I was wondering if i could get a matchup for Diabolik Lovers? Feel free to ignore this if you want. I'm an ENTP in Myer Briggs personality types. Im very extroverted and I like to put myself out there and fight for what I believe in.

I have a lot of social anxiety at the same time though. I second guess myself a lot and around new people I tend to be rather quiet for a while. I also tend to be reserved if someone seems to be getting upset. Also I'm easy to fluster as soon as anyone shows any kind of confidence or if i lose my train of thought.

I'm short. Im around 5'1-5'2 and have short red hair and blue eyes. My hobbies are very indoors-y. I like to draw and listen to music or sing. I enjoy watching anime and reading fanfics or sometimes actual books. I do enjoy going outside and being active every now and then though.

He would be mad for your lack of responsibility towards yourself though, so do expect some scolding from him when you’re somewhere safe.

Oh he’d be such a little shit.

No, but really, he’d enjoy pissing you off so much. He’d love to argue with you, because you always stand up for your opinion and he likes that, oh so much.

Seeing you glare at him like you’re about to rip his throat out makes his stomach twist in the best of ways.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t get salty when he loses an argument with you. Be on alert, because his ego and god complex have taken damage and he wants a rematch.

Your constant bickering will piss everyone off so much, they would kick you or Ayato from the table so they could eat in peace.

If you see this as much of a game as Ayato does, good for you, because the more you can hold your ground, the more equal to himself he sees you and the more friendly he’d be.

He becomes almost stalkerish, always following you around and watching everything you do from a distance.

Yes, he may see you as somewhat equal to him now, but that means you’re a threat, because he must be the best. So he’s watching you like a hawk to ensure you’re not trying to stab him in the back or something.

Like Kou, he would take pride in making you flustered. He’s a more confrontational type of guy so if he notices how you act around certain people and that your extroverted side fades out sometimes, he calms down a little. You pose no threat to him and his glory anymore, congrats, you passed.

However, at this point, you managed to worm your way into his heart and he becomes overprotective. He’s not watching you from a distance anymore, nah, he’s walking right beside you, looking as uninterested as always.

As soon as somebody tries to start any shit with you, he’s ready to throw hands, no matter how powerful that being may be.

And while this is nice, although kinda demeaning, it has a deeper, more selfish reason. Just because you don’t pose any immediate threat to him, doesn’t mean it will stay that way in the future. Deep down he feels like he needs to ensure you stay just the way you are, so he can always be at least a bit better than you.

As for your hobbies, well, I think Ayato would be sort of indifferent. He is not above using recordings of you singing something silly as possible blackmail, doesn’t matter what your relationship status is.

As for your drawings, if you were to show him one, he’d really try and take the time to look at it and appreciate it. But again, after agonizing minutes of silence, his god complex would kick in and he’d point out all the little things you could have done better in his opinion.

Others I can see you with: Yuma Mukami - He’d also enjoy both your extroverted and flustered side. He would probably be the best of the brothers to help you properly with your anxiety. He’s pretty outdoorsy, but only when it comes to nature I think, but if you don’t like going out, you can just hang out in his garden, it’s almost the same. You can draw while he tends to his veggies and stuff and if he’s in a good mood, he’d sing with you some nice pop or folk song! Shuu Sakamaki - probably the only one that isn’t into the whole extrovert thing, but would love to make you flustered. He’d also really like that you prefer to stay at home and that your hobbies are tame, you’d be a really chill couple. Prepare for him making you sing and carress his hair though, he’d definitely make you his songbird. Plus, you can’t get social anxiety if you don’t interact with people!

You’d think that just like everyone else, Izuku grows out of his puppy love phase but he dOESNT, BUDDY IS ALWAYS SO HAPPY?? lover - first song ranking & thoughts

first of all i just need to say i legitimately don’t feel ‘meh’ about a single song on this album. on any other album. i always had one or two songs i was just kind of ‘take it or leave it’ about. but Lover really did that - they’re all amazing and wonderful. but here’s an attempt at an order of how much i love them!

18. it’s nice to have a friend

this really reminds me of you are in love in the way it recounts all the small gestures and steps involved in becoming close to somebody. it’s really cute and at the perfect space on the album, leading to daylight. not a mindblowing song or anything, but the vibe fits onto lover really well. i’m glad that it’s here

17. you need to calm down

yeah, i cooled down on this one a little bit. it’s fun and the message is important, but me! is the better single tbh. still though, the feeling of empowerment this gives me over my nonexistent online haters is wonderful. and i love the attitude of the song of just looking at the assholes who live their entire lives putting energy into hating people and just being like....why are you like this. it’s pathetic. calm the hell down. so needed in our current debate culture

16. me!

a real grower! taylor and brendon urie have such good chemistry, tbh that’s really the backbone of the song. it’s just a really nice carefree spring/summertime self love song, a perfect soundtrack for when you feel happy and content with yourself.

15. the man

just dropping the complete truth on us with this one. i’ve wanted taylor to make this song for years (and i know she said she’s been wanting to but just never found the right words!) the bridge really elevates this too. and it’s sad how relatable the entire song is in literally every aspect of professional (and personal) life for women. i don’t think it’s quite as strong as it could have been, but still really solid

this is like the fun version of dress. that’s all i got to say. just as explicit, but this time around it’s super cheeky and i love it. also goals of self confidence if i’ve ever seen them

the joyful energy this has!! just makes you smile and want to dance immediately, a wonderful wholesome happy bop

listen.....this is special. i absolutely think this is the most experimental song on the album, both in terms of the music (is that a saxophone in the bg?? it’s almost got a jazzy vibe? completely uncomparable to anything she’s ever done and still so distinctly Taylor), but also with the lyrics, where she goes into the love = religion theme which honestly....as a Florence + the Machine and Hozier fan, i don’t even need to go into how much of a vibe that is. I couldn’t have imagined it working so well for Taylor though, but honestly, this song feels perfectly brooding, summertimey, melancholy, - it’s almost like taking the darker underside of Cruel Summer and exploring it in depth! this is very much a song i need to be in a Specific Mood to really appreciate, but it’s damn well made

11. afterglow

i love the maturity of this. not just the apologizing for picking a fight, but explaining how it came to be - at the end, from a place deep seated anxiety. ‘it’s all me, in my head’ (those high notes are beautiful) you can really feel how sorry she is. at the same time, the song sounds like something bigger, like an anthem - almost like that place high above that she’s trying to elevate them to.

10. i forgot that you existed

SO MUCH FUN i keep repeating that but that’s just the mood of this album tbh, playful and mature at the same time. this song is just like, when you’re over someone but you just can’t help yourself and have to throw shade one last time before moving on. i love the bouncy beat!!

9. lover

this song is literally the feeling of ‘home’ in music. so cozy, comfortable, blissful. dreamy. perfect title track. also completely timeless - i think this is one of those songs that we will look back on in years as a classic in her catalogue, a song you will always want to play again

8. the archer

this was my definite favorite of the pre released songs. anxiety, doubts, the way they all just keep coming back and eating at you, it’s described so perfectly and painfully. and the production really makes it sound like you’re in a separate space from reality, just stuck in your head trying to find a way forward, to soothe yourself. the ‘they see right through me / i see right through me’ transition in the bridge is fantastic and keeps giving me chills. so much personal connection to this one

7. soon you’ll get better

feels weird to even rank this but......just wow. the harmonies with the dixie chicks are so beautiful, and the way the lyrics talk about the feeling between denial and desperate hope, the transition from “because you have to” to “because I have to” - I have to cling to this hope, or i won’t make i - it completely broke my heart. and the fact that Taylor can conjure all these complex emotions with just a guitar and a few words is incredible. i’m so so sorry for them and i wish all the best for Andrea with my entire heart.

6. london boy

i already see people underappreciating this, what is going on??? there are multiple cute bouncy joyful songs on this album but this is my favorite because it’s just got a fantastic flow and melody, and i love all of the references to places and dialect specific words and it’s just so wholesome?? but what really makes this is (once again) the bridge. stick with ME im your QUEEN like a tennessEE stella mccartNEY, just the energy!! the fun!! excuse me while i listen to this every day for the rest of my life

5. miss americana & the heartbreak prince

okay, taylor’s brain in this one. i made a post talking about how this song has three layers - at first there’s the high school setting, then it references the ‘cancelling’ of Taylor’s public persona, but then it can also be seen as a comment on US politics and the whole climate of society right now. and it’s all tied together perfectly because high school is the perfect metaphor for this!! she’s basically saying we’re all behaving like immature school children, bullying each other for the stupidest reasons, mob mentality, stupid contests, fabricated stories made up to tear people down, and the feeling of loneliness but also fear and horror that comes with all that for the people who are the victims of it.....it’s literally all like high school in the worst way. i just love this concept, and the melody and production give me a little bit of a reputation vibe almost? which is perfect for the song, the dark dramatic vibe shows the feeling of fear most of all and that’s just....too real.

4. death by a thousand cuts

........listen, i surely didn’t think that Taylor would write one of her best breakup songs in the year of our lord 2019, but here we are. it’s once again, the small moments she recounts. taking the long way home. the uncertainty if it will ever be fine again. and the bridge/second verse / whatever that part is but that entire part. ‘paper cuts from my paper thin plans’, excuse me. the fact that she wrote this about a movie where a couple breaks up after years really shows tbh, because it’s especially that kind of....not being able to find a part of yourself that isn’t influenced by the other person, that’s so horrible and makes moving on so painful. i also love the production which makes this sound so uptempo, contrasting the lyrics! idk the entire song just clicks into place for me

3. daylight

this is like a summary of the entire album (and with the reference to the past and especially red, it’s even connecting her entire discography together). it’s like the clean of this album, except this time around it feels more complex - all the subtle references to past mistakes, ghosts, that might not be so easy to wash away. i’ve already mentioned that i love about the album (and this song especially) how it doesn’t gloss over negative experiences but addresses them directly, like looking them in the eye and then saying ‘you don’t have the power to define me’. that’s what this song feels like - it’s not unabashedly celebratory, it’s actually quite melancholic, but also full of real healing, a feeling of peace and reconciliation. and the ‘i once believed love would be black and white / burning red, but it’s golden’.....excuse me.....how dare she

2. cornelia street

god, what a magical song. the kind of episodic buildup that Taylor excels at. the vibrancy of the production matching the vibrancy of the relationship as it develops, revolving around this one place in its multiple stages, and then the repeated, deep seated fear of losing all that. it’s just. ugh. what can i even say. and so so catchy. the “listen..” killed me. just like delicate, the vibe between fear and being drunk on happiness is so so well done.

1. cruel summer

oh yes. and here we have an absolute perfection of a pop song. incredible catchiness. smart, clever lyrics but also that underlying vibe of sadness and anxiety. seriously, the complexity this has?? and then that soaring bridge, the chaotic but beautiful but painful reality of all of it coming together. ‘i love you, ain’t that the worst thing you ever heard?’ idk this song just transcends everything for me friends. it’s like the vibe of out of the woods or maybe even style but the lyrics are even more sharp, they cut a little deeper, literally ‘summer’s a knife’. this is a song she only could’ve written influenced by reputation: there’s happiness but there’s that edge in it too. idk if anything i’m saying makes sense. i love this song so so so much.

Alright Y!A? :) Right, so I'm 17 and I'll probably be doing my driving test pretty soon because I'm far into lessons and I've passed my theory test already. When I started learning to drive at 17, I decided to buy my self a cheap car so that I'd be able to get more experience behind the wheel, pass my test quicker and have a car as soon as I passed my test. I was insured on my provisional license with an insurance company which specialised in learner drivers. However, I ended up getting 3 points on my license the week before I passed my test, in what I still think were pretty unfair circumstances. My house doesn't have a drive or a garage and so I had to park my car on the road in front of my house, or on a street round the corner when there were no spaces. As it was my first car I was really excited, and without understanding that I could get in trouble for it, I used to sometimes sit in my car and listen to music with my friends. The week before I passed my test we were sat chatting when a police car came down the road and pulled up behind us. Someone had broken into some allotments nearby and they were questioning us as to if we had seen anything. They searched my car- for tools that could suggest we had done it I presume, and when they found nothing they ran my license and obviously realised I only had a provisional license. I still at this point didn't realise I had done anything wrong, I wasn't driving the car, simply sat in it so I didn't realise I had committed an offence. The police informed me that because the engine was running, I could have been driving or about to drive and on that basis they convicted me for driving without a license. I only got 3 points and a 60 fine due to the fact I wasn't actually driving and at the time I accepted that with relief, I was terrified I'd get a ban or lose my license or get a massively unaffordable fine. I could have appealed but that would have meant going to court and I was only 17 and that terrified me. I declared the points to my insurance company straght away, but due to the nature of the offence my insurance was invalidated and void. I've only just now realised how serious having insurance voided in the past is. I'm supposed to be moving a 5 hours away in a few months for a job, and I have plenty of money saved for car insurance and a car, as without a car, the move is completely unrealistic. Without a car I won't be able to get to work as the hours are unsocial and my job isn't very well connected with public transport at all and so relying on public transport or taxis is simply not an option. I found a car, went to get an insurance quote, and found out that getting insurance is practically impossible when you've had insurance voided in the past. The points don't seem to be a problem, when I tell companies about my points but not about my insurance voided in the past they happily give me a quote. They're expensive, but affordable and it's what I was expecting. However, as soon as I tell them that my insurance was voided in the past they refuse to even give me a quote. I'm completely out of options and I don't know what to do. I need a car, but I can't get insurance as much as I try. I know I was in the wrong, but it seems like the voided insurance is more of a punishment than the points are and surely that isn't right? And the voided insurance will stay with me for the rest of my life, so does that mean that driving will never be an option for me? I'm sorry for the essay, I just really don't know what to do! The first song i heard was Fireworks and Breathless acoustic version (THE UNDERRATED VERSION) Sanha became my favorite kid in the whole world & guess what,,, i watched the Cicada video,,, all you Arohas out there know what im talking about,,, THAT vid where they are all terrified of a little bug im so sOFT FOR THAT VIDEO (#tag urself im MJ) how can you Not stan after seeing it(also i just want to let it be known I went to their fanmeet and I dabbed at Rocky and he dabbed back and also that i have gummy bear packets given to me from Sanha Eunwoo Rocky and MJ and that Eunwoo and i touched hands when he gave it to me and also that i shook Sanha’s hand okay sorry for that yeeeeee)-EXO okay so exo was probably the first kpop group i listened to the Most, i COULDNT pick a bias at all but i settled between Chanyeol Xiumin and Baekhyun but eventually Xiumin claimed that bias spot because what a cute baozi he’s like a little kitten whom i wanna cuddle and i cant believe its his Birthday Month… its that time of year where im in denial he’s almost another year again lads (dont ask for my favorite song because i Cannot Deliver)

-Twice alrighty Twice really SHOULD be up there with bts/astro/exo, I knew Twice when Cheer Up released but I didn’t become a fan until Knock Knock. Technically I started becoming a Once when TT dropped, that’s when i decided to be a Once but i didn’t learn the members until after Knock Knock. My first comeback was Signal and boy did i love that era @ signal haters its a bop so fite me i even learned the choreo and everything. catch me trying to learn Likey’s choreo and looking like a Mess. Sana was the member i thought was going to be my bias when i was trying to pick during Knock Knock but Dahyun is my ultimate female bias now.

-Golden Child DAMDADI WAS THE BEST DEBUT I COULDVE HOPED FOR! I lowkey stanned Golden Child before debut actually. If anyone doesn’t know Golden Child google their song Sea, its like that song you wanna listen to in the warmth of the sunlight and just embrace idk its so??? SO!?!?!? I’m currently in a dilemma because i can’t choose my bias, it’s either Donghyun, Sungyoon or Jibeom, but i think those three are my top of the Golcha bias list, in that exact order

Madonna knew about my work in Harlem and how i got the children off the street by pounding nails and giving them food.

She wanted a song for everyone in the world but to dedicate it to the most hard-working Construction man or woman out there on my team

I said "they're all hard working... Tho but i say Jess-- because i don't pronounce the T and they all look at me but i also say it in different ways because of my accent always changing depending who I've been talking to most I always pick up on it so its sometimes with a y sound or an I or an e or even the U. So what do you think about that?"

"Oh yeah that would work the Jessies. Now how do you wanna spell it. But i just wanted to do it with one So how about i drop the last s? Oh that will work, see look Jessie and no s"

"Because the song is about one individual and we are all about individuality the last thing i want to do is sing about a group and jam them altogether. They're not plums, they're people. Yeah?"

"Its a surprise we keep track of their hours. 1,000 hours is a free house for their families. But i made a mistake in the beginning i had 3 kids and they worked 2,000 hours well almost 2225 actually and so i gave them two houses. But look the houses were really small and the kids were gonna have to share a bedroom, the two girls and they worked hardest so we just tore down a wall and gave them furniture -- for the girls because they did 1757.5 and then the boy and dad we just got them new beds and they kept the two kitchens. That was fun. One was old and not remodeled and the other was brand new, thats the way they wanted it said the girls so they could see how much work they had accomplished. Single dad. Raising 3 kids in the Bronx"

"Oh well that's not a mistake thats a blessing. And oh my those are Jessies i am going to think of them. Two girls i will say they're twins so in my mind one pregnancy and one child. Okay good. Don't tell me any different but when im done i want to meet what is real behind my inspiration!"

Madonna she made me cry a lot she is just so beautiful.

We did Harlem the most but we hit the Bronx, lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, even Central Park, Times Square. We went everywhere.

John Gray's mom worked in Manhattan as a nurse but they lived in Harlem. They both worked to earn a house after his mom got onto me about slave labor and we moved her into a brand new apartment complex in Lower Manhattan i had just bought halfway finished and used the same construction crew to complete. That was closer to the hospital and had better schools. Eventually they saved enough money and were able to fulfill their dreams to move back South.

1000 hours bought a house.

The kids that knew nothing or were clumsy had nails pounded in partially and they just had to finish pounding them in. Help carry and move things. We had older people and professionals that we didn't pay.

Grab and go breakfast like pastry or bagels, lunch of a sandwich and chips and dinner of the same. Water always and soda on the weekends. Juice at breakfast. If it lasted it did. No one left without a bag lunch even if they had just ate. We paid people to make food in an apartment. We called it "catered" Usually the real old ladies they worked in an assembly line. We paid them $5 per day plus they earned their full hours. But they needed pain meds just to keep up with the demand so we gave them the extra cash.

The lawyer Steve would shop and make sure all the names and hours and dates were recorded proper.

Some kids just went and ate. Steve would tell them they were thevies and had to work a half hour to not go to jail. And they would. He told them to buy the food they owed 6 hours per "plate" so they never bought it they just paid their time to stay out of jail because he was their lawyer and i was the judge. The cop was their guilt.

So we had a pretty sweet set up to get kids to buy houses through work.

We always printed a certificate on dot matrix printer and framed it and had them hang it in the houses near the door so they were always reminded who bought it and that good work is an honest living and its how you earn a good life.

We always know that 1000 hours will never buy a house and will barely pay the bills.

Yet it was Harlem and people were so poor and Ms Chen really got to me about that voting shit. How blacks couldn't vote till the 1965 law and how in the beginning of time no one could vote till they were a land owner.

So I said let's beat the government and haters and hypocrites!

Give not only the poorest but poorest blacks and let them know they can now vote!!! That's how we ended up on Harlem. Also I had seen the Harlem Globetrotters on TV and I thought a lot of people in Harlem were in wheelchairs -- Hey i may be reincarnated but I was only 5 and hadn't been to NYC to live since slavery was intact and even then it was a fee short years! i was from Detroit in my last life! And NYC was big!! I didn't know if they had a special section or what. My uncle dad laughed at me and took me to Harlem so we could see.

"Nope i don't see any wheelchairs. Will it still work for you?"

"Yeah let me talk to the people and we will see"

I talked to about 50 kids from the street and playground and about 10 adults. All the kids said they worried about money and their parents and the adults said things were okay but one who said it was rough but they were making it.

"Thanks for waiting these 3 hours. Well this is the place! Now excuse me for I must cry for all these kids"

This is why kids (and adults that touched my heart) got houses for only 1000 hours

Stingy Steve I called him... I wanted 100 hours but he said 1000 is more reasonable. He said 100,000 hours is more respectable and accurate but they were kids so 1000 hours was very respectable.

But because the children worried about money and places to live and about their parents.

We bought apartment complex after apartment complex. Renovated on kids labor and paid the children houses.

No one waa too young we had a one year old work with her parents. Usually I just babysat him when they both worked but usually they carried him ina sling... But if she had been sick or it was hot and sunny or they were carrying something they had been working on in, I got the baby.

I got some toddlers, too. They learned to drive nails like no one's business. Twin girls driving their momma nuts "can I just drop them here for a few? Its hot"

I got a panel of nail driving practice so I had them hammer it in Then look the other side to see they got it in Then hammer it out the other way.

The panel always had nails where the nails went in real work. So that in practice they got real location practice. They could see how if they nailed a nail or did a screw crooked how it would affect the work badly. The back side had the frame the panel went onto so they could see if it was a hit or miss.

Usually it was the sheet rock practice. But they had to practice screws also but we began with nails. Before the drill. Some kids had stole our drills so drills were practiced inside. But the dedicated kids got our drills back they knew who stole them.

So that day we had a graduation of Drill work and i got the practice panel back and i had me some toddlers.

Their mom was a lifter because she wasn't good on nails. She saw her babies missing from the shade so she came to look for us because sometimes i took them to the park but i always told her or left a note on my chair. And so she went to check and she saw me and they were behind the panel somewhat having lost interest and were pulling at the nails and feeling them and the board while my back rested

So momma learned to drive nails better because she could screw to assemble because Jesse would start the screws on counterwork and she would finish. So her and her babies learned alot that week.

We liked the kids to hang sheetrock because that was the building of a house. Then they would install plumbing and all that stuff. If we didn't have adults we had the kids build cabinetry. Or often had them build it together.

But we had professional craftsmen (construction workers and plumbers and electricians) teach the kids all the ins and outs of their new house so if any thing went wrong they could fix it.

So they did all the wiring and plumbing.

Id see kids walk out "i just installed a toilet!" I would see faces of disgust and amazement and pride and sometimes all at the same time. I would always applaud that, "you've installed your throne!"

That was the only thing they had to tell me about. Although i liked to hear about the sink. The toilet I had to hear about for my own amusement.

And because we would explain to them the history of toilets and so they would learn all about out houses before earning their toilets.

That is how they earned their materials. History and usually they had a small test. If they couldn't pass twice they had to come to me. Usually they were untrusting or shy so they would test in front of me and then I would say "i know you know that answer because when he read it to you your eyes lit up so what is in the back of your head behind your ear? That's the truth to the answer"

We had a lot of special education students. But they always earned their materials. Even if we took to dusk to help them learn it. There was a small handful I had to help especially because they had too much doubt or fear they were smart or educated. So I did a small class outside and did all their history tests with them. So then when it got to that material they then we're just read it again or talked about it or were asked what they remember most or their favorite information.

Eventually I had to go to the schools to talk to their teachers as to why they were in special ed. I wouldn't say their names but would say "a kid that says your he's teacher...."

Because one kid had memorized 3 pages of history word for word and had been in special ed for 3 years.

I got his mom to go with me on her off day after she saw and the kid "read" what he saw in his mind while the teacher read off the paper.

"Well he missed a few words he said "thee" not "thuh""

"Well that's an accent not a reading defect. He learned it from me allot. I'm English from England not from New York"

"Well we will have to take speech then"

"You can't. Its an accent. It's a way of speech. A dialect not a defect. Would you put Yosemite Sam in speech therapy?"

"Well you're stup--"

"Okay well I might be stupid or stup-eh-eh with your throat drowning out the sound of what you're going to say but you're not getting this kid out of special ed, not with your attitude"

"You're right. I'M NOT. I'M GETTING HIM OUT BECAUSE HE'S SMART AND MAYBE EVEN SMARTER THAN ALL OF US SITTING IN THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW. He could be the next Einstein and for what?!? Because he's black? Because he's Latino? I'm taking this to the school board. You're full of shit. Come on"

"No wait".

She took him out that very day. He went to Harvard and is now a Law Professor at Yale.

Y'all can do anything.

She got fired. Because I went to the principal who actually did complain as well and i went to the superintendent who knew nothing.

So i invited the school board to the streets of the Bronx. (Its where i started -- i was still trying to buy homes in Harlem) invited them to my table and had a list of kids that said they were in special education and had the superintendent and other school board members test them right Then and there.

She wasn't a bad person... She just wanted extra money for the school. But she was fucking with little kids heads and that wasn't right. That next school year special ed was less than half and they were the best testing school in the district.

Now i could say the same for Harlem but they tested out of NYC. They were in the Top 3 in the state.

I have an expert to update you on the rest of the success stories we have because we took the time to care and encourage as i hope you are all doing in homeschooling during Quarentine.

aestheticland is a nice place to be. i love aesthetic asoiaf graphics - i can forget for one minute the show has ever existed (no offense to the actors & crew, i admire their work but we have to be frank here) i have been active in this fandom since got season 2 started airing (i was a lover of the books but not a very dedicated fan. the show made me a ASOIAF fantatic, i wonder why) so here’s my two cents although I don’t have that many ASOIAF followers mind you… I lost some of them when I changed blogs (i was princekraken for years) :

- liveblog GOT even if all you do is bitch about it. we all do, it’s time to be honest, people. of course, if you feel like it could bother show only fans (bless their souls) tag “got critical” or something so their dash remains positive (and fairly empty i guess, let’s be real…). ASOIAF fans argue about GOT but we would have already died waiting for the Winds of Winter without it. And how do we bond over our shared frustration! so, yeah. liveblog. That’s how I “met” some of my fondest ASOIAF friends back in the day.(season 5 was a time for creating friendships) - remain open-minded. ASOIAF’s greatest strength, without a doubt, is the complexity of its characters. Sadly, this diversity can lead to endless battles about which characters are the Worst, the Best, the most Underrated, the Boring one, the most Disgusting, and then some. Virtual blood is shed over this, honestly. My advice to you is to stay far from this kind of discussion. Love and idolize your fave, who cares that Littlefinger is the true Hero of the Story according to you? I will think you’re entirely wrong, but hey, you do you as long as you don’t think I’m some kind of heretic because I disagree. I get having strong opinions over characters but in the end of the day, if you’re here to have fun, it’s vital that you take several steps back. Yes, even if you stumble upon a hate-filled post about your fave (TRUST ME. I KNOW.) I know some of us love to argue and it’s fine, I don’t police people! But my POV? as someone who used to discuss with every irrational Theon hater flooding our tag? it’s not worth it. you will be tired and bitter and dreaming you’d have just let gooooo. I exist in a world where people really believe a hostage owes loyalty to his captors. They’re wrong. I can explain why it’s wrong to them if they want. And it’s fine. If you learn to take a step back and not to enter every single argument ever you’re likely to attract the majority of us who just want to discuss our favourite fantasy book in peace. (Again, I’m not critical of those who love a good argument, not at all. - at first glance, it seems I’m contradicting myself but : don’t be afraid to speak your mind. It doesn’t mean you should argue all the time. yet, never forget it’s YOUR blog. don’t refrain yourself from expressing your opinion/analysis/meta because you think people will react badly. As long as you’re respectful, open-minded and that you tag your posts correctly, every opinion can be shared. It’s what fandoms are for!!!! (i know, shocking…) In my experience, it won’t make you lonely, on the contrary. Like minded people will flock at your doorstep, because the fans (in every fandom) you can have a rational, agreeable discussion with are so rare and precious. - in the same vein: if you have a strong attachment to one house/character/ship, be vocal about it! especially if it’s an unpopular one. sure, you won’t get 3 000 followers by nightfall BUT you will gain loyal support as people in small sub fandoms tend to be tightknit and united. (see: theon/house greyjoy fandom if you forget about the occasional ship wars) (which have no reason to exist since all ships are doomed anyway) (theyne excepted maybe? perhaps?)- it’s just me here but………having followers isn’t the goal. express yourself about the books (could be meta but also graphics, edits…) and eventually you will get followers that are interested in what you have to offer. it can be long because ASOIAF has a rather small fandom, in spite of the appearences. many people know of Game of Thrones but the Book Fandom remains quite intimidating for many people and you know what? i get that they’re afraid to express themselves because the debates here can get heated very very fast. but from my experience, most of us are just passionate as hell. It can translates in excessive reactions sometimes, when we didn’t mean to be agressive at all.

Although she hasn’t released an album in three years, Iggy Azalea’s name hasn’t been forgotten. Known for causing controversy — usually having to do with racial appropriation — the Australian rapper has beefed with everyone from Azealia Banks to Snoop Dogg.

Days before the release of her debut mixtape Ignorant Art Iggy releases a video for her song “D.R.U.G.S.” In the video she sings over the beat of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Look Out for Detox’, “When the relay starts, Im a runaway slave… Master, hitting on the past gotta spit it like a pastor.” This is an allusion to the lyric from his song, “When the relay starts, I’m a runaway slave.”

In an interview not long after the tweet, Iggy reflects on the tweet claiming Banks said, “I’m next level, I had a song about being a Barbie before Nicki Minaj had a song about being a Barbie. A photo of Azalea without makeup went viral and Snoop Dogg even joined in. He posted this photo on his Instagram and the feud began.

Iggy responded to the Instagram with a string of tweets calling him out for being two faced and about how her bodyguard “stopped the fire truck that saved your friends life in canada when he almost burnt down the hotel.” Shortly after, TMZ ran a story about Iggy being “fuming mad over Snoop’s insta slam.” The two went back and forth with Azalea tweeting her feelings while Snoop continued to post memes on his Instagram clearly not bothered by the incident.

Iggy did not respond.

An anonymous hacking group claimed that they would leak rumored sex tape pictures if Iggy did not apologize for her actions. They wrote, “You are guilty of misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters, and making light of Eric Garner’s death”. Their account was then suspended.
