Zambia: On the Market
Markets in Zambia seem to hold miracles. Sometimes I saw tables full of stuff and didn’t understand anything of what I saw.

Zambia: An adventurous tour through Kafue National Park
We had one of those adventures which are quite good for the memoirs, but less cool while you’re in it.

The great Mosi-oa-Tunya Waterfalls (Victoria Falls)
On our second day in Livingstone we visited the great falls. It is the largest waterfall in the world (not the highest). “Mosi-oa-Tunya” means “the smoke that thunders”. On good days 500 Mio liters of Zambesi water fall down 110 meters per minute.

Read more about it on amazon.

Entering a Time Machine: Parkhotel 1970 in Vielbrunn

The owners kept and cared for the original interior for a long time. even when it was then closed for more than 20 years. The granddaughter of the owners then saw the potential in it and reopened in 2010 with the original design. Even the vinyl disc on the…

Mum and the Dogs in Tiergarten Park in Berlin
Mum was visiting Berlin this summer and we had a nice walk through Tiergarten. We rested on the lawn for a while catching the sun and watched Pavlov and a funny Corgie playing.
