Saudi Arabia have agreed on a deal with the World Snooker Tour to create a Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters. You know how there’s a certain subsection of the shipping fandom, specifically the yahoo fujoshi fangirls, who would ship the guys as exclusively the dominant seme and submissive uke and those obsessed with the main couple, And how these “fans” tend to migrate across all of the different fandoms as they become popular, potentially corrupting the budding fandom and being the potential downfall of it grows too big.

I think that once the main MHA story ends(and hopefully we don’t get a Death of the Author situation so we’ll get an actual ending), people will actually start discussing the problems MHA has and people would actually start complaining more about Bakugo and Aizawa instead of worshipping the ground they walk on. It’s going to be some sort of fandom introspection. The death grip that those two have on the fandom is going to loosen as those specific fans leave for a brand new fandom to corrupt.

Anime Figure Collecting: Tips and Sites

Since I see a lot of people often say “where do I get this?” or “How much does this cost!” or “ahhh I want this” in the notes often, I decided to make a post of figure collecting sites and tips on figure collecting! I hope this post will be of assistance!

General Don’ts of Figures:

If the price is too good to be true (and it isn’t an official or trusted site), it is too good to be true! Beware, bootleggers are everywhere these days!

If the seller or the item listing is not telling you the maker/studio of the figure, don’t trust it!

If the title of the figure is some extremely long jumbled sentence of descriptor or media words (as seen below) then don’t trust it. These are just search words so more people will see the figure listing.

If you’re on sites like Etsy, EBay, or Amazon and the seller says that they “handmade” the figures, it is most likely BS and just bootlegs.

In general stay away from Etsy, EBay, or Amazon to buy figures unless the seller has given undeniable proof (usually pictures of the box it came with or you can simply ask for pictures of the figure) that they are just reselling an official or GK figure.

Stay away from Instagram and Tiktok ads.

General Dos of Figures:

Second hand buying is always encouraged!

Buy from sellers or stores based in Japan! Prices will generally run cheaper and figures are released sooner there!

Support GK (garage kit) studios! GK studios make unofficial figures, they are all mostly indie run and make the figures they sell themselves! GK figures tend to run more expensive, but they are valued part of the figure community.

Keep your boxes! Boxes are important for transferring figures and they’re basically the pedigree papers of anime figures.

Be wise with your money. Figure collecting is just a hobby at the end of the day, please save your money if you need it!

Makeup or paint brushes are ideal for dusting figures!

I would recommend having Whatsapp or PayPal. Lots of figure collecting sites have PayPal as a pay option.

In the UK& new to Tumblr. I have been a cardiophile for a long, long time. I made a lot of recordings and vidoes of myself and willing volunteers over the years. I posted quite a bit on several online cardiophile groups going way back to the Yahoo days. So, while I may be new here I'm not new to the online cardiophile scene. Sadly I deleted all my files, got rid of all my gear a couple of years ago when I was taken seriously ill. Such a shame if only to compare the sound of my heart and the way it behaved before the illness as I know it has changed quite a lot. Pattie Boyd came into our life during our teen years, my sis and me always loved The Beatles and we knew first about Yoko and Linda, and some time later about Cynthia. We found Cyn very beautiful and lovely and we start collecting photos of her from a Southamerican website. At this website there were photos of all the Beatlegirls and then I came across Pattie, I found her very beautiful, young and fresh looking girl, but as my favourite Beatle was John, I had to stick with Cynthia, until I saw The Beatles Something video...

I remember it well, I was with my sis for a New Year's Day lunch in a friends home and this video came across TV as The Beatles 1 was just launched, and I fell in love with that beautiful young blonde woman on TV. That day I decided I would search for her over the internet and see what I could find.

At home we start searching for Pattie and we found, besides this Southamerican great site, lots of other sites like "It's Only Love", "Pretty Blue Eyes" and "Dollyrocker". Thanks to these sites we saw that Pattie was a successful model in the 60s, she had a great style and she looked beautiful and funny. In these sites there was always a "very special thanks" feature and there was always a girl called Lynn mentioned there and my sis ans me were just curious, and in one of these sites there were the Yahoo Groups linked so we thought that it could be great to join them, but we weren't sure because we need to had a yahoo mail and we didn't have one back then...

When finally my sis and me had our yahoo mails, we joined the yahoo groups for the beatlegirls, there were lots of them, but in the end we just stayed at the ones that provided best information, best pictures and there was no spam. In those groups we met lots of interesting people who collect photos, we shared them and it was great fun.

As we were in these groups, we started collecting more and more pics that we kept in floppy discs (do you remember them?) and our dream was to build a great website for them, so we started using the picso platform and we were quite satisfyed, then we moved our collection to webs, and finally to facebook. We bought lots of magazines (overall Vogue from 1969 as it was my favourite Pattie era) and we wanted to share them without tags and with great quality scans as everybody deserved to see the greatest quality pic of their idols.

Yahoo groups were shut down and I had a facebook page for Pattie, Jenny and Paula that had lots of likes, comments, shares... it was a real success, so big that I had to close it down because I couldn't manage, it was sad for me because Pattie was my favourite beatlegirl and I wanted to have a proper site for her, but then they came facebook groups with great collections so I just joined them having in mind to share my great collection of scans and screencaps, a thing I still have to do...

As we were saving, sharing and making our site for Pattie and her sisters, we discovered she was more than just a muse, she was behind Something, but also from some other Beatles song; she was a model and did some acting, she didn't gave up her modelling carrer as her husband wanted her to do; she discovered Eastern philosophy by 1967 and she encouraged George Harrison and the rest of the Beatles to follow... George Harrison is aknowledged to have brought Eastern music to pop music, this has been a cultural revolution in the 60s and it's great four young musicians wer part of it, but it happened thanks to Pattie, and I would like that everybody aknowledges her for that, as this was a great change in the 20th century and she was in the middle of it, and sometimes she is refered just as "THE muse" of two great rock icons, but she was more than that.

Today, on Pattie's 79th birthday we want to remember her for what we like and admire her.
