Question that I've been wanting to ask for a few days now.
What are y'all stances on Yuri written by men*?
*by men I mean a man in general or man-aligned NB. Trans men, gay men or another kind of LGBTQ man, keep this in mind.
The genre doesn't really matter but if your stance changes depending on what said man is writing please elaborate in tags.
My personal stance is that a Yuri written by a man will maybe lose a bit of quality but it isn't a deal breaker for me.

I read I Love Amy a few days ago and i really liked it! I thought it was really cute and the art style is absolutely adorable, so i wanted to make fanart for it! I chose this scene since i loved this moment, and also to challenge myself to color the ambient right and make the characters feel integrated with the scenery !

A Pet's Aesthetic [ official transl. title "Tightrope" ]
contemporary, 18+ erotica
two young women have been best friends their entire lives, so close in fact that it sparks dating rumors amongst everyone else
unrequited pining, slowburn, longtime friends-to-lovers (?) set in Korea
very short, very spicy gl that could be renamed as down bad™: the yuri
lead is a bit of a girlfailure freak. seriously, that girl is HORNY.
love interest is written as closed-off emotionally and at least an aro-spec stone top; the nsfw scenes almost purposefully feel more physical than romantic.
miniseries– less than 10 chapters–by same artist who made What Does The Fox Say
TW: explicit sexual content. also for romance and fluff enjoyers, there is zero emotional or lovey-dovey moments. this is radioactive emotionally unavailable sex. think play date by melanie martinez.
Recommended for fans of: Tryst Six Venom by Penelope Douglas, Don't Leave Me by Eden Emory. Also for Makiqua enjoyers (me and 5 others) who believe that stone Quanxi and girlfailure femme Makima are canon, and that all problems of CSM would be solved if Makiqua just had sex about it.
