BASED ON THE POLL, I was really surprised that the majority of you guys voted Pomefiore. Like- I wasn’t really expecting any dorm to win, but Pomefiore is the least expected for me idk why😭

As to why I drew her in Diasomnia’s uniform, it’s actually the correct (kinda) answer to which dorm Sippy’s most suitable in! I’ve done a quiz twice on which dorm I’d be in twst, and the answer was always Diasomnia. It fits!

Every time I think about Diasomnia I think about the military/guards/knights/soldiers (like Sebek & Silver) so I wanted to make her design realistic those two (ex.the pants, adding combat boots, no braids) . What if this is the contest that winning would aid you the most? After all, isn't Takane herself autistic?" Mob, eyes wide and blushing, loudly interrupts with "S-SHE IS??"

Third page: Mob asks, "How do you know??" Tome, her arms crossed, eyes closed and a smirk on her face, says "Look. I'm autistic. You're autistic. We're ALL autistic, I know my kin, alright?" Under her breath, (under the speech bubble) she also adds "Plus I kind of heard her say "Leave me alone, I'm autistic" once," before she interrupts herself, her arms spread wide and flapping, with "but that's beside the point!" She continues in the next panel, only one of her moving hands visible as Mob looks up at her, wide-eyed, "My point is, maybe this is your chance to show her what you're all about; that you know who you are; are secure in your identity, proud of it, even!"

Fourth page: Tome crosses her arms again, a confident smirk on her face as she looks down at Mob and asks, "So tell me. What are you gonna do?" Mob, hunched in, shyly responds, ".... I'm gonna win...?" Off screen, Tome replies: "Say it with more confidence!" And Mob does, back straightening and a blush creeping in: "I- I'm gonna win!" Something I have noted before is that as a technocrat utilitarian-esque person (not a Benthamite or anything), my commitment to democracy as a political system is pretty instrumental. If an enlightened despot (like say me!) ruled the country and employed idk large advisory councils to make the people feel heard while still deciding on policy themselves, and that system functioned better than democracy by the admission of its own people in some "objective" way we could know, that would be fine, I would be okay with such a system. All government, even democracy, serves humanity, not itself. I am such a strong supporter of democracy not because it is ethically pure, but because enlightened despotism fails virtually every single time, the inherent politics of governance just make rule by a "people's mandate" more effective. I don't put the mandate on a pedestal, its half illusion anyway and is just a tool for a job.

And if I apply that logic to governance, so too must I apply that logic to protest. Its very common to critique radical political action from the lens of "they are a loud minority forcing its views on a silent majority" - and that critique is perfectly correct! The say Columbia protestors want the university to reverse policies based on demands they, a non-elected group, wrote up. Even if the "majority" might, if asked, support such an action, definitionally outsider political groups lack the tool of state to hold a vote on it regardless. Protests are, from this view, totally undemocratic. They often meet in the middle on this - citing polls or non-binding, ill-specified referendas and such, like in Columbia's case - but its still a compromise, very often a laughable one, they normally just put action above legitimacy.

But who cares? This is true of pretty much all protests, revolutions and such throughout history. If you opposed every single one of them then you do you I guess, but most don't. If the cause is justified, the strategy sound enough, and price worth paying, and you happen to win its worth it. Even if you don't, maybe its still worth it, history will decide. That is just reality; no political system, anywhere, ever, has functioned on unlimited consensus -almost all assign the large majority of agency to non-democratic forces. Dissident movements certainly can't be held to a higher standard.

So to apply it to the university protests, I personally don't think these protests have a viable strategy or even the right goals, so they aren't my pick of a horse to back. But the idea that its wrong for them to be "overriding the interest of the majority" yeah that is called politics. If the majority wants a voice, protest back, make your own plays, pressure leadership call in the cops (which, if the protest is bad, is also contextually fine to do! That has to go both ways), or do nothing and be confident in your silent power. The ethics complaint just isn't much of a criticism in my book.

These ideas just popped into my head while I was looking at the results of your Danny hair length poll, so I'm taking that as a sign to send them to you;

So I love Jason/Danny, but I also love me some dad!Jason fics, and thus a conundrum.

Except, through my love of Jason and dad!Hood I discovered Roy and Lian, and Roy/Jason, and I will forever be a messy lil multishipper at heart, and a lover of domesticity (esp for those who don't live normal lives) and doing your best by a child.

So I'm genuinely surprised there aren't really any fics with Jay and Roy, either established or getting together, raising Lian and Danny (deaged, or teen). If romantic Jason/Roy isn't your thing, I think they would also make lovely Queer Platonic partners 😊

But the main idea I initially had was Jason/Danny, or Jason/Danny/Roy (and I will remind, cause people forget, that not everyone in a polycule needs to have the same kind of relationship to each other, so playing with that can be fun too). And Danny is in Gotham and to all eyes was a teen dad, because he has Ellie, who maybe hasn't aged at all physically or has been deaged, or happened later, and he's trying to make it work.

If it happened later, maybe he had gotten things together enough to get a scholarship to Gotham U, and then Vlad tried to clone him in a last ditch attempt to sabotage/control him, or because he saw Danny leaving his area of control and got desperate for a replacement. So then maybe Danny could be trying to balance school and a job and taking care of Ellie, however old you would have her be.

Or maybe he's just working and trying to be a parent and struggling along.

And anyway, he meets Jason or Redhood.

OR alternatively, Ellie meets Lian! At preschool or daycare or school or the park, again depends on age, and that's how Danny meets Jason and Roy. Maybe Jay was babysitting, or they were visiting, or maybe they're a couple or co-parenting Lian.

Idk, a lot of this was brought on by the idea of Danny not having time to get his hair cut, and having lil Ellie so doing each other's hair and then a train of all of them doing each other's hair.

Just... domesticity, ya know?

Today has been rough and domesticity is soothing.

Hahaha! Yeah, that is quite the conundrum, huh? You want the father-son relationship between Jason and a de-aged Danny, who understands him even if he's young and doesn't really understand the world like he used to. But then there's still Jason/Danny, and all the ways they oppose and relate to each other is always just so *chef's kiss* I really love Roy/Jason, I've read some great fics with them acting as a unit, even if they aren't always a couple. A lot of times it's just background, with Jason helping Roy with Lian, but I have such a soft spot for them. There is a bit of an age gap between Jason and Roy, actually, since Roy was with Dick during his Robin days and even then he was older than Dick. And sometimes I have to wonder how much that affects people shipping them or not?

But regardless, Jason and Roy both have such a complex history with their mentors/father figures, and their own relationship with heroism that I think it would be a really fun spin to include Danny on it. He doesn't really have that problem with a mentor that's hurt them in some way, but at the same time he's never had a mentor at all. Unless you're making this an AU where the Ancients kinda step into that position for him.

I do love the idea of Jason adopting a de-aged Danny as well, of course. I absolutely adore Imprint by Hashtag_DriveBy where we see Jason take in a young Danny, and we even see Roy kinda stepping up and helping out. What I really enjoy about the idea is that Jason is making the executive decision to reach out and ask for help from others, which I would say he's always really struggled with. He can be very prideful, and paranoid and distrusting to boot, which can be a very unfortunate combination. But the idea of Jason having a little Danny in his life and trying to do right by him, and learning and healing along the way always makes me soft.

As for a Jason/Danny or a Jason/Danny/Roy idea... I think the best route would be for a 14 year age difference between Danny and Ellie. Obviously, she could be aged-up thanks to Vlad's machinations, but based on an outsider's POV, it would 'explain' a lot of Danny's behavior in high school. Danny could have learned about her when he was turning seventeen or just graduating (depending on what you headcanon Danny's birthday, he could graduate at 17 and then turn eighteen in the same year, doesn't have to be anything complicated). She would be... 2 or 3 years old? Again, depending on what age Danny is, and when people find out about Ellie they get all these ideas about what Danny's been up to, and thinking "oh that's where Danny goes when he's running off randomly" or "that's why Danny's constantly tired and sleeping in school, because he was up all night taking care of a baby". Those sorts of excusing. It gives a good cover for his hero identity!

Another option instead of having Danny attend GothamU is have him get a trade job/apprenticeship, since he could go pretty much anywhere with that sort of training. Plus, he gets paid on the job even as an apprentice. I know a lot of people like the idea of Danny being a barista or a waiter, and while I definitely like those ideas as well... Realistically... In the U.S. it's not a living wage... And if Danny has a kid to take care of... I can't see him taking more than one job if he has to worry about Ellie at home. Especially if she's really young, like- too young to go to school. A degree would help a great deal, of course, but he does still have to work, so I feel like a trade job would be the best compromise. So he could be... a mechanic! That's one way for Danny to meet Jason, if Jason has some vehicles that need to be repaired and he doesn't want to go to Bruce. He could be an aircraft maintenance technician, that's closer to his love for spaceships. Nonetheless, he can later on go to school when Ellie is older and/or in school of her own.

I actually like the idea of Jason meeting Danny in his job, and they slowly get to know each other, and eventually Jason tries to ask Danny out, only for Danny to mention having to pick up or get home to his daughter. And Jason is surprised at first, of course, but then maybe he mentions his friend's daughter, and asking about how old Danny's daughter is- It all culminates in Jason meeting Ellie and then him falling in love as he watches Danny and Ellie interact. He gets Roy to come over, and it bites him in the ass because now Roy and Danny are getting along swimmingly and Jason has been delegated to babysitter. But eventually, the kids go to bed and they get to learn more about each other.

I like the idea of it being a slow burn, where at first they're all just trying to help each other out. Roy would understand Danny's struggles into parenthood, but thankfully Danny also wouldn't have to worry about getting clean and getting past an addiction. He would have to worry about the other (villain) parent possibly getting in the way and making things worse. Cheshire is usually shown to have given Lian up in order to protect her, but that doesn't mean her life style can't bite Roy and Lian in the ass sometimes.

Depending on the ages too, Lian and Ellie could try to play matchmaker and get their dads (plus Jason! You've gotta have Jason, in their opinions. He makes the best food) together. Due to all the movies they watch, they think it has to be something crazy romantic and something out of a fairytale. But things keep on getting messed up, and they're disappointed nothing comes out of it, but they keep trying. But, without them realizing it, those three have been getting closer all along.

Damn, I've got a lot of feelings about this. Sorry for the ramble. :P

Hello everyone, it's the guy whose computer exploded on him once as well as the only Ciel fan in America (Seriously, I'm glad some fans know about Quest nowadays). Thankfully, the computer's slowly but surely getting fixed, so who knows, maybe I'll continue Arle's route next month due to every week having something planned this time around. (Apologies, Arle route watchers)

As the silly meme about PuyoLympics comes around and goes around (Thanks Witch,) I haven't neglected to speak about what the poll wanted to speak about: Serilly's Happy Birthday.

Would you call this a character speculated episode? It's more of a game starring a character, but I dunno.

First, let's talk about its origins:

Serilly's Happy Birthday was released in 1998 from Disc Station Volume #18, a magazine that carried either demos of games or full blown games, on the Windows 95.

(For some extra info, there were 2 sets of magazines. Issues #0-32 and Volume #1-27.)

It's a little unclear what month this was released, but we can make do with what we got.

However, and idk if this is big news or not, but I think I found an page covering Serilly's Happy Birthday, though not in the best quality out there.

I haven't seen this anywhere on the Puyo Nexus, or anywhere else really, so take this with a grain of salt. If true though, I adore how it looks.

Apparently it was made by the people who made the Tower of the Magician artstyle, which would make a ton of sense, but take this with a grain of salt.

(No Schezo though. Yeah he just makes a cameo, but hey, would've been nice.)

So, whats the game about?

The game itself is a Princess-Maker (Or in a better term, Social Simulation, didn't know the name first time around,) type game, a genre where you see the world of our own and the fictional world. Take Animal Crossing or Tomodachi Life for example. Or The Sims.

The story is that Serilly was given the ability to go on land, but she still doesn't have any legs. Minor misconception but an understandable one.

You then...simply put, plan Serilly's birthday as a whole, going through a week by week basis to get to the end of the year.

You may wonder what the numbers mean on the left. I'm glad you asked. They're stats that increase whilst doing activities with Serilly, such as dancing with Incubus, studying with Satan Masked Principal, I believe training with Samurai Mole, cleaning with Kikimora, etc.

From top left to bottom right, it goes Power, Head(? Due to Samurai Mole,) Cuteness, Story(? Or negotiation.), Kindness, and fatigue. These points are given in random increments, and doing too much tires Serilly, so heads up on on that.

Wait, Supports?

Now you may wonder what I mean by supports. Well, to get an ending, along with Stat Points, you need to talk to the person themselves, which is why with my little Fire Emblem brain, call them supports. You have to have spoken to them enough, as well as get the necessary stats to get their ending, which is why it's so hard to get Draco's ending, least from what I see and hear. And Witch flat out won't talk to you if you're too stupid for her apparently.

However, while a little one-note, the supports and talks themselves are very charming in their own right, and they look stupid good to boot.

(A small support you can get with Witch.)

So, with those 6 characters I mentioned for the endings, there's 7 possible endings. One of them is NO ONE going to Serilly's birthday. If I ever got this ending, I'm retiring from everything.

Serilly herself is still fairly shy, but much more outgoing than what we're used to, which is nice considering she's the star of the show. I genuinely like how she's written here. Not Waku Puyo levels of great, but still top 2 IMO.

The characters themselves are roughly the same, with some expections. For example, the Masked Principal is actually incredibly nice to you, which is just...amazing tbh, Rulue is more dedicated to her training than anything, and Schezo...sucks as a character this time around. He's just a dude walking around saying "I want you!" like an actual pervert rather than just being a goofball about it. Oh, the misery. (Everybody wants to be my enemy...)

But what do some of these endings look like? Unfortunately, our old pal "The 10 image limit," has attacked us once again, and so, I can only show 4 of them.

But they're the popular characters so...I guess we win this time.

I genuinely love how this game looks, man. And the endings themselves are super charming in their own way. I believe in the Masked Principal ending, she helps people swim (Panotty, Archan?, Honey Bee, and Kodomo Dragon,) and it's honestly super cute.

So what do I personally think?

I think this game is incredibly interesting, as it's something that Disc Station or Puyo has a whole hasn't really seen. They chose an interesting character with Serilly, and they honestly made this game look visually stunning. The music is nice to listen to, and the characters are fairly nice to you for the most part, which is a nice change of pace considering it's, well... Serilly.

Overall, if you can ever find a way to see gameplay of the sort, check it out.

This is a shorter Puyo Extras, but I think I covered most of the basis of this game. That'll be all for now.

Sparta royal family headcanons?? Any generation.

I HAVE A LOT AND PROBABLY HAVE TO RESEARCH MORE BUT I DO!!!! >:D Thank you for the ask!!! *headbonks*

So we don't know much info with Hippocoon and how that went down yet other than basics YET or if I plan for him to be a half-brother to Icarius and Tyndarius. BUt Icarius and Tyndarius are opposites in that Tyndarius is a worrywart and Icarius is just vibing most of the time. Tyndarius is also just dealing with more stuff...they're their generation's version of Agamemnon and Menelaus in a way with how one brother takes a lot of the brunt for the other except both have a happy ending :'D )

Also, neither are the best fighters as while Sparta was pretty big on military they were exiled for a bit. Another thing with them, being half-naiad, (and being surrounded by others like them), it makes it kind of easy to tell when one of your kids is fucking with one of your advisors as they can feel the water being moved as well. It's harder for Icarius though as his children are more naiad than him. It's easy for Tyndarius as Clytemnestra is less naiad than him. Kind of go into that here, just not with the specific family dynamics :D Also might change some things

I didn't plan for naiads and naiad-born to really have scales but now I'm kind of coming around to it because I just KNOW Tyndarius picks at them and Leda has to do the whole "stop that". (might have to redo that post I did on naiads because of it, or maybe just have a poll just for the homies :P might be skin colored and just be different skin texture. idk for sure) Also while Icarius and his whole family are pretty okay about water and spend a lot of time in the water as Periboea is a Naiad and all his children are 3/4th naiad, Tyndarius often forgets that he needs to get into the water every once in a while. Leda doesn't technically need it and his children are only 1/4th so they don't need it as often.

Leda: Dear, when was the last time you went for a swim? You've been looking over those tablets for a while, I'll take over. loosely based on clay records found at Knossos :P I think they're neat. LINEAR B, BITCHES! Tyndarius: Oh, it has been a bit! Let me finish this one up before I do. Leda, getting annoyed at him scratching at himself just dumps a pot of water over him: Better? Tyndarius: Yeah, actually! :D

It's...sometimes a bit of a problem when you're a person who needs to be damp often and two of your children kind of always have a lot of static electricity :'D

I know Leda and Tyndarius have affection for one another, but I don't really have a plan for how they got together :P I DO kind of for Icarius and Periboea though! :D All I know is that Icarius being a runner, it's really funny to me to think this guy, being half-naiad, just fucking RUNS on water for funsies, which annoyed Periboea when he's back from exile. Plan for them to have a pretty happy marriage, though sadly, that's not the case for all their children :') and that's part of the reason why he tries to get Penelope to stay in Sparta as he's overprotective of them all while also desperately not wanting them to have feuds like what happened to him and Tyndarius.

Lil bit of spoiler but...Hermione was 5 years old when her mom was kidnapped and she was a bit traumatized by it. :') as she kind of got to see it happen

Soooooooo... y'know, I've noticed that I always hit the limit for the ask box like... Really quickly every week XDDDD. Not to say this is a bad thing (it actually makes me happy that you are all interested), but it makes me wonder if me closing the ask box so soon every time is annoying. Which, fair enough. Because time zones exist so only a handful of people will actually be awake and have the time to ask questions when the ask box opens.

So I've decided that this week, maybe I should try something different. Because it hasn't been an hour and the ask box is literally one ask away from hitting the limit.

The ask box will be open for 24 hours, and will stay open for 24 hours, starting from when I had opened the box. There is no limit. Go wild everyone. The only con to this is that I will not open the box again until the new chapter is released. Meaning, the ask box will not open again on Tuesday/Wednesday like it usually does.

Idk how this will go so this is more of a trial run than anything. I might actually do a poll to see what you guys like better.

Anyways, I hope this message reaches those who want to read it :DDD

IMPORTANT UPDATE

It brings me with great sorrow that I must close the ask box prematurely ｡⁠:ﾟ⁠(⁠;⁠´⁠∩⁠`⁠;⁠)ﾟ⁠:⁠｡. Hi there! Sorry I haven’t been active all that much lately. I’ve lately been working on a project, going on vacation irl, and I’ve been juggling art block.

So I’m having a bit of a problem right now in terms of the FNAF Security Breach AU idea… thingie. I’ve been trying to figure out who in babtqftim/IM I should make the main Glamrock animatronics. Because the personalities between the two universes are so different I’m having difficulty choosing. Technically even who I assigned as Sun and Moon wouldn’t have been my first choice. (I would have make cup be moon and mugs sun because of the personalities but I chose the current arrangement because of color scheme. Maybe not my best choice but can you really imagine a blue sundrop and red moondrop? It’s weird TWT) And this idea wasn’t really supposed to be a whole thing but apparently people like this enough to want more so yeah.

So! To fix this problem! I’m gonna ask you guys to vote on the arrangement you thing would work best! I belive the general idea we have is that these personalities are going to be purposefully different and we’ll blame the Vanny virus on the change. “Making them evil” kinda thing ig. Because these animatronics are already themed around different animals and we’re assigning animal characters some characteristics and qualities may change. Idk. We’ll see.

The ideas we have so far are:

1. Bendy as Freddy, Felix as Monty, Boris as Roxy, and Alice as Chika

2. Felix as Freddy, Bendy as Monty, same arrangement for Roxy and Chika

3. Have Boris as Gregory, and Bendy as Freddy, Felix as Monty, Alice as Roxy and maybe Cala as Chika.

4. Do villains from IM with Felix or Bendy as Freddy, and Roxy and Chika as Ava and Sarah. Not sure yet about Monty. Maybe Brute or Reide. Idk. And then try to sprinkle questers throughout the AU somewhere.

5. OR! Rearrange everyone and start over! Including Sunnycup and MoonMug!

With the new release of FNAF security breach ruin some things might change. I don’t know. And I might also be willing to try to include Glamrock Bonnie, Music Man, and some of the other bots in the game like map/security bots and wet floor signs? And maybe Glamrock Foxy? I don’t know as much about them so that’s kinda iffy. We’ll see.

Just a little reminder that I've slowed down production as far as writing goes. I'm still writing daily. Sometimes it's a sentence, sometimes it's 3k words, but I'm trying to be kinder to myself and remember that it's a hobby, not a job. I also really want to start my novel and stop pressuring myself to finish fics FIRST so I'm doing that.

the amount of times ive drawn something that i thought i would be appealing or even only make sense to an audience of me and maybe 2 other people, only for it to get blown out of the water with response is shockingly often

like hoffman and strahm from the Saw franchise getting high together, yeah

but also my nonsense comics about Michael Myers from specifically the Thorn trilogy, the RZ remake, and the Green sequel hanging out like weird brothers

or every time I draw a weird AU like slashers as fish. or mini characters that live in the pockets of either someone else or the normal versions of themselves

any self indulgent crossover ive ever made like Jason hanging out with Godzilla and Mothra

and i do it for every fandom. if anyone remembers my old spn comics and AUs, some of those were off the wall cryptic and nonsensical. to the likes of which i havent come close to recreating

many of these get hundreds to thousands of notes/likes/whatever on various websites. so many people just see my nonsense and let me take their hand, no questions asked

thats it i just think its funny

i think i rambled this already but deleted it bc it felt too dumb but actually i dont think its dumb. i think its really interesting and relieving that people actually want my sketches and doodles and dumb things.

& yea i enjoy occasionally making a fully rendered piece but i mean. its not easy, and im never totally happy with the end result most of the time. but if im only posting sketches and doodles and sketchy doodly comics i feel bad like i feel like im just holding people over until the next piece where i actually put in effort.

but it turns out people are totally ok with stuff that i dont kick my own ass trying to polish. people arent settling for it, people voted- they want it.

and i dont know where this attitude against myself came from because i was never unhappy seeing sketches from artists i like

maybe its the part inside of me, which im pretty sure is inside every artist who has ever experienced self doubt, which makes me feel like i should be putting my best effort into everything. like, if i could only just muster up the courage to fully render some of these comics I do, then they would be even better...

but i wouldnt have as much fun. thats too much work, i get overwhelmed

so, they stay sketches. with varying degrees of refinement and shading.

so idk im glad ppl like them

Guess I'm going to be less active on here now... something's happened to make me rather uncomfortable using this site. Judge me as you will but here it is:

You may know I'm rather deep into the Tolkien fandom on here. Frankly... it's not a great place. The most messed-up shipping ever + people stanning the baddies, so yeah. The latter especially has really made me anxious and a few days ago I came upon a set of polls: "Which of the queens of the Valar is your favourite", "Which of the lords of the Valar is your favourite". The former was fine but the latter included morgoth (who shouldn't actually be there and afaik Tolkien didn't count him among the Valar most of the time) and at 20% votes he was winning the poll ://😬

I obviously know it's just a book, but I think this is reflective of irl attitudes, so to say. not necessarily that everyone who votes that way is a satanist, but there is a subset of people who have taken their idealisation of rebellion/dislike of authority (esp. Divine Authority)/ stance against Christianity as far as to sympathize with the devil (though they may not believe in him). Maybe this isn't exactly new (paradise lost syndrome); maybe the popularity of this attitude at least is... idk

"Only 20% of the votes" or "as much as 20% of the votes"... again idk. But I feel uncomfortable as it is and having voted for someone else doesn't exclude sympathizing... And I'm worried that this correlates with the percentage (if it isn't larger) of Tumblr users holding this attitude in general. Of course not you. But Tumblr's mode of functioning means you can't cut yourself off from people you don't know... and it's not that I want to. I just feel as if this could harm me.

Anyway. Idk how to end this, so there's no conclusion. I've said approximately what I wanted to say.

✨ NEWS ABOUT NIGHTBRINGER ✨

The developers and translators of Obey me are currently holding an "Ask me anything" event on Reddit and while I'm sure the news about it are already being spread through the whole fandom, I thought it would be cool to share them here in case someone hasn't seen them + to share my opinions about it!

ABOUT THE ORIGINAL OBEY ME + NEW LESSONS AFTER LESSON 80

Well, I bring bad news:

I already suspected it but now it's clear: the original Obey me game will stop having story updates. It will only get events because new lessons are directly going to be added to Nightbringer.

First, I would like to recommend something because I've seen it happen with other franchises (and I hope it doesn't happen with OM but better be safe than sorry):

Try to play up until lesson 80 as soon as you can (and don't spend too much money/time on your cards in the original game)

In some franchises, when they release a new game and stop updating the main story in the previous one, that just means that original game is getting closer to being abandoned or close its servers because it's expensive to run the servers for more than one game. It wouldn't be weird if like one year from now they would announce the original obey me is closing.

Also, people have asked about it but the devs have not answered those questions so we don't know if there will be any option to transfer your cards to the new game (more likely it won't)

So I wanted to see what you guys think about it! (yeah, I totally meant to do this. It's not like I accidentally clicked the poll button and now since I'm writing this on mobile it doesn't let me erase it idk why)

ABOUT THE LORE

More disappointments to me, honestly (and there's more to come).

I'm talking about the "being closer to how they were in the Celestial realm" thing.

I am a first season + enemies to lovers lover so I was hoping we could get a replay of that, maybe even better if the brothers are newly born demons and have their traumas and fears as fresh as they can. I hoped we could come back to the threats, them trying to k*ll us, them not trusting us and seeing us only as a simple lowly human... And seeing how love finds a way between all of that.

That's what I hoped but oh boy have those hopes been crashed. We know they've toned it down a lot it OM since we are in relationships with them, but I hoped they could give us that content in Nightbringer... Seems I was trusting too much.

And about the pacts thing... How is it that we are going to make pacts in the past if we had to make them in the future already...? Wondering how this would play out

Also, this scares me. In various answers they've said you can perfectly enjoy Nightbringer without playing Obey me. But they've also said the story will eventually continue from lesson 80 in Nightbringer.

I hope we are not up for another "rewriting the future" plot here... Because if people with 0 knowledge of the lore can play Nightbringer and then continue from lesson 81 fully without playing the previous 80 lessons... Either we will have a completely different timeline or they're adding those 80 lessons to the game eventually. (I hope it's the latter. If they rewrite the lore I'll be mad)

ABOUT ROMANCE

Good and maybe bad news here.

First, side characters (including Thirteen, Raphael and Mephisto, as they hinted at in another answer) will be romanceable!!

But it seems that even if we don't have routes, they've tried to make the dynamics of "dating one brother" more detailed. Which I love and scares me at the same time because I have like 4-5 favourites in the game. But they've said you can still date multiple of them so I hope they maintain that feature like in the other game

Also, IMPORTANT: I couldn't take a picture of this answer but they also said that, specially in calls, they've tried to put emphasis in how the rest of characters react to us flirting/dating another character. That can be a really cool feature to the game or can make us feel bad. We will have to wait and see

Also for some reason I'm having trouble with coming up for last name for kazumakibino family because we don't know any of Kazuya's canon last names so here's a couple of possible scenarios I came up with:

Possibility 1) Combining both of Kazuya's canon first names and make him Kazuya Futsuo and having Futsuo as their last name

Possibility 2a) Leave Uchida their family name because for some reason Kazuya resented his biological father for leaving him and his mom so much that he took his wife's last name after marriage instead of other way around, despite it being unpopular in Japan, because he hated the idea of giving his future children, his father's last name

Possibility 2b) Since in this AU I headcanon Kazuya's mom as Akemi Nakajima's cousin and their fathers (Kazuya's grandpa) to be brothers and her having Nakajima as her maiden name - after divorce with Kazuya's dad, she not only changed her own last name to her maiden name but also her young son's just to spite her ex-husband. And since Kazuya became a proffesional Demon Summoner when he grew up? It's actually difficult to be Demon Summoner AND having your last name Nakajima since Akemi came up with Demon Summoning Program that changed summoning forever. Maybe he was tired of always having to say "Yes, I'm from these Nakajimas BUT NO AKEMI ISN'T MY FATHER FOR GOD'S SAKE, HE'S JUST MY UNCLE" so that's why after marriage he took Tamaki's name just for people to stop asking if he's "from THESE Nakajimas"

Possibility 3 connected to 2b) (To be honest I'm convinced the less about it because even if Akemi is Kazuya's uncle I don't want the whole family to associate with him that much I guess?) He was renamed after divorce to his mom's maiden name and he just stayed Nakajima and that's their last name

And if someone wondering about V-kun's name - I actually headcanon him being named Naobi because of Nahobino term ethymology coming from Naobi-no-kami. So yeah he would be called either Naobi Futsuo, Naobi Uchida or Naobi Nakajima in this AU

But yeah idk which last name to choose haha and I really want to choose one because I want to make that family tree 😭😭 I'm personally thinking either possibility 1 or possibility 2a or 2b, I don't think possibility 3 would be a good choice but I'm not sure 😭 I'd appreciate some help! (Should I make a poll??)
