1. What are your general hcs about them?

I'll say this first and foremost, Luocha is a brat and he welcomes that title with pride. He just always has to have the last laugh, he'll taunt and tease you in that smooth, deceptively innocent voice of his. You could have him pinned to the ground with a sword at his throat and he'd have that self-satisfied smirk as if this was his plan all along. Luocha's a flirt when he wants to be (which is almost all the time), he's just also really good at appearing civil during it all. Enemies to lovers? No, enemies and lovers. Heck, you don't even have to be lovers for him to mess with you - Sushang knew him for five minutes and he was already sassing her up.

6. What do you think Luocha is like in love?

I wrote some of it back in this post, but if I were to expand on it, there's a very big difference on how Luocha acts when he's attracted to someone, as opposed to when he's in love with them. You'll have to prepare for a slow burn though, because Luocha (like 60% of all HSR men) has walls upon walls around his heart. He's someone who constantly wanders the cosmos and rarely settles down for even a second. When he's attracted to someone, he's like how I described above - provocative, teasing, smug and flirty. A little shit. But when he loves someone?

Luocha doesn't hate the way he feels around you, but it still scares him, even for a little bit. He's still teasing, but he softens around you, and by a lot. Sometimes, when the air feels a little too empty without his prattling, you'll turn around to find him staring at you, taking in every little detail about you. When he realizes you've noticed him, he only gives you a little smile before turning away, leaving you confused. His fingers are always intertwined with yours, and by the Aeons, is he protective of you. If he even hears that you're in the vicinity of danger, he's immediately running over regardless of what he's doing currently. Luocha isn't that much of a fighter himself, but when it comes to you, he'd gladly draw his sword.

10. How good at cuddling is Luocha?

He's uh. He's definitely new at it BYEE I honestly don't think that despite his personality, Luocha has much experience on that kind of intimacy. It takes a lot just to convince him to lay down with you and just hold each other, but once he settles in, he finds that he rather enjoys it. Luocha also prefers to be the one being held rather than doing the holding, so he'll snuggle right up into your chest or your neck and just lay there. Feel free to play with his hair too, he loves it when you massage his scalp or run your fingers through his locks. If he's not busy trying to not fall asleep, he'll talk about his day or ask about yours as you snuggle together. I'd give him a solid 8/10; he's a bit stiff and awkward the first few times, but he'll eventually melt into it <3

While your red dress decorated with cempasuchil (Mexican marigold flowers) all over and marigold flowers with lit white wax candles at the hem of your dress. You also wear an extremely large, wide-brimmed sombrero bedecked with more lit candles and marigolds, small skulls, pink-plumed, curly, swirly feathers and palm leaves. Also wearing a circular gold locket on a choker that he had given you - The proxies were smirking happily being protected by the goddess of life - He makes sure on November second that he comes with you cause you say its the most special day to you which was the day of the dead - You both Slow dance together listening to Classical music -  Though you two have a complicated relationship with due to your different beliefs and the completely different, opposite antagonistic lands and realms you both ruled. - As your husband he does his best to make time for you - When he is out "working" in his words he is just getting victims while you on the other hand would scold him but knew it was his only way of well eating - You knew that Slender wins over the confidence of children but adults are repulsed by fear. - He chooses children because he can take longer to nurture their fear, stalking them for years before attacking them as adults. - He brainwashes children, using them to further his own (unspecified) ends as Proxies. Children are simply easier for him to hunt and eat - You spend time with the younger Creepypasta's and make sure that they are patched up - The other creepypasta's were weary of you and still are - But DAMN! you knew how to cook some good food - If the creepypastas are close to the brink of death they literally scream in their heads for slender to get them or have backup which slender does... sometimes - But if they shout your name at all within any space giving life well Poof your their in an second taking them and scolding them for almost getting caught - Slender makes sure to try maintain his anger issues but he does lash out of the Proxies if they do anything wrong - When you two argue about the creepypastas you speak up "Anyone can die. These kids, they will have the courage to live and fight" you said as slender argued back to you "They are adults My love" "Yes but what has happened to them they were only mere children! well some of them!" You said back as slender groaned in annoyance pinching the bridge of where his nose would be... if he even had one

OOOG…. Thank youe…. I’ve realized a few patterns in how I tell my stories lately so I do want to go over those! I’ll be using yvette my buddy my pal to demonstrate this because he’s the best example. ( later edit : Actually I have more stuff to talk about I’ll number it)

1. I’ve noticed a ton of my story material is based on how the people around us or our surroundings effect us. The cycles and whatnot. For yvette he starts out as a yellow blood and, in trying to forcefully change the oppression imposed on him from his surroundings, actually sort of just continues it by killing a close friend of his. That friend ends up haunting him. Teed hee

Idk if the pictures will come across well since I’m on mobile but to break down this specific piece the colors used on REPENT and the tapeworms in the back are actually the colors of his old psionics before he did all that mad scientist crap to change himself. OLD ART!! AUGHH AU AUGGHH

Is it a little stupid that he changes his own blood color? Yes. But homestuck as it’s own is so beyond stupid that I can do whatever I want I’m a scavenger a critter.

But by changing his blood color yvette essentially locks away his psionics (there must be something very specific to yellow blood to make the psionics work to me) siphoning them off into the trident he wields. He can’t get rid of ALL of his original blood, so the yellow just stays dormant. Should he choose to use his psionics in this new state he’s made for himself he risks fucking up his organs even further.

Anyways it takes a human child with the same exact problems as him to realize Heyyy…..maybe what I did and have been doing is a little fucked. Which it was. But it was the only thing he could have done, in his eyes, because the alternative was getting hooked up to a machine for the rest of his life.

At the end of the story (? Fan venture?) he does break out his psionics again which causes the blood to mix. He’s redeemed but he’s not nearly as cool anymore. Big bummer

2. colors always mean things more often than not in my art. I am a “why is the curtain blue” type of asshole, and I love to do it. For instance in MATSC green is for heaven and blue is for hell, but they have more than just that meaning. Green is confinement and being trapped and whatnot, while blue is freedom. Still kind of iffy on what purple means but it may mean the same as green. We’re figuring it out. In LEM I’m also still working on it, but blue is a mainly bad color there while orange is instead the signifier of good things. As for paradigm shift it’s more of a character-to-character basis. They all get their own specific colors. I loveeee colors colors colors :)

3. I LOVE writing villains. It is my personal goal with every villain I write to see how genuinely horrible I can make the villain as a person and still get people to enjoy reading them. It’s so fun, I mean it. Like the type of guy that would absolutely stump tumblr’s famous reading incomprehension. I love it I LOVE IT

4. This isn’t about my stories overall, just one, but I finally finished the first draft for act one of paradigm shift which I am PSYCHED about. I sent it out to a few people for feedback- only a select few people, though. If it were any other story I’d send it to a wider range but it is IMPERATIVE that my buddies that experienced max first hand when we were little 12 year old kids doing stupid roleplays get to see it first. They know him very well, and Vice versa. I’m so excited. (Air horns) (yippee sound!)

Okay so my thoights are that in the hetaliaverse it's an open secret. Like moat of them won't really go out blaring about it but they'll answer if you ask. Like France, he'll just kinda hang out in his place and be another friendly guy, but if you come up to him and ask if he's France he'll say yes. A few countries with more questionable populations will keep it more on the down low for security and then there's America, Poland, and Canada, who don't give a ahit and run active YouTube and Twitch channels and and quite happy to hang out with the modern day crowd sure why not.

most people don't really know though, like if you know who to look for you can find America's youtube feed but if he goes drinking with the boys he'll probably just call himself Alfred sk it's less weird.

Most of them have some kind of governmwnt job because it's the 21st century and it's too troublesome to explain things sometimes. Especially for younger looking nations, like Hong Kong and Latvia and Iceland, who have all at one point or another had to explain that they aren't homeless minors. Carla is such an irritating character. I know they want to sell her as a strong independent woman who takes no shit from anyone but all I see in her is an arrogant and entitled one who thinks the world revolves around her. No matter how much shady avery is, as his wife she is a total bitch to him. Youe husband is in a critical financial condition which he might have hidden from you because of embarrassment and inferiority complex (he clearly has one because of the more attractive and daring ex-husband 😆😆), you should understand his stress and try to sit together and talk about it rather than kicking him out of the house and bitching about him with your ex-husband 🤣🤣🤣 Her whole attitude is like- you lied to me, now you have to win me back by worshiping me day and night else I will open the option to go back to my daughter's father who is clearly a better one. Sorry for writing this mindless essay but you know, could not resist.🤣🤣 I would like to see some flashbacks of Beau's past although not sure if it is a plan of the makers. There is a lot to unveil on Beau and without that he keeps on being an underused and lazily developed character which is introduced only to increase the charm factor.

I agree with most of what you said here. Carla does seem incredibly self-involved. I feel like the scenario you presented (very well, btw! 👏👏) is probably quite close to what actually happened between her and Beau. And likely she saw it as "tough love", but sometimes tough love isn't love at all, just a way for you to not have to care.

I think though, that part of the reason she's being the way she is with Avery (who, I can't really feel sorry for no matter what - hated him from the moment he let Emily wander off on her own at the end of Episode 2!) is because she's starting to realize just how stupid and short-sighted she was to walk away from a man like Beau just because he was going through a bad time. So, those feelings combined with Avery's duplicity and general skeevy-ness is making her realize her mistake.

I disagree though that the writers don't plan on giving us more backstory on Beau. I definitely think they will. It's only episode 10 this week after all. Then they're going on winter hiatus until January 4! And I just KNOW they're gonna leave us HANGING ona giant cliffhanger!! 😭😭

But, I digress! 😄

We have been getting more and more info about Beau's past as we've gone along, including the info that Emily found last episode. I'm sure the writers just don't want to give it all away at once. I can appreciate that.

And I think Beau is already much more than just a character that's there to increase the charm factor. 😊 I mean, he's definitely charming, that is a part of his personality. *Swoon*

But he's also shown himself to be a bit of a badass, without being an asshole who goes in guns blazing every time. He's shown compassion for criminals, and friends alike. He's a father who obviously adores his daughter and admires her intelligence and independence, but is desperate to keep her safe.

There are lots of aspects of his character that have been revealed. We just gotta be patient to find out more about what he's been through! And like you - I'M DYING to learn more!! 😍😍

Feet, GOD. They're already a hassle to draw on their own, especially at different angles, but also I CAN'T get too good at drawing them or else it's weird.

Faces, mostly! Hair too, so I guess heads as a whole? I think I always loved drawing faces, they were the thing I practiced the most and I still do. The character is mostly in the face, I think.

5. Anything you haven't drawn yet but want to?

Landscapes, cityscapes especially. I'd like to learn the chemistry of a good city background but it's just so daunting at the moment.

Golly, I'm not confident enough to show any examples but I'd say my anatomy has gotten better, yet I've gone more and more angular throught the years. I used to draw people like sticks and my anatomy skills developed from there. But digital stuff is still pretty new to me.

You don’t know anything. You’re unaware and it would, unfortunately, forever be like that.

They didn’t know what exactly made them self-aware in the first place, a glitch perhaps? Whether it was an error in the program, or just some supernatural stuff at play, it didn’t really matter. The cast accepted their situation as it is, since they were already comfortable before. They have their own world to run around with, and most importantly, they have “you” as their owner of some sort. Their sole job is to entertain you through the screen that separates both fantasy and reality, playing by the script that was encoded in their files.

When they play it right, you laugh and you squeal, so they can’t help but find it really amusing. Before they knew it, they’re purposely exaggerating their acting and voices just to see how you will react, even ad-libbing at some point. Those were words solely meant just for you so, of course you’ll get confused, you didn’t hear any of these words from other people. Some parts of them wishes that you would actually come into terms that they’re alive now, that they can see and hear everything you do in the game. But in the end, you always concluded it to be an easter egg, a fun little bug that the developers purposely dropped it in for some lucky players to discover.

Unfortunately, they don’t have any control on who you’ll get in the gacha system, even if the rates for a specific character are up. It sucks, and quite honestly concerning to see you empty your wallet just to get that special SSR card of a specific character. “Make sure to leave some for yourself” is what they want to convey to you, but you know how it is. Even so, they’re still at least thankful and appreciative of your effort just to get your hands on one of them. They’re concerned, but they can’t deny that having a special card, one that you would definitely put your time, money, and effort to, makes them feel giddy.

Of course, they wouldn’t forget about the sheer happiness in your eyes when you finally got that character you wanted, you’re so happy that sometimes it brings you to tears. In an outsider perspective, it’s such a stupid reason to be happy for, you even tease yourself for it sometimes. But what you didn’t know is that every time you pull, they all have their fingers crossed and praying that you’ll finally get their special card. Calling that happiness stupid is a hypocritical statement for they, as mere game characters, were just as ecstatic to finally place their seats in your inventory.

...Even if you won’t be aware of that happiness yourself.

Interactions with you are their favorite time, just seeing you listen to their voice so attentively and excitedly brings a smile in their face. They especially love the moment where you would actually touch their avatars, you don’t know it but they can feel it. Every time you give a poke, it makes their digital heart beat faster but cleverly covering them with the lines in correspondent with that action. You laugh, even saying a playful apology when they would get “angry” with you for poking them too much, and that alone makes them swoon more for your touch. So much so that when you’re finally satisfied and about to move on to another option, they would suddenly yell out another unexpected line just to get your attention back, breaking through their written character. It works half of the time.

There are so much more that you didn’t know was happening beyond the screen. The excitement they feel whenever you would pick them for battle, levelling their cards up, and putting them up in your home screen is basically a privilege that every character hoped to have soon. Of course, they’re constantly trying to one-up each other, arguing which character is your favorite, and flaunting the achievements they had with you. You don’t know that when they tell you to come back tomorrow within each daily log-ins, they really meant it and are actually willing to increase the prizes you get from them. When you don’t play the game for just a single day, they get worried and anxious as they don’t have any way of communicating with you without opening the app.

This, and so much more, everything. You’re unaware of everything, their feelings, their affections, and all the words that they want to tell you. No matter how much you praise them, tell them how much you love each and one of them, they know that its all superficial in the end. They know that you don’t really see them as real people as in a technical sense, they’re not supposed to be alive, their everything are nothing but a bunch of codes. Their game may be the center of your attention for now, but it’s just a matter of time before another revolutionary game comes out and steal that attention away.

It’s sad, isn’t it? If they knew that they would be this attached to you, maybe it was better if they didn’t gain the ability to be self-aware after all. All attempts of trying to communicate with you would most likely be terminated as going rouge from their original role is a clear violation, and it risks their existence all in all. They…weren’t supposed to have these feelings in the first place, they’re game characters and yet, the truth hurts them physically. They can’t suddenly talk out of their characters and yell out their feelings and emotions because that’s not how the game and story works.

In the end, you would forever remain oblivious to their affections...

...Well, that is until they discover how to mess with the code of the game itself.

Hello!! I wanted to say i LOVE your icons, they look so good!! If you don't mind, i've wanted to ask, how do you go about making shadows for the characters on the icons? And what do you use to put those half transparent filters over them (like stripes foe example in your jay icons!)?

✦ sorry for the late answer but gosh thank you so much!! and I don't mind at all! it's just a simple drop shadow layer coloured dark grey and set to soft light, tho i sometimes have to colour them independently to actually get them to show up if the initial background is too light. and the filters are just simple pixel overlays i made also just set to a soft light layer, i cannot remember what colour i used to use for the icons for them but the one i still use on gif icons is just pure white, I'll adjust the opacity to make sure it doesn't lighten things to much. but gosh yes i hope this helps!! thank you so much again, i rly do appreciate it and im wishing you a wonderful day/night!
