#decembhyur2023 #decembhyur #this was kinda tricky to do and it may look wonky because oml chiron is a giant. achille is 6ft and he's still short next to him #but anyway: this is from chiron's pov up until the last one. he's remembering achille and how he grew up. does that count for memory #no i'm not crying my eyes are sweating #so my lore on these two changed a bit; chiron raised achille since infancy now. tauvane abandoned him much earlier #first pic is when he was a wee sickly baby after being rescued by chiron #2nd and 3rd pics are of him being a rambunctious (got caught playing in mud) and sweet lil boy #4th pic is when achille got attacked by tauvane. he's hurting physically and emotionally over her rejection and started acting out #5th pic is him after dyeing his hair in an attempt to distance himself from her. chiron is saddened but he can't do anything #6th and 7th pics are of them in the present :') #achille never knew his actual father but he considers chiron his dad without hesitation #and chiron never thought he would be a father but he loves his son to death #that's his babyyyy ough #q. #mygposes. #ffxivsnaps #gposers #ffxiv gpose #ffxiv oc #hyur

i hate when i try to research suicide methods that are as painless as possible, but most of the results are like "there's help to get". no there isnt!!!! stop lying ._.

So.... I am percolating over an idea.... and I wanted to know people's thoughts!! :0 I want to write a bllk fic and have the charas + reader use honorifics, something I've avoided doing before, but I figured it'd help convey character/rls nuances! Rather than writing things to reflect American/western (nick)naming conventions and honorifics, I think it might make more sense to use Japanese ones, instead.

I avoided Japanese honorifics before because I didn't want to misuse cultural terms, and because I didn't want to be cringe LOL. But as Chinese diaspora, I do enjoy reading Chinese charas using Chinese naming conventions and honorifics!! So, I thought I'd open it up and ask other people their thoughts ^^

(Comfortable is used here as in. Would you find the usage disrespectful? Would this actively disengage you from reading the fic? and so on!)

thinking about how the hadouken is the first step for disciplined ki control. How ryu's ki manifests similar to electricity and ken's manifests as fire. thinking about how blanka and birdie shares these affinities (lightning for blanka. fire for birdie), albeit undisciplined.

blanka—through constant consumption of electric eels and having to face the harsh jungles of Brazil—was able to manifest his ki as lightning. Birdie—thanks to prior wrestling experience, most likely frequenting bar fights, and already being a hot-headed individual—his ki naturally manifests as fire.

I have been really loving Fruits Basket so far, but I’m at the end of the show and I gotta be honest.......I’m not feeling some of these resolutions?

#mostly how the curse has been broken #it had such a massive build-up so I really thought the key to solving it will be dramatic #like Idk maybe they had to climb a mountain and search a labyrinth to find an old temple with wall-paintings that had the answer or somethig #basically something groundbreaking #but nope apparently the curse just.....wore off on its own? So boring #there's also Akito #that hoe doesn't have one redeemable bone in their body #yet the show is really dead-set on giving them a 2nd chance and for what? #like years of beating insulting tormenting and straight up attempt-murders can't be brushed to the side like that #then there's Yuki still being a Mary Sue #still easily beating up Kyo in a one-sided fight without any retaliation from him even at the very end #I just want see someone beat or read him just once #3 eps left but I'm sleepy.... #basically my biggest issue is how forced the happy ending is but lets see if they will do something to change my mind in these 3 eps #Fruits basket

Well that was... unsettling...

#ariaplays: isat #isat spoilers #bro i was like wondering where it was gonna go wrong at that part after i beat the king cuz i was like: aint no way its over yet? #and i was having such a good time talking to everyone cuz i thought siffrin gonna get killed by a trap after that room or smth #AND THEN! euphrasie just suddenly looked so devastated and the music got so distorted and she knew siffrin's name (how?) #and like oooooohhhh mygod what was that. and now im at act 3 back in the meadow and siffrin ououououghghgh....... #siffrin telling mira a lie bout a silly nightmare like i legit saw that split second timeframe in which he decided to just lie #ouououghghghg painful bro. painful. but the most painful part is that id have to beat the king again orz...... #it took me AWHILE to beat that guy. he killed me like TWICE with his hp down to the quarter and i refused to let that count to the loop #cuz i didnt wanna lose my bomb and yea sure tbf i couldve just equipped the memory for it but like-- siffrin's extra hp tho #and if it was possible to kill the king without having to loop and lose the bomb i crafted then id take that chance #it was a terrible experience tho. i had to exit the game itself to reload a save for that. first defeat happened cuz i THOUGHT #he'd only do that deadly attack ONCE and i had the shield on cooldown when he did it the 2nd time and uuuuggghhhh #2nd battle was the worst my rng during then was ASS everyone was in life support cuz the king kept BUFFING HIMSELF #and i couldnt use the shield cuz i cant count the turns. i dont even know how to and even if i could my memory cant keep up #and with the king buffing himself. the tears reducing my team's def. it was the worst possible combination like bro... #and now im in act 3 and gonna have to fight him again ouououuoghhghghghhg..... ill try and level up everyone before that fight then.... #everyone was at 50 by the king's fight (except for siff ofc he was at 59 i think?). i know i can get the others at 52 tho

This was definitely a patented Dramatic Bruce Moment. But also Alfred is willing to overlook basically any of Bruce's flaws, so really it's not surprising that he was down to accept vampirism.

In retrospect, it's kind of humorously tragic how resolutely unwilling Bruce was to extend Alfred the same courtesy in DC VS. Vampires.

#how is this possible #i was SO sure like 99% sure i failed this exam #i was devastated and i felt like i did so bad on it i was crying in my room 😅 #AND I GOT a B!!! ON IT OMG #like i'm so happy with that ofc!🥳🥳 i would have prayed for a D tbh #but how can you be so off??? #i don't get it #and this happened numerous times since i'm in uni #when i was in high school i usually knew when i failed and then i actually failed and when i did good #and i didn't yet fail anything in uni (which i actually studied for) and actually my grades are pretty good #(i failed 2 because some people told me that it's easy and they'd just try without studying and so did i ... i was fooled obv 😂🥲) #(they surely did study at least a bit and just said that but i took their word for it 🤦‍♀️ but anyway whatever i passed these 2nd try) #no but i'm baffled #the thing was i wrote some things there on the exam but i thought it's all wrong i was just taking guesses out of the possibilities #and also that i'm really bad at explaining i felt like and my writing was also kind of illegible #but i mean better this way than the other way around 🫠🥳 #but maybe i should save my tears until i actually get back exams in the future #if anyone knows the reason for this... or relates please let me know
