The definition of yandere is literally “A character who has a obsessive and possessive side in regards to their crush, ready to use violent and murderous means to maintain an exclusive bond.” So I would click away now if this could be triggering.

When Orochimaru had first found you, he immediately took a liking to you and he ripped you away from your family.

He was kind to you though, allowing your family to live as long as you did as he said and stayed with him.

This led to the threats to your family from him, warning that if they didn’t stay away and sent anyone to rescue you, he’d kill you so that no one could have you.

Which of course, he wouldn’t actually. He’d just kill your whole family and be done with it.

It was too much to have to deal with and he was growing bored of their weak attempts to rescue you, finding it quite amusing how you’d cry out for them.

He’d only remind you that you only needed him. No one else would love you or take care of you or even protect you the way that he could.

Once, you made a run for it… It was during the chunin exams in the Hidden Leaf Village. He’d left you unattended, having trusted you enough that his threats were more than enough to keep you in line.

Kabuto was the one to find you sneaking through the village. You hadn’t met him before and had no idea who he was, Orochimaru never let any of his henchmen near you, yet… He knew all too well who you were and knew just what would happen if he let you get away.

He kindly offers you help, noting that you look afraid and plays up the part that he’d just dropped from the exams after being too exhausted.

You thought you could trust him.

But as he leads you up to a familiar looking man from the sound village, you realize your mistake.

Orochimaru’s eyes flash and his stare grows cold.

“I told you what would happen if you disobeyed me!”

You’re dragged back to where he’d been keeping you, throwing you roughly in a room and locking you in with nothing but a dirty mattress in the corner.

He doesn’t return for days, focusing on his goal of luring Sasuke Uchiha into his clutches.

When he does return to you, you’re starving, dehydrated, and weak, and he has a sickening smirk on his face, blood dripping from his hands.

“I told you what would happen if you tried to leave me. You know only I can love you this way. I’m the only one able to protect you… Why would you betray me like this? You know what I have to do. I don’t want to but I need to make sure that you understand… You. Can’t. Leave. I’ll let you have a little water, my dear.”

He runs a blood covered hand over your cheek.

It’s still warm.

“Your poor… poor mother. Your father will be next. Think about what you’ve done and when you’ve learned your lesson, maybe I’ll let you eat.”

He’d force a kiss on you before leaving you in the dark once again with the knowledge that he’d take your mother first, making good on his threat as her blood dries on your face.

He’d make you love him one way or another, and that includes being the last person you have left in this world.

It’s a known fact Sasuke Uchiha hates when change happens around him,he couldn’t care less if he himself causes the change but if someone he knows and is close with changes god he hates it.

Y/N has always been a big part of sasuke’s life,when his whole clan had been killed and destroyed he confided in Y/N,Y/N was just a loving kind soul sasuke couldn’t lose so when he left the village he essentially kidnapped her and took her to orochimaru’s hideout but her attitude didn’t change until after Y/N’s 16 birthday.

Y/N became cold and distant towards karin,suigetsu,jogo but what sasuke wasn’t expecting was Y/N being cold to him.

“Sasuke your precious doll is being rude to everyone I think you should put her in her place no?” Suigetsu spoke annoyed with Y/N’s new attitude.

“Shut up. You have no right to talk about her like that. I’ll do what I think is right.” Gosh did suigetsu hit a nerve? But either way sasuke knew suigetsu was right.

So that same day during the night sasuke went up to Y/N’s room he didn’t care to knock he just walked in and what he saw was his darling on the balcony looking up at the stars.

“Y/n.” Sasuke’s cold voice sent shivers down her spine.

“What do you want?” Y/N looked back at sasuke her eyes showing no care for him.

“You’ve changed. What’s wrong?” Sasuke asked his voice had the tiniest drop of sympathy as he walked over to his darling and sat behind her.

“Leave me alone.” Sasuke didn’t like her attitude but he let it slide for now.

“Doll,don’t tell me you’re still thinking about that pathetic village?” Had sasuke just seen right through his darling? Of course he did! He knows his doll better than anyone else and her silence spoke more than a thousand words.

“You don’t need that village,you only need me.” Sasuke took his darlings hand, twisted her around and pulled his darling onto his lap.

🍙 Rooms are placed as followed: Yours and Sasukes' the furthest down the h all for privacy. Then Karins' a but away from yours, her closeness isn't ideal but he fears that if you (unless you're bisexual) Therefore, Suigetsu and Jugo share a room a great distance from your own as there's no need to be any closer.

🍙 Bathroom schedules are strict but necessary in Sasuke's mind. Only when he is present can they stray from it if they choose. Sasuke had morals, shockingly, and he doesn't let his childish needs deviate him from their tasks for the day. He's not all that bad as long as you're by his side.

“[Name] can you pass me the shampoo? Jugo won't get out of my way.” Suigestu cried out.

You watched him with a deadpan expression, still cradling a very exhausted Sasuke in your arms. Even if you wanted to there was no way you could help him in a situation like this.

“Hah? Just move him out of the way—!”

“Shut up.”

🍙 As stated, whoever proves themself capable of watching you will be by your side when he cannot. You are to stay within the walls of your tiny cabin which you all shared, guarded closely by your "friends" (not Karin she's even an option).

🍙 Despite being utterly infatuated with you, Sasuke does not lack common sense. He's more than aware that the average person wouldn't dare go against him if they didn't want to face the consequences. Not only that but he does have quite a bit of trust for Suigestu and Jugo and expects them to treat you properly in his absence.

🍙 To ensure that his expectations are met, expect a thorough examination upon his return. The Uchiha will strip you bare, slowly tracing his fingers along the smooth skin that covered you. His scent is still strong on your being, luckily, and so are his bruises (hickeys). For a man so rough, this time he was not. Carefully inspecting you as though you were a fine piece of cloth, picked and sewn to perfection. And in his eyes, you were.

🍙 Rule #1: “Looking you dead in the eye for more than a minute is strictly forbidden.” Your eyes, dare he say, are one of his favorite things about you. No matter how hard you try to conceal your emotions, your eyes are always so honest. However, he's not one to let others share such experiences with him. This is Sasuke, he's a possessive man!

🍙 Rule #2 “Disrespect or harm to [Name] will not be tolerated.” If not for Jugo, Karin would have violated this rule a long time ago, in front of Sasuke at that. She hardly liked you most days and she made sure to show you. Perhaps it was just his conscious but he couldn't bare to hear the pained screams of Karin as he knew her punishment wouldn't be a mere slap on the wrist.

🍙 Rule #3: “Any extreme intimacy results in death.” Things like hugs and hast pats on the heads were scarce for you as they would happen when Sasuke was out. Even so, you were often by Sasuke's side, joining him on his Endeavors set by Orochimaru himself. It pained you as you barely got any intimacy from your partner himself. You craved it more and more as the days went on. But if intercourse with anyone but himself crosses your mind, kiss them goodbye!

🍙 These are a merely few of the excessive rules he's set in place, the major ones at least. After some time these became second nature. Nonetheless, those are practically the only rules they roughly follow. You live together for fucks sake so there's no reason to act like strangers. Unless they happened to piss Sasuke off.

And most importantly he didn’t want to. No he wanted you close, very close to him. If he could he would always keep you at an arm's reach

But well at first he doesn’t want you to get scared and leave him ( please if this was a yandere hc he would have chained you to some wall waiting for you to come back to your senses… but unfortunately it’s not 😂 )

But he knows he can trust you so if you wanna leave his cave for the day he is fine with it - tries to be fine with it

His possessiveness shows back when you return for your strolls

When you walk near his sitting form, he can’t help but grip your hips and pull you on his lap. Now with his arms securely wrapped around your waist he knows nothing can happen to you

He isn’t really fond of your spending times with the TAKA team

He fears that Jûgo is going to lose control and hurt you

He thinks Karin will have a bad influence on you - yes even if you are older than the red headed girl

He doesn’t like how Suigetsu speaks and playfully flirts with you sometimes - but believe me if you were to say yes Suigetsu wouldn’t be that playful anymore 😏

And first and foremost, he HATES with passion how you managed to build a bond of mutual trust with Sasuke

Someday you come home bloodied. You fell into an ambush and sliced your arm open slightly. Not enough to be serious, but enough to drip blood

When he saw your bloodied arm and listened to your explanation. You swear you’ve never seen him make such a face before

He looked really angry at first. He was surely losing it and this close to get out and got slaughter anyone who dared to harm you

Though on the other side, the more he looked at your injured arm and the blood dripping from it, the more a hungry and animalistic gaze was appearing on his face

“Come closer my Dear. Let me check it out for you” he said in a smooth voice

He delicately took your arm and scanned it cautiously. The red seemed to match perfectly with your skin tone

Then he brought it near his face and breathed in the scent of your blood. He couldn’t help but hum at the smell as if approving it

So accordingly to his words he helped you to patch your arm, after of course licking off all the blood that spread on your arm

But it seemed he didn’t have enough yet. The blood seemingly stirring a flame inside him. He wanted to have you now. He needed to have you

At a certain point, someone tries to harm the yandere character and s/o is not happy to hear about it, going to get satisfaction from such a person, because regardless of being your rival, s/o will not accept such behavior. The yandere character finds out about this, what would his reaction be?

Sasuke Uchiha

💙​ Sasuke has troubles dealing with his obsession as it overwhelms him a bit and unable to express it any other way, he winds up being quite rude towards you. Sasuke has come to respect you though since you're next to Orochimaru one of the few people who can keep up with him looking on how you yourself are a favorite of this man. Of course he has to acknowledge your skills but your competitive and cocky strike is a small problem for him. You're too untamable and as the possessive and more controlling guy he is, that is a problem. Sasuke wants to establish at least a bit dominance so you at least know better than to leave and abandon him yet you refuse to do so. So instead of talking he tries to show his dominance in his skills and during training which always ends up being a bit more violent than necessary since both of you don't hold back. He forces you to tag along with him so he can keep an eye on you and when you piss him off he might lowly threaten you, Sharingan activated.

💙​He's a traitor so many people seek out to hurt him though he is confident in his skills. Sasuke doesn't necessarily wants his darling to find out though, he might be a tiny bit embarrassed that someone got that close to him in the first place. Without a doubt he feels a bit insulted when you suddenly start being mad and swear that you'll hunt that person down to teach him a lesson. It sounds a little bit like you doubt his abilities which the prideful man can't have. At the same time though he feels a bit flustered since it also means that you are worried about him. He would never admit it but he sometimes wishes for you to show him that you care about him instead of constantly trying to outdo him. He's a bit smug the next time he approaches you since it's rare for you to be so protective over him, he'll probably hold it against you for a while. Don't misunderstand though, he's more than capable to kill the person on his own. He'll be glad to have you tag along though.

Katsuki Bakugou

💥​He genuinely wishes that you two could just get along but your arrogant and provoking behavior coupled with his competitive side and short temper is only pouring gasoline into the fire. Maybe the fact that he is so cocky and boasts about his Quirk and strength just annoys you so he becomes the target of you. You're plenty strong yourself so that catches Katsuki's attention quickly and he's just as eager as you are to outdo the other one. Initially annoyed and pissed that he can't beat you, he learns with time that there are many people who are better than him and it's humiliating and also weirdly humbling. It helps him to appreciate this rivalry though since it's a chance for both of you to learn. Katsuki is lucid about his growing obsession but tries not to act rashly, becomes more worried when he hurts you. It's sometimes difficult though and he feels terrible when he yells at you. At the same time he almost feels a bit insecure, especially after realizing that he isn't the only talented person.

💥​He gets himself in all sort of troubles, especially with his temper. He has his pride though so he's embarrassed when word gets out to you that he's been attacked by someone though only sustaining minor injuries. Katsuki would prefer to remain as a strong guy in your eyes, he has troubles showing you that he's sometimes more weak himself. Initially when you come to visit him, he doesn't want to see you out of a lingering feeling of humiliation. What are you thinking of him now? Your reaction shocks him though. You scold him sternly for being such an idiot before proclaiming angrily that you'll beat the living shit out of whoever tried to harm him since such behavior is unacceptable. Before you can storm out of the door, he stops you though by grabbing your wrist. He didn't expect this and is majorly flustered by your clear worries about him, doesn't even realize what he's doing. When he does, he instantly lets go though and turns around to hide his pink blush. Moron, you don't have to go after them!

Ayato Sakamaki

🥇​Ayato thinks of himself as the best so knowing that you try to pick a fight with him is as insulting as it is laughable. Honestly you stupid thing, what are you thinking? You angered him though so he plans to properly destroy you and let you become the dirt under his shoes. Problem is that you don't back down even after he has given you a humiliating loss, instead you remain stubborn and continue challenging him and you're smart enough to choose areas that he isn't as good in. His strongest side is sport so you tiptoe around it though you still train to become better. Ayato is just so mean and rude, you want to push him down from his high horse. The lack of humilation irritates Ayato and your refusal to give up even more. He could easily kill you but he decides against it. No, he wants to completely destroy you at first, see you on your knees as you admit that he's the best. His obsession to beat you turns into something else over time as he turns worringly much possessive.

🥇​Ayato is a vampire so him being attacked might have to do with it so he can't let you find out. You're only human, you don't know of his true identity yet. One of his brothers might have blown his cover a bit though since they know how he feels about you. The boy is mad when you express your worry for him, hisses if you think he's as weak and pathetic as you are even if he is deep down slightly flattered to know that you care. He wants to be worshipped a bit due to his ego so it's good to express your worries since it helps to awake the impression that you admire him at least a bit. If Ayato notices that you pay more attention to him and make a bit of a fuss about him, he will probably use the situation to his advantage to have you stick with him more often. Do him a few favors, bring him Takoyami and he'll quickly get over his aggressive attitude and be a bit nicer to you. He can't have you avenge him though since the person who attacked him might not even have been human. He'll torture them himself.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke

⬛​The situation is complicated with you being part of the Port Mafia with a powerful gift yourself. Akutagawa is a dominant an possessive Yandere so the lack of control he has over you is angering. Your cheeky and teasing behavior even more, others might as well think of you as suicidal with the way you provoke him. Truth is that Akutagawa himself starts feeling like he isn't acknowledged just like with Dazai and it makes him mad since he starts feeling slightly insecure, starts feeling weak. For that he snaps all too easily as soon as you start your teasing, chances are that he even uses Rashomon out of impulse. He despises the small and painful clench in his heart since he admits deep down that you're very talented yourself. There is this fear to be abandoned again if you don't see him as worthy and this paranoia fuels his aggressive behavior. If you two get in a fight he is violent for the sake of showing you that he is stronger. Fear him, love him but don't leave him because you don't acknowledge him.

⬛​Refuses to ever be weak in front of you so he probably threatens to keep it a secret as soon as he couldn't kill the one who attacked him. He fears that you'll look down on him. Obviously you'll hear from it since he is quite the known figure in the mafia and decide to not see him. That's fine if he wouldn't know but when Akutagawa gets to know that you are aware of it but didn't even come to check on him with his injuries, he feels on edge. On the one hand he doesn't want you to come since he doesn't want to be seen as weak but with you not coming he feels like you just don't even care about him at all. The boy doesn't even know what he wants and he probably plans on being overly rude if you do come but he is silenced when he gets to know that you plan to get revenge for him. There is a genuine confused and shocked look on his face before it turns into a scowl. He doesn't need your help, he has to kill them himself. He feels a bit better to know that you care but doesn't want to acknowledge it.

Akabane Karma

🔴​Karma is most of the time a bit bored so having his darling constantly picking fights with him provides more entertainment. He really likes them a lot so if he can have their attention by just provoking them and being their rival, this is for now enough as Karma feels quite playful when with you. He might turn a bit sadistic if you really hold your nose high in order to teach you a lesson and humiliate him a bit. If you're a more respectful individual who respects him though, he'll do the same. There is no denial that sometimes he just likes teasing you to see you turning mad a bit, you're so adorable when you get mad at him after all. Keeping up with his intelligence is already something quite admirable so Karma at least doesn't look down on you, admits that you're quite formidable. The red-haired male is possesive though and pushes everyone away from you who might have an interest. He enjoys the world where only the two of you exist and won't let some other dumb shit interfere.

🔴​He can't help but pick fights from time to time, you know? Especially if someone plays the high and mighty. You are aware of his mischievous and troublesome attitude yet can't help but be worried when you here about it. Karma plays it off like it was nothing though, completely relaxed even if he should have sustained some damage in the process. Karma is cunning though so when he realizes that you are concerned about him, he ends up using that fact against you. Of course he isn't against guilt-tripping you if it means that you spend more time with him, even if it is spend with him just teasing you and you being mad again. He'd be happy if you just end up being nice and gentle with him though even if he can't stop being playful with you for the life of him. He won't let you be involved in any sort of danger though when he hears your plans. You shouldn't end up getting in troubles because of him since Karma still wants you safe. So do him the favor and stay away or he might have to use some force.

Hashibara Inosuke

🐗Inosuke is a confirmed hothead so he takes on the challenges his darling throws at him daily. It’s quite the friendly rivalry the both of you have though since it’s already quite obvious that Inosuke has it bad for you yet he doesn’t even realize it for such a long time. He just knows that he wants to impress his darling, he wants to show how strong and cool he is. You can goad him relatively easy into training sessions with him as the thought of spending time alone with you is more than enough to motivate him. Inosuke is petty as well since he insists on always training and fighting alone with his darling since he gets territorial whenever someone else asks to tag along. The young man wishes to be the center of your attention and wants to be the only one you compliment when he’s beaten you in a fight. He thrives of your praise and gets jealous quickly whenever you praise someone else. Despite enjoying his training with you, he’s always surprisingly careful to not hurt you.

🐗The boy is mad that he let the demon escape who attacked him, is probably already busily proclaiming to no one in particular that he’ll go out and search for them as soon as possible. The moment you step in to check on him though, he’s busily gawking at you and ignores whoever is with you. Even if he should be hurt, he tells you proudly that it’s nothing. Inosuke is clingy and wants attention so he winds up manipulating you into staying with him for now, he blooms under your attention on him and is honestly just liking the fact that you show so much concern. He’s very touchy and definitely guilt-trips you into allowing him to do so. He bristles against your idea of going after the demon who hurt him though, you can’t go without him. Ever since he’s realized his feelings, he also realized how protective he is so he doesn’t feel safe with the thought of letting you go alone even if he knows that you’re tough. Also, that’s his demon to kill. You just stay back and be amazed by him.

Ichimaru Gin

🐍There are only few people who trust him and due to his unsettling behavior and appearance, even fewer dedicate their time to be with him. His darling is certainly a little but pleasant surprise in that aspect. Not even in his Vision yet they search for him willingly to constantly challenge him. He would have dismissed you a long time ago after a humiliating loss for you but you just keep on getting up again and again and constantly improve yourself, step over your limits. Gin appreciates that a lot since it not only serves as an entertainment but it also allows him to have excuses to see you when he becomes obsessed. Gin is strange though since he willingly allowed himself to become obsessed simply because the feeling was exciting and new. As much as he mocks you with his sarcasm, he occasionally does comment that you’ve gotten stronger and gives you tips how you can improve. It might not be immediately obvious but he appreciates your company since he tends to feel a bit lonely.

🐍Honestly, he is fairly amused about someone's attempt to hurt him though he guesses that he might have pissed of the one or other person with his attitude. Gin is someone who probably has someone informing you about what happened simply to have you rushing to him, seeing you worried over him is adorable and he just wants you near him. It's refreshing to see you fussing a bit over him like this since you're usually loud and boisterous. But now you're scolding the Captain for being so airheaded to let himself get mildly injured, scowling before you tell him that you're going to find the bastard who did this to him and beat them black and blue as punishment. He holds you back before you can storm out though, coaxes you instead to spend some time with him. He's been just assaulted after all, he could need your company. Whilst he is pleasantly surprised and thrilled that you'd go that far for him, he'd rather keep you out of his problems. Just continue to be so loyal and dedicated for him.

Sasuke internally gritted his teeth as the future Kazekage set his sights upon you, eerie seafoam green eyes checking you out from head to toe as if committing to memory every feature you possessed. It reminded him all too easily of how Gaara always tried to get close to you whenever he visited Konoha, making up stupid excuses about cultural exchanges and whatnot.

It sickened him.

“I’m Haruno….”

A growl tried to rip its way out of his throat, and Sasuke felt that heat building up in his eyes, his body instinctively wanting to unleash the Sharingan upon the desert-dweller. However, Gaara and his team luckily left before the last Uchiha’s remaining self-restraint snapped.

“Quite a surly fellow that one, isn’t he?”

“I’m sure he’s not a bad person, Haku. If anything, I think it might be nice to get to know him and make new friends.”

As much as he loved your warmth, Sasuke certainly didn’t appreciate it when it was directed at others, much more his former rivals.

Regardless of who stood in his way, he will not waste his second chance.

Sasuke wins his preliminary match just like he’d done in his first life. However, this time he does it without the burden of the curse mark weighing him down. 

He doesn’t care for the adoration of fangirls like Ino, much less the covetous stare of the disguised Orochimaru, who craved the power of his bloodline. The only person Sasuke looked at after he swiftly defeated his opponent was you.

The smile he receives from you is all the reward he needs.

For now, that is.

He will play his cards right and use all the knowledge of the future he possesses to ensure that his future with you is secured.

When he reaches his team by the stands, Sasuke pretends to falter in his footsteps, almost stumbling to the floor when he nears you, and just as he expected, you catch him and place his arm around your shoulders.

“Lean on me, alright? We’re a team, after all.” 

The last Uchiha grunts in reply to keep up appearances but otherwise leans more of his weight on you. He ignores all the eyes that suddenly focus on you two, relishing in the softness & heat of your skin against his own.

The Uchiah's are known to sorta loose it after the loss of a loved one, and I can see it extending from the loved one leaving to the loved one dying. So I just imagine young Sasuke tossing all morals out the window when it comes to the last people he loves cares about.

So yeah I can totally see it, especially in the beginning. Sasuke keeps a tight leash on it at first because hello, they gotta kill Itachi.

Then he gets assigned to Team 7 and has to listen to Kakashi make his speeches about comrades, and teamwork. He starts spending more time around Naruto and Sakura.

He almost dies in the Land of Waves, and oh. Oh no. Does he care about his teammates? Is he starting to love them?

The others are used to him being quiet, so they don't think much of it on the way home. Meanwhile Sasuke is analyzing every single interaction he has had between Naruto and Sakura.

Right away, he can identify what he is beginning to feel towards Naruto. They are similar feelings he felt for Itachi. The feelings for Sakura were new to him. It felt like light after being in the darkness for so long. Sasuke found he rather liked that light and refused to see it extinguished.

When they get back to the village Sasuke starts keeping a closer eye on Sakura. More often enough shadowing her without her knowledge.

It's made even worse once Orochimaru gives him the curse mark. All his darker thoughts are coming to the surface. At that point, boy needs all the brain bleach to help him.

Those sound ninjas dared to try to snuff out Sakura's light. To leave Sasuke alone again in the darkness. Very well then, Sasuke will gladly leave them in darkness instead.

Things don't go exactly as planned, but Sasuke is content for the moment. Those sound ninjas are gone, and Sakura needs him more currently.

Things get really complicated after the Sand villages invasion of the Leaf village. Sakura got hurt because of him, and Naruto was the one to save her. Sasuke found himself in his own way clingy to Sakura. On missions, he often makes sure they're the ones paired up. During training, she is almost always in eye view. Sasuke will never admit this, but at night, he has started watching over her. Her balcony is satisfactory for him to sleep as long as he can make sure she doesn't get hurt. He's always gone before she wakes.

His relationship with Naruto started to become messy. Sasuke already had plans to kill one brother, he will not hesitate to kill another so long as kept Sakura's light.

So, about a few years ago, I was getting back into Naruto and decided to visit Naruto-related subreddits. I had also been thinking of funky ideas related to the series, but I was hesitant to write them. I never enjoyed writing for school projects, so I figured i just didn't like writing.

One of the subreddits was r/narutofanfiction, a subreddit specifically for Naruto fanfics, like the name says. This was in 2022, BTW.

I was mostly lurking on that subreddit until one time, I read a post that someone created. They had wanted help coming up with some cool titles for some OCs. We then had a little chat, and I said something like this. "Maybe I should write a fanfic sometime. I know I've got a bunch of ideas knocking around." The dude said that i should go ahead and do it.

I decided to write my first Naruto fanfic, which was a one-shot based on idea I had. It was called Returning Home, and it was about a former member of the Hidden Stone's Explosion Corps (he left due to losing a hand years ago) returning home from work. However, something horrific happens that leaves him in shock. Fun fact: the fic is VERY loosely based on a song called "Story 2" by the band Clipping. https://archiveofourown.org/works/41908419

While I was writing it, I had a thankfully mild case of CVID, but I still stayed home. I think that gave me extra motivation.

Anyways, I later made a post asking for fics about the Ame Orphans, and sparked up a conversation with a commenter. They were kind enough to beta read the one-shot, and they told me that I had to wait a few days for an AO3 invite. So, I did my editing while I waited.

It was a long while before I started regularly writing after that. I had a fic idea that involved a scientist OC with an original kekkei genial who escaped from the Hidden Sound with some allies, and they stole Orochimaru's Akatsuki ring. Then, they were supposed to work with the Akatsuki and the OC was supposed to be like a yandere for Deidara.

I put off writing it, and I had hated what i wrote, so it never went anywhere. Frankly, it was going to be an edgiest and deal with subject matter that I probably couldn't pull off tastefully, so i think it was for the best.

Now, I actually started writing regularly in 2023, when the r/narutofanfiction discord server posted a spreadsheet with a daily writing challenge. I decided to join, and I found it to be a great motivator.

My second fanfic, The Ame Orphans' First Valentine's Day (https://archiveofourown.org/works/45018589 ,) was inspired by a piece of fanart that I had commissioned from moonamayillu on tumblr (https://www.tumblr.com/moonamayillu/707530031815114752/commission-for-munchbell45-thank-you-so-much?source=share) .

I was working in the Valentine's Day section at my retail job, which made me crave art of the Ame Orphans giving each other Valentine's Day gifts. So, I commissioned moonamayillu and the art was so good that I decided to write a fic based on it. people liked that fic, so I kept on writing other fics.

TL;DR: Someone suggested that I write, so I did. I lost steam, but a daily writing spreadsheet on a Discord server motivated me to write, as well as some banger fanart that motivated me to write my second fic.
