Don’t worry that your children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you. . . . You must have read that caption a 100 times below many instagram posts, I came across it, in a rather unpleasing way. It thought me a lesson. A lesson that lives on, with me every single day (painfully so) . . . The language of communication at my house is English. Myself, hubby, grandparents, every one essentially speaks English. But it wasn't so before we had kids. . . . We decided to make the switch for some strange reason and now have become used to it, for the sake of our kids. . . . I have a toddler who is a talking little human of 2.6 years. Initially he'd repeat everything we'd say. So it was easy to be cautious. But as he grew he's just absorbing the language.  . . . One day his toy broke down and he said "oh $**#t toy broke down" I froze. Such a sweet little kid, with an even more sweeter voice, uttering such cuss words.  . . . I was the one responsible for this. My husband came home and my boy kept using the word repeatedly, and he immediately knew where it came from. . . . And so i have been trying and trying since then to help him forget that word, substitute it for something else but all in vain. Nearest he goes to correction is "oh no, oh $**#t, toy broke down" . . . Any ideas, mom's how i can get rid of this mess.  #momtalk, #realmoms #youngparents #youngmom #youngmommy #vocabularywords #youngmotherhood #motherhoodrising #raisingkidsright #realtalk, #lifewithkids #teachingkids #teachingatoddler #toddlermomlife #motheroftwo #motherandson #indianmomblogger #toddlerparents #indianbloggermom #mumbaimommyblogger #doctor_mommy_speaks #doctormommyspeaks (at In the Bed....) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9v6jqKFUXM/?igshid=1w99ryfcywlle

✨new blog post✨link in bio✨ . Babies, lovely adorable creatures you can’t help but swoon over. Unfortunately, being a mum means you don’t always get the time to spend 13 hours staring at your chubby bundle. And they’re not always the most accommodating when you have a shit load of house work to do. So, over the years I've come up with different ways to make my life easier. Everything from giving them giant rock lollies to handing them an iPad. Letting them take naps in my bed & play with my makeup are also big on the list of things I probably shouldn't do, but do them any way for an easier life. Have a read, let me know what you do (even if you probably shouldn't) to make life easier with your baby . . . . . . . . . #funny #humor #humour #fridayfeeling #fridaynight #friyay #christmas #followfriday #interior9508 #blogtober #blogtober2017 #momlife #mothethoodunplugged #laugh #laughter #grey #greyhome #darlings #children #silly #hilarious #comedy #boys #babyboy #newmom #youngmotherhood #smile #joke #jokes #weekendvibes (at Stourport)

There's a huge social stigma against young single moms and it has to end. STOP ASKING where the dad is and STOP SAYING but you're too young to have a baby. Don't lecture me on the importance of my daughter having a father. Don't assume that I had some shot gun wedding because I got pregnant and ask where my non existent husband is. And please for the love of God don't give me unsolicited parenting advice. I understand it may come from a good place, but you just have to stop. We all do what works for us in the situation we are in. I'm doing my best with my daughter. She's the basis of every decision I make. She is first, always. Don't judge me for being "young and inexperienced" just because you have two kids and are married. Because you were once too. And so was your husband/wife. There are all types of families out there. And just because I don't have your idea of a family doesn't mean I don't count or I'm not good.

I found this project similar to my own by a UK based photographer. It is a photo and film project that looks at the lives of young mothers in Britain. It seems to have a much more of a foundation in the video component, but I'm finding Jendella's project incredibly informative. I'm interested in seeing this project's progress!
