Guyssss I’ve just watched ‘’adventurer : the curse of the midas box’’ and I didn’t really like it for several reasons (I think the actor who played the hero was acting badly and it was kinda boring sometimes) BUT HEAR ME OUT.

Michael sheen really carried this movie, he played incredibly good and Will Charity is on top🔥 (THE EARRING, THE WINKS, I’M NOT OKAY.)

Also throughout the whole movie, I just thought WHAT IF aziraphale just popped across England, in the late 18s because he wanted to ✨investigate✨, dressed like that? (He has standards)

I mean, during the magic trick scene I just couldn’t think about anything but aziraphale😭

I can tell if, theoretically, I had watched this film at the age of 5, I would have had a huge crush on Will Charity

michaels recent reply on twitter has been pointed out that he used the same wording to describe his character as someone did in a fanfic of him and david

Oooh...that is very interesting indeed, Anon. So here is Michael’s tweet from the other day, for those who haven’t seen it:

And after a bit of digging, it seems the fic in question is a Will Charity/Phileas Fogg fic, with a bit of Aziraphale/Crowley thrown in (the full fic can be read on AO3 here).

The phrase in question appears to be “Artful Dodger,” which Michael mentioned in his tweet and was also used several times throughout the above-named fic. I think that in this particular case, this might just be a bit of a coincidence, as the Artful Dodger is a very well-known character in popular culture and Will Charity’s look clearly speaks to that, so that is probably a fairly common comparison.

BUT...I do still fully believe that Michael has read fanfic (hell, we know he actually has, at least for Good Omens). So I would also be very not surprised if he’s read certain stories featuring other characters of theirs, as I’ve talked in my previous posts about Michael reading (and possibly writing) RPF about him and David. Especially given, y’know...Michael going on the Graham Norton show last December and saying this:

At this point, I’m 96% sure Michael is going to make an allusion to a smutty RPF of him and David (either in an interview on the GO 2 press tour, or perhaps in one of his tweets). Not directly quoting it, but paraphrasing just enough that those of us who know will KNOW what he is talking about. (We’ll all promptly perish immediately after, of course, but what a way to go...)

I say this as someone who works at a nonprofit: the attitude “someone who has nothing will be grateful for anything” is harmful and dehumanizing when it’s used to justify donating something ripped, stained, or expired to someone less fortunate.

Homeless people deserve clothing with good structural integrity. Victims of house fires deserve linens that are free of stains. No one should have to eat expired food. It’s disrespectful to give people scraps when they’re already hurting.

Please, out of respect for your fellow humans, check the dates on your food donations before you drop them off.
