away your tears and kissing him, pulling his mask a little.

Faux stood outside the bar, watching this all unravelling, she was pissed. She pulls the bandage away in annoyance.

"I'll get my revenge."

She mumbles, hiding a knife under her sock.

"Whether you like it or not."
