Well, you see, LoveSick!Athlete doesn't really get jealous, so to speak. I mean, of course, he does get jealous, everyone does, seeing as it's a normal human emotion. And he's not a complete robot or anything. The thing is, he's just too cocky, too confident in himself to feel it often.

It's a mixture of confidence for you and himself. He's attractive, and he knows it. He's a twenty-one, lean, athlete who can kick anyone's ass if they dared to flirt with you. Though, he never does, seeing as he doesn't see any of these men as threats. Actually, he sees it as comedy, something that makes him laugh. He really pities these guys who think they can get with you, the hottest chick on uni campus. Like, really, what does this guy think he's doing, doll? Does he really believe that a babe like you would fork up your number to anyone? Especially, a guy who's already got a bald spot?

Honestly, he's really mean about it, and sometimes you can't help but feel bad for the guys who approach you. But, come on now, they must be stupid or something to completely brush off the arm that's wrapped around you shoulder. They likely just ignored it, hoping to save their ego, somewhat. They should've just seen it coming, at least, that's how you rationalize it.

He knows you wouldn't fuck another guy for two reasons:

1. First of all, why would you? Especially, when you have the hottest guy around the block. LoveSick!Athlete loves you to death. He makes sure your needs are met. That you're never hungry, thirsty, or needy. Nope, his baby's never left hanging. He's never left you high and dry, the bedroom set aside.

2. Who would hook up with? No, really, I'm serious. LoveSick!Athlete has practically chased off all competition, all you got is him. There's not a second that you're away from him, besides the bathroom. If you got a different class than him, welp he's waiting right out the door for you, ignoring all the whispers from your classmates who gawk at the hockey player.

3. He knows you're busy, he makes sure you are, with all that classwork, trying to get through college in one piece. What a hard worker you are; he's so proud of you. You're far too caught up in your grades and semester hours to be bothered with other men, though he's made sure that he's the only one that stuck around. Don't worry, he doesn't mind your tight schedule. You can't go to a cafe, date, 'cause you have to study? That's okay, what do you want? He'll bring it to your dorm! 'Cause, y'know, he's sweet like that ;)

4. And finally, though this isn't really a separate reason, he made sure that everyone knew ya'll were together. Well, not that you know that. He told all his buddies about you, how sweet you are, and how you're such a good girlfriend. I mean, he knows you guys never made it official, but what's the problem with that? You're practically dating, in his mind. You guys text/call all the time, you go out to eat together, go to amusement parks, and so, so much more. How is that not dating? Why *wouldn't* you want to date him? You guys would be such a power couple, don't 'cha think, babe? Our babies would be so cute; I hope they have your eyes <;3?"

Alright, a bit of an update regarding the arc....unfortunately not a good update in my opinion.

I don't think I'm going to finish all of Blu's Arc in time for Christmas :(

I tried...I really did, I thought I could, but honestly, I should've known better. Getting 3 major parts completely finished and ready to post with less than a month left??? Yeah, I dont think that's happening. Plus, with it being the holidays, things have been busy IRL with family, work, and all that "fun" stuff. Perhaps I may have been a bit too ambitious. I haven't been getting my right sleep either for the last couple of weeks, so that's been interfering with my motivation and ability to draw during the only times I'm able. Now I know I've said many, many times that it's okay if Blu is late and doesn't actually arrive by real-time Christmas, that's still fine. If he's late, then he's late. If he comes in January or February, it won't matter. He'll still be a winter baby, at least, and his birthday will still be on Christmas in the story, so be it. But...this was more of a personal goal I wanted to set for myself, and I kinda feel a little disappointed in myself that I likely won't be able to meet it...

And let's be honest...I'm not the fastest artist XD I'm slow as hell when it comes to making comics. It's taken me weeks to a month to just get ONE out on a few occasions (usually, that was because they were very long, but still).

I'm saying all this now just so ya'll won't be disappointed later, most of you probably seen this coming anyway XD I think it's safe to say I wont be focusing on the Christmas deadline anymore, but I'm still gonna try to get the arc finished in a reasonable amount of time, without disregarding my health of course ^^

Lessons In Dinner Prep (Calvin Evans x Reader)

Summary: You and Calvin are busy preparing for the chaos that is Easter Sunday and nowhere is that more apparent than in your own kitchen.

Looking at your list, you could already tell that Saturday and Sunday were going to be hectic. The house was immaculate, but the nightmare that was prepping for Easter dinner was already giving you a headache.

You looked over at your husband who had been laying on his back on the red checked picnic blanket, arms straight up as he did gentle little airplanes with Ellen, your daughter, her little baby giggles causing you to break out in a smile. Up above, the birds were already chirping, the flowers in the front garden blooming while you remained protected from the sun under the shade of the big trees in the yard. Six-Thirty lay in the grass, lifting his head when he heard Ellen erupting into a fit of giggles.

"Why does this have to be so frustrating?" you groaned.

"What's frustrating sweetheart?" Calvin asked.

"Holidays," you answered. "Last time I was this stressed out was at Thanksgiving and Christmas."

Calvin drew Ellen protectively to his chest as he sat up, kissing her head. "Alright," he said. "Do we know who's coming?"

"Your mother and father, your brothers, your sisters," you rattled off. "I think Dr. Powers said he, his mother and Doris were both coming."

Calvin made a face as he tickled Ellen's cheek. "What about the chain?" he asked. "Anyone we know there?"

"Henny, Marie and a couple of others," you told him. "Rose said that she and Abe were gonna try and come since we celebrated Passover with them."

Calvin could easily see the dilemma you were in, unsure as to how many people would be convening en masse to the house. "Not sure when Ma will be getting together with the ladies for mah-jongg but maybe they can help."

You weren't so sure yourself, but perhaps it was worth a shot.

Friday came at last and you were home early since classes at the college only went half days. Calvin had gone to help his father for a few hours, leaving you and Six-Thirty a little time to relax.

Into the house you went, not surprised in the least at hearing chatter in the dining room. Sometimes Pat and the other ladies played until dinner, especially on days like today.

"And ya'll should've seen the shade of red that ol' witch turned," Henny King laughed.

"Oh my God, she must've been redder than Zelda's lipstick," Rose laughed.

"That's still no excuse for being nosy," Marie Bianchi said, handing two of her tiles off to Rose. "And if Freida thinks that she's going to be getting any of my seven layer cookies at the bake sale next week, she has another thing coming."

Six-Thirty yipped and all eyes were suddenly on you, the ladies all greeting you happily and rushing to give you a hug, beckoning for you to come into the dining room with them.

"Oh honey you look stressed," your mother-in-law remarked. "What's on your mind?"

"Just trying to figure out Easter dinner that's all," you said. "The usual stuff."

"Oh God I remember my first Easter when Louie and I moved here," Marie groaned. "First time I ever burned a ham."

"That's nothin," Henny chuckled. "When Paul and I moved it on up here from Georgia, I tried my hand at making a pecan pie and the damn thing turned to mush on the inside. Almost made my mother-in-law sick."

"Oh you wanna hear horror stories," Rose said. "Thanksgiving, my mother-in-law and I made a turkey and it sat too long in the oven. Drier than a popcorn fart."

You laughed a little bit, but you were still a little anxious about the whole thing.

"Don't worry dear," Marie assured you. "We'll finish this round and then maybe we'll see if we can help."

You waited patiently until they all finished before descending on the kitchen to help you with whatever you needed. You and your mother-in-law took care of most of the preparations while Marie and Rose ran to the store to grab all the grocery items on your list.

"Now honey, remember," Henny told you. "The secret to a good blackberry pie ain't just the berries. Gotta put a little bit of lemon zest in it and some cinnamon."

You took it all in, following their advice as best you could and in no time at all, you had everything prepped and ready to go into the oven or the fridge on Saturday.

"Oh wow!" Calvin remarked as he and his father came through the door with Ellen in tow. "You guys did an amazing job!"

"Thank you," you chuckled, kissing your husband. "Though I did have a little help."

Calvin kissed you sweetly before joining you and Six-Thirty in the living room, relieved that after all the chaos, you could finally relax.

"He's a natural, almost too natural" Hesh commented, arms crossed over his chest. Watching as the man continued light conversation with the barista making their drinks.

The brothers standing off to the side, watching as their friend managed to get them free banana bread slices with his smooth talking. Smiling politely and thanking the barista for their time.

With excited expressions, the younger men began asking for tips and tricks. Still in awe of how cool he was during the interaction.

Eyebrows raising in surprise, Ajax nodded along. Listening to the praise being fed to him. Forcing down the thoughts that he came off too strong and made the poor worker uncomfortable.

'They have enough people to deal with, and probably a lot of creeps but have to be nice to everyone. They had to be trying to usher him out of there and dropped some hints asking me to stop. Like that awkward half laugh, oh I overdid it. Shit'

"Playing it by ear is key, boys" Ajax laughed, taking a bite of his food. Hoping that it was given in good spirits and not a desperate attempt to make him leave.

Major acrophobia. "Ya'll are killing the spider"

A shrill scream caused you to jump, rushing into the other room. Grabbing a broom on the way as a mock-up weapon.

Eyes scanning the room, your brows furrowing in confusion as there was no obvious danger. Just Ajax in the corner, pressing himself against the wall as he lightly chuckled at you.

"Hey, how've you been" he asked smoothly, one hand rubbing the back of his neck. Eyes cast down to one specific spot on the floor. You followed his gaze, focusing on a small black spot.

It couldn't be.

"Was, was all that because of a spider?" You initially laughed, jumping back as the bug moved toward you. "Shit. Elias!" You called, broom dropped and teammate abandoned.

Binge watcher. Him and Keegan watched an entire season of Stranger Things in one night once.

"Are….are you crying, dude?" Ajax snorted, receiving a glare in return. The two men finishing off the latest season of Stranger Things.

"No. I'm just enjoying the heartfelt reunion and cliffhanger. Are you crying?" Keegan muttered, shifting further into his spot. Eyes trained on the screen, as his friend continued staring over at him, eyes lit up with amusement.

Guilty pleasure that he won't let anyone know (minus Logan, who accidentally found out and they bonded) but loves rom coms.

[ 1:33AM ]

[ SAN DIEGO ]

Laying in the dark, eating handfuls of chips slowly as he silently urged the two characters to finally admit their feelings for one another. Sighing heavily at the obvious attraction they were both oblivious to.

"They really should've made a season 2" Ajax all but jumped out of his seat at the quiet voice from behind him. Scrambling for the remote to shut off the TV, keeping his guilty pleasure mostly hidden.

Shrugging at the younger male, "Logan, why are you awake?"

"I'm not judging. I love Oran High School Host Club, put it back on" Logan urged, slipping down onto the other side of the couch. Settling back into the cushions.

Arguably the best passenger princess of all the Ghosts.

A carefully curated playlist filtering through the speakers, your group drove out to the lake lot the Walker family owned for the weekend.

"Alex, what do you got for snacks up there?" You asked, peering up from your phone. Situated in the backseat with Keegan and Kick.

"Would you prefer sour, sweet or salty?" He started, sifting through one of the many insulated bags at his feet.

A Nintendo Switch kind of guy. Especially the Zelda games. He's been playing them since childhood, and still has the gold cartridge Legend of Zelda NES game.

Rocking lightly on his feet, he eagerly waited in line. Game in hand, impatient to start playing it the moment he got home.

"Is this everything for you sir?" The cashier asked, noticing the 8 bit design on the man's wallet. Commenting on how they thought it was interesting.

"It is, thank you. Can't wait to play, I've been pretty into Zelda since I was a kid" Ajax smiled, focusing on the machine in front of him as the two fell into conversation about modern gaming vs retro gaming.

Retro gaming came out on top overall.

If you're dating, he gives the sweetest gifts. More into DIY than store-bought.

A jar was placed in front of you, inside contained multiple colours of folded up paper. Eyebrow raised, you opened the lid and pulled a light blue star out.

Heart melting as you unfolded the paper; seeing a small note about when the two of you first met. Jar and note placed to the side, you launched yourself onto the man. Feeling him chuckle as he held you close; whispering about how much he loved you, and felt so blessed that he could call you his.

Does the "huh?" then promptly answers thing.

"Hey, Alex. What time is that movie you wanted to go to tonight?" You called from the bathroom, to your fiancé laying on the bed.

"Huh?" He started, phone dropped on the bed beside him. Right as you were about to repeat the question - "it's at 6:45, so I figure if we get there by 6:20, 6:30 we should have enough time to buy snacks and find our seats"

BLANKET HOG

Blinking awake, you sighed. Body shivering as you became aware of the cold air settling around you. Hand feeling around for the blanket, you grew increasingly confused as your search came back unsuccessful.

Rolling over, you groaned. Seeing your boyfriend cocooned in the shared quilt, sleeping rather soundly.

Pulling at the material, you pouted. He had it wrapped taught to his body, leaving your tired limbs very little chance at unraveling it. Another tired sigh escaped your lips as you pushed yourself from the mattress, grabbing your own blanket from the closet.

scratching my head & updating my banned list. some thoughts regarding the MiA thing.

everything regarding the Made In @byss thing makes me uncomfortable, not only the subject matter of the uncensored version / manga, but the response to it. female idols are criticized for reading feminist literature while male idols can consume thinly veiled l*li eroguro content as well as recommend it w/o anyone finding out until months later. nobody is saying the idols rec-ing this anime are convicted criminals or inherently terrible people, but people do have a right to be uncomfortable and set their boundaries. there's certain subject matter that's upsetting even in a fictitious world. but also seeing the way ppl will automatically defend or try to come up excuses for their favorite kpop boys without fully acknowledging Why this makes some peoples stomach churn is concerning. media should be allowed to explore dark themes and not always be held to a standard of "moral purity" but i also feel, this is a more nuanced situation because some of it feels like and realistically, probably is gratutious fetish content. also like. you're allowed to be sad and disappointed someone u looked up to and idolized did something disappointing !!! ya'll should've seen ME in 2016 as a seungri & top fan . but i do think if something like this comes out and u don't bat an eye or justify it you do need to take a moment and reassess how parasocial you are

Oh my God! I just got back from seeing the Super Mario Bros Movie & holy shit! It was amazing!

I loved it!

9.8 or 9.9 outta 10! Leaning more towards 9.9.

Now, spoilers ahead!

Do not read if you haven't seen the movie yet!

Now, literally, the only things that I'd change was that I would've gone with the Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi series' more varied & unique models for the toads. They could've at least had girl, kid, & elderly toads running around. It's just weird that they're all guys & all the same age with the only variations being color. The most unique toads were Toad & the one that I'm fairly sure should've been Toadsworth. You know, the one with the super deep voice? Him.

The only other thing I would've changed was the Kong Kingdom's vehicle designs. I would've preferred it if they were built more reminiscent of Diddy's inventions (not Cranky's though, Cranky's were perfect), but honestly? I'm willing to let this one slide because I get why they went this route.

It wouldn't make sense for the Kongs to have carts all ramshackle & patchwork without Mario, Peach, & Toad's also looking the same. And the entire point of having the carts in the first place was to be a reference to Mario Kart. So, that wouldn't have worked.

I mean, I also get why they did the colorswapping toads thing, at least, theoretically. It's probably easier to just use the same design & change the colors. Also, I remember something about Nintendo being weird about all the toads looking the same with Sticker Star, so that might've also contributed. Which I thought was disappointing even back then, personally. I really liked how different they all looked. So, I guess that it just feels lazy to me.

Otherwise? Perfect!

Like, omG!

Bowser stole the show!

His expressions! When he was angry, you could see it in his eyes as he got progressively more unhinged! Just so wide & "Imma fuckin' murder you, shortstack!"

And those little hints near the end from him that he might've not had the best life? "I was finally going to be happy!" & "Make you miserable like me!" 😧

INTERESTING!! I hope we get some stuff about that going forward!

Like, what if he grew up in an abusive household & that's why he's so good to his own kids?

Also, I loved how much like a teenager with a, really pretty toxic, crush he acted like!

I hope that, if there's a sequel? The Koopa Kids show up & we get Bowser & their dynamics! Not just Junior, but also the Koopalings from the Super Mario Brothers Super Show & Superstar Saga!

Speaking of Superstar Saga! I hope that the Firebrand & Thunderhand come into play! That is literally the only game I see them in & I loved them so much! I especially loved how Luigi got an element of his own besides just getting fire like Mario.

Also, all those little combo moves that the 2 performed in the Mario & Luigi series! It'd really highlight their teamwork!

Something else, but not like a must for it to be good? I would be very delighted if Daisy showed up in a sequel (with accurate spunky, feisty characterization) & her & Luigi just hit it off like a house on fire! I low-key ship them more than MarioxPeach.

And I loved that, while Luigi has obvious anxiety issues, being afraid wasn't his entire character. That would've very quickly gotten very old!

I also loved the obvious love the Bros had for each other. Like, even though it was fairly obvious the information that Bowser was fishing for in his interrogation & his own prominent fear, Luigi still had the cohones to tell this literal fire-breathing monster that "Only the princesses with good taste" would find his brother attractive. He might've been scared shirtless, but his admiration for his brother is REAL, ya'll!

I also really liked how Mario & Luigi's accents were very obviously Brooklyn, but wasn't in your face. That was a nice touch.

Also, DK? He was great! He was an egotistical ass with daddy issues, but he was a funny & likeable egotistical ass with daddy issues.

I liked the sort of razzy, frenemy-type rivalry poking at each other thing that he & Mario has at the end. Like, they obviously got beef, but there's no real heat to it at the end.

Peach was super cool too. She wasn't a damsel & she did shit! Also, she had a lot of badass moments! Loved the ice dress!

I also liked that they didn't just jump into the whole MarioxPeach thing. Like, they had great chemistry, but the movie wasn't about them. It was about Mario's brotherly relationship with Luigi. It's obvious that Mario & Peach are just friends & I think that's pretty realistic, all things considered.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a little shipping whore too & I'd definitely like to see them together at some point, but this is not the time. It'd feel too rushed. I'm not saying that it won't happen. Just that it shouldn't happen yet.

Also, the Psycho Paratroopa who definitely has issues & merced the shit outta Rainbow Road with a blue shell!

And the dog who very obviously has some anger issues that slipped under the radar of his masters! He was a dog on a mission! He wanted to fuck Lu's day up! Then, at the end where he gives that sorta nod of begrudging respect? Hilarious!

Just AAAAGGGHHH!!!

I will say, the nihilist Luma? Yeah, either he wasn't like that before he was captured or he's bullshitting about wanting to die & is being a little shit. Otherwise, he'd have pulled the trigger himself a long time ago rather than waiting for Bowser to sacrifice him in a fiery display of his passion for Peach. Just saying.

From the moment that you two met, he made it pretty clear that he thinks your cute.

He flirts with you at every chance seen. Whenever you met with him or talked to him, expecting a " Heyyy cutie ;) " instead of an actual greeting was normal.

But even with the excessive name-calling and winks, he never seriously asked you out. He was absolutely confident in smacking your ass and running in another direction, but thinking about asking you on a date was, for some reason, scary?-

But one day Dream was just flirting with you as usual, when he made a joke which went along the lines of " Y/n, we would make such a good couple, we should go on a date lol "

You just looked him straight in the eyes and went

Normally, someone would be concerned that this would mean the other person would say no, but George was blushing and looking at you with big eyes, which you took as a good sign.

I mean, it was a different case with all the "Deez Nuts" jokes he made, did he mean it or did he not?-

He did try to be special about asking you out though. He flirts with you so much, but the first time he asked you out on a date? He didn't want that to be any small memory. So he tried to show that he meant business.

He bought a bouquet of your favorite flowers and a box of chocolates. ( Yes, he did see this in a movie. Yes, he watches romance movies. Yes, he did cry at the end- )

After double-checking the chocolates and flowers, he showed up at your doorstep. He was nervous, he won't deny that. But it was a happy nervous, not a scared nervous, so he was nervous AND jumping up and down at the same time-

After you opened the door, you just saw your friend Sapnap standing there with a bunch of flowers and a chocolate box? He was hopping around a little and he had his puppy eyes mode on-

So when he realized that you too are getting a lil' bit more closer than "friends" usually are, that's when it hit you too.

You were both too scared at first. You didn't want to risk your friendship with Karl, just in case he didn't feel the same way. He was thinking the same thing and didn't want to risk anything either.

By the time he finally hyped himself up enough to ask you out, you had done the same-

The day of said asking out was one filled with excited and equally nervous screams and hyper-excitement from BOTH OF YOU.

When you both met up, you ran towards each other at the same time, the both you almost face-planted and ended up on the ground. Luckily you acknowledged the tall man running towards you at high speed before he did himself, so you stopped sprinting halfway and braced for impact.

Wind River Reservation, Wyoming

October, 2022

Kaya giggled as she placed her father's cowboy had on her head, kicking her little legs as she squirmed in her seat and sang along to Extreme's "Hole Hearted" as it played on the radio.

Rhett and Kaya were suddenly startled by the aggressive snorts and loud, metallic *BANGS!* that erupted from the trailer being towed in the back. "Daddy?" the four year old said nervously.

"It's ok baby, he can't get out," Rhett assured her. "Can't hurt us either."

They were almost there, just a little ways over the hills and they'd be at the Granite Hill Ranch and finally........fucking FINALLY, be able to get the problem horse unloaded.

They turned off at the sign, heading into what could only be described as the deep backwoods of Wyoming, a place where good cell reception was hard to come by, where hard work met even harder living and where the closest friends of the Abbotts had lived for as long as they could remember.

Another loud *BANG!* startled Rhett nearly witless before he saw the big house coming into view. Two boys, age twelve, came darting down the hills, waving to the truck before Rhett pulled to a stop and rolled down the window.

"UNCLE RHETT!!!!"

"Uncle Rhett go up to the barn!!"

"Meet me up there!" Rhett told them.

Up a little further he went, the two boys practically jumping across the road as Rhett pulled to a stop outside the stables. Rhett lifted Kaya out of her carseat and set her on the ground as Wes, his daughter and the two nephews who had met him on the road, made their way to him.

"Tee-tee!!!!!" Kaya screamed when she saw Wes's daughter, Theresa.

The girls ran to each other, practically tackling each other into the dirt and giggling before their fathers told them to go and play.

"Whatcha got?" Wes asked him.

"Got a rescue and he's as ornery as your grandfather," Rhett chuckled.

"Bro, are you kidding?" Wes chuckled. "Nothing could be as ornery as Grandpa."

Wes helped Rhett drop the tailgate of the trailer, the two of them letting the salty bronco into the corral where he bolted, kicked and bucked, cantering in circles all along the fence. Scars were visible all over along with the ribs and missing patches in his coat, a sad sight to see, but one that the Abbotts and Wes's family were all too familiar with.

"How are the feet looking?" Wes asked.

"Awful," Rhett told him. "Dad and I drained a festering abscess on one of'em about a week ago. Should've seen it, it looked like Slimer had popped right out of it."

Wes made a gagging noise along with a face. "I hate when that happens," he said. "The feet are always the worst."

"Think we should let him be for a while?" Rhett asked him.

"Yeah let him be," Wes said. "We'll get Danny and Bear to deal with him at feeding time."

Rhett and Wes went about their chores with hardly a problem, tending to the horses, the cattle and making sure that the buffalo pen was safe and secured, the barbed wire pulled taught and tight to ensure that none of them got out and that no neighborhood punks stood a chance at getting in.

"Still dealin with those punks ya'll told me about?" Rhett asked Wes as they tightened the wire fencing around the bison paddock.

"The sneaky little brats from the rich leaf-peeper families?" Wes enquired. "Oh yeah."

"What'd they do now?"

"Little shitheads thought they'd be funny and try to jump the fence," Wes explained. "Little did they know was that it's the height of mating season and the male bison are kinda like how we were."

"Horny and angry?" Rhett chuckled.

"You bet your ass," Wes laughed.

Out of the corners of their eyes, Wes and Rhett saw their two little girls waddle running all the way back to them with something in their arms. "Daddy!! Daddy! Look what we found!"

"Whatcha got there girlies?" Rhett asked.

"We found a kitty under the porch!" Theresa exclaimed excitedly.

"Oh he's kinda cute I......oh......OH! OH SHIT!!" Rhett exclaimed.

"Whatsa matter Daddy?" Kaya asked innocently.

"Uh Kaya, baby, black with white stripes is not a kitty," Rhett explained.

Kaya looked down when the little critter began climbing up to her shoulder, sticking his tail up in the air. "Uh oh......" she chirped.

Rhett and Wes barely had time to utter another word before the air was suddenly choked with that awful smell they were all too familiar with......skunk spray. They coughed, choked and gagged at the awful smell as the skunk continued to spray the two unfortunate men and the two girls before jumping off her back and skittering back through the grass to the porch nest.

"Oh God.......oh God this stinks," Rhett gagged.

"Ok," Wes said, trying his best not to throw up the lunch that threatened to creep into his throat. "First thing's first, we need a crapload of tomatoes."

Rhett took a few deep breaths as Wes called for Bear, the shaggy haired twelve year old skidding to a halt before the skunk smell caught up with him. Wes handed him two twenty dollar bills and told him to go to the corner store and get as much spaghetti sauce, tomato paste and tomato juice as he could get his hands on.

"You gonna be ok?" he asked, noticing the pale look on Rhett's face.

"I think so," Rhett groaned.

"Makes you think twice about getting Kaya a cat, doesn't it?"

"Oh I fuckin hate you right now," Rhett groaned again, feeling his stomach turn.

Wes cackled as Rhett flipped him off. Giving themselves a tomato bath would be easy.....the two little ghouls on the other hand? That would be a whole other story.

Violet Evergarden Movie review!! **spoliers**

Ya'll, I've been waiting for this movie for months now and I was super excited to be able to finally watch it!!! Funny short story, I had thought I was watching this movie on Netflix after I finished the series😂 I was hella sad when I found out it was the wrong one LOL.

I was so shocked when they brought up the grand daughter of Ann, who, if you remember, was the girl from the series whose mom wrote her letters every year for her birthday. It really came full circle and I liked the concept of the granddaughter's role, though it was minor. It really solidified Violet's importance and impact she made as a Doll.

Don't get me started on Yurith. Ya girl sobbed when his time came. I couldn't stop crying. But when Iris came in for Violet's place telling him she met Gilbert, seeing him so happy made me shed tears. When his friend came on the phone so they could talk for the last time, it hurt so much!!! Yurith's letters hit home for me, especially his letter to his brother.

I have been waiting and wanting the moment for Violet and Gilbert to be together and to profess their love for one another!!! I love them so much. Seeing Gilbert sad made me sad but seeing Violet crying because Gilbert shut her out made me feel for her. But ahh I'm so happy they stayed together. The ending is pretty open ended but for sure they lived and grew old together.

I forgot to mention how when the ED started playing that’s when the waterworks began to flow even harder lmao. I've seen people post on reddit how this movie ruined the series for them. For me, that isn't the case lol. They say that they should've kept Gilbert dead but I wholeheartedly disagree!! Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for romance but I remember when I finished the season a few months back, I legit was so sad and heartbroken that Gilbert was "dead" or at least we thought he was. Idk, I'm satisfied with this ending. The only thing I would change is have them both move to where Hodgins and everyone is haha.

The relationship Violet had with Hodgins was actually sweet. I saw him as a father figure or guardian for her. It made me sad seeing him tear up at the end knowing she most likely wouldn't come back. I hope he gets a son or daughter one day hahah since he always talks about it. One thing I wanna know is if Cattleya is with Hodgins or Benedict because I've read online she and Benedict were a thing but idk??? I also liked how Gilbert's brother redeemed himself as well and will become the successor to the family. There's so much I wanna talk about but I just can't think of it all at the moment. But overall I loved this movie and it hit me in the feels once again.
