Okay, thanks to @t1koy-roll having drawn Zandee as a spider-person, she ended up sparking desires for Pidge as a spider-person, too. And that sparked thoughts of Spiderverse shenanigans between these two and Pidge being sassy and Zandee just proud of her like a big brother. So. In the end? I had to draw them. And Pidge sassing probably Miguel. She probably thinks he's neat and cool to some degree, especially the claws and fangs, but she really doesn't like how he handles canon even stuff.

Any future arts of them like this may show a change in Zandee's outfit, especially colouring. I was basing it off of a small quick doodle Tikoy had made.

Ouderkerk aan den IJssel – Op zaterdag 14 oktober 2023 vierden muziekvereniging Excelsior en jeugdige muzikanten uit de hele Krimpenerwaard het 130-jarig bestaan van de vereniging met een groot jubileumconcert in de grote zaal van De Drie Maenen. Vanuit alle hoeken van de Krimpenerwaard waren de jeugdige muzikanten met onder andere klarinet, trompet, saxofoon, bugel en euphonium naar De Drie Maenen gekomen voor een grote gezamenlijke repetitie op de middag van het concert. Onder leiding van Excelsiors dirigent Jesse Zandee werden de laatste puntje op de i gezet, waarna gezamenlijk gegeten werd. Voor dit grote jeugdorkest had Excelsior subsidie gekregen vanuit WelZijn Krimpenerwaard en het VSBfonds. Harmonieorkest Excelsior Net als bij het 125-jarig bestaan opende het harmonieorkest van Excelsior haar jubileumconcert met het muziekstuk La Première. Volgens de notulenboeken van Excelsior, die allemaal bewaard zijn gebleven, was dit de naam van het allereerste muziekstuk dat de vereniging ooit gespeeld heeft. Het muziekstuk is niet bewaard gebleven, maar wel een paar exemplaren van oud cursusboekje voor muzikanten en beginnende harmonie- en fanfareorkesten en in dat boekje staat een mars met dezelfde naam. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk gaat het om exact hetzelfde muziekstuk. Na La Première volgde een afwisselend programma met grote/serieuze muziekstukken zoals Ensenada, Paso Flamenco en Symfonie Concertante en heel bekende muziekstukken zoals Counting Stars, Abba Gold, Conquest of Paradise en muziek uit de musical The Jungle Book. Natuurlijk werd er ook stilgestaan bij klarinettiste Astrid, die jarig was. Tot haar verrassing, en die van het publiek, ging het muziekstuk Crocodile Rock na de eerste drie muzieknoten naadloos over in 'Lang zal ze leven'. De jeugdige muzikanten uit de hele Krimpenerwaard speelden onder andere de bekende muziekstukken Circle of Life uit de musical The Lion King, Clap your hands and stamp your feet en Sofia. Het was duidelijk te zien en te horen dat de jeugd het leuk vond om samen muziek te maken. Wethouder Pannekoek feliciteerde de vereniging, en de jarige Astrid, en overhandigde bloemen en een cheque namens het gemeentebestuur. Na het laatste muziekstuk kreeg Excelsior een welverdiende staande ovatie van het publiek. Op maandagavond 23 oktober 2023 van 19:30 tot circa 20:15 organiseert Excelsior een open avond in de grote zaal van De Drie Maenen waarbij muziekinstrumenten uitgeprobeerd kunnen worden en informatie verkregen kan worden over muzieklessen en de vereniging zelf. Een week later, op maandagavond 30 oktober 2023, begint een nieuwe editie van de AMV-cursus 'Samen muziek maken is leuker!' voor kinderen uit groep 6 van de basisschool. You know what I needed?  Vehicle Voltron characters redrawn again for VLD AU. And I’ve done Cinda and Krik, now it’s time for Ginger and Zandee. And I know Ginger had red lipstick originally, but I thought near black lipstick suited her, too.  And.  I love how these two turned out! I’m proud!

Also, having AU thoughts of them, I feel like they’re friends even before the Explorer and being pilots. Perhaps dating back to middle or high school.  Also, Ginger totally has that unexpected frightening strength that Pidge does. She can pick up Zandee no problem and put him over her shoulder and walk off. No strain, no issue.
