request: we should talk about ... who the crows' godly parents would be :)

a/n: AHHHH thank you for this request i get to talk about my two favorite things, please leave your thoughts/opinions!

inej ghafa - daughter of hades

sticks to the shadows

enjoys the silence

is almost always the observer

more powerful than anyone gives her credit for

she may be silent but she needs the laughs and the found family

is loved by everyone she meets

if you underestimate her once, you never do it again

knows everything

strong sense of justice

nina zenik - daughter of aphrodite

sorry i know this one is super obvious

instinct effect on people

very sure of herself and her own beauty

passionate

she OWNS the color red

loves so deeply

understands everyone's different love languages

flirts with everyone

knows all the romance language

finds a way to make her practical nemesis to fall in love with her

so so selfless

would sacrifice everything for the people she cares about

makes everyone feel beautiful in their own skin despite everything that’s hurt them

can literally make someone's heart stop, do i have to say anything else?

jesper fahey - son of apollo and dionysus

i absolutely can’t decide so he’s both

flirty as hell, as we all know

literally a ball of fucking sunshine

very bright and confident

comfortable with everyone

very into the party scene

dionysus’ effect would be his obsession with cards

extroverted as hell

happy and light until someone tries to fight him

will absolutely end your life and then make a joke about it

huggable and cute but don't fuck with what he loves

wylan van eck - hephaestus

okay this one is kind of a stretch

but hephaestus's thing is making things

everything is much more hands-on

lots of tinkering

and wylan is always working on making new substances

he doesn’t excel with words but gods can he work well with his head and hands to make something helpful for the crows

likes that jesper doesn’t sit still

mini kaz always has a different idea

or a different plan

or a different way of doing things

good under pressure

kaz brekker - son of athena

always has a plan

athena is the goddess of war strategy, and kaz always has a strategy

war without the aggression

unless absolutely necessary

she’s also wise

and though kaz plays his experience in the barrell as just toughening up it’s made him wise

people look to him for leadership

doesn’t need many words

kaz’s plans are creative

in a way they’re there own type or art

definitely the smart one outta the bunch

matthias helvar - son of ares

aggressive

mr im not a criminal im a Soldier

goes on too become a criminal

probably the most level headed of the group

like doesn’t do the impulsive thing and thinks like a fighter

softie on the inside

but only for one pretty heartrender

the family he has within the crows is so important to him

they’re like his regiment, the people he’ll go down fighting next to

all warriors need to rest sometimes so lots of exhausted lazy smiles

everyone confides in him for some reason

stubborn.

OC Wintersnow list

This is my attempt at some kind of list or oc format wintersnow A once powerful ice dragon Characters in no order King agar the king of wintersnow Vikis:commander, leads hunting groups, farms, builds buildings, married to has twin boys. Valla aethel:commander, leads raids, trains sea warfare, fishes, farms, blacksmith, falla: commander fishermen house builder trains troops leads raids, and scouting parties,her sister leads the battle guards, she is the cousin Kassandra a scout. magvin:commander, trains troops leads hunting parties and raids, builds boats and houses and trains in the little magic he knows. Kassandra:a scout, farmer, fisher, cloths maker, blacksmith, deck builder, cousin of falla. Also, studying magic. Gis:blacksmith she is an expert hunter able to go the beyond and back she is one of the only people to make it too the blood clan and survive farms and fishes Vy: she is a vet but she is still dangerous making maps and weapons and being an expert poison maker. She loves fishing but her granddaughter Liza thinks its too dangerous. Liza: The granddaughter of vy she lives with her grandmother since both her parents were killed, she may be young but she is an expert hunter and fishermen, hopes to be a blacksmith. Kadrick:vet the father of magvin, lives slow life with being a fishermen and blacksmith, helps the farmers and trains sometimes. Rayna: Wife of agar queen of wintersnow Iggy: scout and hunter fishes and farms trains the troops and newbies Hux one eye: He is a famer scout hunter and bird catcher, builds houses and leads hunting parties, a pretty good blacksmith Harold: son of hux, he himself as an experience fighter, has a fiery wife with 2 children a girl and a boy Rudo: Hunter: Adon: Soturi: Indrad: adopted son of the vet Hygen and adopted brother Tih found as baby in the words, good with as sword but great with learning magic, fisherman and farmer. Hygen:Vet father of indrad and Tih, he found his son indrad in the mountains on a hunting trip and brought it back to his son and wife. Tih: First born of hygen older brother of indrad The military structure Leader King Agar the commanders vikis, aethel, falla . magvin the unbroken proven warriors who raid and train and some practice magic, but mostly train. Vet retired troops and warriors who assist the village, sometimes going on hunts and raids. Spirits Gungar the bear spirit a great beast bigger than any mountain Mydraga the wolf spirit a sneaky thing white as the snow and fast as the wind its howl can be heard for miles. Land and sea Beast/creatures many more tiger mammoth bears wolves foxes sabertooths sabertooth bears Brender: wolf deer Moose boars Wylans: whale and lion sea Mammoths dying out Vulture fox snappers sea History Years after the dragons death the people who found its bones found them massive enough to worship and made a village around the bones seeing them as sacred.The people call themselves the frost people.They named the stronghold village after the dragon naming the village wintersnow. The village turned into a stronghold and produced many more but do the harsh cold its only the one stronghold village.Overtime the bones hollowed away but they never forgot.The people their are in small numbers only about 700-750 people. Culture They are considered the war clan for their time spent fighting and producing strong troops and warriors to hunt. They believe in two spirits the spirit of the wolf and the spirit of the bear. Their people have a tightknit clan structure, If the parents or children need something, the clan will be there to provide and help. They are very callous when it comes to fighting, hunting, defending their families and land. They have they ice shards that are really important to them. They treasure their stories and customs, Magic they use ice magic called winterfrost with this they can any weapon out of ice and shoot spikes. They used to be able to do a lot more but after generations their magic is disappearing and it does not help that more and more of the old people are not around to teach since they are dying from the cold, hunts, or raids, and the snow does not help its getting more and more difficult and since the lost of their library. Before they were able to make their ice weapons most of their weapons were fused with some sort of old ice magic(the first ice magic) so when they hit an enemy they would freeze. Current Time or something idk the ruler of these people is king agar he leads the clan and people of the tribe he is also called the high shield for protecting his people and their land. Agar did kill his father who was a callous man himself since he killed his younger brothers father and uncles to rule and sanctioned hunting groups that never returned so he could have their land and wives. He had his own people killed and thrown to the beast, so when agar reached 16 he revolted with enough men and woman he won his crown by the age of 17.Agar had the support if a lot vets and military support, since a lot of people didn't like his father. Blood clan This is another clan called the blood clan, they split off form them to use other kinds of magics.After years of war with the warrior clan their magic has remained strong many people believe that its because they make blood sacrifices to their spirit to maintain their magic. Spoiler review :Six of crows by Leigh bardugo

My REACTION WHILE READING IT :oh god what have i done to myself ; what have i done to my sanity

This bloody masterpiece gave me everything i wanted in this life !!i’m so glad like so amazingly glad i read the grisha trilogy first before diving into Soc , i wanted to fathom the world deeply so i can enjoy the masterpiece as much as i should !! i had a strong feeling that SOC gonna be my truly bookish masterpiece and as always ; my intuition did not betray me !! As i always keep saying ; the most wonderful thing about books is that you can measure the smartness of the authors throughout their stories !! and hey let me tell u !! leigh has just a hellish smart mind .

So naturally i’m a sucker of villains and brutality ; i just enjoy so much the complexity of their personalities . somehow they have always this twisted back story that keep you on the edge of your seat and let you attached emotionally to them .

So this book is about a six mind twisted kick ass dudes mainly driven by greed and the unbearable obstacles they faced before joining the famous gang * the dregs * .

So the crew is basically guided by the loveliest viciously badboy ever and the breaker of hearts clearly !! KAZ BREKKER ; *breathhard* *controlurself* . How can i describe him ; how can i describe this fictional character that hollowed out my heart insanely !!

As i mentioned before , i read this book, becuz of a fanart of kaz brekker i saw in insta and holy moly , i don’t regret a shred of my decision . can we sit a moment and admire this treasure !! i got a fetish for this .

He’s smart as fuck hot as fuck viciously mad as fuck greedy as fuck everything about him is attractive as fuck .

HE’S THE BEST GRAY CHARACTER I’VE EVER READ ABOUT BEFORE LIKE REALLY . somehow leigh slay beautifully the villains in her stories * despite the harsh fate that faced the darkling in her first damn trilogy * more than the good dudes .

INEJ & NINA : THESE 2 PIES HAD MY HEART ALREADY ? I LOVE THEM SO MUCH , how they are so sassy and ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of the friendship that combined them . i just love how everyone is so protective of the other !!Mattias :my cutie naive person that did not betray my expectations of him without forgetting for sure wylan and jesper and how they were hilariously cute together and added more fun to the story .

Ladies and gentlemen pls it’s the proper time to discuss the main romance here : Okay i love slow burning romance and i hate insta-love shitty love triangles too .So this relationship had my heart ; my soul ; everything ughhhhh their scenes were so fucking emotional and let me weeping like an idiot .Their relationship is GOAL !! i can’t wait for them in the second book ugh!

“I want you to stay. I want you to … I want you.” “You want me.” She turned the words over. Gently, she squeezed his hand. “And how will you have me, Kaz?” He looked at her then, eyes fierce, mouth set. It was the face he wore when he was fighting. “How will you have me?” she repeated. “Fully clothed, gloves on, your head turned away so our lips can never touch?”“I will have you without armour, Kaz Brekker. Or I will not have you at all.”

Guys this scene , like i wanted him so badly to do something although his reaction was perfectly imperfect which is perfect *whutamisaying* !!! this just explain how kaz’s persona is so complex and explain pretty much how the things that endured before influenced on his emotions .

“Please, my darling Inej, treasure of my heart, won’t you do me the honor of acquiring me a new hat?”

OKAY i’m a sad potato right now !!! this ‘treasure of my heart ‘ melted my heart !

THE PLOT TWISTS WERE PERFECT AND TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE !! I LOVED EVERYTHING !!Especially the one about pekka rollins , i thought kaz killed him especially with the blood that was on his t shirt !! BUT IT TURNED OUT THAT KAZ WAS MORE SMARTY THAN THIS AND WANTED HIM BADLY TO SUFFER for what he’s done to HIS BROTHER JORDIE . i loved all the characters like even the villains even brum ; per haskel ; pekka rollins . they were so 3 dimensional… HOW LEIGH PORTRAYED THEM IS JUST PERFECT !

I adored the worldbuilding even more than the shadow and bone trilogy !! what are u waiting for just go read this bloody masterpiece !!
