Don't think I ever talked about this, but it's time for my yearly spread and I might as well use this opportunity. So when I read, I don't pull cards. I work exclusively with cards flying out while shuffling. That's nothing revolutionary a lot of people do that. BUT I consider which way the cards flew out. Face up or face down? Face up cards I read as constants, while face down cards are variable, those events can be changed now that I'm aware of them. In other spreads I might read them as shadows/blockages. I always read the face up cards first, because I feel like it helps to not get overwhelmed by bigger spreads. Plus it puts a clear focus -in this case - on certain months of the year.

I don't usually do big spreads. 3-5 cards usually tells me all I need to know. But, it's Halloween and this spread has been dwelling in the back of my mind for a while now.

The Cups in this are so prominent. Over all, you're looking at emotion. Love, dreams, hopes and fears. Needs met, needs unsatisfied.

Hi, what are the decks youre using ?

Hello!

I'm using the Wild Unknown deck and the original Rider Waite deck.

The Wild Unknown is extremely blunt and VERY good at calling out anything suspicious. It is a little imbalanced, because a couple cards aren't very strong (specifically the 7 of Pentacles and the 5 of Cups), but overall it's a beautiful and meaningful deck.

Rider Waite considers itself to be "perfect" lol but it's a lot harder to read due to all the details and hidden meanings. It can take a lifetime of study to understand the RW deck.

Their energies are really different but I love them both :) .
