I've been wanting to try and draw portraits for my farmers with pixel art, but I wanted to first get a hang of how to draw directly on aseprite, in this big of a size, so I did a test Elliott!

This was a fun test and also gave me a good idea of how I can do the next portraits. It was also an opportunity to attempt some dithering, as I've been watching a lot of pixel art videos in the past few days

Original size also (296 x 296, which doesnt translate that accurately to the original 64 x 64 the portraits have, but its not that bad, its still mostly proportional)

I will always stand by the fact that Elliott is the PERFECT malewife.

Look at the way the little Victorian child sleeps. He is PREPPING for the next day. He's making me coffee, he's making sure the house isn't full of flies during the summer. He always lets me know that he's getting the farm ready for winter.

HE IS IN IT WITH HIS WHOLE HEART.
