Cross The Line- Z.K (18+)
Warnings: through the clothes shenanigans, heavy kissing, oral (f and m receiving) , Z being soft
You hate parties. You always have, always will- and Zion knows that better than anyone. He can see the dejection written all over that soft, familiar face of yours, annoyance hidden between the tight furrow of your brows.
His breath is warm against your ear, and you shiver against his side as you begin to feel increasingly tempted to burrow yourself in his hoodie altogether.
“Too many people here, huh?”
“Yeah, and I’m cold.”  You scowl, a chuckle falling from his plump lips as he throws a long, heavy arm around your slumped shoulders, pressing you closer to the heat of his body.
You rest your head against his shoulder, and the smell of cologne brings you comfort, along with the scent of dryer sheets- the snuggle ones specifically, he refuses to use anything else. You love him more for it.
“Finally.”
Your eyes threaten to close, just before you hear his voice, the octave low enough to send vibrations through his chest, the sensation causing a stir in your belly.
You push the wandering thought to the back of your mind as a hoard of people begin moving towards the small leather couch you and Zion are sat on, a blunt resting snugly between the fingers of the party’s host.
“C'mere mama.”
Strong hands gently grip the small of your waist, your feet moving faster than your brain as you find yourself sitting atop Zions firm thighs, his broad chest pressed against your back.
It’s not like you two have never been in this position before, its normal. You’re best friends. For three years, it’s been like this.
Still, something feels off. Not in a bad way, necessarily, but it isn’t like Zion to have his arm locked protectively around your middle in front of all these people, as if he isnt even the least bit scared of anyone seeing.
As if he wants them to see.
The blunt is passed to you before him, and you notice a slight shake to your wrist as you bring it to your lips, inhaling and allowing the smoke to enter your lungs before you turn to the side just slightly- giving it to Zion, who’s honey coloured eyes are locked onto you like this is the first time he’s ever seen you.
It’s the weed, it has to be, right?
Now it’s you who is watching him, as his eyes close ever so slowly while he takes a puff, letting the smoke billow from his mouth and into his nose.
You almost forget that it’s a party, the noise and chatter sounding as if it’s distant, further away than in the room, surrounding you both.
You take a deep breath, turning around to face away from his penetrative gaze as your fingers dig into the meat of his thighs through the material of his jeans, your hips wiggling only slightly as you attempt to get comfortable.
He hums, you feel it, and his grip on you tightens just a tiny bit, not enough for anyone else to notice, but definitely enough for you to.
In fact, that’s not the only thing you notice.
You know that he knows you know, especially when you suddenly stiffen in his arms, your heartbeat practically echoing in your ears as your pulse pounds beneath your skin.
“You alright?”
You gasp only loud enough for him to hear, chills rising across the surface of your skin as you turn in his grasp to face him at a more comfortable angle, your tongue darting out to lick your lips.
“You’re hard, Z.”
Fuck. You make it so damn difficult when you look at him like that. With this slight wonder, curiosity even, with a hint of shock. Yet, even so, he can feel the way you are squeezing your thighs together, attempting to relieve the building pressure between them. He twitches inside his briefs.
“Does it make you uncomfortable?”
Your heart skips a beat, the need to reassure him that you are far from uncomfortable, almost unbearable. You ignore his question.
“Can we go somewhere, Caleb?”
He’ll never get over how you saying his first name makes him feel. It’s silly, he usually hates it. Even so, it’s just a first name, nothing special. But you somehow turn it into something magical. He wants to hear you say it all day.
His hand nearly swallows yours whole with its size, his palms soft, fingers gentle as they wrap around your wrist. He’s fast, long legs moving through crowds of intoxicated people swiftly as you trail behind him, free hand gripping the back of his hoodie.
He fumbles horribly when trying to open the door to an empty bedroom, but he does get it open, and upon entering- your lips find his within the first three seconds.
He cups your cheeks in his wide palms, your fingers pushing his dreads out from in front of his face as his tongue skims your bottom lip. You moan into his mouth, and he grips your hips with enough force to further elicit those sweet sounds he already adores so much.
And then you stop.
You look like you’ve just run a marathon, overwhelmed and taking deep, controlled breaths that seem to have spurred from the realization that you just kissed your best friend of three years.
His heart starts to ache, stomach turning with anxiety. Say something. Anything. He thinks to himself.
“I’m sorry, oh my god, I’m so sorry Zion.”
His eyebrows furrow together, fingers clasping around your wrist as you cradle your face in your palms.
“Sorry? For what, angel?”
His voice is soft, and the anxiety that had previously been rising in your throat, settles somewhat as you look up at his soft, familiar features. You want to kiss him again.
“I- well, I kissed you.” You state, his topaz colored eyes becoming increasingly dark as he closes the space between your bodies, face held in his hands.
“Yeah, why’d you stop?” Your belly turns at his voices drop in octave, the tension in the air thick and palpable, both of you clearly hot and bothered. Your skin prickles with adrenaline and need, and judging by the way his obsidian pupils are blown out, he’s feeling the same way.
“I- well I didn’t know you wanted me to kiss you.”
He laughs, a genuine, jovial sound filling the space between you as his thumb tenderly swipes the apple of your cheek.
“How could you ever think that?”
He sounds breathless, his plush, tempting mouth only inches away from yours as your noses meet, grazing each other in the pursuit of something more.
Without inhibition, Zion kisses you this time, both of you still and absorbing the impact of such a delicate, yet fever inducing kiss that causes you both to hum in satisfaction.
Not an inch is left between you, it seems like, when you two are body to body, hands feeling all the places that you’ve never gotten to touch, but have always admired.
Your clothes suddenly feel too tight, especially when every nerve in your body is telling you that you to be touched. Not just by anyone though, by him.
His tongue is soft and wet against the roof of your mouth, your fingers locked around the nape of his neck as he places you onto the soft mattress by the back of your thighs.
“Can I please-mmm- taste you?”
He speaks between slow, drawn out kisses, and you feel a pool of wetness gathering between your legs, no doubt evident through your underwear, if he were to look.
You want him to look.
You know that this is most definitely what you want, you’re aching for it by now, but the weed still makes you bolder than you actually are, which isn’t so bad right about now. Sober you would be overthinking to the point of physical tears, especially since this is Zion, your Zion, going down on you.
But you take one look at him, into those gentle eyes that sometimes seem warmer than the sun, and you know that you’d trust him with your life. He is home in so many ways.
“Yes, Caleb. Yes.”
He feels himself harden to an uncomfortable point inside his jeans, that are suddenly suffocating him. All he can think about is you. How you taste, how you feel, how you’re gonna sound when he’s in between your legs. Fuck. It feels surreal.
He lavishes your skin in sloppy, sweet kisses from the curve of your jaw, to the dip of your shoulder, too eager to finally to taste you to worry about stripping you of your clothes completely- however, he still savors the way your breasts feel in his large palms as he slips his hands underneath your sweater.
Of course you aren’t wearing a bra.
While your chest misses the warmth of his touch, your belly fills with heat as you feel his long dexterous fingers slipping underneath the waistband of your bottoms, as well as your underwear.
You are bare in front of him with not even a second to process it before you feel him gripping your calves, lifting them onto his broad shoulders as he pulls you to the edge of the bed.
You are shocked, for one, at the fact that your bestfriend has his head between your legs, eating you like you’re his last meal- but most of all, you’re shocked at how good he is at it.
Of course you know he isn’t a virgin, in most categories, which strangely causes you great discomfort to even think about- but the point is that of course Zion is good at giving head, he’s Zion, but you didn’t expect to be holding back an orgasm so soon.
Your fingers find his hair as his tongue laps at the wetness leaking from you, his plush lips wrapping around your swollen clit. You are so far gone already that you know you won’t last long, and a little part of Zion gets off on way you’re whimpering for him.
“Oh-Oh fuck, feels s-so good Z.”
This spurs him on further, his hunger only increasing as you attempt to clamp your thighs shut- and suddenly, you feel two of his thick fingers curving up inside of you, massaging your sweet spot.
“You’re so pretty baby.”  He professes between self indulgent licks.
He doesn’t even realize he’s bucking his hips into the mattress until he has to stop to prevent himself from cumming too soon, both of you clearly overwhelmed and just as worked up as the other. You taste better than he could have ever anticipated.
And when you do finally let go, he swears it’s the most beautiful thing he has ever gotten to see.
Your body stiffens, back arching up and off of the bed as a silent cry falls from your lips, your fingers clawing at his broad shoulders as he continues to flick his soft tongue against your clit.
He works you through your high like this, but the oversensitivity is almost unbearably blissful, and you know that you won’t be able to handle it right now.
You pull him to your mouth before he can think about trying to give you another orgasm, because this is the same Zion who ended up binge watching three whole seasons of Grey’s Anatomy in two nights simply because you bet him he couldn’t, and you are visibly eager to finally touch him too.
You taste yourself on his lips, and the eroticism of it all makes your skin burn even hotter than it already is.
“Your turn.”
Your voice is soft, and he happily complies as your small hands push at his chest, thighs straddling his trim waist as you climb on top of him.
He lets his head fall back against the soft pile of pillows, eyes threatening to close shut as you kiss the curve of his jaw and across his throat, before he feels your fingers undoing the button of his jeans, your eyes hooded with lust- lips pink from how many times you’ve bitten them.
He watches as you pull his bottoms off, the way your entire expression seems to light up with shock and unbridled desire, his dick bobbing in the air as precum leaks from his throbbing, rosy tip.
The moment your hand wraps around him, he twitches. It’s not like he’s never felt a hand on his dick before that isn’t his own. But it’s your hand, small in comparison to his large ones, soft and gentle.
“I don’t think I can fit you, Z.”
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
“It’s okay mamas, you don’t have to do anything you don’t wanna do.”
His throat is dry but he still manages to speak, thumb stroking your cheek. You swear you feel your entire universe shift as you look up at him from between his thighs, an unbridled need to make him feel good, consuming you completely.
“I’ll just lick it until you cum in my mouth.”
He lets out a long, drawn out groan- not just at the feeling of your soft, plush lips kissing the head of his painfully hard dick, but also at how filthy and utterly ethereal you seem to be at the same time.
In fact, he can’t seem to remember anyone else other than you, and this moment. All he can see is you, all he can feel is you. All he wants is you.
He looks down to see the tip of his dick disappearing into the warmth of your mouth, and props himself up on his elbows so he can move your hair out from in front of your face while you work, both hands wrapped around his thick length.
He knows he’s done for when you moan around him, his eyes flickering over your figure to see one of your hands between your legs. Fuck you’re getting off to this, he can hear how wet you are.
“I’m gonna cum, fuck.”
Your tongue circles around him, and flicks the underside of his frenulum, hand pumping the rest of what you can’t reach. Your lashes flutter against your brow bone as you peer up at him, making eye contact. He feels his whole body tremor.
You know that the way Zion looks and sounds as he releases, is going to stick with you forever. The way every muscle in his body seems to flex, veins bulging from his inked forearms, lips parted and eyebrows furrowed in a moment of bliss.
Not to mention the way your name falls from his tongue like a mantra as you swallow every drop of what he spills, his hands cupping your cheeks with him still in your mouth. Knowing you can’t take him all the way only makes coming down from such an intense orgasm, harder. No pun intended.
There’s only a few moments of silence that pass, save the pants and heavy breathing as you both cool off, before he is pulling you onto his lap and kissing you as if he might never get the chance again.
Your flavors mix together, and neither one of you complain about it as you throw your arms around his shoulders, letting yourself cherish each and every moment his lips are on yours. You almost feel tears well up in your eyes as he pulls away.
He looks breathtaking like this, flushed with a slight sheen of sweat coating his pretty face. You reach out to stroke his cheek, and the words seem to fall from his lips without a second thought.
“We can’t go back. To the way things were. I-I don’t want to. And not just sex either-I know you’ve been around for a lot and you’ve seen me do things with girls I’m not proud of but I-”
You shut him up with a kiss that makes his insides do flips, everything he has ever wanted, right here in his arms. You know him, through and through. The mistakes he’s made, the person he has grown to be in such a short time.
“Me too, Caleb.”  You nearly whisper back.
You’ve always been his.

bubbles and bubbly - c.z.k
Tumblr media
for @starrykuwonu & @stellastyless ☁🌙
a/n: inspired by zion being cute on live the other day
synopsis: drunk lovey-dovey zion
warnings: none
word count: circa 1500
•••
you weren’t expecting a call from zion that night, knowing full well that he was going out to celebrate a friends birthday.  you’d opted to stay in, though he did spend a good amount of time trying to convince you to come out with him.  you would, you explained to him, but a tuesday felt like a weird day to go out and party.
his call came right as you were about to turn off your bedside light to go to sleep.  you answered quickly, thoughts that something bad had happened flooding your mind.  they were dismissed almost instantly, zion shouting baby down the line in the happiest voice making you laugh.  he missed you and wanted a kiss.
you could hear the party through the phone, the music almost overpowering his voice.  he didn’t want to kiss you through the phone, he made that clear.  so you decided it was best if you went and picked him up.
when you pulled up, he was standing on the curb with his phones speaker to his ear waiting for you.  he opened the passenger door and greeted you with a beaming smile.
“hey babyyyyy.”
you couldn’t help but laugh at him, gesturing for him to get in the car.  he climbed in excitedly and leant closer to you with his lips puckered.  you could only giggle more, your cheeks flushed pink at his child-like manner.  you pecked his puckered lips and he let out a belt of his infectious laugh.
“put your seatbelt on so i can drive, baby.”
the drive to the boys place was filled with him scrolling through your phone to play what he deemed to be the right songs.  you thought you knew the direction he’d go in but he surprised you by choosing some arin ray, kehlani and justine skye.  everything he played centred around love and he wasn’t shy about singing them all directly to you.
“you know, you’re the prettiest person i’ve ever met.”
he spoke out of the blue as you helped him out of your car.  you assumed he’d be alright to get out on his own since he got in alright but that was quickly proven to be untrue when he attempted to get out without taking off his seatbelt.
“okay zion.”
“no, like seriously baby.  there’s literally nobody prettier than you.”
you only giggled and nodded your head, unable to think of anything more to really say to him.  you pecked his cheek and began the difficult journey of guiding him inside the house and into his room.  it should’ve been a relatively easy task, but he was just so distracted. his already uncertain steps were thrown out of rhythm.
he gasped when he stepped foot into his room, not without falling into his doorframe, despite your warnings and help.  simba was asleep on the foot of his bed and he was instantly cooing as he approached.
“hi puppyyyyy.”
he knelt on the ground beside his bed and cupped simba’s face in his hands, pressing kisses all over him.  you quietly closed his bedroom door and picked up the few things he’d managed to knock down in passing.
“you’re the cutest puppy in the entire world.  i love you so much, bear, i love you so so much.”
you watched him melt into a child, his lips covering simba in kisses and disturbing his sleep.  he didn’t seem to mind and returned some of the kisses.
he could be there all night if he wanted to be.  you’d seen it before.  the endless love he had for his puppy ran deeper than anything he’d admittedly felt before.  time was nothing in his presence.  but it was late.  and as much as you loved seeing this gentle, bubbly side of zion, you wanted to sleep.
“baby?”
you spoke with your hand on his back, quietly with hopes it would settle him a little.  he hummed as he turned his head to look at you, his eyes dopey and his cheeks red.
“can i get you into some clothes you can sleep in?”
he chuckled and placed one last kiss on simba before he stood.  he smiled down at you and nodded his head, holding his arms out like a scarecrow.  you looked up at him before sighing, giggling to yourself with a shake of your head.
you guided him to sit down on his bed and started to remove his clothes.  at first, he just watched in silence, his subconscious petting simba.  when you reached to unbutton his shirt, his hands found themselves on your body.
“i love you so much baby.”
you smiled and pressed a kiss to his forehead but kept your focus on his shirt.  his hands rubbed over your back and sides.  his fingers drew patterns over the thin material that covered your body.  you felt love hearts, his initials with yours and it made you smile, just as much as his confessions of love did.
“sometimes i feel like a stalker or sumn, i’m always thinkin’ ‘bout you.  you literally have my whole heart, i don’t think i love anyone as much as i love you.”
“what about simba?”
you pulled his shirt off and folded it neatly to put away to the side.  your blush was hidden in the half-lit lighting of his room.  you adored his words, adored his hands on your body.  you could feel all sorts of bubbles rising from your toes to your nose.
you were able to ease his pants off while he was stuck in his head for a moment.  the question you’d posed had sent his mind on a quick walk about.
“do you wanna wear your pj pants or are you okay in your boxers?”
you stood back from the bed as you spoke, his hands falling from your body.  he shook his head, his dreads falling in front of his face.
“my boxers.”
he spoke softly and you nodded your head.  getting him under his comforter was relatively easy.  there were promises of cuddles and kisses and in his intoxicated state, he just wanted to be close to you.
his arms were quick to wrap around your middle once you were in beside him.  his head rested on your chest and his eyes closed, a drunken smile spreading over his dreamy face.
“your boobs are my favourite pillow.”
you began to draw patterns on his back and settled into the warmth on his bed, the cirtusy hints of his cologne encasing you in a mellow dream.
“i seriously love you so much, y/n.”
his hand found one of yours and interlock your fingers.  he brought your hand to his lips and placed delicate kisses everywhere he could.
“you’re my dream girl, no cap.”
you giggled at his words, though maybe it was the feeling over his lips beginning to dot kisses over the exposed skin of your chest.  he raised the hem of your shirt as he moved to hover over you.  he pressed kisses everywhere he could, your giggles filling the room at his soft touch.
“i love you too z.”
he returned to the bed beside you and you turned so you were facing him.  you rested your hand on his chest but he was quick to move it to hold over his heart.
“it beats for you.”
you snorted but picked up his hand and held it to your own chest.
“mine too, baby.”
he smiled and moved so your noses were touching.
“promise?”
“i promise.”
your instruction of sleep was at first ignored.  he told you he loved you a couple more times and asked for several more kisses.  his spirits were still very high but his lovey dovey manner eventually led him to a drowsy state.
you fell into one shortly after him, cuddling into his warmth.  his words and affection had created a large ball of warmth inside your lower stomach.  you felt at peace, over the moon in his arms.  you weren’t sure if he’d remember how sweet he’d been the following morning but you didn’t mind.  this was a memory you were sure you wouldn’t forget for a long time.
he’d never expressed his love in words like that night.  his affection came in physical contact, not that you’d ever complain.  it was nice to know that the way he felt about you was just the same as you.
“gonna marry you one day.”
he mumbled as he turned into you, his arms wrapping tightly around you again.  you had thought he was asleep, his silence for the past 10 minutes convincing you so.  before you could gather a reply, the thought of being his wife almost too overwhelming to comprehend, his snores filled the room.
“i hope so.”
your voice was soft as your eyelids finally surrendered to the heavy weight that laid over them.

oh baby (z.k)
It was around 8 am when Zion woke up and looked down at you laying in his arms. He watched as the sun shone down on the diamond ring that graced your finger. He smiled because you’re no longer just his girlfriend but now his fiancé and soon to be wife.
“Mm are you gonna keep staring at me or kiss me?” You opened one eye and cracked a smile at him. Zion laughs and kisses your forehead. “Sorry baby, you’re just gorgeous in your sleep,” he rubs your hand. You playful rolled your eyes but then felt sick and rushed to the bathroom. Not that everyone knew but this happened to you more then once throughout different periods of the day. You’d feel sick and throw up.
Zion quickly hopped out of the bed and followed you to the bathroom. He held your hair back while you threw up. “You okay mamas? Do we need to go to the doctor or anything?” He starts asking random questions once you were done throwing up. “I’m okay baby and no doctor needed. Maybe, I’m just coming up with a cold or my period is gonna start soon,” you grabbed your toothbrush to brush your teeth.
“I’m gonna get us something to eat. I love you ma,” he kissed your cheek and with a mouth full of toothpaste you replied with I love you too. Deep down you knew there was a possibility that you were pregnant and you definitely weren’t mad about it at all. But a little worried about what your family would think since you and Zion aren’t completely married yet.
————-
You and Zion spent the rest of the morning talking about possible plans for the wedding and eating the breakfast he made for the two of you. Then you both took a shower together after cleaning up the meat that was made. He had to go to the studio with the other boys and you needed a girls day with Maggie and Ansley.
“Okay ma, I’ll see you later on today. I love you so much and hope you have a good day baby,” Zion places his hands on your face and kisses you. “I love you more and have a good day as well my love,” you waved at him while he got in the car with Edwin. You closed your door and pulled out your phone to text the girls.
Group chat:
You: Guys I need you both like now!!
Maggie🤤🖤: Bitch what’s up?
Ansley🦋💞: Yeah, you okay?
You: I think I’m pregnant but I’m scared
Maggie🤤🖤: Say less, I’m bringing the pregnancy test
Ansley🦋💞: I’ll bring some snacks
You: Thank you guys❤️
It only took about 30 minutes for them to show up at the house. You pull them into your shared room with Zion and sat on the bed.
“Damn girl, are you ready to take the test?” Ansley questioned. “I don’t know but I’m really nervous,” you started to bite your nails. “What are you nervous for? You already have that boy locked around your finger, literally,” Maggie pointed to your ring. You got up and started pacing around the room.
“We’re not officially married yet which means he still has time to leave me. Shit, he could leave the moment we actually are married. What if he doesn’t want kids right now? Or maybe he doesn’t want kids at all. Maybe I-“ you rambled on until Ansley cut you off. “Babes, you have to take the test right now. We’re gonna be here when you come out,” she hands you the three boxes that Maggie brought for you. You give a quick head nod and go to the bathroom to take the test.
It didn’t take long for you to pee on each of the sticks and once you were done you put the cap back on and washed your hands. You walked out the bathroom and sat down on the floor with the girls. “This is gonna be the longest 5 minutes of my life,” you sigh and leaned your head on Maggie’s lap. “Tell me this, would you be happy if you are pregnant?” Ansley asked.
“Ans, I would be over the moon to be pregnant with the love of my life’s child. I’ve been with Zion so long and he’s always been the one for me. I really can’t imagine a life without him in it,” you played with your ring.
To you it felt like eternity before you guys heard the little beeps from the three test. You sat up and looked at the girls, seeing their encouraging smiles. You walked into the bathroom once again to see each test say positive. “Guys come in here,” you called out to both Ansley and Maggie.
“Bitch, you’re pregnant! Omg congratulations,” Maggie wraps her arms around you as well as Ansley. “I can’t wait to see little you and Zion’s around. I’m so excited,” Ansley said. You felt overwhelmed with emotions and cried. You were happy but you couldn’t help to feel that you would be a bad mother or that Zion didn’t want kids right now.
“Why are you crying love?” Maggie wiped your tears that fell. “ I’m really happy but I’m scared he doesn’t want kids right now or maybe I’m gonna be a bad mother,” you pout and cry even more.
“Shut up, you are gonna be a great mother. I mean, look at all of the times you were the mom of the group when it came to the boys. And I’m sure Zion will be super happy to not only have you as his wife but the mother of his children too,” Ansley hugged you tighter. “Thank you guys for even being here right now,” you slightly smiled even though they couldn’t see you smile.
———-
You heard the door open and you knew that it was Zion coming home. You got nervous but kept your focus on the tv. “Mamas?” Zion called out for you being that you weren’t in the living room. “In the room Zi,” you yelled back. In no time he was standing at the door with Taco Bell for the both of you.
“Wow, I missed seeing your face today. I got you food because I didn’t know if you ate but if you did that’s okay too,” Zion pulled the food out of the bags. “Awe thank you honey. I didn’t really eat today but I appreciate you,” you grabbed his shirt and kissed him. He smiled into the kiss and pulled you closer by your waist.
“Mm I’ll be right right back, I have to use the bathroom. But put on a movie for us,” he kissed your head and walked into the bathroom. You had completely forgotten about the test that sat on the countertop.
“I was thinking we could watch a marvel movie,” you scrolled through the movies. Zion stood there with one of the test in his hands. “Mamas, you’re pregnant?” You pause at the sound of his question but slowly nodded your head.
“If you don’t want a kid right now, it’s o-“ you were about to ramble again but Zion cut you off by lifting you up and wrapping your legs around his waist. “Are you kidding me? Ma, you’re gonna be the freaking mother of my child! I’m so excited,” he smiled at you and hugged you tightly.
“So you’re not upset that I’m pregnant before we got married?” You lock eyes with him and asked. “What no. Baby we’re having a baby! I can’t wait to tell our families and friends,” he kissed you all over your face making you laugh. He placed you back on your feet and went down on his knees.
“Hi baby, I know you’re not developed just yet but me and mommy are so happy to have you. I can’t wait to hold you in my arms. I can’t wait to be a daddy and do right by you and mommy. I love you little bean,” Zion kisses your stomach and stands up. He really couldn’t wait to tell everyone but for now he wanted to enjoy this moment with you only.

———————————————————————
The day you met the man who changed your life was a regular Friday night. You were at your house with your friends and getting ready to go to a party a friend of a friend invited your friend to, who in turn invited her close friends. You all sat stationed at different parts of your room; you stood in front of your closet tryig to figure out what to wear and Hannah stood behind you contemplating, your best friend Michelle stood infront of the mirror touching up her face and your other best friend, Kelly, sat on the floor painting her nails.
“Guys I don’t know what to wear,” you whined as you looked at your range f clothes which suddenly became unnappetising. There was a lot your closet had to offer but none of it looked good enough to you.
“Yeah, Im stuck here too. We need your help.”
Kelly and Michelle stood up and walked up to your closet, the four of you stood eyeing the clothes on hangers for a moment until a hand stuck out and pulled out a yellow bodycon dress.
“You can never go wrong with the colour yellow and a bodycon. Put this on,” Michelle said as she thrust the dress into your arms and shoved you toward the bathroom to change. You muttered protests because you hardly ever wore dresses and you didn’t want to make a fool of yourself.
“Shut up, you’re going to look hot. All the boys will be drooling over you. You’ve got a gorgeous body and a gorgeous face. Go change.”
After you change, you walk out of the bathroom and stand in front of your judges. The all nod in approval and hand you a pair of sneakers because it is essential that you be comfortable.
You all make your way out of your house, into the car and on the way to the party. You don’t normally go with your friends to these parties because there isn’t really much for you to do at them. You don’t have many friends, you don’t know how to talk to people and so you you’re kind of awkward at these kinds of things. But they said you should come because it would be “fun”.
Arriving at the party, you walk through the door and are greeted with blaring music, thick air and the scent of cannabis. The house has a red light cast over it, adding to the club-like vibe of the party as people dance and chat amongst themselves.
“First stop is the kitchen for some liquid encouragement. Tonight we have fun ladies.”
You make your way to the kitchen and on the way you walk past a group of boys. One catches your eye; he’s tall and has light skin that glows under the red light. He laughs as he talks with his friends before a loud shout comes from his mouth at the words of his friend. His features are animated as he talks; his mouth pulls into a beautiful smile that reaches his eyes and lights up his face. He begins to shake his head cause his hair to shake as he does, the blonde locs dance with his movements. He looks up and scans the room, almost like he can feel someone watching him. His eyes finally meet yours and you feel your breath hitch as you drop your eyes and walk to the kitchen.
“Is everything okay? You’re looking a little sick there, babe,” Kelly says while wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
“Yeah, it’s just a little warm. That’s all.”
Michelle hands you al shot glasses salt and lime.
“Tequila because tonight we're going all out my loves.”
You all take a lick of salt, raise the liquid to your mouths and gulp, hissing as it works its way down your throat and suck on the lime. You feel your throat and insides grow warm at the invasion by the poison and then you feel alive.
“To the dance floor,” Hannah charges and drags you with her. You loosen the grip she has on your arm because dancing isn’t really your forte and make your way to a corner. You watch your friends sing and dance to the music and admire their carefree attitude because it is something you desperately longed for. You wished you could dance without a care and sing and shout at the top of your lungs. But instead you stood in a corner and watched them with the ghost of a smile on your face.
“Maybe you should join them and not just observe,” a voice said, its deep tone startling you and causing you to yelp.
“Shit, ma, I didn’t mean to scare you,” The stranger says again, their voice is softer and timid with fear of scaring you more than they already had.
You turn your head and are met with the blonde Adonis that caught your eyes moments earlier. You feel your face grow warm and your chest tighten as he stands in front of you. You start to blubber and stutter because you’re unsure of what to do in this moment. Deciding you need to stop embarrassing yourself, you stop your attempts to speak and simply shake your head.
“Why not? It’s a party, these are made for dancing.”
“I don’t really dance,” you say. Your voce is soft and sweet, it brings a smile to his face as it is exactly what he imagined it would be, but somehow better.
“Well if you don’t want to dance, how about you and I go find somewhere to sit? I’ll keep you company while your friends dance. How does that sound?” he says while nudging your arm with a smile paying on his face.
You stand confused for a moment; your face has a blank expression. You barely talk to boys; let alone boys as attractive as the one standing in front of you. This should be an incentive to go. You don’t want to over think this but you do anyway because this is who you are. What if you say something stupid? What if something happens to your friends? Does your dress look okay? What is he expecting?
“Relax, I don’t want to do anything other than talk and enjoy your company.”
He stretches his hand toward you; the invitation still open and you grab his hand and let him lead you to the beginning of your story. You snake your way through the crowd, your body presses against peoples ad you narrowly avoid having drinks spilled on you. He takes you to a section that is away from people but still connected to the party. There is a couch and a table and he takes a seat while you stand awkwardly, unsure of what to do. He pats the spot beside him, inviting you to take a seat. You do so and sit as far away from him as you can because you’re scared he'll hear you heart hammering against your chest.
“I don’t bite, you can move a little closer.”
You move a little bit closer till there is a safe distance between yours and his thighs. He nods his head lightly, understanding that it might take you a while to get comfortable with him. While you sit you look everywhere in the room but him, memorizing the cracks on the walls and the ceiling, the faces in the photographs and the words on the magazines on the coffee table.
“I’m Zion by the way,” he says softly. The name suits him perfectly; it’s strong and masculine like he is.
“Y/N’” You say softly. He repeats it and you love the way it rolls of his tongue with ease. You want to hear him say it over and over again till it’s like an over played song.
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a blunt and pulls it to his lips. He lights it and his cheeks hollow as he takes a long drag. You feel yourself warm up again as you watch his actions attentively.
“You smoke?”
“Never have actually,” you say as you cast your eyes on your lap and fumble with the hem of your dress.
“Here, I’ll teach you. Take this.”
You take the blunt into your hands and lift it to your mouth and wait for further instruction before putting it in your mouth.
“Just put it between your lips and inhale. It’s going to feel really thick and it might hurt but you’ll get used to it and become a pro soon enough,” he says with a playful smile as he watches you raise the blunt to your parted lips.
You inhale and feel the air fill your lungs and you do, indeed, cough. The sudden eruption of the coughing fit startles you. You feel his hand come up to massage your back. The spot he massages feels warm under his hold. Eventually you stop and try again, this time the process is much smoother and you only huff at the feeling of the weed in your lungs.
“See mamas, you got it.”
Your ears perk at the use of the nickname. You chose to pay no mind to it because he probably uses it on plenty females platonically. This isn’t something special
Soon enough you begin to feel like you’re floating as you sit beside him and he watches you with a look in his eyes that you can’t quite decipher.
“I like the way you look smoking, it’s beautiful.”
“Thanks I guess,” you say as you drop your head and become interested in the seams of your dress.
“You don’t talk much, do you?”
You shake your head and raise your eyes to look at him.
“That’s okay, I’ll wait for you. I have a feeling it’ll be worth it.”
The two of you begin to have conversation, talking about anything he thinks will get you talking, which he succeeds at for the most part. He asks you about your family, your friends, school, the kind of music you listen to and even goes as far as wanting to know about your family pets.
He cracks a joke and you giggle, not because it was funny but because of how bad it was. He stops talking and admires you, your face lights up as the beautiful sound of your laugh fills his ears and he wants to hear this noise over and over again, so he cracks as many jokes he can just to see your shoulders rise and fall as you laugh.
Unconsciously, the two of you began to move closer as you talked. The barrier you had created had slowly started to dissipate. You talk about something that fills the air between you and the conversation is light-hearted.
“I want to try something and I have a feeling you’ll like it. Can I?”
“I mean I want to know but I’m nervous.”
“No need to be nervous mamas, I got you.”
It’s the use of the nickname that leads you to nodding your head once again before you can register your actions.
He brings the blunt up to his lips and takes a long drag, keeping his eyes fixated on yours as he does so. His gaze is intense and causes you to fidget. When he pulls the blunt away from his lips he raises his hand and rests it between your neck and your jaw, softly pulling you toward him and you cautiously comply. Your faces get closer and closer and your eyes drop to his lips. He brings his thumb to your lips and taps them lightly, indicating that you should part them. You do and he brings his lips close, you feel them brush yours.
He blows into your mouth and, instinctively, you inhale. Feeling the smoke from his mouth drift from your lips to his. Your close proximity to him causes your heart rate to pick up and you can hear your heart thumping against your ears. You drop your eyes to his lips and marvel at how pink and plump they look before you raise them to his eyes. He does the same, except he keeps his eyes trained on your lips, drawing his bottom lip between his and biting softly before letting it go.
He moves back a few inches before looking at you through hooded eyes. All the while he gazes on your face and memorises its beauty. Before you looked pretty but up close you’re like a painting to him.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I’m just thinking really hard here mamas.”
He wants to kiss you. He really want to kiss you But he doesn’t know how you’ll react. He doesn’t know how to test the waters with him but he does know for sure that he wants to feel your lips pressed against his softly and sweetly. Feel you sigh into his mouth and have his hands rest on your neck while he kisses you. But all he does is look at you.
“What are you thinking so hard about?”
“You.” He says in a heartbeat, voice low and raspy as he speaks. His tongue sticks out to wet his lips and you feel your breath get caught in the back of your throat.
You go quiet. For a moment he panics because he’s scared he’s lost you, but all you are doing is thinking of the right thing to say in this moment. You don’t want to ruin what’s already been going too well. The air in the room is thicker now with the new found tension between the two of you. You draw you lip between your teeth d he feels his stomach clench because ,fuck, you look good.
“What about me?” you hesitantly say, your voice is just above a whisper because you fear if you speak too loud, you’ll break the trance you and Zion had worked yourself into.
“I want to feel your lips on mine. I want to feel your body on mine. I just want to kiss you,” he says, voice rasping from the low octave it’s operating on.
You begin to feel warm all over and wondered if you should take this chance with him. What do you have to lose? What are the chances of you seeing him again? The problem is that you did want to see him again. You liked this man. You wanted something to grow from this one encounter and you wanted it bad. You move your body closer to his and take his hands into your own. Looking at them for a moment before you guide them to your waist, letting them rest on the small of your back.
“So kiss me,” you say softly with your eyes trained on his t-shirt.
With the approval, Zion takes a breath to calm his nerves. He doesn’t know why he’s nervous, but he is. He’s kissed plenty of girls; what’s the difference with you?
With one hand, he raises your head so that you're facing him and brings his face closer to yours. His forehead touches yours and you hold your breath, anxiously awaiting his next move. He let his eyes drop to your lips once more, memorising the way they looked before he leaned in and let his eyes fall shut. Yours did the same and you waited, until you felt it.
His lips connect with yours and you feel them warm up and the warmth spreads throughout your body. This kiss feels like sitting at a fire drinking hot chocolate. His lips are soft against yours and you let out a faint sigh which makes him smile into the kiss because he knows the nerves are mutual. Zion’s hand slowly drifts up your body, past your waist and shoulders and up to your neck where he rests it. His other comes and settles on your cheek, delicately caressing it and you melt into his touch.
He uses the hand on your neck to raise your head and give him more access to your lips which he can feel himself growing addicted to. His tongue swipes against your bottom lip and you let your lips fall open and he delves deeper into the kiss. Both his hands grasp your face as he skilfully works against your lips. His tongue caresses yours and he runs it cross your teeth which makes you hum in satisfaction. You raise your hands to his neck and softly tug and the hair there. He lets out a soft grunt before pulling your bottom lip between his teeth and biting softly before letting it go.
He stares at you for a moment through glossy eyes. This was the best kiss he’d ever had. It sure as hell was the best kiss you had had considering your limited experience intimately with people. You miss the feel of his lips against yours and bring your lips back to his. Your lips mould and you get lost in the euphoric feeling of this kiss. Zion feels his body come to life as he kisses you. Warmth pervades his body and runs all the way down to his toes. This feels different, good different. His hands drift back to your waist and he pulls you closer to him, your chests press against each other and he wants to moan at this feeling alone but stops himself.
“Hey Y/N, we kind of want to leave now. It’s pretty late,” you hear Michelle’s voice say.
You pull away from Zion and look up at your friend. You fell your features twist into that of embarrassment and quickly nod your head, silently telling her you will meet them all outside. She nods and turns on her heel, connecting her arms with Hannah and Kelly while they all begin to childishly giggle at having caught you lip locking with someone.
You turn to Zion and look him in the eye for a moment before the courage you had moments ago disappears and you let your eyes fall on his shirt again.
“Well, that’s my cue,” you say with a nervous laugh.
“Yeah...I guess so.”
“Well oka-“
“I want to see you again”
“Okay.”
“Here’s my number, text me. Please.”
“Okay.”
“Okay,” he says finally before pressing a soft kiss on your lips.
You stand to leave and he follows you, grasping your hand in his as he leads you to the door. The two of you walk hand in hand before you come to face the white exit. He turns your body so that you’re facing him and rests his arm around your waist and then he dips his head to kiss you goodbye.
“Until next time, Y/N,”
“Until next time, Zion.

omg can you do a lil something on like maybe zion is looking for simba but turns out you two were cuddled up together somewhere in the house
we going ✈️ soft
“y’all seen simba?” zion questioned, walking back into the house from the backyard, his thick eyebrows furrowed as he looked around.
brandon shrugged from his position on the couch, the light from the laptop illuminating from his glasses. “i haven’t seen him.”
zion cursed under his breath, mumbling about how simba could never sit still. he’d been in the shower, and since simba has to sit outside the curtain when he’s in there, zion decided to close the door behind him, but now, he was having trouble finding the small furry animal.
in a last ditch effort, he decided to check his room, knowing that you were in there taking a nap, and had been avoiding that area as to not disturb you. taking the steps two at a time, he pushed open the door slowly, peeking his head in. immediately, his expression melted when he saw the exact scene on his bed.
you were bunched up under the blanket, simba tucked under your arm. your face was smoothed out as you slept, your chest rising and falling, soft snores leaving your lips.
simba lifted his head upon seeing zion in the doorway, letting out a silent yawn. coming into the room fully, zion kicked off his shoes, pressing his finger to his lips as he looked at simba.
“shhh, mamas is sleeping,” he whispered, getting into the bed next to you. you shifted, turning over and opening your eyes slightly as a sleepy smile graced your lips.
“sorry. i know you wanted to go the movies later.”
zion let your head fall onto his chest. “i’d rather be here then at the movies. we can go some other time.”
you hummed, the drowsiness hitting you again. simba whined from your other side, getting up and moving so that he was laying in between you and zion. you both chuckled, zion running his fingers through the dogs fur in a way to calm him down.
pressing a kiss to your temple, zion fell into a comfortable position, cherishing the moment that he didn’t ever want to end.

admire (z.k)
prompt: “falling in love with you wasn’t a part of my life plan, but i don’t regret that i did’
requested: no. i’m just soft and i wrote this in class today
warnings: fluff fluff fluff
Tumblr media
you tied your braids up, the ponytail brushing uncomfortably across your bare back. daniel caesar played softly through the bathroom as you washed your face, being alerted as zion walked in singing quietly. you fell back in love with him as your eyes drifted across his shape. he sported only a pair of sweats which he let hang low on his waist. you ducked your head down, rinsing your face before catching a towel that zion aimed at you with a small laugh. you patted your face dry, opening your eyes as you felt arms snake their way around your waist, pulling you back. you stumbled back two paces before your body was flush against his chest. the silk of your bralette cooled his chest down, his eyes falling half closed as his hand splayed flat across your stomach. you looked at him in the mirror only to see him not looking back at you, instead he was looking down at you, his eyes tracing your face from above. you let your head fall back, hitting his chest as he placed his cheek on the top of your head. he finally looked into the mirror, your eyes connecting as your face heated up.
you pulled one of his hands off your stomach, laughing under your breath as he whined. ‘so i try to show you love and this is what you pull’ you shook your head as you walked out of the room, popping your head into the room to pucker your lips at him before you dodged back out. he ambled to the doorway watching as you carefully made your way through the cluttered room. he bit the inside of your cheek, a smile playing on his lips as you pulled one of his prettymuch sweatshirts on, allowing you to be swallowed by the fabric.
you let out a grunt as you threw yourself onto the bed, rolling over to the wall before burrowing under the blanket. he turned the light off, the dull glow from the lights that lined your headboard lit his way to the bed where he climbed in quietly. he smiled at you as you moved closer to him, looking up at him through your eyelashes. he lifted his arm, inviting you into his hold, sighing as you moved to him, resting your head on his chest. you moved one of your legs in between his and picked up one of his hands to toy with his fingers, a habit you picked up as a child. your eyes started to shut as he rubbed circles into your bicep, switching between scratching lightly across the surface and rubbing shapes. he looked down at you, smiling sweetly as you dropped his hand into his chest, your own hand resting on him. you smiled as he spoke up, your brain barely registering what he spoke as you fell further asleep.
‘falling in love with you wasn’t a part of my life plan’ his voice was raspy, spreading chills down your back. he picked your hand up, your fingers intertwining subconsciously as he feathered kisses across your knuckles. his eyes traced your face, your lips parted slightly, your breath hitting his chest. he took in your high cheekbones where your eyelashes rested atop. he watched as your eyebrows furrowed and you nuzzled further into his chest before he placed a kiss on the top of your forehead. ‘but i don’t regret it’

At the beach with Zion
Tumblr media
A/N: This is my first time writing in a couple of years I’m a little rusty so be nice to me! Thank you, I love you and I hope you like it. (Please leave feedback!)
On our third date, Zion took me to the beach. It was a very hot and humid day; you could feel the moisture in the air. He wore his usual uniform, a t-shirt, a pair of patterned shorts and white Adidas shoes. I decided to go with a loose fitted yellow polka-dotted sundress with a pair of black converse. Once we found a place to sit we laid out a blanket on the warm sand and set down the picnic basket and cooler Zion had brought. While setting up we conversed about our days so far, considering it was only midday there wasn’t much to talk about. My nerves took over me as I spread out the food; a set of veggie burgers, sweet potato fries, apple slices, garlic bread, and a ray of, now, slightly melted cheeses. I was honestly surprised, it looked like Zion had put a lot of thought into this picnic date and it warmed my heart. I looked up at the man before me. Zion was kneeling on the blanket as he shifted through the cooler. He swore under his breath. “The ice melted,” he frowned as he produced two dripping wet bottles of beer and handed me one as a bead of sweat slid down his eyebrow. “Sorry.” He said and sat back down. “Don’t be sorry, you can’t control the weather.” I shrugged. As he took a bite of his veggie burger, he started to explain how he’d recently decided to go vegan because of a documentary he watched on Netflix with one of his roommates just a couple of days ago. He had this sparkle in his eyes that appeared whenever he talked about something, he was passionate about. I wished it never leave.      “You have to watch it,” Zion said as he took a swig of his beer.      “I just wanna see how long this phase is gonna last,” I said as I reached up to tie my braided hair into a bun at the top of my head.      Zion moved his blond dreads out of his face and rolled his eye. “It’s not a phase, mom... It’s a lifestyle.” He said before polishing off his plate.          We ended up having a great conversation, lasting hours. We talked about anything and everything, from our favourite movies to the way we like to sleep, to our families. At some point, the conversation died down and the sound of the waves crashing and the squawking of a colony of seagulls filled my ears. My gaze subconsciously drifted down to Zion’s lips. His soft lips. Oh my fucking god. “You wanna go for a swim?” Zion’s voice sounded, interrupting my thoughts. “Hm?” I asked shifting my gaze back up to his eyes. “Yeah, of course." Zion shamelessly shrugged off his shirt threw it on the blanket. Trying hard not to stare, I meekly took off my dress.          The tide was high, the cold water hit right above my ankles. Zion took in a big breath and then said, “Fuck it.” And rushed into the water, splashing me in the process. I waded slowly into the water behind him. Zion and I spent a couple of hours swimming together and playing Marco Polo. “MARCO?” I called out, waiting for a reply. “Polo.” A calm voice said right next to my ear. Alarmed my eye flew open to find Zion standing behind me sporting the largest grin. “Ziooooon,” I moaned embarrassed covering my face with my hands. “Don’t scare me like that.” I could hear the water around me move as Zion swam over and removed my hands from my face. “Come one, Y/N! It was a joke.” When I looked up at him his brown eyes searched mine. My eyes drifted back to his lips once again, I couldn’t help myself. Time moved slowly. I reached up to move the hair out of his eyes. He leaned in and his soft lips pressed against mine. Had me weak in the knees like jello. He put a hand behind my head deepening the kiss. I could feel my anxiety run down from my chest, to my toes and into the ocean. The taste of his lips lingered when came up for air. “Thank you for an amazing day.”

summer love ; zion kuwonu
A/N: i had another account where i was posting these but somehow it got deleted, i don’t know why so i’m starting all over again. here, with 0 followers and nobody to read me lol.
A/N 2: please let me know if i should post the second part!!! there’s three parts to this one.
___________
It was a cold night, the moon peeks through the window illuminating his cheeks and letting me see his lashes resting on his cheekbones.
It made me sad, I didn’t want to leave him, but there was no other option. His calm breathing confirms that he is in a deep sleep, completely oblivious to what is happening in my head at this moment.
At the beginning of the summer, when I met him, I told myself that I should not fall in love, but it was impossible. His way of smiling, so pure and beautiful, made me fall for him in an unimaginable way. He knew he shouldn’t get used to me because I wouldn’t be here forever, but that did not seem to matter to him.
I wrote him a letter, I'm a coward, I can’t tell him everything I feel to his face. It would be impossible for me to leave. I left it on his bedside table and left his room carefully, trying not to wake him up, then, leaving his house without looking back. When he reads the letter, I know that he will try to find me immediately, but by then it will be too late.
«Hey, Z. I really do not know how to start this and I know you'll be hating on me later but trust me, it's for the good of both.
We both knew from the start that at the end of the summer I would have to leave, we knew that we shouldn’t have got used to being together because it would hurt in the end, and we still did.
I don’t know if I'm ever coming back, you know the reasons, but I want you to know that I loved meeting you, I wouldn’t have asked for someone else to spend the summer with, you were, you are and you will always be the right person.
Thank you for so many happy nights and days, thank you for agreeing to meet my family in such a short time, they loved you. Thank you for introducing me to your friends and say thank you to them for being so nice to me. Thank you for playing with my brother when he said he was bored, thanks for always giving me a smile and for always being so good and fun with me.
But more than anything, thank you for showing up by accident that day when i was lost, if it wasn’t for my clumsiness you would not have come to help me, and if it had not been for your big heart I would probably still be lost in the middle of nowhere, lol. I wish one day we could meet again, I love you, and good luck in everything.»

ABSOLUTE CHAOS WITH PRETTYMUCH (PRETTYBRUNCH Ver.)
A/N: this very quickly became nothing more than a glorified food fight. enjoy, i guess pfft
Tumblr media
• there's just something about being with your best friend(s) that can turn the quietest, most shy individuals into the most extroverted people to walk the earth • ‎video chatting with friends has a similar effect, especially when you haven't seen the other party for an extended amount of time • ‎what happens when you combine these two events is nothing short of absolute c h a o s • ‎in this case, the convening pals are you and the prettymuch boys. you had been out of town for a few weeks and wanted to meet up with them when you returned home. they were quick to agree and arranged for you to come over the day following your return (that way you'd have a little bit of time to yourself to relax and unpack your bags) • ‎the friends that the boys are video chatting with?? why it's none other than the beanz • ‎well, I suppose instagram lives don't really count as video chatting but you know what I meAn. it's still a viable form of communication and the absolutely adore interacting with the fandom. life's just been kind of hectic lately and they haven't had the chance to do much of anything with the beanz • ‎now that things have slowed down a bit and one of their closest friends is finally back home, why not do a live?? they all agreed it would be fun and you truly felt as if it would be a nice change of pace, too; interacting with people you love and who love you after weeks upon weeks of nothing but hecticness and disarray sounded like the perfect way to unwind • ‎ after a brief discussion, it was decided that you were to come over later in the morning (not everyone woke up at the same time and having you come over a bit later in the day ensured everyone was awake while also being well-rested) and would help them make brunch • ‎it would give you plenty of time to talk and catch up • ‎,,,, plus, they needed extra help cooking. edwin and brandon had unofficially been placed in charge of handling meals when everyone decided to sit down and eat together and sometimes it got just the teensiest bit tiring • ‎the moment you walked in the front door, though, you could see that things weren't going to be quite as laid back as you had assumed • ‎things were already lively and loud, all of the boys (except for caleb, who had answered the door when you rung the bell) having congregated in the kitchen. • ‎austin and edwin we're talking animatedly amongst each other, trying to set up the live. they were experiencing a series of technical difficulties (that really boiled down to some simple changes in the settings of the former male's phone. brandon and nick had begun to poke through the fridge, mulling over what they wanted to eat for breakfast • ‎it very quickly grew from a peaceful conversation to a loud (albeit friendly) argument over what kinds of breakfast foods were better • ‎you figured it would be best to help settle things between brandon and nick before things escalated further and became a full-blown food fight before you could even start cooking so you scurried over to them first, kicking off your sandals and dropping your bag by the door • ‎when they couldn't come to a decision after another solid minute and a half of conversation, you chose for them • ‎you had been dying for one french toast waffles. pair it with some bacon, fresh fruit, and hash rows and bAm, a whole meal • ‎pleased with your judgment, their bickering quelled • ‎at least for the time being • ‎it wasn't long before austin and edwin began the live and the six of you settled into everything • ‎you, Edwin, and brandon had moved behind the counter to start cooking, caleb was currently tending to music, and austin and nick were reading and responding to the growing stream of comments that trickled in • ‎it was pleasant enough at first. all of you were talking merrily amongst each other and answering whatever questions and comments happened to catch your eye • ‎and then caleb changed the song • ‎the action in and of itself isn't one that would bring about any unpleasant consequences • ‎it was the song itself that was the issue • ‎everyone has a hype song. this one just so happened to be a m u t u a l hype song • ‎meaning the moment everyone recognized what was playing, all hell broke loose • ‎caleb was the first to succumb to the excitement of the song. he had been pretty quiet this far, but the vibrations of the bass sank their talons into his being. he began to mouth the words, then sing along, then scream along as he gradually shifted out of his seat and began to dance • ‎nick followed suit shortly thereafter • ‎hip roll nation™ • catch half the boys jumping around and yelling 'Aye AYe aYe aYE ayE!" at the top of their lungs • it's like a frat party without the booze and loud freshmen • ‎brandon swayed along to the beat, eyes fluttering shut as he raised the whisk in his hand up to his mouth so that he could use it as a makeshift microphone • ‎which is fun, sure, but probably not the brightest thing to do when said whisk was just in a bowl of waffle batter • ‎needless to say, the front of his shirt was now caked in the liquid • ‎did he notice, though?? of course not • ‎because now he's got a whole performance going on and he's putting everything he's got into it • ‎which means he's really bustin down now. he's singing at the top of his lungs, he's hitting those runs, he's whipping around and throwing it back • ‎this also means that he has flung copious amounts of batter all over?? everyone?? • ‎this goes unnoticed by most but lordy lordy, he managed to get some in caleb's hair and that is a federal offense • ‎you k n o w the moment he feels a glob of sticky flour land in his hair he's gonna throw whatever he gets his hands-on • ‎given that there's an open container of eggs laying nearby and they fit so perfectly in the palm of his hand, it only makes sense that one is going to be airborne • he's huffin' and puffin', eyes firey as he lets out an exasperated "I know you didn't just-" and yeets the egg • ‎nothing ever works out the way they're intended, though, so it doesn't hit his initial target • ‎no, no, of course, it didn't • ‎you know who it d i d hit, though? • ‎y o u • ‎and you know what you're wearing?? • ‎a brand new shirt that is hands down the most comfortable article of clothing you own • ‎and now its sticky and wet and smells absolutely horrid • ‎and you know what you feel now?? • ‎nothing but pure, unadulterated rage. the fire of one thousand suns is blazing through your veins and you want nothing more than r e v e n g e • ‎aight, it isn't that intense but you reacted before you had the opportunity to process what had happened and develop a proper plan of action • ‎so, yeah, you started throwing food back • ‎you didn't settle for an egg or a spoonful of waffle batter • ‎you peeled open the lid of the whipped cream container that rested on the counter and sunk your hand in, scooping out as much of the sticky substance as you possibly could • ‎and, unlike some people, y o u d i d n t m i s s • ‎meaning that caleb is getting a face full of that sugary goodness • ‎by this point, no one is really paying attention to the comments on the live anymore (which were going insane, by the way. if everyone who viewed the live got a dollar every time someone said "hit edwin with the banana," they'd be rich) • ‎it wasn't long before all six of you were engaged in a battle of sustenance • ‎in layman's terms, a food fight • ‎it was?? horrible?? • ‎for a solid ten minutes, there was nothing in the air but choked cries and mushy food • ‎austin had managed to crawl onto the bar and was raining food down on everyone (quite the feat, actually, given how tall he is. if the ceiling were much lower, you were sure his head would have scraped the top of it). brandon and edwin had abandoned their positions beside you in favor of hiding behind the cabinets • ‎when their wooden shields didn't offer up enough protection, they sought out the lids of pots and pans for extra assistance • ‎caleb had armed himself in the hopes of deterring anyone from coming at him with more food • ‎his weapon of choice?? the kitchen towel, which he had wound tightly and was flicking at people whenever they got too close or looked like they were taking aim at him • ‎nick had taken up residence under the sink, hoping to wait out the fight • ‎which took an exceptional amount of time • ‎it wasn't until you had gone through about half of the food in the refrigerator that most of you came to your senses and called a truce • ‎it took a bit longer for the others to follow suit (cough cough, caleb and brandon cough cough) but they sooner calmed down as well • ‎the six of you could do nothing more than part for a while, faces flushed and hearts thumping erratically • when you cast your gaze across the room to the five men that were still strewn about like forgotten socks, you couldn't do much more than laugh • it reverberated off the walls, making everyone's bones rattle as warm grins split across their faces • it wasn't long before they, too, began to laugh • everyone but nick, that is • when the loud cries that tore themselves from everyone's throats had subsided into joyous laughter and lighthearted banter, he quietly crawled out from under the sink and stood, brushing as much food off of his clothing as possible • "hey, guys?" he'd chime, brows furrowing and lips drawing themselves into a thin line • "what are we gonna do about breakfast?" • all of you shared a look before moving toward the front door • you could shower and change later, you decided. none of you had been given the chance to eat and food was a lot more important than a few stains • no one noticed that austin's phone had been left on the counter, nor that the live stream hadn't ended.

Sloppy- Z.K (18+)
Very nsfw oops
Your knees aren't sore yet, thankfully, but it isn't because of your own self awareness.
In fact, your boyfriend, whom you're giving head to, had stopped you while his jeans were mid thigh just so he could slip a pillow underneath you.
Always so sweet, even when his dick is halfway down your throat, like it is now.
He uses one of his large hands to gently cup your jaw, and the other to grip the back of your neck as he looks down at the sight before him, watching his length dissapear behind your soft lips.
"Fuuuck, just like that baby-shit, gonna cum soon." He groans, thick thighs tensing underneath your fingertips as you grip onto him for leverage.
Then, you moan around him, and he twitches.
His hips begin to move with the rhythm of your mouth, and hand for what it's worth, considering it's almost impossible to fit all of him at once.
You can try though, and he fucking adores you for it. Truly, seeing you teary eyed and so fucking eager to make him feel good, it gives him butterflies.
You tap his thigh twice and his grip falters as you pause for air, small hand still wrapped around his thick length as you peer up at him through sodden lashes.
He reaches out to gently cup your face, wiping the corner of your mouth with his thumb.
"You're so fucking beautiful-oh, shit."
He barely has time to finish his sentence before your mouth is back on him, tongue swirling around his sensitive, rose colored tip.
"That fuckin' mouth is dangerous, mm." He groans, head thrown back and plump lips parted as if he has lost his breath for a moment. Seeing him so weak for you has heat pooling between your thighs.
"Gonna cum for me, daddy?"
Fuck. Fuck. You haven't used that before.
It's been talked about, but fuck, he didn't know hearing such a filthy word pass your pretty lips would have him melting underneath your touch.
"Fuck, yeah baby. Gonna swallow it all, hmm?"
You do.

heartstrings - z.k
a/n: as a birthday present to myself, i decided to bring back my loves!
Summed up: Meliae and Zion take their first trip together to the Big Island and attend Meliae’s family’s yearly work-do
Warnings: Fluff with implied mature content
Word count: 7.3k because I actually cannot shut up about these two
•••
For as long as Zion had known Meliae, he’d never seen her lose her cool.  Though she sometimes got a little flustered, in high-stress situations she’d stayed calm and in control.  Planning their trip back home, however, was a clear stressor that she wasn’t handling so well.
Between making phone calls figuring out their flights and packing, she didn’t have a moment to sit down and enjoy the fact she was taking her love home.  It was a joyous occasion, or it should have been.
This was something she’d wanted since she’d realised he was something long-term.  She had an overwhelming urge to share everything she loved with him and her home was one of those major things.  There was so much of her there and she wanted to share them with him more than anything, even the parts no one had seen before.
Unfortunately, being so caught up in her own feelings, Meliae almost didn’t notice Zion’s nerves.  It wasn’t till they were shopping for his suit that how he really felt began to show.
Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of him as he stepped out of the dressing room.  He’d picked out a classic suit to try on and she’d never seen him so handsome, though something was obviously off with him.
He stood in front of her and let her adjust the suit jacket and collar, “what do you think mamas?”
“You look dashing,” she said proudly but matched his quiet tone before pecking his cheek.  He was getting more fiddly and it only became more obvious to her when she took a step back to fully take him in.  “What do you think?”
He shook his head as he looked over himself in the wall-length mirror in front of him.  He tilted his chin up and fiddled some more with the collar before brushing the jacket down again.
“Are you comfortable?”
“I don’t know,” he mumbled as he squared his face to his reflection.
His uncertainty and distrust was painted over his face and it was one of those times she was thankful he was so expressive of his emotions.
“Zion,” she spoke softly to bring him out of his head.  He hummed in reply and though his eyes didn’t leave his reflection, his head moved in her direction, “where’s your head right now?”
He let out a deep breath and turned to face her fully, stepping closer so they were in their own safe bubble.
“What if they don’t like me?” he asked timidly, his eyes to the ground.  At his words, her lips ghosted over his forehead and her hands cupped his face, raising his head back up once again.  “This is real fuckin’ important to me and what if I do everything right and they still don’t-”
“-hey,” she cut him off, her voice still calm and her smile warm enough to melt his worries away, “that’s not going to happen.”
“You don’t know that,” he argued with raised eyebrows.
“I do, Zion,” she reassured him.  “I know my folks, they’re gonna like you.”
“How can you be so sure?” he asked with pleading eyes and though she stayed smiling up at him, it was as if he could hear the pang in her chest his voice created.
“Well,” she began as she brushed his hair out of his eyes, “you’re fine as fuck and taller than me so that basically does it.”  He’d playfully rolled his eyes with a scoff at her words, his posture adjusting a little too.
“And on top of that, you’re a good man and I’m so fuckin’ in love with you.  It would actually be stupid if they didn’t recognise that.”  He smiled down at her finally, his arms wrapping around her waist as he pulled her even closer to him.
“I’m so fuckin’ in love with you too.”
It wasn’t till the night before they were leaving that things had finally fully settled.  With the boy’s house being closer to the airport, they’d agree to spend the night there.  Their original plan had been to go to bed early but instead they ended up staying up late laying in the cool lighting of Zion’s blue LED lights with Simba asleep between them.
There was a sense of calmness that hadn’t been present in their lives much recently.  They each provided the other with warmth.  They spoke in hush voices and occasionally, she’d get him to sing to her.  There was so much they’d missed out on in the chaos of their lives and they were feeding one another’s souls in the orbit they’d created.  Their connection was growing as they talked about everything and nothing, somehow always finding a way to touch one another.
Barely 18 hours later, they were pulling up to Meliae’s childhood home some 2500 miles away from where they first met.  The house was something out of a movie, painted white with vines climbing up the sides and surrounded by well-kept flower beds of various colours.  The front lawn was fenced off with a white gate as the only entry.  Numerous hula hoops of all different colours littered the lawn and Zion could see just how it could pull out Meliae’s competitive spirit.
In the car, they’d gone over their game plan.  Knowing his nerves would likely be up the wall, they’d said they’d go up to her room first.  She knew her family was so used to people coming and going, the front door opening and closing wouldn’t draw attention, it never did.
Meliae’s room was what he’d imagined.  Her walls were a pastel blue and her bed and desk were neatly positioned so she could see out her window from them.  There was close to nothing on her walls and a rather full bookshelf stood opposite her bed.  Picture frames and soft toys lined some shelves and he went straight to it after putting their bags down.
The first photograph that caught his attention was one of Meliae and her siblings when they were much younger at the location of their first date.  It had been the only place he could think of that felt right and at the time, he had no idea why.
“This is in LA,” he said as he picked up the frame and turned to face her.
She was at the window but  turned to face him.  She nodded her head after she took a moment to figure out what photo he was talking about, “it was my first trip and when I decided I wanted to study there.”
He just nodded and turned the frame so it was facing her, “the fuck are you wearing?” he asked, fighting back one of his loud laughs.
“Watch yourself, Caleb,” she warned as she crossed her arms over her chest, “you seen what you were wearing 5 years ago?”  He just smiled in reply and put the picture frame back on the shelf.
With one last glance out the window, she walked back over to him.  She rose to her tippy toes as she wrapped her arms around his neck, dotting kisses to his jaw as she began to speak.
“You ready?”
“Mmhm,” he hummed as she kissed just below his ear.
Making sure they were properly looking at one another, her face became serious.  “Remember, if you need me to get us out at any point.”
“I know baby,” he said with a smile, “just kiss me for good luck.”  She mirrored his smile before kissing him, his hand cheekily smacking her butt as she parted from him.
Downstairs was filled with the familiar sounds of Kehlani, a comforting element that made Zion smile.  Her hand tightly held his as they rounded the corner to come to a standstill in the doorway of the kitchen.
Two women stood at the bench with their backs facing them.  They’d missed their arrival amidst their bickering but Meliae didn’t seem to mind.  She just waited and Zion stood behind her, his hand resting on her hip while she leant back into him.  He was unsure of himself and the situation but knew to wait it out.
“M, help me out here,” the shorter of the two women said, though neither of them turned.  Meliae, however, reacted and stood up straight.
“She’s right, Ma,” she crossed the room and wrapped her arms around who was now identified as her sister.
“What happened to Mother knows best, huh?” their Mother asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.
“Technically,” Meliae began as she gestured to her sister, “mother still knows best, just not our mother.”
What Zion knew of Ana was very little but he knew that she had a son who everyone adored.  Meliae had warned him that they looked alike, he was a bit taken-back by just how much they did.  The main difference was their height, one of them being significantly taller.
He watched from afar and did his best to remain confident.  He wanted them to have their moment before he introduced himself.  He was finding peace in doing so, he’d never seen Meliae smile as she was in person and it had him stuck to the ground, not paying attention to anything else around him.
He was almost fully back in the white room again as he admired her.  Their bodies and hearts moved as one, a much deeper connection being prominent in where they stood than the last time he’d been there.  The only reason he wasn’t fully there was that at any moment, she could begin to introduce him.
It came after her mother had scattered kisses all over her face and with Meliae reaching her hand out for Zion.  He approached nonchalantly and offered his hand to her mother, a little smile resting on his face as he did so.
“I’m Zion,” he said with Meliae’s hand resting on his back, “it’s so nice to finally meet you Mrs-”
“-oh please, none of that,” the curly-haired woman replied as she dismissed him with a singular swat of her hand, “call me Tillie, everyone else does and we don’t shake hands in this family.”
“Okay,” he chuckled as she opened her arms and embraced the young man.
“Welcome dear, we’re so happy to finally meet you and have you here.”
“I’m really happy to be here,” he replied as he stepped away from her, his hand instinctively reaching out to rest on the small of Meliae’s back.
Ana introduced herself next with a kiss and a hug.  She mentioned very quickly that Meliae had spoken very highly of him at Christmas and that he was much prettier in person.  Though Meliae was quick to cut her sister off, it didn’t seem quick enough and she was quickly sending her outside with word her son was running around naked.
Meliae turned back to Tillie once her sister was gone and voiced her inquiries about the following day.  It had been said she’d be working at the children’s do but she wanted to confirm and figure out exactly what was going on.  Her Mum, as mums often do, had all the answers.  They talked briefly about it before being cut off by the appearance of a young boy who Zion had seen many photos of.
Jacob seemed much smaller in person and made a direct beeline to where Zion and Meliae stood.  He was in his Aunty’s arms in seconds, his tiny arms wrapped around her neck with his head tucked away.  He watched, admiring the curly-haired boy and the sweet way she was talking to him.
Jacob was quick to introduce himself and charm his way into Zion’s heart upon noticing him.  He wanted to know if he had any tattoos and when Zion crouched down to his height, he only got more excited.  The young boy talked to him until the calmness of the kitchen was interrupted by a Jersey accent that brought Zion to his full height again.
“Oh, he’s tall,” the Jersey man spoke from behind Ana.  He was looking directly at Zion and though his voice was intimidating, the man was not in appearance.  He was shorter than Meliae and had a joyous smile that he quickly placed with the little boy in front of him.
“Pretty too,” Ana added on with a nod of her head.
“Got ears too,” Meliae said as she crossed her arms, her eyebrows raised at the two.
The couple looked at her just for a moment and when their eyes turned back to Zion, the Jersey man stepped forward.  He dapped him up as he introduced himself as Charlie, Ana’s partner and Jacob’s dad.  Zion went to introduce himself but was cut off by an excited Jacob, who wanted the three of them to go back outside and play.
Though there was an initial cloud of uncertainty that floated above Zion’s head, it wasn’t long till he was running around with Jacob.  The little boy was only four but had an imagination that spread wider than the seven seas.  It was second nature to play along with where his stories took them and time passed like it was nothing.  They were in some other world, prancing around the large backyard that seemingly went on forever.
Only when they plopped down on the ground after a race did Zion notice just how much time had passed.  The sun was much lower in the sky now but still, he was covered in a layer of sweat. He peeled his shirt off, regretting his decision to wear a black long-sleeved shirt yet again and threw it off to the side.  Of course, with his shirt off, his tattoos were on full display.
Jacob was curious straight off the bat and began to ask many questions.  Zion answered his questions as best he could and let him trace them.  When he mentioned that he had tattoos for the band and his parents, he was informed that Meliae had a tattoo for her nephew, though he wouldn’t say where.  It left him searching her naked body in his mind, his silent concentration an amusement to Jacob.
“Do you love my aunty?” he asked, surprising Zion a little as it brought a blush to his cheeks.
He cleared his throat, pulled away from where his mind currently was to smile at the boy, “yeah, I uh, I really do.”
“That’s good,” Jacob replied as he touched Appa on the top of his arm, “she loves you, my Mumma said so.”
Zion smiled at him before pulling him in for a hug, the boy giggling as he fell into his lap.  He wrapped his arms around Zion and he couldn’t help but feel warm.
With the sun lowered, a golden haze shone over the family as Zion and Jacob approached in a race, both out of breath and sweaty as they arrived.  They all looked ethereal as they sat relaxed drinking their chosen cold beverages and snacking on grapes straight from the vine that wrapped around the fence of their back garden.
Meliae stood from where she sat upon seeing the two and smiled at them.  His shoulders dropped at the way her smile seemed to reach every part of him.  She brought him peace at that moment, maybe even more so as her eyes not so subtly travelled down his bare torso.
Meliae’s dad, or Doc as everyone called him, and her younger brother Dylan greeted him much like the rest of her family, warm smiles and open arms, though they just slapped hands.  He was offered a cold beer and after accepting it, Meliae got him to sit in the chair she was in before.  She was pulled into his lap without a second thought, the two of them feeling at home with his arm around her, both with drinks in hand.
It was then Ana had stood with important news that had brought the ‘lovebirds’ as she referred to them to the big island.  She was expecting again and though everyone already knew, cheering sounded from everyone, Jacob clapping his hands together as he stared up at his parents.  A few jokes were made and after she’d hugged her parents, she’d turned to Meliae with a very serious look on her face.
“Gimme a week,” she ordered, causing Meliae to raise her eyebrows at her.
“16,” she answered without missing a beat and Zion learnt a hidden talent about his girl he wouldn’t have even thought to be a thing.
Their evening went by without a bump.  There was laughter and jokes that made Zion feel at home.  Much like Meliae had done with his family, he fit right in.  In no way did it feel like it was the first time he was meeting them.
And he was so glad.  With his hand on Meliae’s thigh, he accepted Tillie’s toast to new life and new family with a smile that Meliae admired.  He was finally calm again, grounded as he guided his way through a maze that had once seemed so daunting.  They were both happy as they deserved to be.
Back inside, Ana and Meliae were assigned to clean-up duty, despite being home for the first time in several months.  Zion was about to offer to help when Jacob asked if they could look at old photos.  Charlie called after him to see if he wanted to look too and he couldn’t turn the opportunity down.  Dylan was asked if he wanted to join too but he just shook his head saying he was retiring to his room for the night.
By the time they’d finished cleaning up, they still hadn’t gotten through all of Ana’s baby photos.  Their parents had made it so each child's first four years were in their own sections and all together.  Meliae sat down next to Zion as she saw what they were doing.
“He’s your son,” she spoke to Charlie as she glanced over the photos they were looking at, “but he’s the spitting image of his Mumma.”  He agreed in silence and when the page was turned, they were greeted by a little baby Meliae.
Zion knew without being told it was her.  A beaming smile graced his face and his chest filled with a rush of warmth.  He leant forward to examine the photos better and somehow, his smile grew even more.
“You were so cute,” he said with his joy clear in his voice.
“What do you mean were?” she replied as she smiled at him hunched over photos of her.
He ignored her comment, letting it fly over his head completely.  “Your cheeks mamas, they were so big.”
She could only giggle and watch him with a smile.  They were alone now, Ana had ushered Jacob and Charlie away once she’d noticed a look on Zion’s face she knew all too well.
He continued to flick through the photos, his smile never once dropping.  Upon seeing photos of baby Meliae in her first bubble bath, her hair fashioned into a Jack-Jack-like do, he almost giggled.
“I can’t wait till we have our own,” he said with a shake of his head.
It seemed subconscious and the way he spoke so calmly made it clear it wasn’t the first time the thought had crossed his mind.  He was so wrapped up in the photos he didn’t notice her reaction.  The swell in her chest and prickle that ignited behind her eyes was unexpected but she did her best to hide them.  She leant back against the couch and took a deep breath, focusing on him cooing over her and her baby curls.
“I love you,” she said as he sat back up, her hand placed on his back.  The sudden confession surprised him a little and when he went to say it back, she just shook her head, “just want you to know.”
“Okay,” he replied before he leant over her, his arm crossed over her body as he kissed her.  Though they’d said no kissing while being there, it felt needed at that moment, a simple peck not seeming enough to express how she felt.
It was silently decided that it was the perfect time for Meliae to take him to her favourite place.  She’d mentioned that she planned to take him that night and really, they only wanted to be with one another.  It wasn’t too far, she’d told him, so they walked hand-in-hand as a comfortable silence settled around them.
She only stopped them when they passed a minor opening.  The pathway was narrow and slightly overgrown but brought them directly to the beach right as the sky was beginning to say goodbye to the sun.  It was a sight to see, something nothing would compare to for a very long time.
The sky was a vibrant pink with orange streaks and as the ocean was calm, it reflected beautifully on its surface.  It was no surprise to Zion that Meliae was already taking her shoes off as she spoke, he wasn’t too far behind her.  The ocean was too tempting in the warm weather.
“I used to come here a lot,” she said as she dropped her things on the ground, “people never seemed to be here.  I can’t tell you how many nights I came here to cry or just be one with the ocean.”
“You really do start and end with the moana, huh?” he asked as he took her hand again, leading her off to the water.  She just nodded her head and smiled at him.
A sense of serenity fell around them as they wadded through the water, their bodies close as they made each other laugh.  The love that was growing within Meliae and the warmth that reached every part of Zion was felt far beyond just the two of them.  So much so that the ever-changing colours of the sky were painted from their hearts.
As they danced across the sand to the sounds of the waves, he started to sing.  He didn’t need to think twice about which song, it was as if the ocean had told him and her reaction told him it was the exact song she wanted to hear.
She sang quietly with him at first but when the chorus hit, the two were yelling it at the top of their lungs, jumping and dancing around one another.  For the rest of the song, they continued that way to one another, always making sure to stay connected in one way or another.  The bridge brought them close together, his arm wrapped tightly around her waist as she dotted kisses over his face.
The sounds of the waves meeting the sand filled the still around them as they came to lay in the sand.  They both let it wash over them as she blindly reached her hand out to find him.  She kissed his knuckles and held it to her lower stomach, a sigh of content falling from her lips.
“Thank you for doing this with me,” she said quietly after a few moments, “I’m so grateful for you.”
Though she stayed looking at the sky, Zion rolled onto his side so he was facing her.  With his head propped up in his hand, he carefully studied the sincere expression she wore.
“You do so much for me and I don’t think I’ve ever really,” she shook her head as she choked up, unable to finish her sentence.  She groaned as she covered her face with her hands, quietly cursing herself for not being able to get what she needed out without crying.
Zion just pressed a kiss to her tattooed wrist as he brushed some of her hair out of her face.  He waited for her to continue, knowing she’d want to be able to tell him in full without interruption.
After letting out a shaky breath, her eyes met Zion’s again, “you’re always there when I need you and you make life so much better, in ways I would’ve never seen for me.”
They stayed silent as he laid back on his back again, still placing kisses to her arm while they watched the clouds in the sky change.
“You’re my everything,” he said after a while, his hand rubbing her belly subconsciously.
Heading back home that night was rather difficult.  Neither of them wanted to part ways with the ocean.  But it was starting to get cold and jet lag was getting the best of them.  Nothing sounded better than being cuddled up and sleeping at that moment.
Meliae half expected her parents to stop them from actually sleeping in her room together when they got back.  It had always been a rule in their household, not that she’d ever actually needed to obey it.  She was always the only one in her bed.
Nothing was said, however, when they said goodnight to her parents who were sitting outside having a drink together.  Nothing, of course, if you considered her dad noting that one and a half grandchildren would be okay for the time being.  Meliae chose to ignore it and took Zion upstairs without even addressing it.
“Would you consider it?” Zion asked as they started getting changed for bed.
“Consider what?” she asked, not turning to look at him as she pulled her shirt off.
“Sex.”
He didn’t get a reply.  Instead, she threw his sweatpants at him and got into bed.  He just shook his head and got in beside her after he’d put them on.  He pulled her closer to him, wrapping his body around hers as they settled into a peaceful slumber.
Saturday morning began with Meliae painting Jacob and Zion’s faces and ended with the boys full of candy floss and her spotted with various colours.  It was news to him that she was so good at painting faces but it seemed she did it every year she was there.  She seemed to quite enjoy it, maybe even more so as she got to see her love with a dinosaur on his cheek and butterflies by his eyes.
Jacob loved having Zion by his side throughout the carnival.  They did everything that interested the little boy and occasionally, Meliae got a glimpse of the pair.  Her brain did wander a few times, thoughts of what-if circling upon seeing her love being dragged around with the biggest smile on his face.
Late Saturday afternoon, however, was filled with nerves.  The dinner was the main event and where she’d have to greet whoever was attending and answer whatever questions they would have for her.  They arrived back home with two and a half hours until they had to leave again and she was quite looking forward to being locked away in her room with Zion.
They were halfway up the stairs when a familiar yell brought them both to a stop, Ana appearing at the bottom on the staircase in a white robe, her hair wrapped in a towel on top of her head.
“You can’t get dressed together,” she said as if it was obvious when they turned to face her.
“What are you on?” Meliae asked back while Zion just looked between the two of them.
“He can’t see you till you’re fully ready,” again, a duh look was plastered over her face.
There was a pause of silence while Meliae just stared at her sister with no expression.  It was one of those moments where it was clear they were talking but nothing was being said aloud.
“Why are you so dramatic?” she mumbled breaking her silence and giving in to her sister’s weird need.  She turned to Zion and kissed his cheek, “I guess I’ll see you soon.”  So they parted ways, neither of them really wanting to.
Zion came back downstairs an hour and a half later with his tie in hand.  He’d taken his time getting ready, but still, he’d beaten Meliae.  He went to the family room where he found Charlie and Jacob stood in front of the wall-length mirror beside one another.  They were doing their ties, one of them succeeding while the others looked a bit like one of Simba’s toys.
Jacob came bouncing over to where he sat on the couch once Charlie had redone his tie and plopped down beside him.  He beamed up at him and began to talk as his dad sat down too.
“Aunty looks very pretty,” he stated finally as if he’d been waiting to tell someone for the longest time.
Zion smiled back at him, resisting the urge he had to ruffle his hair, “you seen her, huh?”
He nodded his head violently back at him and both Charlie and Zion bit back laughs, “I had to get my socks.”
For the next twenty minutes, they sat and talked waiting on everyone else.  Apparently, Ana was big on dramatic reveals when it came to these events.  She almost always insisted on picking out what Meliae was to wear which is another reason why she’d stolen her so quickly.  It was strange to Zion but from what he knew of her, it made sense.
Ana walked in fussing about things he didn’t understand and her boys stood to greet her.  They both kissed her before she checked over them.  She straightened Charlie’s tie before he checked over her quickly, both of them happy to say they were ready to go.  The dress she wore was flattering and made her seem taller.  It brought your attention to her baby bump proudly and Zion couldn’t help but stare, he hadn’t seen many baby bumps in his years.
He stayed seated, leant back as he fiddled with his tie.  He heard Meliae before he saw her, questions of if she was too tall sounding out.  He turned to where she stood at the mirror, ready to tell her there was no such thing as too tall.  But instead, fuck was the only word that fell from his mouth.  No other word seemed right as he stood up from the couch, his eyes trailing over her body.
She wore a satin gown that looked to be made just for her.  It brought attention to the beautiful curve of her hips and the champagne colour complimented her brown skin in the best way.  When she turned to face him, he caught a flash of her tattoo that wrapped around the right side of her rib cage, something he loved very much.
Never before had he seen her in such a dress or so dressed up and he was struggling to properly process what he was seeing.  He was just hearing white noise as he crossed the room to stand with her, not sure of what else to do.
“Fuck,” he mumbled again as he stood behind her, his body pressed into the generous curve of her ass.
He examined her body in the mirror, his right hand dragging up her thigh and over her hip before she stopped him.  He identified a Fenty Beauty product over her collar bones that naturally drew in the light and the attention up from her breasts.  The neckline of the gown made it so that her breasts would have to be very well behaved as to not make an appearance that night.
She looked so elegant and to him, like an absolute goddess.  They were much closer in height with her in heels.  Instead of having their usual 6-inch height difference, there was barely two inches between them.
“Thoughts?” she asked him quietly as their eyes finally met in the mirror.
He shook his head and dragged his tongue over his bottom lip slowly, “you’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”  She smiled as she turned to face him, her hands instantly going to adjust his suit jacket and collar.
“How are they stayin’ like that?” he asked lowly, his eyes focused on her chest.
“Boob tape,” she replied as she tapped her index finger under his chin to get him to look up.
“Behave, my love,” she said as she took his tie from his hands, wrapping it around his wrists as she pecked his lips, “I won’t be able to sneak off and take care of you tonight, I’ll be missed.”  She smiled at him sweetly before beginning a Windsors knot, noticing his gulp at her words.
Dylan had come in just after Meliae and she quickly checked him over before it was confirmed they were all ready to go.  As if on cue, their parents came downstairs and announced that it was picture time.
On their commute, Zion could see how her anxiety was building up.  He got her attention with his thumb rubbing soft circles over the back of her hand and when she met his eyes he mirrored her breathing.  He’d purposely learnt her breathing exercises for moments like these.
They arrived 30 minutes before guests were expected to arrive and everyone was hectic as they prepared the final things.  Meliae had separated from them almost the moment they’d stepped inside to offer help to someone.  Her dad went to yell after her but Ana stopped him and told him she wouldn’t listen either way.
At their table, Charlie was quick to tell Zion that most of their evening would be spent there.  Drinks and food were free and endless but he was warned to pace himself, it seemed a much younger Charlie had not had a good time his first year in attendance.
While everyone was off greeting people, Jacob and Zion played around on his phone, taking silly selfies with the filters Instagram had to offer and playing a game he’d downloaded with the intent of them playing it together.  It made time pass quite quickly, though he made sure to keep an eye on Meliae so that if he was ever needed, she’d be able to catch his eye with ease.
He had a flute of champagne with her name on it for when a break in the flow of guests greeting her.  It would be a great excuse for her to have a few seconds to herself and when it came, it seemed needed.
She greeted him with a warm smile, her posture raising as he got closer.  He slipped his arm around her and got nice and close to her.
“How are you going?” he asked quietly as he dipped his head to press a quick kiss to her neck, not bothering to check if anyone was looking at them.  She didn’t mind and simply tilted her head so it was easier for him.
“Good, no one’s said anything rude yet though one old man did mention I was incredibly tall and I wasn’t sure if it was nice or not so I just said I was wearing insane heels.”  Zion smiled at that and her eyes finally fell to his hand.
“This is for you,” he said as he offered her the flute.
She took a sharp intake of air as if she was surprised before shaking her head, “I’m too nervous to drink.”  He waited for her to explain further with squinted eyes and his head tilted.
“You’ve seen it before,” she said as she placed her hand on his chest.  He just shook his head and scrunched his nose.  “Remember when we first met, I literally left you with no way to ever find me again.”
He stared back at her for a moment, eyebrows raised as he processed what she’d said.  Never had the thought crossed his mind that she was nervous that night.  He truly thought it was all to be mysterious or to trust fate.  She did everything with intention, he’d always assumed that night her intention was to leave a lasting impression on him.
“I was nervous too, that night,” he said after a prolonged silence.
“No shit, your hands were the worst they’ve ever been.”
“Thank you, baby,” he said sarcastically and she giggled as she cupped his chin in her hand gently.
“I guess this is mine,” he said as he looked at the flute of champagne.  He gulped it down before kissing her goodbye, winking as he left.
Back at the table, Charlie informed Zion that he had both his and Ana’s permission to post a selfie on his story that he’d just taken with Jacob.  He had melted directly after they’d taken it and saved it quickly to his phone before showing it to Charlie.  It was one of those moments he just felt the urge to share on social media which was a little odd for him.
The only reason he’d opened the app that night was to kill time.  During their time on the Big Island, he hadn’t thought about social media once.  It was rare he did when he was with Meliae.  Occasionally he’d show her a meme or a video he found funny but for the most part it never really came up in conversation, mostly because she’d gone close to two years without it.  He found it nice to go somewhere where he could forget all about it for a while.
Nick, as he so often did, had noticed Zion’s growing urge to post his girl on his socials.  He’d purposely brought up the idea of how Zion was going to go about him posting her about a week or so before and as he looked at her from their table, all he could think about was showing her off.
They’d said that a one-year post would be a safe place to start, especially as it would come around the same time Meliae would be able to reactivate her accounts if she chose to.  Even though it was close, he was eager to see if he could post sooner.  He made a note in the back of his head to get a few more pictures that night, hoping one of them would feel right to post if Meliae gave him the okay.
Once everyone was seated at the table for dinner, time started to move by very quickly.  There was an endless supply of conversation and laughter as they talked within their immediate family.  There were stories told of previous encounters before they shared their weirdest ones from that year.  It was joyous, in the simplest of ways, not an ounce of anxiety present.
The speeches were the longest part of the night and began with Jacob climbing into Zion’s lap and cuddled into him.  At first, he didn’t know how to react but Meliae helped him by telling him to just hug him and that he’d fall asleep if he wanted to.  It didn’t take him long to fall in love with the feeling of a little human feeling safe enough to choose him over everyone else to sleep on.
The final speech came from Meliae’s Dad and Pa, the man who owned and ran the business.  He wasn’t fully ready to retire and hand the company fully down to his son so they just did it together.  The speech they did felt like the dynamic that they brought to the workplace.  A mixture of tradition and modern, her Pa choosing to speak in his native tongue while her Dad spoke in English.
It came to an end with a toast to welcome all those who were new to the family, whether they were new employees, partners or unborn children, they were all loved and welcomed.  Doc raised his flute of champagne towards their table and caught Zion’s eye with a nod of his head as if to say ‘this one’s for you.’
Meliae’s Pa was a short, old man.  Everyone stood when they got close, Zion still holding Jacob as he watched everyone greet him.  When he turned to Zion, he smiled up at him and nodded his head to Meliae quickly.
“It’s nice to meet you, Sir,” Zion said after clearing his throat.  He leant forward and dipped his head down so as their noses could meet.  With Pa’s hand Zion’s arm, they stayed connected, letting a moment and a breath pass before they parted.
“You do right by Talia, you will be fine,” he said with a nod of his head before he bid them all a goodbye with a simple ‘fa’ and a wave of his hand.
“Why Talia?” Zion asked as they sat back down, Jacob remaining undisturbed in his lap.
“My middle name is his Mother’s name so he just calls me that.”
Before the night ended, they managed to slip away from the party and made their way outside to the resort’s gardens.  Fairy lights hung from invisible lines above them and lined the night sky as the stars do.  They walked together, admiring the garden and enjoying just being by themselves again.
Zion in his slightly tipsy state was much more handsy in the privacy of the garden.  With his hands on her hips and lips to her neck, Meliae laughed, her nails dragging on the back of his neck as she accepted him into her body.  He left each kiss with a compliment on how she looked, showering her in affection that she’d been deprived of.
“You gon’ let me take more photos of you?” he asked as he stood up straight again.
“Don’t have enough already?” she asked back, her hands lingering over his loosened tie.
He shook his head and before she could say no, pulled out his phone and stepped away from her.  She couldn’t protest as he became her professional photographer and her hype man.  She giggled and blushed throughout their mini photoshoot before getting him to stand with her, insisting they get photos of the both of them.
He stood behind her and leant down a little so it was easier for them to both get in frame.  She’d taken her heels off when they’d first found the garden, having left them where she took them off.  No one was going to take them and if they did and they fit them, they could have them.
Once he’d successfully found the best lighting for them, they both smiled with their eyes closed and chins tilted up towards the camera.  The second one Zion puckered his lips and pressed them to her cheek while she giggled, the final being taken by accident on them both laughing.  They both looked over them with smiles.
“I’ma post this one,” he said as she started to kiss his neck.
She just hummed against him as she turned more into him, her lips still on his neck.  She brought his lips to her and cut him off, the urge to feel him growing to an all-time high.  The taste of champagne on his tongue made her smile as she undid his tie and begun to unbutton his shirt.
“What is with you and fuckin’ in public?” he asked as he picked her up.  She only giggled as she wrapped her arms fully around his neck, kissing him again, completely addicted to him.
Two days later, they were on the plane back to LA.  Meliae was asleep and cuddled into Zion’s chest while he looked through all the photos they’d taken on their trip.  They’d had a proper conversation about him posting one of the photos on his story and she gave him the all-clear, seeing nothing wrong with it.
He wanted to post it then before he too fell asleep.  He wanted to say something on it so it didn’t seem so mysterious and there was only one caption that made sense to pair with the blurred photo of them smiling.  He pressed a kiss to the top of his girl’s head before posting it.
Somewhere in there, a prayer and promise was made.  Meliae wouldn’t know it yet but he knew as he fell asleep that he was being truthful with his chosen words.  Much like how he saw that she began and ended with the ocean, he felt as if they did too.

Spooky date? (Z.K)
You and the friend group decided to have a spooky szn small party. Of course the boys were the host and you helped set up for the night. When you first met the boys back in 2017, Zion was someone you always had a crush on, and to this day you still had the biggest crush on him. Everyone in the friend group knew but him, it was how it worked. But it was safe to say you both had really big feelings for each other and neither of you knew. Tonight’s activities were watching movies, carving pumpkins, making cookies and putting up fun Halloween decorations.
“Hey mamas, set the pumpkins over there please”, Z pointed at the table with the pumpkin carving utensils on it. You nodded and began setting the pumpkins up. Some of them were big and some were small, knowing everyone was gonna wanna do something different. Nick and Edwin started cooking some food to go with the snacks that was already set up. Making chicken, rice and vegetables being that it was meal everyone ate.
“Mm team work makes the dream work. Ed and Nick that smells so good!”, you bothered them with light hugs. They both smiled knowing at least one person appreciated their hard work. You sat on the counter eating candy corn because it was just that season. Zion comes and spreads your legs apart to stand in between them.
“Y’all look a little cozy there, hm?”, Brandon made faces at the two of you. Zion’s response was putting his arms around your waist and flipping off Brandon. You let out a laugh and rubbed his back like you always do when it’s just you two cuddling in his room or on the couch.
“Less talking more helping people”, Austin joked. You and Z pulled away, and he helped you don’t from the counter. Not that you needed help but it was just a better way of getting closer to you. After an hour the party was in swing. You and the girls were over by the pumpkins while the boys were dancing around to the playlist Edwin made and baking cookies. Or at least attempting to bake them.
“What’s up with you and Z girly?”, Maggie sparked a question. You sent a playful glare at her.
“Nothing is going on, we’re just friends”, you looked at the group. They all gave you a knowing looking basically saying “quit lying you like him and you know that”. You just decided to ignore them and smiled.
“Baby, what are you making?”, Zion came behind you and asked quietly.
“I’m tryna make a face but it’s not working”, you look up at him.
“You’re seriously adorable mamas”, he laughs and makes you stand up from the chair, after you stand up a little he sits down.
“Z, you can’t just steal my chair. I kinda need it”, you said.
“Do you want help or not?”, he pulled you down into his lap and began to work your hands around the pumpkin. Maggie recorded you guys and posted it on her close friends story with a caption that said “awe look at their spooky date🎃🧡” .
“And there you go ma, all done”, his eyes looked between you and the pumpkin you guys just got done carving.
“Thanks to you”, you turned around and smiled. Zion placed a small kiss on your cheek and grabbed you gently to get up so he could get some food being that it was ready now. As soon as he walked out of eye shot, the girls tuned to you with looks.
“What?”, you blushed.
“We’re just friends my ass. You guys like each other Y/n”, Izzy says.
“Oh stop it , that’s not true. He’s my best friend”, you blushed.
“Just best friends don’t call each other baby or mamas or love”, Haley winked. She has a point there because you guys do things that are not things friends do. Getting ripped out of your conversation by Zion calling out to you.
“Mamas !! Come here for a second”, Z yelled from the kitchen.
“Im coming Z, give me a second ”, you yelled back and rolled your eyes. You and the girls laugh at how needy he’s acting.
“Hurry yo ass up, come taste this because I know you didn’t eat”, he yells again. You get up and walk towards the kitchen, Zion he made your plate for you.
“Awe Caleb you made me a plate of food? Thank you bubba”, you kissed his cheek.
“Oh y’all dating dating?”, Nick looked between you guys. You and Zion give Nick a look and then continue eating.
“Y’all are deadass the same person”, Neviah laughs along with Twiggy and Brandon who’s cuddled up with Maggie on the couch.
“Don’t worry about us”, Zion winked at you. This is what confused you, does this mean he feels the same way or is he just messing around. After everyone else gets done eating, it was time to eat cookies and watch Halloween based movies.
“Hmm what’s the movie tonight?”, you asked everyone sitting either on the couch or the floor.
“Well me and you have a spooky date to get to which is just us time”, before you had a chance to think Zion picked you up from your spot on the couch.
“Caleb!”, you looked at him and he smiled walking up the stairs to his room. He dropped you on the bed and began looking for something, he pulls out a bag that had all your favorite snacks including some festive snacks for the Halloween season.
“Let’s watch a movie, yeah?”, he leaned down and kissed your cheek. Your heart started beating real fast and you thought quickly, before he could pull away you grabbed him and kissed his lips. You’ve been looking at them all night because of how soft they looked and one of your weaknesses about him was his lips and his dimples being a close second.
“Mm your lips are as soft as they look”, you bit your lip.
“I knew you were looking at my lips during the evening but I didn’t wanna say anything cause I thought I was tripping”, giving you that award winning smiling of his.
“Oh whatever Caleb”, you pushed his shoulder and he laughed. He sits next to you opening up the snacks and turns on The Nightmare Before Christmas knowing it’s a movie you enjoy watching. All of sudden Simba comes and lays with you guys.
“Hi baby, I haven’t seen you all night”, leaning and giving Simba a kiss on his head.
“Where’s my kiss?”, Zion pouts playfully. You rolled your eyes and kissed him once again. He squeezes your waist and kissed your forehead.
“Best spooky date ever”, he smiles once again. You nodded in agreement.
“Best spooky date ever”, you popped some candy corn in your mouth and layed with Zion’s arms wrapped tightly around you and Simba laying down near your feet.

zion concept
“wanna retwist my dreads for me?” he’d asked you one day, his hands subconsciously running through his hair, knowing he needed it done badly. you nodded, sitting up on the couch. “of course.” zion jogged into the bathroom, grabbing some clips and some twist and lock gel for you to use. you beckoned him to sit on the chair, standing in between his legs and beginning the work of sectioning his hair off. usually twisting his hair didn’t take that long, as your fingers moved at a rapid pace, but today, zion was a lot more touchy. his hands running up and down your sides, sometimes squeezing on your butt, to which you’d swat them away, needing to focus. he’d trace his fingers over your stomach, especially when you’d lift your hands to reach the back of his head, and your tank top would ride up. “z!” you’d say, your tone warning, but he knew you weren’t being too serious, instead giving you a sheepish grin which caused his dimples to show. “sorry baby, you’re just looking right in this outfit.”
