I barely go on twitter anymore cause it's fucking toxic and maybe i should never go back at all cause few days ago i open the damn app and the first thing i saw is a zarrie and a larrie shipper arguing about what ship is the realest and throwing at each other faces """proofs""" (in fucking 2023) of how hword was hinting in his songs/interviews ecc at his romantic passionete relationship with one of them like lmao i can't even get fully mad cause it's so fucking ridiculous. I wanna make clear i dislike everyone who after 2000 years of the band ending still ships romantically any of them but call me biased while all shippers are toxic in a way, no one reached the level of the ships who involve styles as part of the pair damn not even ziammies are that crazy

The interesting part is the huge magiority of larries,zarries, narries ecc are actually pretty much solo harries they don't really care,listen or support the other part involved in the ship they just need those men to fulfill their weird fantasies.

For what i saw harries can be divided into 2 categories the one who ship him with someone of the band or taylor swift and the ones who totally despise the other four and taylor

Still they seem to believe thier own fav alone isn't interesting enough cause why would they argue about who their fav music is about if they truly are there cause they enjoy it or why would they bring any of the orhers, mostly zayn and louis, i'll never understand the obsession harries have with these two (actually maybe i do i'm obsessed with them as well after all) but why bringing them into every success/achievement their fav reaches, why bring the others down in order lift him up cause every time they compare him to one of the other even if they love to blab about how he is more succesfull and rich and ecc but we all know why he is all of that don't we they are just treating the others like the standard, styles release a new music video so let's pretend to be a louie so i can bring him into the table and insult him, didn't they made associations with taylor too? I didn't want to look into the video cause i despise him and since i appreciate and admire taylor a lot i don't focus on the ship i just give attention to her music and her success (harries wouldn't know what i mean) also styles gets nominated for a grammy? Let's talk about how zayn isn't enough to get one (even if everyone atp should know they are fucking racists and elitists) louis releases a documentary? Harries tries to sabatage it cause they think their fav is more deserving of one and it would be more interesting, someone makes a funko pop of zayn? Let's harrass them cause it should have been one of styles instead cause he's so much better and ecc ecc there's many more examples but you get what i'm trying to say? Do they think their fav isn't enough on his own? that he isn't that interesting and worth of time and attention by himself they feel the need to either associate him romantically with other celebrities to write fanfictions, or to bring them into everything he says or does in order to tear them apart like they did with liam after the paul interview everyone was praising styles for eating a scorpion(?? i don't even remember) in order to not bad mouth the others while liam was so openly disrespecting zayn as if they ever cared about him as if they weren't the first ones to say shit about zayn. Listen call me crazy but i'm seriously starting to believe harries don't really care about styles he is the moment, the celebrity everyone is talking about (good or bad doesn't really matter to them) but do they genuinely care about his music, his art? I don't think so, tbh i'm only annoyed cause i wish they would leave the other guys and taylor alone, i think he has the fans he deserves disrespectful,invasive and hateful he thinks low of them and they think low of him perfect if they didn't bring others into the mix

It’s good when it’s Harry Styles, right? Is he transgender? If you buy his stuff, he’ll be anything you want him to be.

His team datamines and scours Spotify algorithms to construct viral songs for him, but the songs sound as unoriginal and inoffensive as one would expect, completely smooth and devoid of expression like Harry’s forehead.

His PR combs through the internet to suppress and delete negative news, 24/7/365, always working. Harry’s conservative and Zionist politics get scrubbed away and no one talks about it. But get him impromptu, and he says some truly dumb, unfortunate shit. Zarries honestly think Zayn would tolerate this man? Especially with a daughter who has Palestinian ancestry?

Harry winks and smirks and poses, but the bottomline is money speaks louder than any moral conviction he might have. His fans brag about him in these exact terms: he’s rich, he’s at the top of the charts, look at his numbers, he’s well-connected, he insults his bandmates and still thrives.

Harry has nurtured his fans. He made them what they are. They reflect each other. He cultivated this toxicity and let’s face it, Harry basks in it.

Omg that zarries documentary is so disrespectful towards Louis and I hate much people they have listening to them. They literally got upset with zayn for the tweet he made about the Grammys because it was “ Harry’s day” they have a whole theory of zayn hiding his sexuality from his family and not being “open” and they use Harry golden song for that. I am over the things they imply about Louis.

I just feel like this is a really dark & twisted part of the fandom. Zarry Documentaries seems to go beyond even other ships. Some of the things I've seen are appalling and all untrue, so I don't think we should be giving her any more attention as it's really disgusting what some people will do & say for it. I saw that a lot of people were wondering what Zarry documentaries was saying about the whole thing and my curiosity got the better of me. I checked her Instagram story and DAMN. She is apparently a Harrie who believes that the baby was actually planned immediately after Fine Line came out?!?!? What the actual fuck? I am literally quoting 'the baby provides Zayn an extra level of protection once Harry comes out'. Again I repeat. WHAT!!!!

I used to watch her YouTube videos, they were fun and absolutely ridiculous at first, jz like any casual edits and reaching that I myself do here on tumblr. She did seem to genuinely like harry for a while, but I'm not so sure anymore. She used to argue with larries/ziams a lot, debunking theories, coming up with the most absurd theories... You know what, I know a tinhat when I see one. The cultish behaviour, manipulating canon to fit a narrative, treating every single lyric/incident in their lives as a 'sign' that h/z are secretly sending them...... these patterns were all too familiar for me...... 'once harry comes out'???? She has always claimed to be different from larries, but haven't we been through this already lol. Thank god I came to my senses and unfollowed her pretty quickly.

I don’t agree with the shipping part of ZD, but she has been pissing off Zquad lately and it’s been hilarious. They are all going after all of her accounts and trying to get them removed. She’s been telling facts and Zquad can’t handle it. The truth is, Zayn is what’s called a *has been*. All Zquad have are streaming numbers from songs from 2016-2017. While Zquad was busy bragging about those numbers Zayn became Mr. Hadid. ZD is trying to let them know that Zayn is no longer the Zayn they stan but Zquad can’t handle it. Too bad it took Zayn getting Gigi pregnant for one of the biggest Zarrie influencers to open her eyes but she’s trying to do what that ex Larrie you post does and is now trying to make Zarries and Zquad see reality.

From what I can find, ZD still believes that Z and H were together for years but that Z cheated and H got sick of his drug habit, which is different from Portrait who has said that he no longer thinks that Larry were ever a thing.

Of course Zquad are going to come for ZD if she's cast Z in a similar role to the one Sea casts Harry in and keeps highlighting his career lows, but they won't succeed in getting her accounts closed just because she criticises Zayn.

Hi Allie! I am a new Larrie here. I recently started liking one direction and my bias is Louis. Since I started watching their interviews and video diaries ultimately I ended up finding the romantic/flirty dynamic between Harry and Louis. I wasn't sure if I was being delusional so I checked the comments and most of them are Larry shippers with the occasional Zarry or Ziam shippers. I Stan BTS too, been an army before a Directioner so I thought the biggest ship would be fake. I know Kpop is different from English bands but still applied the same rule. I hope you wouldn't mind this long ass essay type question I wanted to ask you. In Kpop the marketing promotion is entirely different. There is fanservice, which is not widely used in One direction I guess. Basically the teenagers like the most attractive people of the group to act gay and ship them, so the reality is far from the acting they do for fans. So the most popular ships in BTS didn't vibe with me. It seemed manufactured. Yep their friendship is genuine but I strongly ship or rather believe a lowkey ship in the band. I believe 2 members in the band are together, but those two together aren't the fan favorite so they have to act with other members to please fans. It's complicated but its a successful kpop strategy.

Koreans are homophobic and one gay singer who came out got less and less opportunities in music industry. Thus them coming out is gonna take a long time. The difference though is unlike Syco, Big hit label/HYBE (BTS label) isn't homophobic. So they approve of their relationship and keep it hidden, also its similar to the dark larries. Some big people know the truth but don't comment on it. And the members of the band actually protect the real relationship. So the fanservice ships serve as an effective tool in hiding the real relationships and also generating revenue from the fake ships the bands create to keep fans engaged. This logic didn't seem to apply to One direction. And I love love Larry. I became a Larrie after watching them and to make sure that I am not making it up I saw the proof, timeline and stuff. One thing which offended me was few disrespectful Zarry shippers. The Zarry documentary channel actually swayed me in the beginning but to me it seemed like a normal flirty friendship dynamic. They managed to insult Louis, Zayn and Harry by creating a narrative for their own benefit. I was extremely offended with that. Comments under these videos called Louis horrible names and made fun of him and they don't see reason if we try to reply them. In the end I just left it like that, no use in wasting my time to answer these toxic people. And I found my safe space with tumblr. Thank you very much for being here.. For all your blogs and posts. You are the first one I followed after cosmicleeds. Too bad I am late to the fandom, so I wasn't here to see everything happening. But I ll support Larry from now on. I am glad to meet you all here!

And one more thing.. This was the actual question I wanted to ask. In YouTube there is a video called "Dating expert analysis on Larry Stylinson by Anthony Recenello". I watched it before, he commented on the Paris interview and said there was 0% romance between them and 100% flirty friendship dynamic. How how do you analyse a closeted relationship with just one video? I was slightly offended but to each their own I guess. Its his opinion. And he was also polite throughout the video. In the comment section though, there was a Larrie comment who became offended with his answer. They talked about years of actual solid proof and consistencies and not random moments.. The way they said it was slightly rude but their comment had a valid argument though. The dating expert could have ignored answering it. But he chose to answer with "Harry maybe a queer, but he is 100% not with Louis". Like why why.. I respected his opinion but just like that he comments this. How do you all manage to not let these things get to you? Is that a silly thing to ask? I hope you don't get upset by this question. I know nothing about BTS but your comparisons between the two bands are very interesting. I just wanted to add that One Direction had plenty of fan service in the early days too, Harry and Louis "bromance" was milked a lot until they probably decided that things were getting out of control a little bit and pushed them even further inside the closet. But like you said, both bands marketing strategies are entirely different. One Direction came from a long generation of boybands that were marketed specifically for young girls to fall in love with them and to dream that somehow would be possible. Just like NSYNC, Take That, Backstreet Boys, Westlife, etc... Maybe if they were still an active band things would be different now. BTS is for an entirely new generation, it was created for a very different purpose too. But definitely interesting to see the parallels.

As for your question, I think that after a while things get old and you get a thicker skin. I rarely feel genuinely offended about something in the fandom, because I simply don't care.... I don't even bother to look into this kind of video you mentioned because why would I even do that. I don’t believe Larry is real because of an interview, or one tattoo, or one moment. It’s so many things combined and there’s so much context involved. I’m always open to new opinions and perspectives but I believe what I believe because I have critical thinking, it’s not because someone told me to believe that, I’m seeing things and getting to this conclusion myself because it’s what makes sense to me. So there’s no reason for me to make this experience about who is right or whatever. Plus, contrary to popular belief, it’s not like we’re questioning science here, so people just need to chill.

I am pretty sure that person is a zarry and is probably insinuating that Larry ane ziam were used as cover ups for zarry, although I myself am a zarry I don’t see how it would make sense for them to us a gay couple to cover up another gay couple. I just think that Larry took off and at some point it got exploited. But Harry has never shown any actual interest in Louis as he has with zayn he actually definetly was into zayn and mutual. they have actual matching tattoos the things they’ve said and the ways they’ve looked at each other has raised a lot of suspicion for me. you tend to be very vague with your answers so I doubt youll give your thoughts in a clear way on this but that is just what I believe. there are so much videos on that relationship and even a huge audience it would not have taken off in such a way if there weren’t something there zarry documentaries for sure shows a good perspective

I’m still around, just been a bit busy lately, but I’m here.

I think Harry and Louis are very much together. Still. There is zero doubt in my mind they were together in the past. It’s not a question of “what if”. It’s a fact that they were together. And I think they still are.

Like I’ve said many times before, I’ve got no time for zarry. None. 

As to what you should believe that is up to you. I’m not here to dictate your thoughts. I think you should form your own informed and educated opinion. And that does involve looking at things from different perspectives too.

In my opinion, patterns and context matter. And when it comes to zarry I think that clips are out of context and there isn’t a clear pattern that indicates a romantic relationship. It’s normal to act affectionately towards those you’re close with. It’s normal to jump on your friends and kiss their cheeks every now and then. But those aren’t part of a bigger pattern of romance. And when you look at things in context to everything else happening at the time, zarry as a romance simply does not hold. What holds is how consistently Harry and Louis look at each other with pure love, admiration and devotion. How consistently Harry and Louis reach out to each other with loving care, pride and passion.

It’s not a question of “what if Harry and Louis were in love?”. They were. There’s no question there. To me it’s very obviously true, I don’t need to keep proving it. And what is even more beautiful is how we have consistently seen thousands upon thousands of examples of their love. Nearly 11 years worth now. And I think that’s beautiful.

I agree I think harry did know about Zayn’s ED too because he always ensured to give him water and always only offered him food on stage. He always took care of Zayn. and zayn with him especially when constantly defending him against the womanizer accusations. Yeah, it's definitely a full blown obsession. I've seen some of her videos before and they are so incredibly biased towards Harry. She's also made some semi-convincing videos that made me think for a hot second, so it's scary to think of the influence she has. I didn't realize she hated Zayn so much though. I haven't paid attention to her in a long time.
