he would have been an excellent swordsman, a gallant knight, a kind and caring prince.

i hc he would have been 2-3 years younger than pavetta, so 6 years old when roegner died, 11 when pavetta married duny, 22 at the time of the fall of cintra.

he would have bravely fought by his mother's side during the battle of marnadal and carried the wounded calanthe back to the castle. he would have helped her lead the defence of the castle from her deathbed and helped with the evacuation of ciri.

he would have either been killed by cahir like the rest of the knights that escorted ciri, or he would have been the only one to survive, and then lead the resistance together with vissegerd.

a sweet little boy of failing health, born small and premature.

i hc he would have been 6 years younger than pavetta. 4 years old when their father died, 9 when pavetta married duny, 14 at the time of his death.

i think his poor health would prompt calanthe to send him often to skellige, following her marriage to eist. he would often accompany pavetta during her visits to the isles, clinging to her dress. calanthe hoped that the climate of skellige would help him more than the palace in cintra did, and that ultimately led to his death, for he too was aboard the ship when the storm hit, and died with his older sister.

alternatively, he would have been left by pavetta ashore, asked to tend to and care for ciri, but that would lead to his death of pneumonia just two years later. a sweet child, doomed by the narrative just as pavetta was.

STEVE & BUCKY'S LOVE STORY, UNABRIDGED SOMEWHAT ABRIDGED, part 2/3 (here is part 1)

picking up from where we left off:

some 65 years into the future, steve's plane is fished out of the ice, and they find him, frozen like a sexy hot-dayum popsicle, but still alive thanks to the same super serum that made him go from Smol to Lorge.

steve is thus brought back into the world, but it's a world he no longer recognizes after all these years; a world where all the people he used to know and love are long dead, and his own face has been turned into a tool for propaganda over the years. obviously, he has a hard time adjusting, and he turns to fighting again, joining this group of kinda possibly superheroes, aka the avengers.

lots of exciting new things happen, sure; but steve is still pretty miserable. until one day, a mysterious masked assassin dressed in bondage gear (but not really), and sporting one very shiny metal arm (!!!!), is sent to kill steve's sort-of-boss. and then to kill steve himself. oh no!!

in what is possibly the most gripping, most visually pleasing hand-to-hand fight sequence in the history of cinema,

(NO BUT SERIOUSLY, all jokes aside, if you've never watched it then please do bc it's!!! *shrieks* so fucking good!!!)

a fight sequence which also happened to unlock both steve's and an entire fandom's competence kink with that little sexy knife-flipping trick alone -- i know you know what i'm talking about, don't you lie to me babes--

as i was saying, steve manages to knock the mask off of his opponent's face. and who do you think appears before him? can you guess??

DING DING DING!!! EXACTLY!!! IT'S HIS LONG-LOST BAE BUCKY! who apparently doesn't recognize him??

confused and upset, steve fights to uncover the truth. turns out, the man is indeed the very same bucky he grew up with and loved. only, he didn't actually die in that tragic fall in the ravine; rather, due to the experiments performed on him while he was a war prisoner, he survived long enough to be found and captured by the enemy. who then proceeded to torture and brainwash him, using him as a tool for murder against his will, and literally putting him back in the freezer when they didn't need him.

which, as it happens, is how he stayed so young in the first place: he, uh, spent the better part of 70 years frozen. yeaaah, are the parallels paralleling or what, hmmmm?? preserved in ice like your mom's best lasagna from last week? plunging to a 'death' that isn't really a death? waking up in the future kinda screwed over? :D

ANYWAY

steve is even more devastated than before, now that he's learned that while he was asleep in the ocean, bucky was out there suffering. when he finally confronts bucky again (and it's fucking epic and also fucking heartbreaking, believe you me) steve is desperate to bring bucky, his bucky, back. knowing in his heart that his bae is still somewhere in there, no matter how deeply buried.

in the most critical moment(TM), steve chooses to stay behind, on a plane that's about to fucking blow up around them - just like bucky did for him all those years ago - because if he can't save bucky, then he'd rather die with him.

only, bucky is scared and confused af at the moment, and he attacks steve, because 1) he has a mission after all, he's supposed to kill this guy dammit, and 2) wtf is even going on here??? who IS this man, WHY does he keep saying that they've known each other their whole lives?? and WHY does bucky feel like he's actually seen him somewhere else before?????

AND HERE IS THE PIVOTAL MOMENT OF ALL PIVOTAL MOMENTS: for the first time in his life, steve refuses to fight back. like he literally drops his shield out of the plane and into the river underneath, in a very powerful and symbolic gesture, signifying his surrender: he's not going to hurt bucky anymore, no matter what. THIS FUCKER LITERALLY LETS BUCKY BEAT HIM TO A PULP, WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO DEFEND HIMSELF, 100% ready to let bucky kill him if that's what's gonna happen here, because that's still better than living in a world where bucky's gone - a world where bucky will look at him and only see a target, or a stranger at best.

and then!!!!

no this is like, this is THE most romantic shit, okay, like you could try to convince me that it isn't for the next hundred years and i wouldn't buy it, because. BECAUSE.

at the very last moment, steve finally manages to break through bucky's brainwashing, breaking the metaphorical spell bucky was under. and do you know how he does that? i ask you, do you know how steve does that, my love?

by repeating to bucky the very same words bucky offered him way back in the beginning, when he proposed asked steve to move in together. till death do us part the end of the line, baby. romeo could NEVER

bucky, who was about to deal the fatal blow, freezes instantly, finally recognizing the man under him.

and when steve falls out of the plane, bucky jumps after him, instinctively saving his life instead.

but bucky can't stay. confused, wounded, vulnerable, and only just beginning to remember who he used to be and what was done to him, he slips away and hides from steve - and from all the other people who might be looking for him, and probably want him dead. you think this is gonna stop steve, though?? now that he knows that bucky is still alive, and that he remembers him??? now that he knows that bucky's not lost to him forever?? AS IF!!

Aizo and Yujiro, the constantly bickering pair that made up the active idol unit known as LIPxLIP, had a relationship of friendly rivalry with each other as they worked towards a shared goal.

On a day leading up to the new year, their apprentice manager, Hiyori, called out to them with an “I have something great to tell you!”—

Aizo: A New Year’s variety programme, you said…?

Yujiro: And it will be livestreamed…?

Hiyori: Yup! The stream will begin right after the year changes, so we don’t have much time…

Hiyori: But the director said that they absolutely had to have you guys participate in the programme, and extended an offer to you!

Hiyori: Your fellow participants will include other idols, entertainers,  and all kinds of other people who are rather popular at the moment.

Hiyori: It’ll be a solo competition, so the two of you will have to be rivals on it.

Aizo: For real?! So do I have to act like I have a score to settle with Yujiro?

Yujiro: Huh? Settle what score?

Yujiro: Though, the outcome will be obvious, even if we don’t do it.

Aizo: You’re talking about the fact that you’ll lose for sure, right?

Yujiro: More like, your loss. Give your stupidity a rest already.

Hiyori: Geez! I should be the one telling you guys to “Give it a rest”!

Hiyori: Manager Uchida told me to explain everything to you guys properly!

Hiyori: So pay close attention until I’m done!

Aizo: Yeah, yeah, I get it.

Yujiro: As you wish. Care to continue, Miss Apprentice?

Hiyori: Geez, did you really have to add that last part…?

Hiyori: …Anyway! As for what the special programme is going to be about…

Hiyori: It will be in the format of an elimination match. You will have to participate in various competitive events, and the lowest scoring participant of each event will be eliminated until there is just one remaining participant, who will be deemed the winner.

Hiyori: Said winner will receive the grand prize of some self-promotion time on the show!

Hiyori: Manager Uchida said that “We’ll be lucky regardless of which one of LIPxLIP wins, because we’ll get good publicity either way.” though…

Hiyori: There’s a chance that all kinds of people will be tuning in to the stream of the New Year’s programme, so do your best, you two!

Yujiro: …I’m obviously going to give it my all, though.

Aizo: What kinds of events will there be anyway?

Hiyori: Ah—... About that…

Hiyori: We won’t know till the programme begins.

Hiyori: It’ll be a special programme to celebrate the New Year, so the events may be related to New Year festivities, or they could even be stuff like simple sports.

Hiyori: There’s also the possibility that it could be a quiz, or maybe a card game tournament or something…

Aizo: So we won’t be able to plan for it, huh.

Yujiro: …Yeah.

Hiyori: But still! I really do think that you guys have a shot at victory!

Hiyori: Just don’t argue with each other over weird things on the stream, okay?! All you guys have to do is stay on the programme till the very end.

Hiyori: Cooperate with each other, all while appearing to be competing with each other, got it?!

Aizo: Yeah, yeaaah.

Yujiro: Understood—

Hiyori: …

Aizo: Huh? What’s with that reaction?

Hiyori: Nah… I just…

Hiyori: Have this feeling… of unease…

Aizo: Thanks for your hard work!

Director: Yup, you did well out there! I’ll be counting on you again in the future!

Having finished their shooting for a television programme, Aizo and Yujiro walked along the path towards the dressing room, alone with each other.

Aizo: …Hey, regarding that special programme…

Yujiro: What of it?

Aizo: Despite what Suzumi said about cooperation, I’m sorry, but I’m gonna go all out to defeat you.

Yujiro: That’s my line. Don’t do anything lame like getting eliminated in the very first event, okay?

Yujiro: Wait, scratch that, just try to stay until the final round. If you even can, that is.

Yujiro: We’ll face off against each other in the final round… Where I’ll be sure to show you the sheer differences in our abilities.

Aizo: Why you…!

Break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?

Renegade Dearil remembering his past and when the literal embodiment of his pure hatred gets destroyed. Which will happen once he faces Chad.

Paragon Dearil once he remembers his original path during renegade and the stuff they'd done.

Either way they'll probably start screaming and crying, probably start hyperventilating. It'll take a while for them to calm down.

Chad's seen renegade!Dearil break down and held them until they were calm again.

I'm not sure about Paragon!Dearil yet. I'm thinking that Clear and Kieran were the one to remind him what he's done so them. I'm assuming some of his friends are there too, not sure about their reactions yet though.

Desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Renegade!Dearil wants to get revenge and the world to burn, that's it. As I said his mind has been corrupted by hatred and bitterness.

They almost succeeded, but were stopped in the end by Chad.

Paragon!Dearil just wants his friends to be safe and forgivness. He most likely will never really get the forgiveness he's looking for though. His friends don't understand why he wants them to forgive him and they won't forgive themselves either.

At least not any time soon, although that last part is achievable.

Future: What's the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it's a possibility?

I'll only be talking about paragon!Dearil's future here.

The worst version for them is where his friends and the world perishes, with an even bigger fear of him being the reason.

They are VERY aware it can all go wrong and try to be as strong as possible to save everyone.

However there is only so much strenght can do to help people.

Ope and then I missed that you replied - but yeah!! Tales builds are so cool!! <3 I'm just, so excited now that Tales is officially back for its second season, so it's like! Karl has plans!! And stories in mind!! So whether or not Ranboo is involved or who the other time traveler is, they feel like questions we're actually going to get answers to? Which I hadn't even realised I was missing but I'm so psyched it's coming back. And especially since Karl has said he's gonna show what happens before he time travels, like, I'm so excited to see Karl on the SMP and then jump into a Tale. And being pretty much new to Kingdom Hearts, I'm glad that my kind of intro to it and its themes are just you and Karl being really into it as well svdgshs

And yeaaah, yeah, both the Overseers are so interesting - like, the shift from these huge mysterious structures/dimensions, now to people Karl can actually talk face-to-face with. And that's a fair point, that the Other Side wants Karl to fill it out so it can achieve what DreamXD made it for! I was going in thinking that the dimensions, like, specifically wanted Karl and his time travel abilities for some other purpose they weren't saying, but just in terms of doing what dXD wants them to, that would explain why they're just trying to make themselves look as beneficial as possible to Karl. Both dimensions seem so invested in preserving all the time travel stories in different ways, it really makes me wonder why, and how it's related to Karl forgetting as he time travels. Like, we already know he's forgetting so much of his original life, but has he forgotten any of his time travel trips? Is he losing all his memory, or just stuff not related to time traveling?

Hhh, yes, the Maze!! Like, I do really appreciate that Karl aims to keep the Tales to 1-2 hours. It helps keep the stories manageable and more simple and easy to rewatch. But at the same time, I would love to see them wandering the maps a little, like in a non-canon After the Tales or by releasing the downloads or something. But like!! All the parallels between just the Maze and the rest of the series, I'm so excited to see what else will be foreshadowed in future episodes? Like. The thematic consistency is so good.

But!!! I know!!! The Overseer of the Inbetween showing up and presenting itself in a still friendly light and saying it didn't cause the whole breakdown thing puts it in such an interesting context?? Like. Maybe DreamXD could've done it, if he was trying to push Karl to the Other Side, but then, why not just bring Karl to DreamXD World earlier if that's the case, right? The idea of the Other Side breaking down and doing the same thing is terrifying, too, like!! When the Inbetween got corrupted, the normally bright parts of it went dark, the clear skies went rainy, it started abjectly teleporting Karl around and gaslighting him. If the Other Side did it, like. The only thing I can imagine right now is trying to trap Karl in the different memory sections to keep him there longer? Maybe going so bright as to be blinding? And yeah, with the confirmation of a previous time traveler, it does seem likely that they were leaving the books for Karl in the Inbetween. Which also makes the bloody room under the tree much more terrifying in context?? And I'm really curious if we're going to see any hints of the other time traveler in the Other Side, or if they only ever got to the Inbetween before DreamXD got rid of them. There is!! So much to learn there!!

Gosh, Honk. Honk the beloved. <333 So much of Honk's motivation throughout season 1 was just, surviving, more or less? Trying to keep Karl's memory intact and dealing with what the Inbetween threw at them. And now, they both know a little more about what they're dealing with, and Karl has a bit more control over what happens because he can choose whether to go to the Inbetween or Other Side, but Honk still has so little he can directly affect, and ahhhhh. Hopefully many talks between the two of them to figure out exactly what they both want and need going forward. And with the reveal of the Overseers now, imagining them interacting directly with Honk? If the Inbetween Overseer was aware of Karl's lost memories going to Honk, or was the cause of it, like, imagine a confrontation between them and Honk? Also both of them trying to figure out what did make the Inbetween break down, because if I'm remembering correctly, that affected Honk, too. Or even either Overseer trying to use Honk to get Karl on their side more, which would just be even more ahhhhhh!

Also, unrelated, but I do love coming back to your blog after a while and seeing the Undercover Agents pinned post because then I get to relisten to more Enter Shikari and feel more Honk things <333

DEAR GOD THE TIMESTAMP. I KNEW THIS WAS SITTING IN MY INBOX FOR MONTHS BUT I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS NEARLY HALF A YEAR hi hello i've had a busy year so far so i haven't really been keeping up with mcyt but solar has successfully dragged me back into it SO, PREDICTABLY, I AM THINKING ABOUT SPAU

(i was gonna rewatch the inbetween segments before answering this but then i just wanted to Say Words Very Much so. [kirby and the forgotten land voice] AND HERE WE ARE!)

yeah s2 of tales has been just. so good. and then also its taking a billion months for the next one to drop so at least its not just me LKCFHGKG but ohhh my god it really feels like things are coming together. all of the mysteries laid out in s1 are finally getting brought to the forefront and we're getting SOME answers. which of course raises only more questions and fuels the fire!! it's so good!!

i think so far karl's like.. basically being used as storage. all of his memory of his life before he started traveling is getting overwritten with the tales, and now it's a matter of what he can do about it. choosing the Other Side might lead to him fully embracing that, making those added-on memories tangibly real, while the inbetween keeps promising to find a way for karl to get his original memories Back while still pressing about how vital it is for karl to continue writing it down. karl sees the other side as morally right, but if the inbetween's overseer is right that the presence in the inbetween wasn't part of the plan then like.. maybe the inbetween COULD be helpful after all? but then it's a matter of trust because, like, karl does not have Any reason to trust what the inbetween's overseer said. they could easily be lying out their ass like how the books in the inbetween were.

i want to see the other side get fucked up so bad. i want that to be what pushes karl to Take A Third Option, to start looking for the cracks, because he can't trust either of these places and he belongs on the smp with his friends and loved ones that dXD's taking away from him. it's just a matter if he can find a way out before it's too late, if it's not too late already.

(as a side note, solar is absolutely unhinged about mr. cycle and the endless loop of the maze and i have to agree. the maze was SO GOOD.)

HONK IS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE AND HE HATES IT SO MUCH LMAO like. karl has a choice in his destiny but honk kinda doesn't. he's being yanked around by entities just as much, if not moreso bc the inbetween presence is In His Brain, but also he's bound to karl on a level that cannot be broken. he's grasping for a way to help, to stabilize, but there's less and less he can do as time goes on-- and the more karl learns about himself, the more honk finds himself feeling lost and confused. what's his point? what's his purpose? what's he gonna do if karl chooses the other side and leaves him behind?

(not that karl would ever leave honk behind, but the fear's there anyway.)

and like.. yeah the inbetween overseer already has a pretty strong foothold through honk! but it's also something honk is actively fighting back against because he hates the situation karl's in, he hates the situation he's in, he doesn't want to be a tool or a weapon to keep karl in line but like, as much as the theme of s2 so far seems to be about Choices honk sure as hell doesn't have one. or at least thinks he doesn't. maybe that'll change, too.

Astor just sighed to himself as he walked down the castle’s long hallways.

The windows on this level of the castle spanned from the floor to ceiling, with natural sunlight dripping in through the gold trim. His eyes squinted at the light, and he let his hair fall closer to his face. I should get a hood one of these days.

His footsteps were mostly quiet and unnoticable, which unfortunately for him, led to a less than ideal collision with someone as he turned the corner.

The man ran straight into Astor, his papers scattering across the floor. He shook a fist at the prophet, angrily—he was some old soul with blond hair with bits of grey, and a weathered round face with a set of furious blue eyes. 

“Watch where you’re going, you clod!” Ligero yelled. “I have half a mind to report you for interfering with sensitive documents!”

Astor leaned down, picking up the papers—seemingly just full of various recorded tax benefits—and rolled his eyes, mumbling. “Yes...and we wouldn’t want you to stress yourself working on only half a brain…”

“What was that?”

“Mm...nothing…”

“You youths...I hate mumbling…” 

Astor fitted the papers into a neat stack before handing them back to Ligero, which he snatched up, flipping through them carefully. The prophet gave a shallow, shallow bow. 

“My deepest apologies...Lord Ligero.”  

Ligero suddenly stopped reading, raising an eyebrow and looking him up and down for a moment. “Do I...know you?”

He narrowed his eyes. “If the stars had aligned correctly, this would be our first and last meeting.”

The Lord wagged a finger at him as his eyes lit up. “Ahhh...you’re that crazy star seer. The one aways snuggled up in the queen’s shadow…”

“Gh…...I’m not—”

“Yeah…” Ligero rubbed his chin. “You’re that sickly twig that’s been whining about our deaths and such...always making a fuss since Elane died.” He chuckled to himself, while Astor scowled.

“Her Majesty’s...passing, puts the future of Hyrule on a path of certain doom. I believe I’ve made my predictions of past clear, that the princess will not awaken her power in—”

 “Ayap-yap-yap-yap-yap-yap…” Ligero opened and closed his hand like a mouth in mockery. “Listen boy, you won’t win any favours by spewing your miserable thoughts at every meeting.”

“Maybe I don’t desire your favour.”

“Well then who are you looking to please? Cause I’m afraid it’s a little late to cuck His Majesty any further.”

“Excuse me?” Astor took a step forward, but the Lord stood his ground with a smile, cocking his head to the side. 

“I mean, that’s the only reason some nobody like you is here in the first place, isn’t it? Royal connections? Lovely pity on a scrawny useless orph—”

“I’m here to do my job.”

“Aw, don’t live in denial, boy. I have an eye for this sort of thing. And I’m always partial to helping a lad in need…”

Astor was already turning to move past Ligero, but suddenly stopped. He smirked to himself in amusement. “Is that so…?”

“Oh sure. My own son I’ve raised to be the peak of perfection. Striking young man, dashing blond—like me—and skilled. Rising up the knight’s ranks faster than an octo balloon! That’s all me, all my parenting right th—”

“And which son is that?”

“My oldest, my…...one, son.” He glared at him with a frown. 

“Hmm…” Astor could barely hold back from snickering. “And what do you think of this oldest son then?”

“Oh, too much of his mother’s child, if you ask me. But much better than I in some regards, though of course, not all of them. Ohoho…”

“Yes…” Astor smiled to himself. “You’re a funny man, Ligero Hartell…”

Ligero finally stopped laughing to himself. “But you see, perfection like that isn’t born. It’s made and nurtured, you have to coax it out of them.” He poked Astor’s chest, and he flinched away in disgust. “Quit your mumbling, your babbling, your little grief stricken dreams, it’s all useless. No one cares for it.”

The Lord went to pat his head, like a puppy, but Astor dodged out of the movement with a verbal “nope” as he whipped behind him. Ligero just shrugged. “If you can’t churn yourself to be a better man, then you’ll have to settle for the next best thing. You want to be something more? Something of actual merit? Taken more seriously than some child that was dragged up these polished steps out of a late woman’s mercy?” He flicked his wrist, adjusting the cuff of his pristine white sleeve. “Stop chasing the dead. Don’t be blinded by replaceable things like compassion and the sort. Find a wealthy friend or something, get rich, get power.” 

Ligero turned to continue walking down the hall. “Besides, even if it is like you say—then all the more to ride the sayings of, ‘You only live once.’”

Astor glowered, watching Ligero walk away. He scoffed, and started to turn back towards his own destination, before the Lord called out once more—  

“And cut your hair or something! You’re no Rito, quit with the braids. It’ll get all greasy and frizzy...Trust me, I knew someone with hair like that, once.”

Astor’s expression softened just a bit—nearly undetectable—before immediately being replaced with a darker scowl.

He kept walking, his deep purple robes dancing just a finger-widths above the stone polished steps. He opened and closed his hand to himself, miming Ligero’s speaking.

“Always partial to helping a lad in need...gods, seems childhood memory has still captured him to perfection.” Astor came up on the wooden door, and walked inside. 

The ceiling was a stone dome, littered with old parchment maps, and Sheikah charts, along with chalk that outlined ancient constellations and designs. There was an old chalkboard—stolen, from the Sheikah department—with further sketches and notes, torn out pages from old journals and texts pinned to the board and walls. Even the window was covered by hanging gyrospheres and astrolabes, twirling in infinite suspension. Since they blocked the window’s hinges, they were probably the reason why the room smelled so musty.

Astor closed the door, and flopped down on an old velvet bench, staring at the ceiling in silence.

“BOO!”

“GAAaaAAAh!” Astor shot up, whipping his head at the dangerous intruder, only to find a giggling, blonde girl.

She was doing her best to muffle her laughter by holding her hands to her mouth. “Gotchu again, Mr. Astor!” 

He sighed. “What are you doing here?”

The princess shuffled towards his desk, hands already bored and ready to play with the nearest pointy object. “You took so long to get heeeeree….why was that old guy even talking to you?”

He fixed his hair behind his ears, not really paying attention. “Oh? You heard all that, then?”

“Yeaaah, the halls are—” she cupped her hands over her mouth, “—ECHOEY, Echoey, echoey...echoey….” Her voice grew fainter at each repetition. 

“Stop shouting in my study. You’ll attract the rats…”

“I like rats!” She ran back up to Astor, sitting on the other end of the bench. “They’re like dogs! But small!”

“They’re rodents. Think more possums and mice.”

“Like that old guy, right?” She played with a loose thread on her dress. “Last week you called him a gross...virgin? Vermin… Velvet…? I forgot the word—”

Astor suddenly scooped the young Zelda up under her arms, holding her out in front of him like she was a disease. “Don’t tell anyone I said that, alright? That’s our secret.”

“Put me doooooooown!!”

“No. Get out. I’m working.”

The princess struggled in his grip so much that by the time he reached the door with her, she was nearly upside down. He opened the door and she craned her neck up, pleading at him with an upside down frown.

“Pleeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase let me stay??? Dad never bothers to look for me here….and your room is so cool! Even mom hung out here a lot…” Astor physically flinched, and Zelda took that as an opportunity to let loose some puppy eyes. “Pweaaaaaaase????”

Astor was so ready, so ready to shake her off his arm and let her possibly break a bone tumbling down the steps. “Oh! It was an accident, Your Majesty. She was so busy talking and talking and bouncing off the walls she forgot how stairs worked! I tried to stop her but she used her superglue prank again! Oh what a shame!” It would have been so easy…

Instead, the prophet just sighed, turned around, and let her topple onto the room’s floor. She yelled a “Yay!” before scuttling towards the windowsill, adorned with sparkly objects. Astor made his way to his desk, muttering.

“You can stay for five minutes. But don’t touch anything.”

Zelda immediately started touching and spinning the gyrospheres around in her hand.

The princess pranced and sat and played and pondered around the room—five minutes, ten, fifteen, and twenty. Finally she hobbled up to Astor, her arms full of shiny orbs and trinkets. She peered at his desk.

“So whatcha working on?” Zelda asked, looking at the weird sketches. “You seeing the future and stuff?”

“Something like that,” he replied stiffly. Silence resumed in the room.

Zelda set down her arm full of collectables, before standing on her toes to catch a better glimpse. “So what’s gonna happen? What’s gonna happen in the future?”

The prophet rolled his eyes, still trying to focus on his work. “Oh, you know. Death, doom, destruction. You’ll fail to awaken your powers, everyone perishes...the usual sort.”

Zelda crossed her arms and sat on the ground with a huff. “You don’t know that.”

“I do know that.”

“Oh yeah? Well if you can see the future, then WHAT am I gonna do next? Betcha can’t tell!”

“You’re going to attempt a backflip.”

“I’m going to do a b—” Zelda had jumped up, her arms already in the air, before she let them drop and sputtered angrily. “H-Hey! How’d you know that?!”

“Because that’s what you always do to try and disprove me.” He nodded towards the broken chair beside the door, along with a broken shelf, and a broken footstool.

“Hmph!”

“But that’s not how telling the future works anyways.”

“Oh yeah, well how am I supposed to know if you never TELL ME!” She suddenly scrambled into Astor’s lap, trying to steal his papers. 

“H-Hey! Get off you insolent—”

“Tell me what your jooooooob issssss you never doooooooooo anything despite having the coolest room…” Zelda palmed her face on his papers, refusing to move.” 

Astor was just about pulling his hair out, before taking a deep breath. “If I tell you, will you get off me?”

“Maaaybe.”

“Ugh. You’re insufferable…” Astor leaned his head back, staring at the ceiling. 

“Well it’s like this. Every choice and possibility exists. Every universe and timeline with every outcome and conclusion you could imagine exists in the grand unknown. There’s a universe where you’re a boy, there’s a universe where you don’t exist, there’s a universe where you’re quiet and don’t bother me all the time—”

“Is there one where my mom’s alive?” Zelda leaned her head back and looked up at him.

He was silent for a moment, pondering his words. “...Yes. There is.” 

He finally raised an arm, gesturing to the decorated ceiling. “See now, predicting the future is all a matter of trying to identify exactly what kind of universe you’re in. You look to the stars—gifts from the spirits, who roam as a constant in all timelines. You look to dreams, and magic, and visions...your surroundings, the people...there’s a pattern and predictability that I can use to identify what universe we’re in, and how the future will play out.”

“So you think we’re in the one where the Calamity wins?” Zelda raised an eyebrow.

“From what I’ve seen, I’m almost certain. Yes.”

“That sucks.”

“It does...suck.”

Zelda jumped up and went back to playing with the gold and silver trinkets. “Why don’t we just go to a universe where we don’t lose?”

Astor turned back to his work. “Because that’s not possible.”

“Really? You sure?”

Astor stopped, pondering for just a moment, before shrugging and continuing to work. 

“Probably anyways. I imagine millions of people have tried before, millenia ago. And from the looks of things, nothing’s worked.”

Zelda fiddled with an Ancient Core.

Bucky Barnes x Reader

Word Count: 1,772 Notes: Prompt above was written for @the-ss-horniest-book-club I really hope I did this some justice. I kinda did change the plot about 3 times tehe. Thank you for reading!

“Okay Cap. I got the files. Bring me home!” you pant into your comms. It was Steve’s bright idea to send you back to the year 1938 for some important documents that were hidden away to give clues about future possible mass destructive weapons that Hydra might build in the later years. Steve and Bucky couldn’t join you just in case they happened to run into the younger version of themselves, the thought alone amused you but you here in Brooklyn alone trying your best to blend in with the crowds. “Y/n. We have a technical glitch. Tony is working on it right now so hang tight.” Great. And super great since it had just started to rain heavy. Puddles forming in the middle of the roads as the children laughed and jumped in them. 

There was an old jazz bar on the other side of the road. With a quick check of your watch, you didn’t think there was any harm in getting out of the horrible weather for awhile. You sprinted through the puddles, holding the case over your head to shield yourself from the rain because wet hair was just uncomfortable.

With a groan and a silent curse for Steve and Bucky who were home in the compound dry and warm right now, you pushed through the wooden doors and the old musky smell of the bar slapped you in the face. The jazz music was barely audible over the loud distinctive noise of chatter and a particular obnoxious laugh is what caught your attention. A brunette with her head thrown back, laughing at something the young gentleman had told her. The shorter hair from the back as he nursed his drink. He turned his head slightly to the right, you recognized the side profile almost immediately and of course the little ear crink on the top of his right ear. 

You moved forward to the empty barstool to avoid gaining any attention and secretly looked past the lady sitting next to you to watch him. He would have been around 21 years old and he still looked as handsome as the present day Bucky you knew so well. You harbored a deep crush on him, loved everything about him. He even had a very good sense of humor for an old man. But it was his kind heart you loved the most, he was special to you but he didn’t feel the same way. You understood he didn’t want or need a relationship; he didn’t want to be tied down since he has been for most of his life. He wanted his freedom and he made that very clear. It just didn’t stop you from feeling disappointed and rejected though. You thought about Bucky a lot. His laugh and oh his smile. You smiled just at the thought of his smile, you wondered what he would think if he was here right now, what would he say to his younger self? You could imagine it would be something encouraging like: You’re gonna be alright buddy. Whatever Hydra does to you, you’ll make it in the end because you’re strong and Steve will find you. You’ll be alright. Just don’t give up even in the darkest of days. 

“Excuse me ma'am? Would you mind if I sat here so I can sit next to my wife?” an older man asked as he pointed to the lady next to you with his hat. He had to shout a little louder over the noise and of course, this gained a little attention, even Bucky’s. You made direct eye contact with Bucky for a few seconds and watched that cute little twitch he did when he smirked that you loved so much. “Yes of course.” you smiled at the gentleman who was patiently waiting for the seat and slipped off the stool. You stood in the middle of the floor, patreons moving around you. 

You really just wanted to go home and hoped Steve would hurry up and bring you back. Bucky sat on the stool with his back to you but would look over his shoulder and smile. Your heart fluttering in your chest like a swarm of butterflies. 

“Ma’am?” a drunken younger guy slurred in your ear. You pulled away disgusted with the certainty that pig shit smelled nicer than his breath. “Can I help you?” you pulled a face, trying to distance yourself. “Yeaaah. You can help me…” he jabbed himself in the chest “... in more ways than one.” he grinned. “Well, I hate to-”

“Back off Romeo.” Bucky’s softer voice spoke in front of the two of you, his arms folded across his not-so-broad chest. But from here, you got a good look at the hair that ran down a line on his chest. “She’s not interested.” you couldn’t hold back the grin. Just knowing what present-day Bucky would have done to this guy. Even though Bucky didn’t want a relationship with you, it never stopped him from caring about you and protecting you. “Oh come on Bucky.” the drunk guy tried to reason but Bucky wasn’t listening. 

Instead, his soft hand grabbed your elbow and he led the way to his seat by the bar, allowing you to sit on his stool as he stood next to you. “Always so protective.” you smirked. His blue eyes were just as beautiful and full of life as they were now. His eyebrows furrowed but he still smiled, even if he didn’t understand the meaning behind your words. “Well, you’re welcome, doll.” Oh there it is. That one word that always makes you swoon all over the place. A small giggle slipped out from between your lips and an ever growing blush sweeping across your cheeks. “You like it when I call you doll?” Bucky asked in a flirty tone and you giggled more, dipping your head to hide your shyness, he joined in on your giggles and you loved this Bucky. But you wished it was the present-day Bucky saying these things to you. “You never lost your charm.” you said out loud, halting his giggle as he looked confused. “You’re so beautiful. I’ve never seen ya around here before, you new?” he asked with interest. “You could say that.” you smiled, his intense stare setting your skin alight. “Well my beautiful doll. How about I take you out to dinner sometime?” Bucky leaned one elbow on the bar and you pulled your lip back between your teeth.

“Y/N? Where are you? We’re ready to bring you home.” Steve’s voice invaded your ear and you jumped slightly. “Give me a few minutes Steve.” Bucky’s eyes narrowed as he wondered who you were talking to. “I’m Bucky.” he corrected with a chuckle. “I’ve gotta go but let’s do a raincheck on that dinner?” you don’t know why you did this to yourself, you wouldn’t be seeing this Bucky ever again. “I hope it will be soon.” he said with a small smile, tucking a strand of hair behind the ear that didn’t have the comms in. You slipped off the barstool and turned on your heels. With your arms opened you embraced Bucky in a hug before you left. “You’re the strongest man I know. I’m so proud of you.” you whispered in his ear, planting a very soft and gentle kiss to his cheek. Your eyes are glossy as you look back in his confused eyes. Taking one last look at him before you turn and leave him standing there unsure about what just happened. 

Later that night…

You couldn’t stop thinking about the Bucky you met in that bar today. How vulnerable and soft he was. His flirtatious charm never went away. You wished you could have spent the entire day with him, there was so much you wanted to ask him, to tell him that you couldn’t with the present-day Bucky. You found it emotional, Bucky was such a sweetheart and you understood he always was. You were angry at Hydra, how could they do this to someone so sweet. 

Tears ran freely down your cheeks as you gazed out of the large window from your bed. The sun had set an hour ago and it was just you with your thoughts and the flickering from the candle. “Hey doll.” your head whipped towards the figure standing by the door. His finger hovers over the light switch, your eyes squinting from the sudden intrusion of the light. “Hey Bucky.” you wiped your wet cheeks with the sleeve of your shirt and crossed your legs, your hands hanging limply in your lap. “Are you alright?” he asked as he took two long strides to cross the bedroom to your bed, making himself comfortable by propping himself up on his elbow. 

You looked at the details of his face and compared them to the 30s Bucky. The creases on his forehead was more noticeable as he spent most of his days frowning. The circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep he got because of his demons he was fighting during the nights. Bucky now had a beard that looked so soft to touch. “I’m fine.” you croaked. “Are you sure? Took you a really long time just to answer with two words.” he joked. More tears ran down your cheeks as you thought about everything he’s ever been through, mostly alone and scared. You knew he didn’t want sympathy but you just couldn’t help it, not after meeting a more confident version of himself. A version Hydra had taken from him.

You lunged forward wrapping your arms around his middle and nuzzled your face in the crook of his neck. Bucky’s own arms wrapped tightly around you, his hand up and down your back to comfort you. “What’s wrong doll?” he kissed your hairline as sobs wracked from your chest. “I don’t know.” your tears pooled onto his shirt. The tighter he held you, the harder you cried. “Hey come on sweetheart.” he shushed you, dipping his head so he could see your face. His fingers tucking the strand of hair behind your ear. “Why don’t you get dolled up and I take you out to dinner? Raincheck, remember?” he smirked. Your head snapped up as your eyes widened. “How did you…?” your mouth fell open. “I heard everything.” came his reply, his smile never faltering. “Now get in that shower and get ready. I’ll be back here in 15 minutes!”

Several hundred words of Half-Life Borrower!AU goodness

(Hi, this is Passportinspection!) Oooh goodness. I actually started writing this as an ask. I really thought what I had to say would fit into an ask. Since sending that anon about having 350 words of thoughts, I ended up getting distracted for a few hours, and then when I came back to this, I apparently had 400 more words to say. I just love rambling what-ifs about AUs. :’>

Hi Passportinspection!  Sorry it took so long to reply to this. I had more work than I thought yesterday. >__< I totally agree! Rambling about what-ifs is WAY more fun than actually writing a story. ;;>__> _

These are… not all A-list ideas, and I was very tempted to cut it down to the best bits, BUT I know that if someone said to me “I had 5 ideas for your au but only told you the 2 good ones” I would be extremely interested in hearing the 3 bad ones anyway, so… here it all is. This was written pretty stream-of-consciousness and then rearranged a bit to form my pinballing thoughts into something a little more linear, but, fair warning, it wasn’t edited much beyond that.

_ Ooo, I absolutely want to hear everything! All ideas, good and bad! Are you kidding? (Gets comfy) _

I keep thinking about the end of that “gordon takes borrower!barney with him through the events of HL1” scenario; Imagining gman’s speech at the end, I like the idea of him saying something like, “As for your.. /passenger/..” and both of their bloods running cold. I can’t decide if I’d rather barney actually go into stasis with gordon or not I think it could be an interesting/cute concept- the idea that gman/his employers figured barney was enough of a factor in gordon’s success that they thought it would be wise to keep them together for future “assignments.”

_ Bro I'll be honest, I hadn't gotten that far in the AU because I still haven't finished the game. My only reference for G-man is Mr. Coolatta. So I'll have to at least look the ending up on youtube before I'll be able to give my informed opinion.  But taking it as is?  That would be freaking terrifying. They've met some other scientists and security guards during their escape, but the HEV helmet was a perfect hiding place. None of them ever noticed that Gordon wasn't alone.  But somehow this reality bending creep knows, and it looks like he's not going to let Barney and Gordon just go home, which was basically what they were fighting for the whole time.  _

I’m also thinking about, like.. With Barney in Gordon’s helmet with him, Gordon must be able to feel him tense up and hear his breathing speed up whenever something particularly scary/dangerous happens, maybe even at times faintly feel the fluttering of his heart, and it strengthens his resolve to make it out of there bc it’s not just himself he’s saving. 🥺 Also Barney can provide running commentary, which perhaps soothes both of their nerves a little. Maybe he even helps with some puzzles. :> I also think it’s funny/convenient that that would work really well for an actual video game format. A friend that’s with you wherever you go that sees everything you see but can’t interact with the world but provides commentary and occasional helpful tips? That fits in nicely!

  _ Ha! Something I was thinking about was how Barney has spent his whole life living in the vents and such. He would probably be a perfect guide for Gordon. :3 As for Gordon feeling when Barney gets tense or scared and that fuling his drive to escape, that was ABSOLUTELY one of the reasons I wanted Barney in the helmet.  It would be uncomfortable, inconvenient, and down right dangerous sometimes. But you cannot deny the unique opportunities for deeper emotional exploration it would present. _

…But also, now that I think about it, maybe there are parts where the only way forward is for Barney to slip through a crack in a blockaded doorway and use a control panel that opens another door- that sort of thing. He gets to help with more than just talking sometimes! :> Oh, dang, imagine the part where gordon gets jumped and almost killed by the military. Poor Barney. D: Maybe a factor in Gordon escaping the trash compactor before it crushes him is Barney frantically trying to wake him up.

_ I was defo hyperfixating on what the whole beat down would be like from Barney's perspective a few days ago! Gordon would be at an extra disadvantage in the fight because he'd have to be careful not to accidentally bash Barney between his skull and the helmet while he's being smacked around.  Imagine Barney being tossed all over the small space, maybe ending up pinned when Gordon finally passes out. Noticing when a small stream of blood starts leaking from his friends mouth and soaking into his clothes. Gordon is completely helpless, and so is Barney as he hears the soldiers talking about what they're going to do with the body.  I just think that whole scene and the escape from the trash compactor would be so fun and exciting~ -

Also, unrelated, but I wonder how barney would wake up in city 17, if he did go into stasis with gordon. That is, since gordon is wearing a citizen outfit when he comes out of stasis, barney obviously can’t be in the helmet anymore. Maybe gman elects to move barney to a pocket somewhere instead lol. I’m imagining as soon as gordon is released from whatever effect gman had him under and he’s able to move again, he starts patting himself down looking for Barney (the same way one does when they forget which pocket their phone is in ), bc last he knew Barney was right up against his face and now he’s /not/, and that man SAID they’d be “hired” as a team so /where is he/ because Gordon needs to know he’s /okay/. As Barney is released from the same effect, he probably moves and makes himself apparent, so it’s only for like a second that Gordon is doing that.

_ Once again, I can't speak much to what would happen in a HL2 continuation of this story, but that sounds about right for an initial reaction scene.  Imagine Barney just coming out of it and being in some sort of... bag? being jostled around? He feels a giant hand pat over him from outside and he grunts in surprise. Then the hand rests against him and Barney realizes he's in a humans breast pocket, being held against someones chest as beside him a thundering heart slowly begins to calm. He figures this must be Gordon. He doesn't KNOW any other humans, and he can't imagine that man in the suit would be all that concerned about Barney's wellbeing.  _ 

Barney doesn’t know where they are/who else is out there at all ‘cause he can’t see from where he is, and Gordon can feel him shifting to lean out of the pocket and get a look, and he just puts a hand over the pocket, covering the opening in the process, and applies a gentle pressure for a couple moments, and Barney knows that means he needs to stay put because it’s not safe to come out yet. Thankfully Barney heard Gman talking to Gordon and addressing him by name, so he doesn’t have to worry about whose pocket he just woke up in. He would probably somewhat recognize Gordon’s gait/the feel of his hands at that point, too. As for how Gordon avoids boarding the train to Nova Prospekt without canon barney there to stop him, I have no idea.

  _ YEAAAH that is a good point. Barney is kind of vital for that role. Maybe we can slot a different character into his place. ^__^;; _

Oooh, going back a bit, maybe when the nihilanth is teleporting gordon around in the boss level, or from the very beginning when gordon jumps into the portal to Xen, they get teleported separately and end up in different places? (Ignoring for a moment the parts with portals in Black Mesa ^^;) That sure is an additional level of distress for the both of them during the Big Final Level(s). And then perhaps at the end, part of gman’s speech can be like, “As for your.. companion, you can rest assured he was recovered safe and sssound. After all, you two performed so well, together, it would be ideal to hire you as, a team.” Or whatever

He's a healer, or a doctor if you prefer, he usually help reapers with broken skeletons or soul problems, but he also help other beings.

Aki always carry a big bag, but it's just a bag to carry Aid kit for emergencies.

Oh, this fluffy thing is not a cape, is a scarf.

He's formal and calm in the most of time, and at first you can also call him "cold", but he's really not, when you know him better, he is very sweet and understandable.

And no, Aki is not shy at all, he just don't express himself very well.

Good with actions and words, but with feelings...not so well :')

But of course sometimes you can see him sad ou a bit angry with reapers, i mean-Sometimes they do dumb shit and end up all fucked up, who wouldn't be angry or worried?

Aki may look like a lonely type, but he's really not, he likes to talk, but i guess he got used to be lonely.

Like, yeah, Aki is not so lonely, he takes cares of Malyn and in work Mint visits him...well sometimes with a broken arm but who cares?(Aki probably-)

He enjoys karaoke, in job you can hear him sing very quietly.

Also plays violin, and he's REALLY good playing it!

Want a secret? Aki have a little hobby with...collections of mini bombs, it's not dangerous or anything, but just in case he hides it.

Is not a secret what happened with his face, is not a epic battle or anything, it was from a drunk who threw a whole bottle of vodka in a bar where Aki was passing by, that's why he hate bars.

Why he doesn't cover the crack in his face? Like, he do it all the time, but he thinks is unnecessary...and reminds him of not getting near of a bar ever again.

Funny thing, many reapers calls him "Doctor Fluffy" because of his scarf, or "Crazy (movie) doctor" for his pupils.

Ah-His pupils were a gift from Malyn.

Wants a strange fact? He can remember all reapers name, like...if you give him a paper and tell him to write all reapers name, with 3 or more hours he would end up actually writing all reapers names.

Mint

He's a reaper, not the best, but really talented with heavy weapons.

If you try to use his hammer for the first time, you will be surprised of how heavy it is, work out enough and you will be able to use it.

Even with a heavy weapon, he is actually very fast, but oh man...without his hammer you wouldn't even be able to see him.

He doesn't show many worries about others when he works with others reapers saying something like " What? Can't i trust them enough to do their job properly themselves?" and you can't tell if he's joking or talking serious.

Oh yeah, he doesn't talk too much, but he ask TOO MUCH, no one can remember when he didn't ask or talked normally, he just...ask.

Mint just talk properly with Aki or Malyn, like- Aki is his best friend(big brother lol) and Malyn is like a younger sister to him.

Many reapers find him annoying or creepy, but not just for asking too much and refusing to actually talk...

There's many times where he could tell when someone is lying, it's like he can fucking read your face or something, it's kinda scary.

He is very curious.

Poor memory.

He doesn't hide what he thinks or about himself, so many times you will laugh or getting angry at him.

Oh but theres one thing he refuses to talk about, his sister, he had a sister, but he just says that he forgot about her, and even if it's true- Mint doesn't want to remember her at all.

Also, Mint have 3 plants, he named them Noir, Violette and Rouge, yes, this bitch name his plants.

Future reaper? Maybe.

Malyn can be very energetic child or she can be very chill, but don't expect her to stop joking around.

Malyn lives with Aki.

Yeaaah...Aki and Malyn are not related at all, Aki doesn't refers her as his child, but you can say he adopted Malyn.

Malyn doesn't call Aki his father, more because she still remembers who are her parents, Aki promised that when she gets older, he will say what happened with them.

But hey! Those two spend most of their free time together(Sometimes with Mint too) playing video games, wacthing weird shit in tv, going outside or whatever.

Also, Malyn in the only one who can tell if Aki is happy even when he doesn't show it.

Little AU of mine: MC has a YouTube channel where she makes covers of songs. She sings songs she really likes and she’d even make her own songs. This time, she made a song called “Death Bed”. The lyrics are the same as Death Bed by Powfu. It made me emotional so I’m making this fic! The background of the song is MC is dying in the hospital because of Hera trying to take over her body from their season 3 and she’s singing to Alex and how she hopes they’ll be happy. Listen to the original song and yeah🥺. But in the beginning of this fic (and when it switches to Alex), shes already dead so just gotta say that So yEAH. Hope y’all like this and @megatraven hope you cry like I almost did listening to this song!

They opened their eyes to another lonely day. They were in their apartments bedroom, sun shining through the window. If it was a normal day, then they’d smile at it and turn to their side to see MC. Their beautiful fiancé. Someone they loved with all of their heart. But...life wasn’t normal anymore.

Their fiancé was dead and they missed her.

They turned to their side to only be met with more room on the bed. The body that used to take up that space was no longer there.

It hurt. Gods it hurt them. They loved her with all their heart, and to know they couldn’t save her...crushed them. They sometimes went to her apartment and stay there. They felt a little comforted to be surrounded by things that were hers, but their apartment was also hers. Almost everything they had was hers. But now...they were on their own again. Well, not completely on their own.

They had their mother, Hades, May, and Josh. They all comforted each other and Alex knew it would get better with time, but they still felt so much pain. They missed her and they wanted her back. They almost turned into their mother. However, they didn’t have any favors to trade in to Hades to see MC again. They gave all their favors to save MC...but it didn’t work.

They got up and changed into their tank top and some black shorts and went into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. As they watched the coffee be made, they grabbed their phone and went to YouTube to pull up a very familiar channel, with a very familiar voice. She made a song while she was in the hospital, and refused to show Alex until she was done with everything. It was a little surprising how she got everything to sound so good, but she was great at doing miracles to Alex. They pulled up their favorite song by that creator called “Death Bed,” and they listened as MCs voice filled the kitchen.

They sang the intro, “Dont stay awake for too long, don’t go to bed. I’ll make a cup of coffee for your head. It’ll get you up and going out of bed.”

At the mention of coffee, they pause the song to get their coffee. Everyday since she was gone, instead of making their coffee like they should, they made it like she would make it for them. Always a little too much of everything. Once they had it in a cup, they resumed the song, closed their eyes, and listened to MCs beautiful voice.

“Yeah, I don’t wanna fall asleep, I don’t wanna pass away.”

They remember holding onto her hand in the hospital, her trying to avoid everything about herself. She told them to go to work and to come back and tell her about everything. She didn’t want to die and it caused her to fear falling asleep. Alex would notice he dark rings under her eyes and they’d kiss her on her forehead, and try to help her fall asleep (they almost always did).

“I been thinking of our future, ‘cause I’ll never see those days.”

They knew she was thinking of how she couldn’t get married to Alex. She was always thinking of the future when they started dating, so the future was never far from her mind, especially when she was in the hospital...her life dwindling away. She wouldnt be able to have kids with them, she wouldn’t even be able to get married. They tried to keep hope, but they think secretly deep down they knew they wouldn’t see much longer with her by their side. It hurt...and from this song it hurt her too.

“I don’t know why this has happened, but I probably deserve it. I tried to do my best, but you know I’m not perfect.”

Everytime they saw MC in the hospital, they knew she blamed herself. She even told them that she blamed herself. She believed this was just karma coming back at her, but they still believe differently. They believe-no they know she was an innocent woman being killed because of the gods selfish desires. And they know she tried her hardest when she was in the hospital to get better, but nothing was working. No medication or time could heal what the goddess’s power was slowly deteriorating.

“I been praying for forgiveness, you’ve been praying for my health.”

Alex would sometimes hear MC mumble, “I’m sorry,” to them. She was apologizing because she knew she didn’t have much time with them. She knew she couldn’t be there for much longer, and she felt guilt. She prayed to them for forgiveness and hoped they’d forgive her when she’s gone. However, Alex always focused on her health. They remember doing anything she wanted them to do and doing anything for the gods to see if they could fix this. To see if they could save her...

“When I leave this Earth, hopin’ you’ll find someone else.”

As they listened to her sing those words, their heart shattered a bit more. They couldn’t love someone else. It was almost impossible. They loved her and gave their forever to her. Even if she was gone, they’d wait. They’d wait for their end or for her to somehow come back one day. They’d always wait for her.

“My life was kinda short, but I got so many blessings. Happy you were mine, it sucks that it’s all ending.”

MC always said she loved Alex, but to hear it in a song made them fall deeper in love with her. To hear her consider them a blessing, made their heart so happy but also hurt. They always wondered if she knew that she was a blessing to them. She was the most important thing to them, and hope she left knowing that.

“I’m happy that you’re here with me, Im sorry if I tear up.”

Alex remembers staying beside MC almost everyday. She was in the hospital for around 6 months, and they almost never left her side. Only to go take a shower, change clothes, or to eat. They just couldn’t leave her side. They wanted to be there if she needed something and they were happy that she was happy with them there.

“When me and you were younger, you would always make me cheer up. Taking goofy videos and walking through the park. You would jump into my arms every time you heard a bark.”

Alex smiled as she sang those lyrics. She remembered all the times they had together as kids, even in her final moments. They remembered cheering her up if she fell down, showing off their aura to cheer her up, taking funny videos together (sometimes Josh would join), and they remember an embarrassing moment. They were on the surface and they heard a dog bark...and they remember clinging onto her a little bit. They didn’t hate dogs, but they weren’t used to them, so it scared them a little bit. MC always held onto them back and told them it was okay. They were so happy she remembered happy times with them together.

“Soon you’ll be alone, sorry that you have to lose me.”

As she sang that part of the song, it hit deep. They both knew she was dying in the hospital and that there was nothing to do about it, but only one of them was denying it. Alex would keep hope that she’d be alive and could live their future out, but she accepted it and tried to do things she loved. She’d draw, she wrote this song, she talked to everyone she loved, and she comforted Alex the best she could. But she would always say sorry. It wasn’t that much of a surprise to hear a ‘sorry’ in here.

They then sang the outro, “Dont stay awake for too long, don’t go to bed. I’ll make a cup of coffee for your head. It’ll get you up and going out of bed.” And repeated it as long as the song did. Their voice mixed in with MCs voice and they felt tears slide down their cheeks.

They missed her so much, and this song was just a reminder of her life and how she loved them. Her memory and voice would live on for the rest of their life, and they picked up the phone, moved to the living room, layed on the couch, and closed their eyes as they listened to the song on repeat. Just like they did

Rune doesn’t really tease back, or at all, he’s pretty serious. And Straasa generally doesn’t tease Rune, more sincere and encouraging.

Morkai at Rune’s mostly. Rune dresses plainly, but also tends to hide in oversized clothes, so, they’re not super flattering.

I’d bet that Morkai crushed hard on Straasa when they were younger. Straasa crushed first on Rune though. From Rune meeting the others, though, it was all close together.

I saw some post like this and I thought that idea was so great I decided to do too for no reason apparently tbh but I know it kinda sucks to search for doramas when we don’t have any clue about them. Hope you guys like.

In this drama you’ll see the first sign of a youthful romance

This drama has introduced me to Kim Jisoo and I’m so glad about this oh my

Tae-o (Jisoo character) it’s a really cute guy, always joking around and annoying Song-i, his best friend since forever lol

They are really good friends (all of them) and for differents reasons they have to live at the same house, Tae-o’s house

It’s a good drama, I really liked the first season and already finished the second one :)

The actors and the whole atmosphere of the show it’s really a pleased thing tho

It was the first Korean drama that I’ve watched and u can watch at netflix what it’s awesome 

Something in The Rain / Pretty noona who buys me food

Also a k-drama from Netflix (we love that right so much easier)

I think this one it’s more mature if I can say so, cause they are not teenagers and we can see another type of drama here cause they are adults so marriage and stuffs like that are the point here

Also it’s a really good drama who shows it sexual harassment at working and abusive relationships, something that we should see for sure

Seo Joon-Hee (Jung Hae) melts my heart, the way he loves Soon Ye-jin it’s so pure, definitely i’ts something that it’s worth it to watch it

If I have to describe this one I would say that reminds me the vibe that Teen Wolf(??!) gives me, Ik it’s crazy but the fact that this show have action love comedy and some “magical” things going on definitely reminds me Teen Wolf but I like this one more srry

When the loyal secretary Kim decides to quit her job after 9 years, the extremely narcissist Vice-Chairman have to make sure that his perfect secretary will give up of leaving him, should he married her?..

This one surprised me, I dind’t think that I’ll do like this much

Have all we love in a k-drama so this is a yes yes

The best supporting cast to be honest this cast is one of my favorite, I was really interested about them like I wasn’t bored about their scenes any moment

My secret romance

6/10 for me tbh

It’s not my favorite but I enjoyed watching so it’s a good one if u don’t have anything to watch and like k-dramas

The best part for me in this drama is the “daddy scenes” that we have the pleasure to see Sung Hoon playing when he interact with this little kid on the show, trust me it’s worth it guys

The actress it’s so pretty, she really makes me want to cut my bangs again

It’s a soft romance tho

Its about this rich guy and this girl who have one night thing in the past and they meet again when she gets a job as nutritionist on his company, she was so embarassed with the one night thing that she pretend to not know him, the story start here

Kang-Yeon doo it’s a strong girl that will help her friends no matter what

talks about the pressure about the future and the effects of that in the teenagers, suicide, bullying, friendship, domestic violence also are questioned here

8/10 cause It hurts my heart how underrated Seo- Ha Joon( Jisoo) is when it comes to love  :C

One Spring Night

It’s another netflix one and it also has my baby Jung Hae-in here again and off course he is adorable as well

As the other one that Hae-in did it’s more mature, I really like this type of drama, I feel like it’s more real but whatever

Jung Hae-in it’s so good at making me feel like a silly passionate girl about the characters, again he makes us fall in love with Yoo Ji-ho so (he’s character) much that actuality hurts when this little puppy cries in the show

The little boy who plays Ji-ho son it’s so cute my lord

Domestic violence, bad relationships and how you only know a person when you broke up with them are what this drama brings up lol

The sisterhood here is a win-win situation for me, I mean I really like strong women who support each others like the sisters here do

Love this show so much guys

Have 2 seasons and yeaaah you can watch it at netflix uhul

It’s about a group of girls that live together, and how they have to accept the differences between them

Also talks about first love, finding our purpose in life, friendship (of course), self-love, abusive relationship…

The cast it’s really good, the girls are awsome, all them

In the s2 one of the girls had the actress changed, but to be hones just bothered in the firsts episodes (the firsts episodes are awful tbh but become better I promise you) cause the personality of the character changes too so u kinda like cause matches it u know

Park Eun-Bi it’s my favorite one for sure her whole character is iconic and unique

I’m sure I’ll go watch so much more dramas cause c’mom it’s so good, I truly love, so I hope that this help someone or something like that, all this dramas are so good u definitely should watch them!

ps: Sorry for almost just saying how the male actors are handsome and blah blah, my fan girl side is quite something, but they are also excellent actors. It wasn’t my intention focused only in the beauty but, I mean not just the guys are good, the girls are amazing actress too, and I don’t even need to say that they are pretty as well… - sorry if I did write something wrong, English isn’t my first language but I tried hard to put everything right so excuse me if there is some mistakes.

Leverage Season 1 Episode 1 Rewatch - My Thoughts

Honestly, this is SUCH a fantastic first episode to a series. It brings all your cast together, highlights their dynamics (which are on point!), core relationships, and archetypes, while also slightly breaking them.

➤ Elliot’s conversation(s) with Nate are the highlight of this episode for me. You’d expect a character defined as “the muscle” to be a cold, buff guy who likes to hit stuff. But Elliot? Elliot cares about other people, and he’s not afraid to tell them what he thinks and psychoanalyze them, like he does with Nate throughout the episode.

➤ Hardison stealing that phone? I mean, c’mon. Normally, tech guys are these socially awkward folk with no confidence or coordination who sit in the van and type and talk into a mic while the rest of the gang does Stuff. But Hardison is more than that - aside for having enough swagger and sass for eight people, he is also physically capable, and an important ACTIVE part of the scam.

➤ Parker. Parker, Parker, Parker. She’s my favorite of the bunch, and I love that her first characterization is “cray cray”. Because... yeah. But also... no. There is a reason her snippet of the past happens when she is a very very young child. And that breaks my heart but also makes me very conflicted because... without that, we won’t have our Parker. But boy, did our girl not have it easy.

Anyways, Parker is considered crazy, and is all over the place, but what she is really looking for... is a dad. I know, I know, hear me out. What does Parker respond to in this episode? It’s Nate, handing out orders, and telling her what to do. Parker needs this. She needs this voice of reason, this authority figure, who is not out to get her. She never got that--again, pointing to the snippet from her past. 

So, the way she is written in the pilot is so fantastic--she is a child. This is why she is one of the characters who has THE MOST growth throughout the season. Because she has it now--a dad (Nate) and a mother (Sophie) and a brother (Elliot) and her brother’s hot best friend (Hardison). Yeah, yeah, they’re not there yet, but if I make Hardison another brother it would get reaaaal gross in the future so spare me.

Anyway, my point is, they lay the groundwork for all of that right here.

➤ Sophie. Sophie gets the short straw in the pilot, because she comes in late and she is pretty much her quirk at this point (best actress in the world unless she is on a stage. In which case... “unsex me????”). BUT. What does it mean for a person like her to trust Nate so impeccably? For her to drop everything at his call? Especially when we know he shot her in the past. That is interesting. And that little smoking moment when he puts her earpiece on? yeaaah, okay. My body is ready for this ship.

➤ Nate. I feel like I wrote his name 1395203 times in this, because he really IS the heart of the show. He is us. The honest man, who went through a tragedy, and not is a slightly less law-abiding but not any less honest man (at least where it counts). He does what we all want to do - Robin Hood the heck out of this world. His vulnerability, combined with his genius, plus the conflicted nature of his character, make him extremely neaunced and intriguing. 

He is so easy to relate to and cheer on.

➤ The last scene? Still gives me chills. Nate is such a BAMF, he is like a Mafia boss sitting in his chair, flanked by his cronies. His speech, with the final word being “Leverage”? Genius
