Sebastian would be the type to take a while to warm up to you.

At first, Sebastian didn't think too much of you. He had absolutely no clue why you would decide to move here of all places when you already lived in a place he dreamed to live in. He was a bit jealous, to be frank.

Surprisingly enough, you kept visiting and talking to him, despite his aloof behavior the first time you spoke. The more you'd chat, the more he'd understand your perspective and what drove you to leave the hubub of the city. He began to get to know you better, and you seemed to want to do the same in turn.

Sebastian started awaiting your visits with bated breath, and when you did arrive, he acted a lot less cold than he initially did. He started being more open, and the two of you even shared some of his geeky interests. Your hangout sessions became his favorite part of the day.

With you, he was open and friendly. There was nothing he wouldn't share.

He realized something. How open he was... It's wasn't the norm. A person only shows certain facets of themselves to another. That's the way he used to function, and everyone else seemed to tick the same way. Surely, other people must know other sides of you that he wasn't familiar with.

There were many things he wouldn't find out about you. The thought made him feel sick to his stomach like little else did.

Sebastian would be the type to eventually begin stalking you.

This way, he'd get to know you in a deeper way he ever could just by listening to information you'd offer him. He'd follow you around town, watching as you'd go shopping or talk to the villagers. Sometimes you'd even go drinking on fridays and play videogames on the arcade machines with Sam.

You seemed close to Sam.

Sebastian would be the type to cut anyone off without a second thought, anyone that isn't you.

As much of a loner as Sebastian already was, he gradually talked to Abigail less and less, and Sam... He stopped talking to him alltogether.

Sebastian would be the type to want to do awful things to someone he once called a close friend, all because of you.

He couldn't stand the sight of him anymore, which was a shame, because it seemed like the two of you spent more and more time together.

Sam obviously noticed his change of behavior, and so did you. Sam first tried talking to Sebastian about it, but a curt "I'm busy right now" and a dirty look from him made it clear that he wasn't quite as willing to talk.

When Sam saw Sebastian following you around town, he obviously went and told you about it. You seemed to react... A lot less scared than he expected you to?

"I'll talk to him about it. Don't worry." You told Sam, though he didn't think you talking to him would ease his worries any bit. He practically begged you to talk to tell the police, but you assured him you would take care of it. Sam eventually gave in, albeit reluctantly.

You visited Sebastian like you usually would, acting completely normal as if you never found out he had been stalking to you. If you didn't bring the topic up, then he would've never known that you knew, but you did exactly that.

You confronted him about it.

In such a calm and casual way, Sebastian thought he was dreaming or hallucinating.

You explained that you knew everything. You left out who told you and just said you caught on to it on your own, just to be safe.

You explained you had no problem with it. Sebastian didn't believe you at first. He was upset that you would lie to him.

But you assured him of your honesty. You truly didn't mind. Sebastian's eyes widened, now believing you.

He loved you before this an abnormal amount, but somehow, hearing this made him love you even more.

Sebastian would be the type to build a shrine to you.

He adored you. So much. He felt so grateful that you would accept even this... Intense side of him, so grateful that you treated him with so much love. So happy that you apparently liked him enough to ask him out.

Yes, despite him being head over heels for you, he was too shy to ask. Eventually he would, of course, but you made this so much easier for him.

And you, on the inside, didn't just tolerate his obsessive attention, but you were even pretty flattered about it. Not something you'd directly admit to him, of course.

Neighbors would urge you to not involve yourself with him, but you didn't listen.

Sebastian would be the type to only kill if he considered it necessary.

It wouldn't be out of guilt. Murder came with a lot of complications. Sebastian, being a calculated person that always thinks before he acts wouldn't give in to his violent urges. Except for when he had to, of course.

He just hoped there would be no need for it.

✸ ~ yandere!sebastian who leaves you in his walk-in closet that he asked robin to build him a few months before taking you :3

✸ ~ he uses the excuse that he records his piano samples for sam in there when anyone asks why he's buying and putting so much sound-canceling foam around the walls of it.

✸ ~ robin gets happy when she sees sebastian getting seconds of dinner to bring into his mini-fridge for later when in actuality, he's just feeding you with them.

✸ ~ there's not much hope for escape, since he leaves you tied up constantly, and if you need to use the restroom, he simply makes you wait til night and brings you himself! how kind.

✸ ~ but at least he plays games with you, mainly dnd. you two have your own campaign where he acts as both the DM and a player (so he can guide your two characters to get together,,, <3)

✸ ~ he makes sure you have a nice futon at least, and maybe once he trusts you won't run away and tattle, he'll let you go back home! with the catch that he's going to live with you. there's no way that he's letting you get to far from him afterall. ^^

Sebastian:

He most likely took some time to fall for you. He's a natural loner, with only a few friends in town. That isn't to say he is rude. He just has a bit of a shell you have to break through to get his attention, and as shallow as it sounds, your appearance can really help. He believes a person's clothing style or aesthetic can say a lot about themselves. If you have a very bombastic and out there style, he believes you have a higher chance of getting along with him. You would seem to be more open about who you are, which is something he likes in people.

Once you catch his attention, you have it completely. He slowly feels himself falling in love with you. From the strange little quirks you have, shared interests with him, differing interests... You teach him so many things about the city, random fandoms you find online, aesthetics, whatever your interests are. The love he feels slowly turns to an obsession. So slowly, in fact, that he doesn't realize that it has become unhealthy. He thinks that it is still as normal and wholesome as it was when it began.

You will barely notice him following you around, taking photos, and leaving presents for you on your doorstep. Pelican Town is a relatively small area compared to the city. You simply think it makes sense that you would keep meeting with him. For the pictures, you just think he is trying to take pictures of the scenery, trying out a new hobbie. You don't ever see him leaving the gifts, though, and they make you a bit uncomfortable. You never told anybody about the interests contained in those gifts. Be it a cookbook, new album from your favorite band, or maybe a new sword for fighting, you know for sure you never let people know you were interested in that. You find those interests too embarrassing to share.

The next thing you know, your friends seem to avoid you. Harvey makes his check ups quicker. Pierre gives you large discounts on every item. Even Gus keeps each conversation short, to the point, and lets you know about this brand new discount for you and only you! You don't know what is going on, but at least Sebastian has stayed by your side through everything...

Shane:

You were a pest, at first. He just wanted to be left alone. At least, that's what he always told himself. He doesn't know when his views on you changed, but it did. Maybe it was because you stuck by him, even when he was actively trying to drive you away? Maybe it was how you treated him so kindly, despite his rude behavior towards you? Maybe he just always secretly wanted someone to keep pushing him to be better...

His obsession truly begins once you see him in Cindersnap Forest, lying by the cliff and ready to let himself fall. He doesn't remember much about what actually happened when he woke up in Harvey's clinic, but Harvey gave him the rundown. You were worried, you helped him get to the hospital, you stayed for a bit to make sure he was fine. The next day, when he went to tell you he was going to counseling, you gave him encouragement. You mentioned how concerned you were that night, told him how you were so happy he was still here, and even gave a few small tips you heard on how to distract yourself when you have the urge to relapse. You believed in him, even when he gave up on himself. You don't treat him like a burden, instead trying to help him become the best version of himself he can be. He loves you for that.

Although he is an atheist, that doesn't mean he can't worship you, in his own way. He may not believe in angels, but he feels like you are the closest the world will get to one. After that night, he makes sure to go out of his way to speak to you. Even while working at Joja Mart, he will begin to talk to you as he stocks the shelves, cleans the floors, and does whatever he needs. He constantly visits your farm with gifts, asking if he could come inside and hang out. He says things like "Talking to you helps me distract myself when I feel the urge to drink. You gave me that tip, right? I found it useful." or "I just feel a bit lonely today. I feel most comfortable talking to you, so I was wondering if I could visit your place? You've already seen mine." Really, though, he just couldn't get you out of his head.

He is... slightly aware that these feelings aren't normal. He goes to counseling, after all. He has mentioned you and how he feels towards you, only for his counselor to reply with concern at how strong those feeling were and how they seemed obsessive. He throws those concerns to the side, however, and goes about his days like it is normal. You are his anchor. His light. His will to live, really. He needs you to be happy with him in order for himself to be happy. He can't have anybody else take you away, or else he'd have nothing! He would never use these feelings against you, however. Far from it. He wants you to not feel pressured to be with him. That wouldn't be right. You never pressured him to get better, so why would he pressure you in any way? You encouraged him, gave him tips, and showed your support for him. As such, he'd do the same for you, hoping you would feel just as strongly about him as he does you.

Anybody who gets in the way, however, could rot for all he cares. It wouldn't hurt to get rid of a few of them, right?

this is based on my own experience with my dear sammy. after trying to find cute sam art and finding a lot of sam/sebastian everytime he'd go to the saloon on friday id get sad. until i modded him to be a yandere and then everything was fine! so anyway. might add another part to this later.

"You were out late again."

"Ah- Sorry I got caught up talking to Seb, almost beat him tonight!"

"...So you were with him?"

"Yeah? You know I was! We always hang out at the saloon with Abby."

Fingers rap against the handcrafted dining room table. Like tiny drums daring to disturb the still silence of the night. Something not even the usually loud animals would do.

"Are you... angry..?" Sam's voice is tepid, it reminds you of a child scared to be scolded. It's something you love about him, this hopeful innocence as if bad things couldn't really exist in this world.

Infuriating.

He spends all night out with that man and expects you not to be a little annoyed? When you get out of the mines at 9 and come home eagerly only to find him gone? After everything you did and you were so eager to see him at home?

"I don't like getting home before you."

"I-I know but it's just one night..?"

You can feel the anger in your chest rising. Sebastian fills your head like a ghost, haunting your thoughts and choking out your words. The image seductively places his hands on Sam's hips, a cigarette lazily held limp between his painted lips. Sam has one awkwardly held between his own as well. Sebastian begins to move the two bodys to the rhythm of a painfully slow song, his mouth moving closer to Sam's, the butts of the cigarettes kissing in a hazy blur of smoke, alcohol, and lust. Sickening. You want to throw up. Your chest hurts.

"Y/N?? Are you ok? You look sick. You should lie down-" As he moves closer to your frozen form the smell of cigarettes fills your nostrils knocking out of your daze.

You look up at him with wide eyes, your pupils so small and dilated you look unhinged. Fear sets into Sam when you grab his arm with too much strength that he knows you could break his arm if you tried. Your head tilts to the side as you look into his emerald eyes.

"Y/N... you're scaring me-"

"Why... Why do you... smell like him...?" Your words are slow, laboured, as if it's taking everything in you to spit them out. You don't want the answer. Everything aches.

"Like who??"

"Sebastian." You spit at him the name tastes like venom in your mouth. He's the poison seeping into your marriage.

"I-I? I had a cigarette with him. I don't see-"

Sam can't finish his sentence before he's violently pinned to the table. Your strength from working tirelessly is no match for his soft skin. He bruises so easily under you, like always.

"I won't let him have you. I won't... He can't..."

"Wh-whoa hold on... H-hey y/n l-lets talk about this! Y-your'e hurting me."

You can't hear him properly, it feels like he's talking through an ocean. All you can think about is the sickening smell of cigarettes, Sebastian, the time Jodi told you that she always expected her son to end up with Sebastian, their closeness, that stupid whore.

Sam continues to whimper and plea on deaf ears as you hold him down. Your mind is racing a mile a minute as you boil with anger at Sebastian and you desperately try to come up with a way to keep Sam safe from him. Everytime your brain attempts a cohesive thought about the current position you're in with your husband more doubt and fear swallows your mind.

"Y/n... please...." Sam's voice is so soft, so gentle. Has he talked to Sebastian with this voice? Is he begging you to let him run back to that horrible man?

"Won't... let you go... Can't." Your breathing is laboured as you lean closer to him. "Even if you hate me. Even if you loathe me. Even if you love him-"

"I don't love him!" It doesn't reach you.

"I won't let you go Sammy. My Sammy. Have to protect you. You have to stay inside." That was the answer wasn't it? Never let Sam leave. You were a genius! You dragged him by his aching wrist over to the basement door. Tomorrow you'd go to Clint's and have some chains made, tonight it was enough to throw him in the basement and lock the door.

That's how Sam's new life began.
