Donna my client of 10 months, 2nd show of her competitive career placed 2nd in women’s physique. Every reps, every set, always trying to improve 📅 5-6 days per week consistency over months. 📍She has an uber supportive husband, ❤️ loves to 🚂 train 🔐She asks questions, open to learning & trying new and different training styles We prepped for her first show in 11 weeks. She had mid-Nov 2018 to mid Feb 2019, off to actually build and try on this new style of training, before we were in prep mode once again After much consideration she moved her show up one week to change federations & better accommodate her life schedule. First show 128-130lbs Second show: 132-134 lbs So at most 1lbs of muscle per each month she was actually building. 1/4lbs per week 🧱 Hard to track/measure week to week changes under this minimal measure 🔐 This is why people say trust the process-solid programming 🏡 , eat, work hard and wait (and good coaching 😉) 📝 Although we aim for first, IF we have done all we can during the prep, killed the presentation during the 📸 show, YOU can be satisfied with the outcome ♾no regrets Competing is a risk. Your chest is a major muscle group and should be trained as often as every other muscle group in your body, if you want to get stronger and more toned. ⁣ ⁣ I know, I know…you want to do legs and cardio all the time. But, they will create muscle imbalances. ⁣ ⁣ Muscle imbalances can lead to injuries..never mind the fact that your body will look unbalanced.
