Daughter of Deadpool: Chapter Four
hey yeah im alive ig... enjoy the content
Master: Master List
Deadpool Bio!Dad: Master List
------------------------
When the trio walked into class the next day, everyone was standing around Lila as she’s crying. “Ohh, Lila why are you crying?” Marinette feigns innocence.
“Why are you being nice to me?” Lila sniffs, wiping her eyes.
“I’m always nice,” Marinette shrugs. She catches the glare Lila throws at her as she turns to go to her seat. Chloe and Alya following close behind.
“So why are you crying?” Rose asks, rubbing Lila’s back.
“Black Death threatened me last night, she put her katana to my throat,” Lila whimpers.
“Lila, I hate to tell you this, but Black Death doesn’t talk and I’m pretty sure just yesterday you said that Black Death was a guy, were you lying?” Rose asks, innocently.
“Class, Lila has a lying disorder so sometimes she gets mixed up with what she says,” Miss Bustier said before anyone else could say anything. “Now class is starting soon, everyone quiet down and take a seat.”
Marinette couldn’t help but smile at the semi-shocked face of her classmates.
During lunch, Lila was surrounded by her angry classmates. Adrien breaks the circle and steps by Lila. “Guys getting angry at her won’t change anything.”
Marinette left, she went home to see her mama and papa, she couldn’t stand to be around her classmates Alya and Chloe follow shortly behind her.
“God they’re just awful!” Chloe shouts, taking a seat at the table.
“Is it Lila again, dears?” Sabine says, entering the kitchen.
“Yeah she’s honestly the worst,” Alya says, laying her head down on the table.
“I can’t wait till graduation,” Marinette sighs, grabbing a glass from the cabinet.
“We haven’t talked about this a lot, do you guys have any plans after graduation?” Alya asks.
“I mean yeah I do, I want to maybe find my parents and just to do good-ish deeds,” Marinette shrugs. She heats up leftovers from the night before. “You guys alright with some homemade chinese food from last night?”
“Yeah, Mama Sabine makes the best food,” Alya says, grabbing herself a glass of water.
“Grab me one won’t you,” Chloe asks, filing her nails.
“Yeah, yeah whatever,” Alya says, rolling her eyes but pulls out a second glass for her.
They spend their lunch talking about what they want to do in their futures. When they went back to class it was awful, people were arguing some defending Lila others criticizing her. But no one apologized to Marinette for all the terrible things they said and did to her. She shouldn’t have expected anything different.
Before she knew it was time for graduation and she couldn’t be happier. She ranked top of her class and was asked to speak during the graduation.
“As we are now adults or going to be about to be adults, I’ve been asked to leave you all with some advice that should help you in the future. Life won’t always go your way and that’s fine because you have to be able to adapt to these changes. You have to overcome and prove that you’re stronger and better than the problem. While there have been problems in our pasts, it’s how we use our past to improve ourselves, go forth and live the best life you can,” Marinette says, faking a smile.
Later that night after the graduation party, she burnt down her symbol in the field that's on the outskirts of Paris, knowing the news would cover it. She hoped that maybe if her dad or her mom was alive they would see it and now she was alright. The very next day, Chloe, Alya and Marinette pack their bags and flew to America.

huh yep she’ll be in Gotham next chapter whenever that comes out

You Took all the Pillows
The Master: Master List
Prompt: Master List
----------------------------
All Marinette wanted to do was enjoy her movie night but things happened and the night turned out completely different than she originally thought. She decided to set up the living room with a blanket fort. This included taking all the blankets and pillows from her roommate.
When Damian had come home from patrol, exhausted, he walked into the flat and saw Marinette’s blanket fort he sighed.
“Hi, Marinette.”
“Hi, Dami!” Marinette says, popping her head out of the fort.
“I’m going to bed,” Damian says, walking down the hall. He opens the door and realizes his pillows and blankets are gone.
“Hey Marinette, where is all my bed stuff?” Damian says, walking back down the hall.
“Umm, I thought you were over at your family house tonight to be honest,” Marinette says, rubbing her neck. Damian crawls into the fort and puts his head in her lap.
“Wh.. what are you doing?” Marinette stutters, covering her face with her hands.
“Well you took my pillows, so now you’re my pillow,” Damian mutters, closing his eyes, not noticing the Marinette’s bright red face. After he falls asleep he can faintly feel his being played with and a faint humming. It reminds him of the childhood he wished he could’ve had.

I liked your headcanons for Marinette as Wade's kid, especially when she threatens Lila. Do you have any headcanon of "how would a encounter between Mari and (enter hero name) go", If it's one of those * Every superhero is in one world* i would love to see the batfam's reaction to her
Tumblr media
So I don’t really understand the enter hero’s name here but I can do a meeting of the Batman and Black Death? is that what I had.
Master List
Marinette being completely done with Lila’s crap after graduation. (She total reveals all of Lila’s lies and leaves her and the class like fish out of water.) She decides to reek chaos somewhere else for a while.
She moves to the most crime-ridden city in America.
She gets a job at a cafe near Gotham Uni, where she is attending college where she’s studying to be a ruthless businesswoman. (She looks innocent but she’ll threaten you with a smile.) She didn’t start her Black Death nightly job yet.
Tim stumbles across the cafe that Marinette works at. He drags all his siblings there, and it’s a weekly thing.
Damian secretly comes back. (His siblings totally know.)
They’re happy that the Demon has a crush. Later becoming his girlfriend.
She’s only been in Gotham for a month but she decided she settled enough to start her not heroing.
Bruce doesn’t like Black Death. He hates that there’s a hero working on their turf.
Dick thinks that she’s a bit too inappropriate but gets a laugh after patrols when Bruce isn’t around.
Jason loves her, he thinks she’s the best thing to happen to Gotham in a while. He’s told Bruce many times that Black Death just lightens the mood so much.
Tim has tried to find out who Black Death is because Bruce is just so pissy over her. Tim enjoys her jokes but thinks she overdoes it.
Damian thinks she’s childish but finds that she’s passionate about her job even though she doesn’t always follow the no-killing rule. She also flirts with Robin a lot.
One day Damian walked in on Marinette dressed as Black Death but ya know with her mask off.
She reveals that she knew that he was Robin ever since their first meeting and was interacting with them (especially Robin) so they would be use to both sides of her.
The rest of the Batfam don’t believe Damian at first and it wasn’t until she’s hurt as Black Death that they believe him.
Y’all wanna read more? Ask me more, I’ll answer.

No More Second Chances: Chapter Four
So as I promised, here it is. I’m a person of my word... enjoy. salt and chaos
Master: Master List
No More Second Chances
---------------------------------------------
She was woken up to multiply phone calls from Adrien. “You realize I’m five hours behind you, why are you calling me this early?” Marinette said groggily into the phone.
“I sent you a video, I’m going to be in my room if you want to,” Adrien said before hanging up. Marinette sighed, and opened the link. She proceeded to cry. Not even thirty second later, Jon appeared in the doorway. He found Marinette in full tears, her phone playing a video on her bed, and her digging through her draw.
“Marinette, are you ok?” Jon asks, looking at the girl in bewilderment.
“I’m sorry for waking you, but I have to go!” Marinette says, quickly opening the Miracle Box.
“What’s that?” He asks, approaching the distressed girl.
“I’ll explain everything later,” Marinette said, standing as she placed the box on her bed beside her phone. She opened the smaller box she had taken from the big box. As she opened it, a blinding light emitted throughout the room.
“What the actual-”
“Miss Marinette, are you ready for action,” Kaalki said, looking at the young guardian earnestly.
“What the heck is that thing!” Jon asks, taking a couple steps forward.
“I am no thing! I am a demi-godess!” She says, looking down on the boy.
“Like I said Jon I’ll explain later, I have to go to London and Paris, I’ll be back by lunch! Kaalki! Transform me!” Marinette said, letting the familiar feeling of the transformation cover her. She picks up the Miracle Box.
“One normal person, that's all I ask,” Jon sighs before snapping out of stupor to watch his unofficial sister open a portal. Before he knew it, the portal closed, leaving her in the dark. He looked over at Marinette’s phone, which was playing a video. He picked up the phone and restarted the video. It was of a big mustache man and petite asain woman they were talking to in french before the video cut to a dark pink room. There was a flash of light similar to the one that just happened but in pink.  “Mom! Dad!”
In London with Marinette, she broke down crying into Adrien’s hug. “I’m such a mess up, I first revealed myself to my parents, then to Jon, and now everyone knows,” Marinette cried.
“They’re doing an interview later if you want to bomb it,” Adrien smirks, as he rubs her back. “You could finally reveal everything, you could clear your name, and right the wrongs that were made against you.”
“Noir what even was that wording?” She sniffles with a little giggle.
“It’s early, ok? Hey at least I got a laugh out of you,” Adrien said, with a groan.
“Adrien it’s time to leave,” Felix said, opening the door. “Marinette.” He nods.
“I’ll be out in a minute Fe,” Adrien says. “Their interview is at the tower, it starts at nine, stay here and get ready if you need to. I have to go to school, but remember I’m proud of you, you’re strong, and we are partners through this all.”
“Will you come to the interview as Chat Noir?” Marinette sniffles, looking up at her blonde friend.
“I’ll have to talk to my aunt, but I think that can be arranged,” Adrien says, leaving the room. A minute later, she heard the door reopen.
Marinette wipes her tears, and says. “That was fast, what did she say?” She then looked up, it wasn’t Adrien, it was Felix.
“I heard the video earlier, I’m sorry for trying to force myself onto you,” Felix says, sitting beside her.
“Apologizing doesn’t make it right, but I accept your apology. Did you learn not to do that again?” She asks, he nods his head. “Then we’re good.”
“Marinette I got permi--,” Adrien says, opening  the door. He looks to the bed and pauses. “Do you guys need a minute?”
“No we finished our conversation,” Felixa said, standing. “Good luck with the interview today.”
“Thank you, Felix,” Adrien said with a nod. “Do you need to do anything?”
“I need to wash my face, and maybe wear something that isn’t pajamas,” Marinette says with a laugh.
“I'll go ask Aunt Emelia if you can look through her closet,” Adrien said, leaving her to compose herself. Next thing she knows, she is looking through a closet of clothes, most of them appropriate for a fancy setting. She found the closest thing she could dress down in, a white fitted blouse, and a black tube scalloped skirt. She washed her face and tied her hair up in a princess bun using a red ascot. She took one last look in the mirror as Adrien said. “Ready to go? It’s eight-fifty.”
“Yes, I want to make a dramatic entrance so we're gonna wait a bit ok?” Marinette says, putting on her glasses. They walk through the portal and Marinette transforms into Ladybug and watches the interview on Adrien’s phone.
“So where is your daughter today?” Nadia asked a couple of minutes into the interview.
“She’s in the states doing an exchange program,” Sabine said with a smile.
“Do you know if she likes it there?”
“I don’t know, we haven’t talked to her since we told her about it,” Tom says, sheepishly.
“Did she want to go?”
“I mean we told her that she had the option to stay here in Paris,” Sabine said.
“Are you trying to say that Ladybug no longer wanted to be in Paris?” Nadia asks, shocked. Before Sabine or Tom could answer, Chat Noir and Ladybug land on set.
“I feel like that question is more directed to me,” She says walking into view of the camera.
“Someone get them seats!” a shout came off screen. Marinette drops her transformation, Tikki immediately hiding. After seats were taken, Marinette decided to answer the question.
“I, originally, didn’t want to leave and thought it was unfair because of the reason I was being sent to America,” Marinette pauses, her parents’ eye watering. “Some of my old classmates decided to approach my parents and tell them that I was bullying a girl. Sabine and Tom believed them over me and didn’t bother to listen to my side of the story. They only asked me to stay once they found out I was Ladybug.”
“We still want you to come home,” Sabine said, tears falling down her face.
“Mom you took away the only place I felt safe, you believed someone you didn’t know over me and ridiculed me over it,” Marinette said quickly. “I’m going home, it's just not here in Paris anymore. Now that’s everything I wanted to say, I’ve got to get to school, I promised someone I would be there.” She said, standing. “Also Lila Rossi, I’m not your best friend, never have, never will be. You made my life hell, I was almost akumatized because of you. I hope you enjoy your sheep, I don’t want them. Let’s go Chat.”
“Wait! What’s your relationship status?”
“Seriously? He’s like a brother to me, Noir, its now or never,” Marinette said, looking at her partner.
“I wasn’t in your corner when you needed me, but I’m here now,” Chat said, detransforming. “Umm… hi!”
“This amazing sunshine is the closest thing I have to family now,” Marinette says, firmly. “Don’t give him crap over his father. His father is not him. Adrien worked his butt off to get to where he is today. If I hear otherwise, you’ll deal with me.”
“Let’s go.” Adrien said, leaving behind chaos.

No More Second Chance: Chapter 8
So this a short, long-awaited, chapter eight... umm sorry that this took a hot minute to come out due to school. Also the writing style is a touch different cuz I’m in school and different expectations ya know...
The Master: Master List
No More Second Chance: Master List
-------------------------------------
Marinette woke up to her, alone in a bed, which was weird considering she could have sworn she was hugging someone. She shrugged it off, chalking it up to lack of sleep. With a yawn, she rolls out of bed, realizing that she was wearing her clothes from yesterday, she hops in the shower and then changes her clothes before heading downstairs to see everyone.
“Good morning!” Marinette greets with a smile as she takes her seat in between Damian and Jon.
“The sleepy heads are together again,” Jason coos from across the table with a huge grin spread across his face.
“What does he mean?” Marinette asks, looking at Jon. Before Jon is able to answer Damian is already talking. “Don’t worry about it, he’s just being an imbecile.”
Marinette just shrugs and ignores the side comments thrown her way. She doesn’t remember whatever they were teasing her about so she’s not going to let it bother her. By the end of breakfast though, it was mildly annoying. “What are you guys talking about?” Marinette pouts.
“You don’t remember?” Jason exclaims from across the table.
“Remember what?” Marinette asks.
“You grabbed-” Dick started before Damian jumped across the table and tackled him.
“Don’t worry about it, let’s just go to school,” Jason says, standing up before he drags her away from the table and chaos.
“But it’s Saturday, Jay,” Marinette says, letting herself be dragged away.
“Oops did  I say school I meant, umm there’s a good umm bakery in the city we should go eat at,” Jason says, as they leave the manor
“Umm ok, Jay,” Marinette says. When they get outside, Jason tosses her a helmet before he climbs on his motorcycle.
It didn’t take long to get to the bakery (he totally wasn’t speeding), when they got there, Marinette got hot chocolate, she didn’t care that it was spring, and Jason ordered a tea, it’s been helping him stay calm. They ordered some sweets and then they walked over to a nearby park. When they finished eating, Marinette asked if they could to a nearby museum for inspiration, which Jason agreed to.
Honestly going to the museum was a mistake and Marinette realized that as she sat with her hands behind her back. Jason was nowhere to be seen, and Joker was staring her down.
“Well, Frenchie, you shouldn’t have done that, there would’ve been more subjects, but I guess you’ll do,” he monologues, thinking back on it, she would sacrifice herself for them all again. She had distracted the goons, letting all the rest of the hostages escape, which included Jason.
She tried to struggle as Joker approached, but there’s only so much a tied-up person can do. Before the Joker can touch her, she feels like she flying, well that’s because she was flying across the room in someone’s arms. She was then through the skylight still in the person’s arms.
“I’ll be back,” the person said before dropping back down into the room. She looks around, she was quite a ways off the ground. She sees, who she assumes, is some more of the batfam pullup to the scene.
“What are you doing on the roof?”
She turns to see Robin behind her. “Someone, one of your partners I’m going to guess, got me out of there before Joker could get too close,” Marinette explained
Robin wordlessly moves forward, she takes a step back. “I’m just going to bring you down onto the ground,” he explains, stopping his steps. She nods and takes a step forward, she lets herself be held as he jumps down into the side of the museum.
When the Joker was dragged out, he looked a lot worse than he had been after past fights. “Are you ok?” Jon asks from behind her.
“How’d you get here? I thought you were with the Waynes,” Marinette asks.
“I came to deal with the Joker,” Jon shrugs.
“I can’t find Jason, he left with the rest of the hostages.”
“You sacrificed yourself?”
“I mean yeah… at least have some sort of training, it’s better than civilians getting put in danger,” Marinette shrugs.
“Who got you off the roof, Hood said you were up there but when I checked I saw you down here,” Jon asks.
“Just Robin,” Marinette shrugs.
“He’s a good friend of mine, isn't that cool?” Jon smiles.
“Yeah, he doesn’t seem like the type to have lots of friends though, so I guess you’re lucky.”
“Yeah, he’s super grumpy.”
“Seems a lot like Damian and his family,” Marinette says nonchalantly.
“Yeah-- I mean no… the Waynes have a better relationship,” Jon says, correcting himself.
“Sure, Jon, just so you know you suck at lying,” Marinette says, turning towards the Batfam. Robin notices her stare and approaches her.
“We need your statement,” Robin says, holding out his arm. She takes his arm and lets herself be lead towards the policemen. She tells her story.
“If we didn’t have video proof, I don’t think I would have trusted you,” the policeman chuckles walking around the car, before getting in and driving away.
“Do you need help getting home?” Robin asks, noticing that not only was his family gone, but Jon was gone as well.
“No, I think I think I’m fine,” Marinette says, turning around to were Jon had been. “Nevermind, my brother left me.”
“Let’s go get on my bike then,” Robin says, leading her to the side of the building. She giggles as she gets on the back of his bike, they drive away the wind flowing in her hair.

I Only Have Eyes for You
A quick Daminette blind!Mari Au with a twist at the end. I hope you enjoy! Go check out my other stories after you finish reading.
------------------------------------------
"I'm so sorry," Marinette said, brushing herself off as she stood up.
"Watch where you are going next time!" a  deep voice angrily exclaimed before she heard his footsteps rush off in front of her.
"Marinette! That was so rude why would you draw attention to yourself like that!" Alya exclaimed.
"Well I'm sorry that you all didn't want me to draw attention to my cane, none of you warned me!" Marinette said back. (Ok quick explanation, needed a reason why Marinette didn't have her cane out.)
"Whatever, pay more attention next time," Alya muttered.
"How would you like me to do that?" Marinette asked, leaning to one side.
"I had a friend who overcame her blindness, they did a transplant on her eyes," Lila spoke up, 'attempting' to break the tension.
"Ya because that sounds realistic," Marinette mummers to herself.
"Because it's not realistic," Chloe said, rejoining the group, she had gone to grab Marinette's cane from the bus.
"You've just never heard of it, the doctors probably never told your parents so you wouldn't get your hopes up. I mean you're not too rich," Lila pointed out.
"Girls calm down, it's time to begin our tour," Ms. Bustier said, walking back from the front desk.
"Hello, Francis DuPont, welcome to Wayne Enterprises. I'm your tour guide, Richard," The tour guide greets. *Insert Lila lying and normal field trip shenanigans here (if requested will write later) * "I hope to see you all at the celebratory gala at the end of the week, please enjoy your stay here in Gotham."
She was tired of her class, she convinced Chloe to take her to the nearest park so she could hear the sounds to hopefully inspire her in her next song. She has been practicing with the help of Uncle Jagged with writing, well someone writing down, songs and singing them. Uncle Jagged thinks she has potential.
Chloe had left Marinette for a couple of minutes to grab ice-cream, they both deserve it after putting up with Lila and her sheep. She hears footsteps approaching her that sounding similar to Chloe's when she wears shoes, not high heels like today, (she's not very used to Chloe's footstep when there not in heels, sue her).
"Hey, Chloe what ice-cream did you end up getting?" She asked, facing the footsteps.
"Wait you're blind! Why didn't you have your cane earlier?" The voice, definitely not Chloe's, asked approaching her.
"Are you the guy from earlier, the one I ran into?" Marinette asks, avoiding his question.
"Ahh... Yes. Sorry about the 'watch where you're going' that was incredibly insensitive, even for me," he responded.
"Don't worry about," Marinette says, nonchalantly. "I'm Marinette."
"Hi, Marinette, my name is Damian," he responds. "So why are you alone in the park in the most crime-ridden city in America."
"Why? You trying to kidnap me?" Marinette answers with a giggle. "I'm waiting for my friend to get back."
"What have I told you about not talking to strangers, especially ones that look dark and angsty," Chloe says, walking up with two ice-creams in her hands.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Chloe. I forgot to ask, 'hey, Person, I've never met before, are you dark and angsty? If so by my dear friend Chloe's rules, I'm not allowed to speak with you' because I can totally trust someone's answer," Marinette says sarcastically.
"I'm the sarcastic one! You're supposed to be the sweet angel, who is sometimes terrifying," Chloe wines, placing Mari's cone in her hand.
"Whatever you say, Bee. Damian this is Chloe, Chloe this is Damian. Ya know the person I supposedly 'made a scene over'." Marinette said.
"Nice to meet you, Chloe, I should be off, I don't want to disturb you both anymore and my father will call me soon for a meeting," Damian says, standing. He turns to Marinette and says. "I hope to meet you again." Before he exited the park.
"How... you can't even see how hot he is," Chloe complains, slouching beside Marinette.
"Chloe, ya know looks don't matter to me because it's what's on the inside that counts," Marinette says a smile on her face, already knowing how Chloe would respond.
"Plus you're blind so you don't have to worry about how they look," Chloe snickers before checking her watch. "If you want time to walk around the store a bit before dinner, we should get ready to go."
"Cool, let's go then, I promised Mama something I need your eyes to help me," Marinette said, standing up. She tucked her cane away and let Chloe lead her to the shopping district.
The finished shopping, Marinette got her Mama some homemade tea from one of the small business, and a fun new apron. (I'm not funny, so I'm not going to attempt to come up with something clever.) They got back to the hotel with enough time to get ready for dinner. Marinette put on an outfit, with the help of Chloe, high waisted black ripped jeans, a white lace tank crop top, and a pink mid-thigh cardigan, paired together with a silver moon necklace. (idk, it be 1:30). The bus surprisingly didn't leave without her, which she was happy about. The dinner was phenomenal and she has hopes for a good rest of her night, that was until she went to the bathroom and found out her group left without her. She sighs, pulls out her flip phone (I'm like 98.9% sure blind people can't use smartphones.) and dials Chloe's number.
"I tried to get Bustier to wait for you, but little miss liar lied and said you were already on the bus," Chloe explained.
"It's fine... I need a walk anyways, see you later," Marinette said, hanging and putting her phone on silent and exits the restaurant. Not too long after she hears light footsteps touch the ground.
"Miss do you need help getting back to where you are staying? You know this is the most crime-ridden city in the world," A somewhat familiar voice comes from behind her.
"Seriously Damian we're back to Miss?" Marinette laughs.
"Robin, I told you to stay on the roof," another voice comes from landing beside them.
"Damian, you're friends with Richard? He was my tour guide earlier," Marinette adds.
"Umm yes, I'm Damian's brother," Dick said. "You can call me Dick though."
"Hi, Dick, my name is Marinette," She says, holding out her hand in his voice's direction, which he grabs and shakes. She scrunches her nose at the feeling of leather. "Why are you wearing gloves? It's not that cold out."
"Oh I'm a germaphobe," Dick answered quickly.
"Oh I'm sorry, I should be getting back to the hotel," Marinette said, turning her back ti were their voices where.
"Let me walk you ok? Where's your cane?" Damian asks.
"Well Chloe was here with me earlier, so I had put it away in her purse. The class left me behind though, so I was just going to walk home,"
"Wait you're blind? You didn't have a cane earlier as well," Dick asks.
"Oh, that is literally nothing. People think I use it to seek attention," Marinette said. "Damian, can you help me find my hotel?"
"Yea, sure, umm... what hotel are you staying at?" Damian asks. "You can hold on to my arm if it would help you."
"Ok, thank you, I'm staying at Wayne Hotel," Marinette said, grabbing the crook of his elbow.
"See you later, you guys. Call me when you're down, I'll let Brucie know what's happening," Dick said his voice trailing off as they walk off in opposite directions. They walk in silence and when they get to the hotel Marinette squeezes his hand.
"Thanks for walking me, Damian," Marinette said, smiling while looking in where she thinks his face is.
"Bye Marinette, don't be left alone again, people aren't always as nice as me," He snickers. "Good night."
"Night, Dami," Marinette says. as the door opens.
"Marinette! I'm so happy you're ok!" Chloe said, hugging Marinette. She then smacked her arm. "Don't hang up on me again!"
"I'm fine Chloe," Marinette said.
"Thank you so much, Robin! I didn't know how she was going to get back without her cane," Chloe exclaimed. "What have I told you about talking to strangers, even heroes."
"Heroes?" Marinette mutters to herself. "I'm sorry Chloe. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be safe with one of Gotham's heroes."
"I'm messing, come on," Chloe says, grabbing Marinette's arm. "Night Robin."
"Ya night Robin," Marinette says confused. When Marinette gets to her and Chloe's room, she sits on the balcony with hopes of Da-- Robin dropping by. Not too long after she stood outside she heard someone land being her. "Chloe, I'm going to be writing, you can go to bed, I'll be in a bit later." She heard Chloe confirm. "So you're Damian and Robin."
"And you figured it with only meeting me three times, you figured out Grayson with only two times. You know you can't tell anyone," Robin said.
"Well I don't see the difference between you guys, I can only hear the similarities in your voices," Marinette explained. "I wouldn't tell anyone, I understand to have secrets."
"What do you mean?" Robin asks.
"Well for the past couple of years, there had been an akuma problem in Paris," Marinette said.
"What's an akuma and how were they a problem?"
"A villain named Hawkmoth terrorized the city by using their negative emotions against, a hero team named Ladybug and Chat Noir rose to meet the terrorist," Marinette sighed.
"How come no one had mentioned this?" Robin asks,  leaning on the railing beside her.
"Tourists weren't allowed to enter Paris as much and no international news was allowed to do reports. The mayor wanted to keep the whole thing under wraps and we didn't include the Justice League because we realized that people with extra training and sometimes powers would be too hard to take down," Marinette explained.
"What do you mean 'we'?" Robin asks, studying Marinette's face the moonlight highlighting her hair making it more blue than normal along with accenting her cheekbones.
"My partner, Chat Noir, and I, well just me now," Marinette said, putting her head in hands.
"You were Ladybug?" Robin asks in disbelief. "Not to sound rude, but how did you manage to do that with your condition."
"While being Ladybug, the magic let me see. They were the best times of my life besides the fact of Hawkmoth. But because of being Ladybug, I was able to see my parents' faces and see the beautiful world. All good things come to an end though, Master Fu took my earrings and Chat Noir's ring and ran away," Marinette accounted a tear slipping down her cheek. "Now I know what I'm missing out on, and there is almost nothing I wouldn't give to see again."
"Why are you telling me this?" Robin asks, looking out over the city.
"Because no one will believe you and I needed someone to talk to who would understand."
"What about Chat Noir?"
"He's gone, his father killed him and there was nothing I could do," Marinette responding full-on tears streaming down her face now.
"Alfred told me the best way to comfort someone, who is distressed, is to hug them. Do you need a hug?" Robin said, standing up straight.
"Please, he promised he would have my back, but he left me here to deal with the aftermath of Hawkmoth and my class," Marinette said into his shoulder
"Does it have anything to do with your class leaving you behind?" Robin asks, rubbing small circles into her back.
"One girl turned them all against me Adrien tried to help me but her lies were just too convincing. They say I bully her and I lie about everything. They took my cane earlier because they didn't want me to draw attention to myself, that's why I ran into you earlier."
"I was rude earlier which was bad in my part especially since you fell," he said quietly.
"No it was my fault for running into you, I'm just happy we're both ok," Marinette smiled, breaking the hug. She leans against the railing again with Robin following not too long after.
"You said something about writing earlier, what was that about?" Robin asks.
"I write and sing songs," Marinette says.
"Any songs I would know?"
"I don't know, but I sing and write with my uncle Jagged a lot."
"Would you sing?" he whispers almost inaudibly.
"I haven't sung in front of many people, and Chloe is right you're still a stranger," Marinette says with a giggle.
"I bet you have a lovely voice," Robin says. "But you don't have to, I won't force you to do anything that would make you uncomfortable."
"I will but give me a moment, I want you to be brutally honest because no matter how I love my family and friends they won't tell me if I'm bad," Marinette whispers. "I'm only going to sing the chorus I haven't figured out the rest." (not my song In My Head by the Bedroom. Highly recommend, underrated song.)
It consumes my mind
It consumes my soul
It wants my life it wants complete control
Somebody help me before it's bad
Somebody help me before I end up dead
I feel alone, all of the time
It's still quite, lurking inside
"I was right, the voice of an Angel," he says, breathlessly.
"Robin, time to go, have a good night Miss," Dick says, dropping onto the balcony.
"Night Damian, Dick," Marinette says, walking towards the door.
Now Dick and Damian stood on the rood of the hotel. "So you want to explain how she knows who both of our identities?" Dick asked his arms crossed across his chest.
"She recognizes our voices after her friend pointed out that I was Robin she put two and two together," Damian says uninterested.
"Besides knowing your name and that you are Robin, does she know that you are Damian Wayne," Dick asks.
"No, I don't think she does," Damian answer. "Now that we're done gossiping, can we go back to the manor?"
"You gonna tell Brucie," Dick asks, standing.
"I mean it is kinda important," Damian shrugs before running in the direction of the manor.
At the end of the week at the gala, Marinette wore a floor-length off the shoulder red dress the skirt of the dress looks like a flower. She loved the feel of the smooth fabric, Chloe said that the color complimented her skin. She was sitting at a table with Chloe when she heard the almost familiar footstep of Damian.
"Nice try Damian, I can tell you are there," Marinette smiled.
"Well, I wasn't trying to sneak up on you, because if I was trying you wouldn't have heard me," Damian says quietly."I was coming to see if you wanted to dance."
"That would be lovely, I'm not too good at dancing," Marinette says.
"I'll lead, I'll make sure that you are comfortable," Damian reassures.
"I trust you," Marinette says, letting herself be lead out to the middle of the floor. "So tell me more about you, all I know is that you have a night job. How old are you because you sound on the younger side to me."
"I'm about to turn twenty in the upcoming month," Damian says.
"I just turned eighteen. What do you want to do in the future?"
"I help run my father's company, I know you want to be a singer," Damian asks, spinning her.
"That's true. What company does your father run?"
"He owns and runs Wayne Enterprises."
"That means you're a Wayne? Is it your choice that you want to work at WE or is it being forced onto you?"
"It's my choice."
"Does it bring you happiness?"
"Yes," Damian says pressing his forehead to hers as the song ends.
"Then that's all that matters then," Marinette says,
"Oh my god! Dick wasn't lying!" A voice screams with fast-approaching footsteps following. Marinette turns to the voice's direction. "How'd you get someone so adorable?"
"Jason! I told you to-- he wasn't lying!?" another voice says, coming from the same direction.
"Marinette, meet my other two of my adopted brothers," Damian said. "The first one is Jason and the second one is Tim."
"We're numbers now? What happened to us being people?" Jason whines.
"You're bothering me," Damian said.
"Damian, be nice to your sibling, I bet they're lovely to have around," Marinette says, playfully smacking his arm.
"Well, then I would win that bet," Damian snickers.
"Well it's nice to meet someone that can stand being around Demon Spawn," Jason says.
"Are you guys dating? Dick said you guys were and that Damian calls you Angel," Tim asks.
"We're not dating," Damian says.
"He has not called me Angel, but he compared my singing voice to one," Marinette responds.
"I forgot to tell you that there was no way the Jagged was complimenting you to be nice. You have a heavenly voice," Damian says, kissing her hand.
"Jagged... like Jagged Stone, Jagged?" Tim asked, squeezing in between her and Damian.
"There are a lot of people with Jagged in the world, what makes you think I'm talking about Jagged Stone?" Marinette asks, speaking towards the spot where Tim had been standing.
"Well, is it him?"
"Yes, it is him, but--" Marinette said now looking on Tim's direction.
Tim screams. "Seriously! You're his prodigy?"
"More like his niece but prodigy works," Marinette explains.
"That's awesome, can I have an autograph?"
"I don't know when I'll see Uncle Jagged again, but--" Marinette starts.
"No from you, your voice is calming and helps me focus on my work," Tim says.
"Umm, sure!"
"After she signs it, will you leave us alone?"
"Yes, we'll leave you two love birds alone," Jason said, grabbing Tim's arm.
"They seem nice," Marinette said.
"They can be but they are a bit overbearing," Damian said, pulling her into another dance.
"It's nice to have people support you in their own unique ways," Marinette said. They dance in silence at one point Marinette almost falls Damian pull her close.
"You're adorable when you blush," Damian says, lifting her chin so he could get a good view of her face.
"That's not fair, I can't see if you're blushing," Marinette pouts. "Can I feel face?"
"Why?"
"You don't have to, but feeling is like seeing for me along with other blind people," Marinette said, quickly.
"Umm... do you want to go out to the garden so it's quieter?"
"Ummm ok," Marinette said, letting Damian take her to the garden. Damian leads her to the nearest bench. Marinette puts her hands in his. "I don't want to jab your face can you?" Before she finishes, he takes her hands and places them on his face. "Don't worry I recently washed my hands."  Damian chuckles. She runs her fingers over his jaw and cheekbone. "What color are your eyes?"
"Jade green, I also have black hair, and tan skin," Damian says.
"You're handsome... umm I mean you have strong facial features...?" Marinettes stutters.
"You're beautiful as well. Thank you, Angel," Damian says, kissing her forehead. “Will you come to dinner at the Manor tomorrow night?”
“That would be lovely, but I can’t be out too late, we are leaving the day after tomorrow,” Marinette said.
The next day leading up to dinner with the Waynes was uneventful besides some of Lila’s normal lies about Marinette and fabulous stories about her old famous friends that she ran into without anyone else around. She couldn’t help but smile at the thought of seeing Damian again. Sure she had been less willing to let herself be open ever since Lila and the loss of Adrien, who had stood with her.
She got dressed in a white tank crop top with a pink floral pattern, a high waisted skater skirt, and paired with white converse. Chloe helped her, obviously, she said that Marinette looked appropriately dressed.
“Thanks, Chloe, I’m going to head downstairs. Damian said he would be here at 5:30,” Marinette said, hugging her.
“Well it’s 5:25 you should hurry,” Chloe said pushing her out the door.
“Oh crap! Bye Chloe!” Marinette said, rushing down the hall to the elevator. As she ran out of the elevator she heard the lobby doors open.
“Marinette, did you just run down here? Where’s your cane?” Damian asks, approaching the girl.
“Hey aren’t you the boy that danced with Marinette yesterday?” Lila’s voice came from what Marinette remembers to be the sitting area.
“If I am, why does it matter to you?” Damian growls.
“Because she’s a bully,” Alya’s voice came from near where she heard Lila.
“I don’t what you’re talking about, she’s sweet, kind, even after I was rude to her and incredibly strong,” Damian said, taking Marinette’s hand.
“She forgets her cane on purpose for attention,” Lila states.
“No, from what I was told, you complained that her cane was bringing her too much attention. The cane is what helps her see,” Damian says. “Come on, Angel, Alfred is waiting.”
“Thanks, Dami,” Marinette says. As they get into the back of the car Marinette says. “You know you didn’t have to do that, they stopped affecting me months ago.”
“Just because I didn’t have to doesn’t mean I didn’t want to,” Damian says, kissing her hand.
“Thank you Dami,” Marinette said, a pink blush spreading across her cheeks.
“You’re adorable,” Damian said.
“Now Master Damian, I know I raised you better than that,” Alfred said from the front.
“Pennyworth, this is Marinette, Marinette this is Alfred our butler and unofficial official grandfather,” Damian said.
“It’s nice to meet you Monsieur!” Marinette says enthusiastically.
“Miss Marinette, if I may be so bold, where is your cane?” Alfred asks.
“Ummm I didn’t realize you knew, but I ran out of the hotel room without it,” Marinette said.
“Hey, Mari I don’t think I ever got your number. May I have it so we can stay in touch once you leave?” Damian asks, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Oh yeah!” Marinette says, taking out her phone. “Sorry I can text because they haven’t exactly made a smartphone for blind people yet.”
“We can skype,” Damian offers, putting his number in her phone. Before she recites her to him and he names her contact Angel.
“Of course!” Marinette says as they pull up to the Manor.
“There are seven steps coming up, I’ll let you know when there are left by squeezing your hand,” Damian says quietly, respecting her wishes to not use her cane. As they get close to the top, as Damian promised, he squeezed her hand. Alfred opened the door to reveal the rest of the Wayne family.
“This is Marinette,” Damian says. “Marinette this is my family”
“My father, Dick, Tim, Jason, and you already met Alfred,” Damian said, pausing for each of them to say hi in between each introduction.
“Well dinner is ready if you would like to follow me to the dining room,” Alfred said.
“Alfred made Shepherd's Pie,” Damian said, pulling Marinette’s seat out for her.
“That’s lovely, thank you for having me by the way Mr. Wayne,” Marinette said, picking up her fork.
“It’s my pleasure, please call me Bruce,” he said.
Dinner went on fine until Jason realized something, Marinette never looked directly at anyone she always looked slightly to the side or a bit above whoever was speaking.
“Marinette, are you blind?” Jason asks.
“Jason! That’s very rude,” Dick says.
“No it’s a valid question, I am in fact blind,” Marinette said.
“You’re very independent,” Bruce notes.
“Well I don't like being seen just for my disability or for being weak because of my blindness,” Marinette explains.
“Angel, no one would think that,” Damian said. “You’re incredible.”
“Thanks, Dami.”
“So Marinette you know our identities, do you plan to keep them?” Tim says.
“Of course,” Marinette answered.
“She used to be a hero,” Damian said. “Ladybug, the hero of Paris.”
“I saw a video of a battle, how were you able to defeat the akuma?” Dick asks.
“Well, I used to have a kwami, her name is Tikki, she gave me sight while I was transformed,” Marinette explained. “But sadly, Master Fu took back my earrings along with Chat’s ring and disappeared.”
“How do we know you're telling the truth?” Jason asked, receiving a smack from Damian. “Hey! It’s a valid question!”
“I’ve seen the footage, they look the same,” Dick says.
“From what I’ve heard, I have scars up and down my back from the countless akuma attacks,” Marinette explained. “And because I was supposed to become the next guardian and I was the holder of the ladybug miraculi, I have with the Miraculi mark.” She then bent her leg to show the mark on her ankle.
“Ms. Marinette speaks the truth, I have the mark of the peacock miraculi,” Alfred said.
“Adri-- Chat Noir had the same mark.”
“Before he went missing you mean,” Dick cuts in.
“Not missing, Gabriel, his father, and Hawkmoth, killed him before he realized it was his son,” Marinette explained.
The conversation moved into a brighter topic after that. When it was time to leave Damian decided to drive her back to her hotel. He walked her to the lobby.
“Be my girlfriend?” Damian asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
“I would love to!” Marinette said, hugging him. She went up on tip-toes and kissed his cheek. “Bye Damian, I’ll count the minutes till I see you again.”
“I’ll see you off to the airport tomorrow,” Damian said, kissing the crown of her head.
(Sorry for the skips, I just wanna get to the part that the whole story has been building to.) Their relationship didn’t falter with distance after Marinette graduated, she moved to the states to attend Gotham Academy. Uncle Jagged promised her parent to check up on her him being in America for recording and shows. Not too long after they graduated college Marinette became a hit as Nettie. Damian proposed to her on the date of her debut. They got married on their fifth anniversary of dating. A year later they had their first son Thomas Adrien Wayne-Dupain.
On Thomas’ second birthday, Damian prepared a surprise.  “Not too much longer Angel, just a couple more steps.”
“Today on the show we have Marinette Dupain-Cheng-Wayne or as most of you know her as Nettie,” the hostess says. “What most of you all don’t know is that she is blind. Nettie, will you give a wave to the crowd?”
She waves and whispers to Damian. “I might murder you, why are we here?”
Damian just chuckles, kisses her head, and says “Don't worry it’s about to get better.”
“So not too long ago, I reached out to Damian Wayne, her husband, to bring her onto the show so we can we have her reaction for a first time using E-Sight.” At that Marinette hugs Damian, and whispers graciously.
“So today is our son’s second birthday and I know it’s not a gift him, but it will be the first time she sees us for the first time,” Damian says.
“So we have an E-Sight technician here today to help her with the glasses, which she’ll be able to keep,” the hostess says.
“So I’m going to slide this on your head,” the technician says, placing it over her eyes. “Can you give a look around for me? Can you see?”
“Yes! Yes! I can see,” Marinette exclaims, turning to look at the two most important people in her life. “You guys! You’re both as beautiful as I imagine.” Marinette cries, tears streaming down her face.
“Come on, Angel, don’t cry,” Damian says, wiping her tears away before pulling her into a hug.
“Thomas, honey, you’re so cute…. I can’t believe it! I can see you both!” Marinette says, taking Thomas. “Hi honey, Mama can see you!”
“Nettie, we brought the rest of your family here so you can see them as well,” the hostess says, welcoming her family to the stage.
“Guys! Mama! Papa! You guys!” Marinette says, letting herself be enveloped in a hug.
“We’re so happy for you, Pixie-Pop!”
She couldn’t be happier, she was happy before but now she can see the beauty of the world once again. She loved her family more than words can explain and now she didn’t have to just picture them, she can see them for real.

I'm pretty sure DPbio!dad Mari's explanation for how she knew Robin's identity on the first freacking meeting is because "... the butts matched." "WHAT??!?!" "I would recognize your fine bootie anywhere Damian."
i- I love this so sm. I hope this does it justice. Ya I’m ded gonna write a fic someday idk.
After Marinette is healed (as mentioned in the previous part) they’re all eating dinner at the manor.
Bruce is still a bit salty bout Marinette being Black Death and being on their turf. But he’s come around to her due to her and Damian’s relationship.
He was also a bit unnerved how easily she figured out the family. Especially after she explained how... it went a bit like this.
“So Marinette how’d you both meet?” “Well one day Tim dragged everyone into the cafe I work at.” “So how’d that lead to figuring out that who he and we are?” Marinette laughs, almost falling out of her seat. “I could recognize Damian’s ass.”
That made Bruce and Dick choke in their food.
Tim spits out his drink.
Jason laughs his ass off.
Damian blushes and almost chokes.
Marinette just snickers. “I decided to attempt to fluster Damian as Robin, which was me dropping hints to him. Which it took him forever to figure out.”
“That’s honestly— I can’t,” Jason says between laughs now laying on the floor after falling off his seat. “Marry her or I will.”
“You gotta ask my dad first, ya know as soon as I find him or better yet when he finds me.” “Your father?” Bruce asks, raising an eyebrow. “Oh! I swear I’ve mentioned this,” Marinette starts, before facepalming herself. “Deadpool!” She exclaims as if that explains everything.
“Good luck baby bird,” Dick says before going back to eating as if nothing happened.

Rising from the Ashes: Of Bullies and Best Friends
So this story is based on this post by @legendaryhumanskeletonkid I took this idea and kinda changed it without further ado... Part 1. Master List
-------------
“All of Paris is invited to a gala that will be held at the hotel this Saturday from six-thirty to ten o’clock. This is a fundraiser gala for natural disasters and a partial celebration for the defeat of Hawkmoth Paris’ previous tormentor,” Mayor Bourgeois announces, looking over the crowd.
Marinette had been sitting on her family’s couch designing as the mayor finished his speech. She had been invited as Ladybug and wouldn’t be attending as Marinette. She did not need to make a dress and had already changed her costume for a more grown-up look.
A year or two after she started being the spotted hero, she decided to change up costume as of now her costume was red from her hips to her shoulder blades with black spots strategically placed, along with black knee-high boots that had three spots on her knees, her hand were adorned with fingerless gloves with one red spot on the back of each hand, the rest of her body was covered in her original red with black spots. She had also started putting her now mid-back long hair up in a bun to keep it out of her face as she worked or as her superhero persona. Needless to say, she loves her new look.
By this point in time, Adrien and Marinette became best friends, especially after the reveal. Adrien is happily dating Kagami after Marinettehad set them up. She is one of the few people who knew about Kagami and Adrien’s relationship and is happy for both of her friends. She had lost feelings for Adrien when he had told her to take the high road with Lila’s lying problem. He stopped talking and pushing to take the high road bull after he had to comfort Ladybug to stop her from getting akumatized. He realized someone was getting hurt and it was his Lady, his best friend.
He couldn’t directly stand up to her due to his father, but he would point out a lack of consistency in her lies. He was also an emotional support system for her during the times when Lila was too terrible. He always has Marinette and Kagami’s favorite ice-cream in the mini fridge-freezer combo he had in his room. He also has a playlist of movies for the group watches when they get together. Marinette, Kagami, Adrien, Chloe, and Luka have become family in everything but blood.
Marinette sighs, being brought back to the present by her parents entering the kitchen.
“Hey sweetie, what was the mayor’s announcement?” Sabine asked, sitting down next to her petite daughter.
“He is holding a fundraiser gala as a celebration for Hawkmoth’s defeat and for other natural disasters. All the heroes are invited as a thank you and probably to help raise more money,” Marinette summed up while her mother hugged her.
“That’s great, sweetheart! Are you going to go?” Tom asked, sitting down on the other side of his daughter.
“I haven’t decided yet but I don’t think I will,” Marinette answered.
“Why not sweetie?” Sabine asked, looking at her daughter, eyes filled with concern. Sabine had noticed her daughter's classmates had stopped coming by the house and she is worried for her daughter's social life.
“I don’t know I just don’t want to go to a stuffy gala,” she answered, standing up. “but don’t worry about me, you guys go have fun. Enjoy yourselves, you both deserve it."
“I think we will, what day is it?” Sabine asked, standing up as well.
“It’s this upcoming Saturday,” Marinette answered.
“But today is Thursday. That doesn’t leave us much time to find and wash the formal clothes,” Tom said, standing as well.
“Ok mama and papa I’ll leave you to that, I’m going to head to bed. Goodnight I love you both," Marinette said, leaving to go upstairs to her room
“Tikki, are you ready for patrol?” Marinette said, looking for her little red friend.
“Let’s go Marinette!” Tikki said, coming down from the bed Marinette had made her.
“Tikki, Spots on,” Marinette said, going through her transformation. Then she jumped out of her balcony trap door and flew across the rooftops towards the set meeting place, the Eiffel Tower.
“Hey Chaton, Queenie. Sorry that I’m late, my parents were asking about the gala,” she said, landing beside her partners.
“It's fine LB you deserve a break after today though,” Queen Bee said, looking at her once rival turned friend.
“I’m fine,” Ladybug started before Chat cut in. “No, you shouldn’t have to be fine. You should be feeling great I can’t believe she accused you of such a thing,” Chat pouted, crossing his arms.
Ladybug sighed and looked over the city thinking back to what had happened earlier that day in class.
Lila had walked into school with a black eye and bruised cheek, probably makeup. Once she had everyone around her and Marinette, who had made it a habit of arriving at class on time, walked in Lila started crying her crocodile tears. “M.. Marinette how co.. could you show your fa...face after what you did to me?” Lila stuttered out between the crocodile tears.
“What do you mean?” Adrien asked before Marinette could respond to the accusations.
“She was jealous over our friendship, Adrien, so she attacked me after we hung out yesterday,” Lila cried, hiding her face in Alya’s welcoming embrace.
“By ‘hung out’ you mean you hanging all over me during the photoshoot I was forced to go to,” Adrien deadpanned, putting air quotes around ‘hung out’.
“Adrien, how could you say that when she’s in this condition?” Alya raged, looking at Marinette and Adrien as she continued to rub Lila’s back comfortingly. “Marinette you gotta stop being so jealous!”
“That’s funny because Marinette and I went out for ice cream with Adrien, Luka, and Kagami after Adrien’s torture his father calls a photoshoot,” Chloe stepped in.
“How do we know you aren’t lying?” Alya asked, standing tall. “You, Chloe, are just as much of a bully as Marinette is.”
“Because,” Marinette stepped in. “We saw you there yesterday. Remember? You and Nino had a date.”
“That is true, babe as we were leaving they were just getting there,” Nino stated towards his girlfriend.
“Then you must have slapped her after that because we all know you have a huge crush on Adrien,” Alya defended a smirk spreading across her face.
“Alya, if you had talked to me sometime in the last two years without yelling at me then you would know that I see him just as a friend,” Marinette said, crossing her arms.
“Awww, Buginette, I thought we were best friends,” Adrien pouted.
“Not the time, Adrien,” Chloe said. “Also why would Lila just bring it up now? Why didn’t she talk to the principal before this?”
“I..” Lila started then cried more while answering. “I thought she would do something worse.”
“This girl wouldn’t hurt a fly,” Adrien defended, knowing that not to be true. He had seen her do some serious damage. The bell rung before anyone could say anything else but by the glares that Marinette kept receiving she could tell people weren’t happy with her over the accusations.
“Buginette, are you sure you’re ok? Queenie and I don’t mind taking this patrol by ourselves,” Chat offered, looking at his long-time friend.
“Mar, you can tell us what the matter is. Even with Hawkmoth defeated we’re still here for you,” Queen said, patting her shoulder.
“I just don’t understand how they can trust someone they barely know over me, their childhood friend,” Ladybug answered, looking into the distance.
“Her lies seem as sweet as honey, but they’re going to sting when the lies bumble,” Queenie punned. Chat looked at her in astonishment.
“Did you just—?“ Chat started.
“Nope Chlo you can’t join him. There are only so many puns people can deal with,” Ladybug said with a laugh. “I can’t wait to see the day her lies will fall.”
They sat there for the duration of the patrol, Paris would be safe for the night. Ladybug needs the heroes’ help more. After her friends had helped her relax she had fallen asleep, Chat took the liberty of taking her home. She needed more sleep with the stress of school, Ladybug, and now going to the gala. Adrien wasn’t going to go as Adrien, but as Chat Noir. He was personally invited as Chat, which he’s thankful for. He can now spend time with his girlfriend and not have to deal with Lila.
As Adrien put his Buginette in her bed and tucked her in he stared for a moment and thought back to a day not too long ago when he thought he had lost her.
It had been a long fight every one of the heroes, even with their strong stamina, were becoming tired. Especially Marinette taking more hits than any of the other heroes, not wanting them, rest of her friends, to be hurt. After hours of fighting, they were in Hawkmoth’s lair now at this point after he had run near the end of his transformation. This had led them to his own house at that moment he knew his lady had been right almost three years ago.
His friends turned to look at him. He looked at them and felt the bile rising in his throat, his father. His goddamn father! He had done this to them. Kagami had been stabbed in the shoulder but she was still fighting. Marinette had received a bad blow to the stomach. Everyone has excessive bruising most of the team had dried blood on them and their costumes were torn. He fell to his knees and threw up.
“My god,” he whispered, wiping his mouth. “Why him? Of all the loners and messed up people, why him?”
“Chaton, you could have not known,” Ladybug said, rubbing his back.
“Adrien, this isn’t your fault,” Kagami said, hugging him.
“Look at you guys!” He said, standing up swiftly. “You all look terrible! He hurt you are all so bad.”
“Thanks,” Queenie answered sarcastically, crossing her arms.
“You don’t look so hot yourself though,” Viperon said, trying to calm down the blonde.
“Viperon, is right we all look bad but this is what we signed up for as soon as we took the miraculous. Ya, it sucks that the troubles of Paris are placed on the shoulders five teenagers, who are still in high school, but the adults here are morons,” Queenie said, hugging Adrien. “You gotta calm down. I.. we won’t be able to fight you too.”
“You’re right,” he said, hugging her back. “Let’s go get ourselves a bastard.”
“That’s the spirit!” Ladybug said, giving him a fist bump.
They jumped to where they saw Hawkmoth enter. Ryuko offered to go in first, well not offered but barged in first. “Gabriel! You have some nerve!” Ryuko screamed when she saw the dark figure.
“Ahhh.. finally I’ll have what is truly mine your miraculous. It’s finally time to get rid of you, pests,” Hawkmoth monologued hiding in the shadows.
“Father! Stop this craziness! I don’t know why you’re doing this, but it must end!” Chat pleaded.
“Gabriel, we don’t want to fight you anymore. We just want the butterfly and the peacock miraculous,” Ladybug reasoned.
“and I just want my wife back,” Gabriel said, turning to the heroes. “Don’t you want the same, Adrien?”
“I.. She’s gone, Father. I’m going to be gone too if you don’t stop! I miss her as much as you do, but I moved on because it’s healthy! This isn’t healthy and would she want to be brought back like this? All this destruction, chaos, and pain? Would she even be able to look at you the same knowing that you’ve hurt Paris, my friends, and your only son?” Chat asked, stepping forward as Gabriel fell to his knees. “Please, Dad stop this.”
“Under one condition,” Gabriel asked, looking up at his son.
“Depends on the condition old man,” Queenie said from behind Chat.
“I want to be able to stay here with you and try to make up the time I wasted. Also please don’t tell the public who I am, the media would tear you and the company to pieces. You would probably be seen as an accomplice and wouldn't be trusted most likely anywhere,” Gabriel pleads, grabbing his son’s hand, the one without Chat’s miraculous.
“Group talk, huddle up,” Viperon said, beckoning everyone in.
“We could make him do stuff like community service, but subtly so it doesn’t raise any suspicion,” Ryuko reasoned, once everyone had gathered in the huddle of heroes.
“What would we tell the public,” Queenie asked, looking around the circle.
“After Hawkmoth ran, we found his miraculous that he had left on a rooftop,” Ladybug started a plan forming.
“When we went to find the civilian Hawkmoth he had already run,” Chat finished.
“Good enough for me,” Viperon agreed.
“What if we make him start a foundation,” Queenie suggested. “I could help since I am the Mayor’s daughter and have connections”
“He caused a lot of chaos, what if we make him start a disaster foundation? Natural disasters because those are a common thing here. Fires and floods, simple things,” Ryuko added.
“Ok we have a proposition then,” Chat said, breaking the huddle then looked towards Gabriel. “Father we came to a decision you can be unknown from the public, but you have to start a natural disaster foundation. Also something I’m adding get your mental health checked along with weekly therapy. If you choose these conditions you can stay at home as Gabriel Agreste and Hawkmoth will never be you again. If not we can take you into the police station right now.”
Needless to say, Gabriel had accepted the heroes’ gracious offer and handed over the butterfly and peacock miraculous, which was brought back to Master Fu. He had given her the Miracle Box because he wanted to retire soon after the defeat of Hawkmoth. The public was angry at first due to the fact they wouldn’t know the identity of Hawkmoth, but they thought the heroes didn’t know so they were less angry. Adrien sighed and jumped onto her balcony and headed home.
When Marinette woke up the next morning she looks around dazed for a moment or two this had been one of the first times she had gotten a full night's sleep in awhile. It was all thanks to her partners, she hadn’t even woken from a nightmare. She also woke up a bit earlier than her alarm, so she got up and put her hair in a bun, did some light makeup. She put on a white shoulderless short-sleeved shirt with little flowers near the neckline, a bubblegum pink flowy skirt, and a pair of darkish grey tights. She then finished the look with the same bubblegum color of her skirt for ballet shoes. When finished getting dressed she put cookies in her signature purse. She climbed up the ladder leading towards her bed to wake up her kwami.
“Tikki, time to wake up,” Marinette said, quietly.
“Good morning,” Tikki yawned. “You look nice this morning!”
“I got up early. I must’ve fallen asleep on patrol,” Marinette said. “I woke up on time and I didn’t have any nightmares.”
“That’s so good! You haven’t gotten enough sleep lately,” Tikki said, flying up out of her bed.
“Marinette! It’s time to leave!” Sabine shouted from downstairs. Marinette checked her phone and saw that it was true so she went downstairs. “Sweetie you look extra beautiful today! Did you sleep better than normal?”
“Yes, I slept well, love you mama see you after school!” She kissed her mama and left for school.
As she arrives Adrien’s car pulls up and she sees Chloe waiting by the bottom of the steps near the entrance of the school. Chloe is wearing her hair down straight but with the top part of her hair pulled back and held in with her miraculous. She is wearing a black pencil skirt that ends just above the knee, a flowy light yellow shirt, and paired with black flats.
When Adrien and Marinette meet Chloe they give both give her and each other a hug. They then walk inside to be met with the mess known as Lila and her posse. They meet in the courtyard where Alya and Lila try to get an apology out of Marinette.
"Lila, I didn't hit you. There's enough proof to say that I didn't, but yet you continue with your web of lies. Why would I want to hit you?" Marinette asked, crossing her arms as Adrien and Chloe stand behind her.
"Because you are jealous that I'm dating Adrien. I'm sorry Adrihoney that I told her our secret," Lila cried. "I just can't take her jealousy or torture anymore."
"Lila we're not dating..." Adrien started but was cut off again by Lila sobbing louder.
"You don't have to lie to them, they already know the truth. I can't let you hide your feelings for me anymore," Lila sobbed.
"Lila, what truth did you tell them the truth or the truth you want? I would never date you, Lila. You are too clingy, annoying, and you're always lying. Plus I'm happily dating someone; I'm pretty sure I love her," Adrien finished.
"Marinette, you slut, you're sleeping with Lila's boyfriend when you know that they are happily together," Alya raged, rubbing Lila's back.
“It’s like I’m not even here!” Adrien said, throwing his hands up in defeat.
"First of all, Adrien is just a friend. Second of all, how dare you call me or his actual girlfriend a slut and last Adrien's girlfriend could take Lila down in a heartbeat," Marinette said, stepping forward. "Adrien's girlfriend may not be the kindest at first glance, but what I wouldn't do to help one of my best friends."
She then walked to class with the two blonds glaring at the rest of the class following behind. The rest of the day was filled with excited chatter for the upcoming gala. Lila was bragging over the fact the uprising star, who she ‘helped’ found MDC's talent, made her dress just because Lila is so nice.
"MDC, he is so incredibly nice and handsome. He has milk chocolate hair and the brightest blue eyes you would ever see. It was love at first sight when he had first seen me. It was just after I had saved Jagged Stone's cat from the airport's terminal. MDC was with Jagged because he is Jagged's lost nephew," Lila started then her face fell. "I couldn't stay with him though, I was getting ready to fly to Gotham to be with my childhood sweetheart, my Damiboo. I'm sorry or as you would know him, Damian Wayne."
"Seriously! you've met the Waynes and Bruce Wayne's heir is in love with you?!?" Alya exclaimed. "You have to get me an interview with them!"
"Next time I visit my Damiboo I'll ask him, but he's kind of shy," Lila smiles, looking at all of her adoring followers.
Marinette sighed as the bell rung thankful for the end of her lies even if only temporarily. After her class, which was uneventful, she headed home to help her parents finish up in the bakery and eventually helped them close it. She saw that they had dragged out there nicer clothes.
"Sweetheart, would you be a dear and fit and fix my dress," Sabine asked, looking back at Marinette as she cooked.
"Of course Mama I'll fix it up after dinner," Marinette said as she was finishing up her homework.
They had a nice peaceful dinner after plates were cleaned, and leftovers were put away Marinette and her mother headed upstairs to fix her mother's dress. "Mama you look beautiful," Marinette said looking over the traditional Chinese red cheongsam.
"Thank you, Marinette," Sabine pauses, looking at herself in the mirror. "Pretty soon I'm going to give it to you. It was your grandmother's and I think you deserve it."
"Thank you, Mama," Marinette smiled, fixing the tear near the hem. "It's all fixed Mama. You look beautiful. I hope you have a great time tomorrow."
"I just wish you would come with us," Sabine sighed, hugging her daughter.
"I would but I had already made plans with Adrien, Kagami, and Luka," Marinette told the decided upon story.
"OK have fun at least," Sabine smiled before heading downstairs to show her husband.
Since it was Ryuko and Viperon's turn to patrol she went to bed early.

I saw your bio dad!Deadpool au and I remembered there's this one DP comic where he "team up" with Spiderman, and at some point of the story his appearance goes back to normal instead of, and i quote the first movie, "an avocado f*cked an even older avocado". Spiderman talks to Wade and comes to the conclusion that Deadpool's appearance is a reflection of how Wade FELLS about himself! Anyway my point is, would Mari have something like that being his daughter??(Sorry this got long -_-")
I can see this... just give me a hot sec. Dw bout it being long, liked the background info.

Warning: Swearing as expected
Lila. The root of all her problems. Not only did she come back lying, she came back and turned Marinette’s class on her.
It started off small, just like her lies. Littles rashes here and there.
Later as the lies got bigger and the hate towards her got worse, the rashes spread.
Original she thought it was how people thought of her, but the rashes hadn’t come with Chloe’s bullying.
It wasn’t until she was crying in her knees looking in the floor-length mirror realized how much she hated who they made her believe she was.
The more she cried, the more rash came, the more she looked like her father. She loved her father, but she didn’t want to look like as her father said it best. “avocado had sex with an older, more disgusting avocado. And it was hate-fucking”
It didn’t look as bad as his though, probably because she wasn’t the original mutant.
The rash (idk what to call it so rash it is) started building up from her torso forward her neck and lower neck. She started wearing a mask and said she was sick.
One day, she woke up and her whole body was covered. She cried and stayed in bed.
That night she went out and let out some steam, if ya know what I mean, (and don’t go there, she went out not-heroing).
When she got back to her room, she took out the bag her dad left her with and read a letter.
It said that no matter what happened, they would always love her. That she was the best thing to happen to them. That she would be better than both of them, and that’s just the way they want it.
The next morning she woke up with a smile, and the rash contained to her torso.
She learned to control her emotions and not let their words get to her. Or she would just be giving them more to make fun of her.

Sweet Lullaby
So remember not too long ago when I asked you if you wanted to see a Jason singing fic? Well here it is, I hope you enjoy This short story. Sibling Jasonette. (Just under 3,000)
--------------------------------------------------
For as long as Jason Peter Todd could remember, he had always been the main caregiver to his little sister Marianne Jiayang Todd, well his half-sister.  His mother was working as a full-time doctor to help support their small family. Most days it was hard to quiet the poor little Mari, as Jason called her because all she wanted was her mother, but he quickly learned that the Spanish lullabies his abuela used to sing helped her calm down.
This is the trick he used when Marianne was two and their stepfather was sent to jail. Mari loved her dad but didn’t get to spend much time with him because her dad hadn’t wanted Mari. She was a mistake in her parents’ eyes, but to Jason, she was his foundation.
She kept him centered when their mother died when Marianne was just eight. Jason helped repay her by singing Abuela’s lullabies. He helped raise a bit of money by singing on the corner or train station during the day and when they couldn’t reach ends meet, he would take the rest. Mari didn’t like it when Jay-Jay stole, but she knew they needed to survive somehow.
On one particular night, Jason had gone too big, he tried to steal the Batmobile’s tires. He was caught and took into the care of Bruce Wayne. There was one problem, Bruce called GPD on Marianne. She was taken away and Jason never heard about her again, so he thought the worst had happened. He became depressed and reckless on patrol and almost got himself killed multiple times.
“Bruce do you know what happened to Marianne?” Jason had asked one day almost two years after he was adopted. He was now fifteen with Marianne being ten.
“From what I was told, GPD found her hurt and I don’t know anything after that, I’m sorry Jason, but you can ask if there was a different outtake,” Bruce says, patting Jason’s shoulder as Bruce walks past him out of the room to give him time.
Jason started doing something he hadn’t done since he had found out his sister wasn’t coming with him, he cried. Not just cried, sobbed. He fell to his knees and sobbed into his hands. Not too long after he runs down to the police department. “Please tell me you have news on Marianne Todd.”
“And you are?” an officer says, raising an eyebrow.
“I’m her brother, Jason Todd, I really need to know what happened to her,” Jason pleads.
“Do you have proof of your relationship with her?”
“Here’s my student ID,” Jason says, taking out his wallet.
“Where’s your guardian?”
“He’s in a meeting. Please I need to know what happened to her.”
“Come back with your guardian then we’ll talk.” The officer said, leaving Jason alone. Little did that officer know that Jason would sneak back into the police station later that night. “Let’s see, let’s see,” he mutters, flipping through a file cabinet with a flashlight in his mouth. “Ah-Ha!” He says, quietly pulling out the file. Marianne Jiayang Todd, badly injured, sent to the hospital to heal, later adopted by a family in Paris. Jason ran back to the manor and packed a bag including money, clothes, and the picture he had with him and his Mari. The was a problem along the way to the airport, he ran into the Joker. Batman tried to save him, but it was too late and Jason had died.
He was brought back to life six months later by Talia Ra’ Ghul in hopes of taking down the legacy of the Bat Clan. Talia suppressed his memories of everything from Red Hood to where Marianne was living and also him into thinking Marianne was dead. Not thinking Jason had anything to live for decided to help Talia on her mission.
Marianne missed her brother, he hadn’t come home since his last job. He had become worried about Jay-Jay’s safety so she decided to look for him. She made it a couple of blocks away from their shelter before she was attacked, she had a broken arm from being pushed down along with a concussion. She got up a tried to walk back to the shelter so Jay-Jay would find her but she got kicked in the ankle and it was snapped. After that, the little couple of coins she had and was left for dead.
She was surrounded by a wash of red and blue lights. She felt herself being lifted but didn't have the energy to fight. “Jay-Jay, where are you?” she mutters.
“Miss, can you tell me your name? Where are your parents?”
“Marianne Todd, Mom is dead, Dad is in jail have you seen Jay-Jay?”
“Can you tell me what hurts Anne?”
“My ankle, hand, and head. Where’s Jay-Jay? I want Jay-Jay!”
“Anne you need to calm down, we’re going to take you to the hospital.”
She doesn’t remember much after that. She wakes up, what she is told the next day, with two casts and the lights dimmed.
“Miss, we were unable to locate your brother, and do to the fact you have no guardian, we found a family who would love to adopt you,” the social worker said. “The only problem is that the family lives in Paris, but they happen to be here on vacation.” (I realize there are many steps to adoption but this is just fiction).
“B--bu...but my brother, Jay-Jay, can’t I can’t leave him,” Marinette stutters out, her breathing becoming faster.
“Anne you need to calm down, you need to breathe,” the doctor says. “Can you breath with me?”
“Nam- My my name is no not Anne, it its Marianne,” she stutters out, catching her breath.
“Ok Marianne would you like to get some fresh air?”
“Th- that wou- would be fine.” she says.
“I can not stress how important it is that we discuss this,” the social working stresses, as the doctor leaves the room, dragging the social worker along.
“Can’t you see that she is in no condition to talk about that right now?!” the doctor yells. “She needs to be calm before she accepts the fact that she’s moving to a different continent.”
“I’ll be back in a half-hour,” the social worker said, walking the hall.
“C- can sing umm you sing to me?” Marianne asks, sitting down on the bench.
“I’m not too good, but I can try,” the doctor laughs.
Marianne sits quietly listening to the song, wind, and the world around them. She starting to calm down.
“Thank you. Jay-Jay sings to me, sometimes even in Spanish,” Marianne says. “Just like Abuela did.”
“Would you be able to talk to the social worker now?” Marianne hesitates, looking up at the doctor. “Don’t worry Marianne, we can take a break if you need it.”
“Ok then,” Marianne sighs, reluctantly.
“Perfect! Times up,” the social worker says, approaching the bench. “So during that half-hour, the parents go there!”
“Hello, Marianne, my name is Sabine, this is my husband, Tom,” the short Asian woman, Sabine, said, squeezing the giant man’s arm.
“Are you ready to head to your new home?” Tom asks, smiling. Marianne nods, standing up.
“She has to have a check-up in a week for her concussion, as her doctor has said,” the doctor said, standing up.
“Wait, I thought you were her doctor?” the social worker says.
“No, I’m an on-call psychiatrist,” the doctor answers, crouching down to Marianne’s height. “Marianne, you ever need anything, call me here.”
Marianne looks at the card. “Harleen Quinzel?”
“Yep, that’s me! Call me if you need anything ok,” Dr. Quizel said, standing up. “You can call me, Harley, ok?”
“Thank you, Harley,” Marianne says, hugging her waist.
“Bye, Marianne,” Dr. Quinzel waves as Marianne walks off with Tom, Sabine, and the jerk social worker.
Two years later, Marianne Jiayang Todd turned Marinette Jiayang Anne Dupain-Cheng loved living in France even though Jay-Jay wasn’t with her. Her new Mama and Papa were great and treated her like the Princesita that Jay-Jay told she deserved to be. If someone brings up Jason, without Marinette initiating the conversation, she has a panic attack. She doesn’t bring up Gotham much, but when she does she smiles at the good memories and sings along to the sweet lullabies Jason used to sing. Marinette took Dr. Quinzel up on her offer to talk, so once a month they have an hour conversation about life among other things, even after she became Harley Quin, their phonecalls continued like clock-work.
One day, two years after being adopted, she got a call, it was Harley, even though it was not her normal day, Mari still picked up.
“Hey, Auntie, what’s the matter?” Marinette, now ten, answered.
“I’m quittin’ the villain life. My puddin’ just killed an innocent boy who reminded me too much of you. Can you put your parents on the phone?”
“Of course Auntie! Mama, Papa, Auntie Harley wants to talk to you,” Marinette said.
“Coming sweetie,” Sabine answered, her footsteps following not too long after. “Yes, Harley?”
“Can I come live with you guys for like a week or two?”
“Yes, what’s the matter?”
“Ya know how I got dragged into bein’ a villain? Well, my boyfriend, Joker killed an innocent boy and I don’t think I’m mentally fine to be alone right now,” Harley’s voice came through the phone a bit shaky.
“It’s ok Harley, but just know that when you are living here, you’ll need to be crime-free, help out around the house, and Marinette,” Sabine said sternly.
“Ok, I promise,” Harley promised before hanging up.
“What happened to Auntie?”
“Nothing sweetie, she’s just tired, but we’ll see her soon, ok?” Marinette nods. “Ok time for bed.”
Harley came and stayed the two weeks, and later got an apartment near the bakery. Sabine and Tom hired Harley for help in the bakery and watching Marinette. Harley was first to find out that Ladybug. That lead to her parents finding out. She was great friends with her bench partner, Alya and the other girls in her class as well as Nino and Adrien. That was until Lila came and destroyed almost all of her friendships, Alya, Nino, and Adrien stayed true friends to her. Lila convinced everyone that Chloe was unsafe to be around and they bullied her until she changed schools. Marinette was on the verge of transferring especially after heritage day.
“I’m going to be talking about my mother’s heritage,” Marinette said, pulling up her slide show.
“You’re adopted though, do you mean your birth mother or Sabine?” Lila says ‘innocently.’
“I was adopted young so I don't know much about my birth parents,” Marinette defends, putting a hand on her hip.
“Well then just tell us about your life before you were adopted,” Ms. Bustier said.
“No Ms. Bustier you don’t understand--” Alya said, standing up.
“Alya, everyone has to participate,” Ms. Bustier said, shushing her. “Now you need to do as everyone else or you can go to the office.”
“Ya know what? Fine! I was born with a shitty father, who was sent to jail when I was four, a mother, who worked as a doctor so she wasn’t around. My step-brother took care of me for as long as I can remember with the help with his Abuela,” Marinette said, tears welling in her eyes. “We lived on the streets for a while after my mother’s death. My brother sang to make money. Nig-- one nigt when eig- I… I was eight, he didn’t co- come home... so I went out looking for him. I got got hurt and hospitalized where my Mama and Papa adopted me.” She finished, tears streaming down her face.
“What’s your brother’s name?” Ms. Bustier asks.
“Th- that- that’s no-not im-imp-important,” Marinette stutters, rubbing her face. “Ummm… I got-- have to go- go.”
Marinette cried in the bathroom, Alya following closely behind her. “Girl do you want to go home?”
“N… no Ask- Mama and Papa ask-- will ask,” Marinette cried, hugging her. “Can we just stay here?”
“Of course Mari.”
“Can you sing?”
“Of course.” After a song, Marinette is calm enough to go back to class.
“We’ll be going to Gotham for our yearly trip as planned by our class president, Lila,” Ms. Bustier announces near the end of class. A tear slipped down her face hearing this, but she decided to she missed Gotham, her home. Aunt Harley promised to come and be there just in case something happened to her.
Jason went back to Gotham after Talia finished training him. He was determined to get revenge for the Bats taking away his princesita. The Bats let her die and they were going to pay for it.
Marinette’s class was at the Museum of Gotham, then there was a problem, Joker attacked. Marinette distracted Joker and his goons so the class could getaway. She kneels down as the goons ties her arms behind her back.
“You’re pretty bold little foreign girl, but I guess that makes sense because you don’t know how dangerous I am,” Joker says, putting a finger under her chin to lift her head. “Perfect hostage, blue eyes, raven hair, just like Batsy likes. Watch her, the rest,  follow me.” He finished, walking away.
When she heard the door click she subtly turned her head to see where the goons where. She starts crying, cathing a goon’s attention. “Shut up girl.” the goon commands. When she doesn’t stop the goon approaches her so head butts him in the stomach before standing. She jumps over tied arms and swings at the goon that came over as soon as the first goon was hit. The third one tries to grab her from behind, so she kicks him the groin as he falls she kicks him in the nose.
She hears noises at the door that Joker and a couple of his goons left by. As she’s about to open it when the doorknob wiggles before being thrown open. The youngest Robin stood on the other side.
“Are you ok, miss?”
“Umm… yes, I’m ok, but you should those guys, the last guy might have a broken nose,” Marinette said, pointing with both hands towards the room. “Can you help me untie this?”
“Um sure!” He said, untying the ropes.
“Hey! We got another in here, heavily armed, dangerous,” Red Robin called from the previous room.
Robin left the room, telling her to stay there, but Marinette being the person she is, didn’t listen. She entered the room to see a man in a tan trench coat and a red helmet.
“You didn’t even try to help her! You left her for dead,” he screamed.
“Who? There a lot of people we can’t save but we try everything we can,” Nightwing said.
“Marianne! She’s all I had! You’re all going to pay!” He screamed.
“Marianne? Jay-Jay,” Marinette mutters to herself before raising her voice. “Jay-Jay!” Catching his attention he turns her voice. She sings softly as he approaches her. “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away” He drops his guns, rips off his helmet, and envelopes her in a hug.
“Marianne, Princesita, she told me you were gone. She told me you were dead,” Jason said, letting tears fall.
“Jason I thought you were dead, you never came home that night,” Marinette said, crying into his shoulder.
“Jason I thought you were dead!” Batman says, approaching the siblings.
“How do you know him?” Marinette asks, stepping back from Batman.
“His adopted father.”
“I was dead, Talia brought me back and told me you, Marianne was dead and it was Batman’s fault.”
“That wench did it again,” Robin sighed.
“What do ya mean?” Jason asks, breaking the hug to look at the people around him.
“I’m her son and she messed me up big time,” Robin explained.
“Sweetie! I heard what happened! Hey! Let me through!” a familiar voice came from down the hall. Not too long after the familiar face of Harley Quin entered the room. “Mari! Are you ok?” She rushed over checking for anything amiss.
“Seriously hasn’t enough happened today,” Red Robin sighs.
“Harley, where’ve been?” Batman sighs.
“I’ve been taking care of Sweetie.”
“Auntie has been very good she hasn’t done any crime!”
“Joker bette’ not of hurt ya at all or I’ll rip off his balls,” Harley said, hugging Marinette. “Marinette is that your brother? You’re the one that Joker killed? That bastard!”
“Marinette?” Jason asked, turning to look at his little sister.
“I changed my name after moving, it hurt too much to keep my name,” Marinette explained. “But I think I could go back to Marianne now.”
“Let’s go, Sweetie, the police need to take your statement,” Harley said, grabbing Marianne’s hand.
After the statement is taken, Marianne turned to her class and says with a smile. “Lila you may be a lying sack of shit, but because of your attempts to hurt me, I found my brother. And I, Marianne Jiayang Todd couldn’t be happier. Thank you for making my life miserable so I could have a great full life with my brother and the people I care about.”
“Let’s go Princesita,” Jason said, kissing her head. Before they, Harley, and Jason, get into a cab and head to the manor to talk through everything.

For your Deadpool AU, does she ever see her father again?
Thank you anon. You’re asking the important questions (others were important I’ve just been waiting for someone ask). Ngl I’m a bit unsure how this one went short answer yes, long answer below...
Master List
Wade thought his daughter was dead cuz that’s what the kidnapper said.
Vanessa and Wade had a mourning period before moving away. They didn’t want to stay with the memories if they couldn’t have her.
Everything went on normal, well as normal as it could with Wade as a husband and a dead child.
That was until there was an explosion in Paris that was on the news cuz no one knows how it started.
Wade, having nothing better to do, decided he’d take a merc job in Paris so he could see what it was about.
When he got there was a card with his face, well not his face because wherever there was supposed to be red, there was black and vis versa, that’s read “Poolman, if you’re reading this come find me.”
“Who the FUCK do they think they are to call me out like this!?” He screamed at his job. “I don’t know but if you need a therapist that’s not me, so you can just let me go?” “Nah you’re getting killed twice for that.” “You’re from Paris, who is this shithead?” “That’s Black Death, they’ve been chilling around here for a while.” “That’s all I need you for.”
His job got shot in nuts, later being shot in the head, square between the eyes.
“Oh I’m going find you”
He did research on Black Death, he found a blog dedicated to her? The one thing that caught his eye was she lost a limb during a fight, somehow he didn’t bother figuring it out, but a couple of days later, came back as if nothing happened.
It wouldn’t be till three months later when he thought about her again. She was in Gotham.
“Nessa! I’m going to Gotham.” “No, you’re not! Remember what happens last time!” He was shot on sight, also got into a fight with Talia, but that’s for a different time.
“You can come with, I just need to do some research!” “You’re so funny! Wait you weren’t joking? Fine, I’m coming with.”
Every night they were there Wade would put on his suit, but stayed out of sight just like Vanessa wanted, he would watch this Black Death.
She didn’t just work with the bats, but also hung out with the Sirens.
At the start of the last week they were staying, Wade needed coffee if he was going to go out another night. The cashier took his order so he sat down at his table.
“Good morning, here’s your coffee.” A different voice greeted. He grumbles as a thank you.
He was drinking his coffee when the bell rung. “Marinette! Damian is in one of his moods.” That caused Wade to look at the voice.
“Where is he?” “He’s at the Uni, Wait you’re supposed to be there too! You have class.” “Shit!” “Someone’s going to end up dead.”
Wade stood as fast as he could and tried to follow them but they climbed into a car and they were gone.
He hailed a taxi and told them to go to Uni. He followed her for the rest of the day, he realized she’s dating Damian Wayne. He also figured out where she lived. (he’s totally not creepy just following his suspected daughter.)
He went back to the hotel room. “Vanessa I have something important to tell you, I just have to check my theory.” “You’re really trying to pull off this whole research thing, aren’t you?” “Well it’s good to research, but if I’m right we have something to do tomorrow night.”
He then put on his suit and jumped out the window. He ran to Marinette’s apartment and waited for Black Death to exit it.
Black Death came out the window, used what look like Robin’s grappling hook to pull herself on to the roof, and flipped him off.
“You’re grounded!” “Try me, bitch!” She said before running off.
He tackled her, just to be pulled off by an angry Robin.
“Nope, don’t get too close to Death or she’ll come after you.” “You have two boyfriends!” “No!” She screams. “You got Robin and the little Wayne brat!” Wade explains, being thrown across the roof.
“Oh! Dami, this is my father, Deadpool or Wade Wilson.” She explained taking off her mask. “Fuck! There’s two of them!” Batman says, landing beside them. “Brucie! Don’t use that type of language there are innocent ears here!” Red Hood said, dropping down beside the group.
“How are you alive!” Wade screams. “She’ll explain everything during dinner tomorrow at the Manor,” Robin grumbled before the group ran off.
Cliffhanger! Hope you enjoyed! You ask I’ll answer!

No More Second Chances: Chapter Three
So not even all hell breaking loose (cough adrichat) will stop me from posting. (Just ignore that I haven’t posted in like a week). Without further ado.
No More Second Chances
The Master: Master List
———————————-
After collecting the little she has from her locker, they meet Jon outside. “Did you call your parents to let them know?”
“Yep! Ready to go?”
“Yes,” Damian grumbles, following the energetic boy.
“So how are you two even friends? Damian you’re super grumpy and Jon is just like a ball of energy and sunshine,” Marinette asks, walking in between the boys. (Yes, somehow the sidewalk fit three people, idk just imagine it ok?)
“Our fathers’ are friends.”
“But! He’s grown to love me,” Jon taunts in a sing-song voice.
“You’re bearable,” Damian corrects. The train ride back to Metropolis was quiet, or as quiet as a ride can be with Jon. She blocked out the world and just let her thoughts fly on the page. She was brought back to reality by Jon tugging her arm.
“Woah! That’s awesome!” Jon says, looking at the drawing. It was her, well Ladybug, and Chat Noir first bumping in front of the Eiffel Tower. “Who are they?”
She slammed the sketchbook closed and looked at her phone, March 21st. “Umm not important, I have to call someone,” Marinette says, rushing in front of the boys a bit. She dials a number, one neither boys can see, before speaking in rapid French. “Adrien did you realize it’s been a year since we finished the war?”
“Um yeah earlier today Aunt Emelie took me to visit him,” Adrien responds.
“How’d that go?”
“It was rough, but in other news I convinced Aunt Emelie to let me go to college in America.”
“That’s fantastic! I was thinking about staying here as well, cause well ya know Sabine and Tom,” Marinette shrugs, opening the lobby door.
“Makes sense, by the way, watch out Aunt Emelie adores you and she heard about your parents, she may or may not be trying to get adoption papers,” Adrien chuckles.
“I’ll decline the nicest way possible,” Marinette giggles, pressing the elevator button. “Well I’m almost home, and I have a project to work on, so I’ll talk to you sometime soon, bye love you!”
“Sooooooo, who was that?” Jon asks, slinging an arm around her shoulder.
“That was Adrien,” Marinette said, stepping out of the elevator.
“Your boyfriend?” Jon asks, drawing out the words, teasingly.
“Nope, my best friend,” Marinette clarifies. Before turning to Damian to say, “I’m going to get changed, I’ll be out in a minute.” When she came back out her hair was pulled into a messy bun, she was wearing her favorite fuzzy cropped cat sweatshirt that had cat ears on the hood and the string had pom poms on the end. She was also wearing light skinny ripped jeans.
“Mari, why didn’t you just get dressed into something comfortable?” Jon asks, pulling out the juice from the fridge.
“Because, I haven’t seen a lot of the city yet so whenever we finish making progress for today, I’m going to go out for a walk,” Marinette explained, opening her backpack.
“You should be careful, this may not be Gotham, but it’s still dangerous,” Damian says, finally looking up from his phone. He would never admit it, but his face tinted a light color of pink.
“I’ll be fine, I’ve learned self defense when I was living in Paris,” Marinette said, brushing off their worries. “Ok for this project…” (i don’t take business as an elective, so imma just gonna skip it).
It was two hours when Clark and Lois walked in, they were surprised to see Damian get along with someone so well. Marinette isn’t just anyone though, she was a sunshine.
“Hey, Damian it’s nice to see you again,” Clark said, placing a hand on his back.
“Likewise, Clark,” he responded, not looking up from their work.
“Are you staying for dinner?”
“No I should be getting home, father is strict about curfew,” Damian said, picking up his stuff.
“We have to talk about plans for tomorrow, so I’ll walk you outside,” Marinette said, standing. They walk in a tense silence for a moment before she starts speaking again. “So I think tomorrow we should work on question five through eight.”
“Where do you want to work?”
“It doesn’t really matter, but if you want, because we worked here today, we can work at your place,” Marinette suggests.
“That would be adequate,” Damian sighs, pressing the elevator button. “Good night, Marinette.”
“Good night, Damian,” she responds as the elevator’s doors close. She pads back to the apartament  and is about to open the door when he hears Jon scream. “He blushed!”
“I literally step out for a minute, and you are all talking about my nonexistent love life,” Marinette said, crossing her arms across her chest, she was leaning up against the door frame, watching the scene unfold in front of her.
“He blushed though! Trust me that’s the closest he’s ever been to having a crush,” Jon defends.
“Doubt it, it was warm in here and he was still wearing his uniform, which may I remind you is long sleeves and pants,” Marinette said, pushing herself off the doorway. “So on a different topic, what’s for dinner?”
“We were just going to order pizza,” Lois answered. (Totally forgot that Superman is vegetarian, so like ignore that.)
“Cool, I’m going to go out for a walk before dinner if that’s fine with you,” Marinette asked, moving towards her room to grab a windbreaker.
“Yes, just take your phone with you, dinner will probably be here in twenty-ish minutes,” Clark said towards her room. She grabbed what she needed, put on her shoes, and ran out the door. She had a peaceful walk, the cool air calming her down, leaving her with her thoughts. As much as her parents’ hurt her, she couldn’t help but miss them, even if it was just a bit. She missed how everything use to be before the drama that Lila brought, but it helped her realize who actually care about her for her. Time flies when lost in her thought, apparently, because the ten minute timer, she set to make sure she would be back in time, went off. She sighs before walking back the way she came.
Dinner was filled with light chatter about the day, more getting to know you things, and an explanation about how their weekly schedule is. After dinner, Jon and Marinette work on homework with Lois watching T.V. Superman had just stopped a train from crashing. Both Lois and Jon clapped and smiled right before Superman flew off the scene. Not too long after that, Clark ran back into the apartment holding a bag of groceries. Marinette shrugged and chalked it up to them being Americans
When she finished her homework, she said goodnight, did her nightly routine before falling asleep, oblivious the chaos happening in Paris that was unleashed by Sabine and Tom.

Making Do (With What Life Give Us): Part 1
Asked to me by @abrx2002
For a Daminette what if She met the wayne family young. Dick tought gymnastics and Romanian, Jason taught street skills such and spanish, Tim taught detective skills and business tactics. By the time she met damian at like 12 she was an adorable badass. They later became food friends and started dating a bit before she was ladybug. Because she knew their secret and tikki was alright with it after knowing they were also heros. Later after the class betrayal damian shows up and salg is everywhere
----------------------------------
Marinette had been going to Gotham Academy on scholarship since before her mum had died. She made a lot of friends who helped her out in the long run. That was until CPS found a permanent home for her. Right now, she was missing her brothers, well her adopted brothers, dearly as she looked at the window. A family from Paris had adopted her and now she was on her way to a new life. She thought over her life up until this point and wondered how could she have lost it all so quickly?
Young Marinette, around the age of eight, had been running to class, when she ran into Dick Grayson, the sophomore class president.
“I’m so sorry,” Marinette said picking herself up off the ground, tears glistening in the corner of her eyes.
“It’s ok there is no need to cry,” he said, crouching down to the little girl’s height.
“Oh no! I’m going to be late! Mum is going to be angry!” Marinette said tears spring from her eyes.
“No come on I’ll walk you to class, and you won’t get in trouble ok?” He asks standing holding out his hand.
“You promise?” Marinette asks, grabbing his hand.
“I wouldn’t lie to you,” Dicks says leading her to class. When he led her to class he opened the door and greeted the teacher. “Sorry Miss, but Marinette here was helping me for a school promotion video that the class presidents are putting together.”
“Of course Richard. Marinette please take your seat,” the teacher responds as sweet as honey. Marinette does as the teacher says and takes her seat. She waves to Dick as he heads to his class.
When Marinette got home that day she drew a sparkly thank you card for Dick. The next day she was going to give it to Dick after school, but when the final bell had rung and she had left her class she was stopped by a couple of fifth-graders.
“Look at little miss clutz,” one of the boys, Samuel, said cornering her in the locker room.
“Oh, what’s that?” One of the other boys, Isaac, sneered snatching the card.
“Give that back!” Marinette screamed. “That’s not for you!”
“Leave her alone she didn't do anything to you,” a darker voice said entering the locker room. Marinette room the distraction from the new voice to stop on Samuel’s foot and grab the card.
“Come on guys, move! I’m not dealing with Jason!” Isaac said, grabbing Samuel by the arm and dragging him away.
“Are you ok, Pixie-Pop?” The voice from earlier, apparently Jason, asked coming around a corner.
“Ya,” she says looking at the ground. “But I was going to give this to Dick before I left, but I can’t.”
“Grayson?” Jason asks sitting on the ground leaning up against a locker across from her.
“Yes, how’d you know?” She asks sitting on the ground.
“He’s my brother,” Jason sighs. “Why’d you make him a card anyway?”
“He got me out of a tardy yesterday and didn’t yell at me when I ran into him,” Marinette explains. “Would you be able to give it to him?”
“Of course I promise I’ll give it to him, Pixie-Pop!” Jason said standing up as she held out her card.
“Thank you, Jason!” Marinette said, smiling before skipping away.
Jason leaves after grabbing his homework from his locker and heads to the car Alfred was driving. When he gets in the car Dick is already there. “Here you go,” Jason says, handing him the handmade card. “From a little Asian girl.”
“Marinette?” Dick asks taking the card.
“Ya I think so, how do you know her?” Jason asks, slouching.
“She’s a sweet little clumsy girl. She had the start of a panic attack when she realized she was going to be late,” Dick said, looking at the glittery card. Tim slid in the car next to his brothers.
“Who was going to be late?” Tim asks closing the door.
“A little girl Dick met and saved from a tardy,” Jason says.
“That makes sense, but how’d you meet this little girl?” Tim asks, buckling his seat belt.
"She was cornered by a group of fifth-graders," Jason explains nonchalantly looking out his window.
"She gets bullied," Tim asks.
"Apparently for clumsy nature," Jason responds.
"We could help her," Dick says.
"Ya and that would go over like a fart in church. Just think, hey little girl, we can teach you to fight if you get in this car and come to our house," Jason says sarcastically, looking Dick like he is dumb. Well, at least his suggestion was dumb.
"I guess so," Dick says, his usually bright smile turned to a frown. After that, the rest of the car ride was filled with a heavy silence.
When Marinette had gotten to her family apartment she called home from school, her mum laid on the couch surrounded by multiply empty bottles. She tries to quietly walk to her room, in hopes her mum wouldn't hear her enter late. "Nette, why are you home late?" the drunken woman asks, sitting up slowly. "It sounds like you're avoiding me, are you in trouble?"
"No mum, I just wanted to let you sleep," Marinette responds, trying to walk to her room faster.
"Are you sure, because it looks like you have a hole in your uniform," the woman says, now standing in front of her.
"I'm sorry mum, I tripped. I didn't mean to rip my tights," Marinette says, backing up slowly, almost curling in on herself.
"You're so clumsy! Do you know how much the goddamn uniforms cost?! No! because you're an ungrateful brat!" she screamed. She smacked Marinette across the face. "Get out! I don't want to see your face!"
"I'm sorry, mum! Please don't kick me out again! The hole is fine I can sew it!" Marinette pleaded, earning herself a kick.
"And risk us looking poor!? I don't think so now, get! out!" she says, throwing Marinette towards the door. She wished her dad had stuck around, maybe her mother wouldn't be like this. Her father, she doesn't know much about him, left a couple of weeks before Marinette was born. Her mum had resented Marinette since she had been born. The only family Marinette had in the world and her mum treated her like this.
Marinette was glad it was close to summer so she wouldn't freeze on the streets and she hoped that the Gotham Rogues or heroes wouldn't find her. She found a nice little alleyway and took out her pencil and homework and started doing her homework. As she completed the last of it, she finally let the tears slip down her cheeks and onto the paper. She fell asleep to the sounds of sirens and honking horns.
She woke up early the next morning to the sun shining down on her. Her stomach grumbled so she stood up and left the alley where she saw a grocery store just down the street with apples out front. She knew her mum would get in trouble if people knew how she slept outside last night or how she actually got those bruises. She walked by the grocery store and grabbed an apple and ran down the street toward school.
School that day was normal, she caught a glimpse of a black long-hair boy with blue eyes looking at her in the hall, he kinda looked like a grumpier Dick. After final bell, her teacher had pulled her aside to ask about her check and Marinette explained that a kid had hit hurt at the park after school. and the other bruises had been because she's clumsy. The teacher had given her a weary look and told her to head home.
"Mum, I'm home," Marinette says, opening the door. She had been home a bit earlier since she ran all the way home. Her mum was passed out at the table, bills under her head. Her mum works hard every night and when she came home in the mornings she was either high, drunk, very sore, or all of the above. She got paid a decent amount for her work, but most of it went to bills and alcohol. Marinette was going to the academy on scholarship. Today her mum was high, and probably wouldn't be aware of much until dinner. Marinette walked to the fridge to see if she could make anything for when her mum woke up. There were some green beans, carrots, and sauce in the fridge, and she knew she had rice in the cabinets. She was going to take some money and pick up some chicken to make a stir-fry. She had been cooking for a while or else she wouldn't eat because her mum was always too tired to cook.
After she grabbed some chicken and onions, she walked to the front to pay. This is a small, family-run business she goes to because the prices are usually better. "Sir, this morning I didn't have money on me and I took an apple. I'm sorry, but may I pay for that now," Marinette says. She is standing on her tiptoes trying to give the man the money.
The man, the father of the owner smiles softly. The poor girl was bruised on her face and bit on her arms. "Thank you for apologizing, but I'll pay for this. Please come back if you have a problem at home," the man says with a small, but warm smile.
"Mum tries her best. I just want her not to be angry when she wakes up," Marinette says, putting the five-dollar bill into the tip jar. "I'm sorry again about the apple, mum was too tired to cook last night. Thank you for everything."
"It was honorable for you to come back and try to pay for the apple, not many would," he says, waving to the girl as she leaves the store.
She makes the food and by the time it's done her mum is up and hungry. As she sat at the bottle filled table, her mum looked at the food. "Did you take my hard-earned money without my permission?" the woman asks stabbing a piece of chicken.
"I.. I just wanted you to be happy," Marinette said, a stray tear landing on her plate.
"I would be happy if you didn't take my money without my permission. Money doesn't grow on trees!" she screamed by now Marinette was eating a bit faster fearing the inevitable. "Go to your room, you're wasting too much food."
"Yes, sorry mum," Marinette says, sliding off the chair. She grabs her backpack off her chair and walks with her head down to her room. Her room is attached to the fire escape, so she sits looking over the city and does her homework. Her mum was home tonight, so she couldn't even go back out later and finish her dinner. After about an hour or so, the sound of splintering wood rang throughout the apartment. Around five minutes later she hears her mum's blood-curdling scream. Marinette, not wanting to get hurt, runs up the fire escape. She holds her breath as she hears heavy footsteps walk around the house, but no soon after she sees two black cars pull away.
She runs inside and sees her mum's body, bloody, on the floor. She runs over and pulls her mum's head onto her lap. She leans over her, hugging her while crying. "I'm so sorry, mum."
Her mum raises a bloody hand to her daughter's face. Her once beautiful dark brown hair, now blood-soaked. "Mari...nette, I... am sorry.... you will.... do great things one day. I... lo.. love you," she says before her bright blue eyes look off far into the distance and dim.
When the cops found her twenty minutes later, Marinette still sat there, rocking back and forth asking her mum to come back to her. "Excuse me, dear, we have to take her now," the nice cop-lady said, trying to pick up the now bloody girl.
"No please! She's all I have left. She didn't deserve this! She said she loved me! If she loved me she wouldn't have left like daddy! Please is she ok?" Marinette screamed, trying to hug her mum's corpse in hopes it was just a terrible nightmare.
"Dear, we're going to wait in the car, ok? The nice paramedics are going to do everything they can," she says, picking the girl, who should weigh more, up. She walked with the girl down the three flights of stairs. Outside there were some reporters along with a couple of the bat family including Nightwing, Red Hood, and the newest Robin. The two eldest birds paused, looking at the poor bloody bluenette.
"Is she hurt?" Nightwing asks, looking at the bruises.
"Besides some bruises from what looks like domestic abuse," the nice cop-lady answers the hero.
"No, mum was just tired! She would never hurt me on purpose! It was my fault, I shouldn't have tripped then she wouldn't have gotten angry," Marinette explains, grabbing Nightwing's hand. She cries while pleading. "She said she loves me! She didn't mean to hurt me!"
"It's ok," Nightwing says, leaning down to hug the girl. He rubs small circles into her back.
"Dear, it's time to go, were going to take you to the station before you go to the group home, ok?" the cop-lady says slowly.
"But what about mum? She's fine, right?" Marinette asks, breaking away from Nightwing.
"I'm sorry honey, she's gone. But don't you worry she loved you," the nice cop-lady explained.
"No... she's all I have left. She can't be gone! She left me!" Marinette screams, running away from everyone around her.
"We got a runner!" Robin says. "We'll go get her." The bat fam runs down the street after where they thought she went.
"Nightwing, you know her?" Batman asks, looking out for the girl. He sees her but doesn't say anything, wanting her to have some time and for him wanting answers.
"She's the little third grader that I helped get out a tardy," he explains, looking at the poor girl.
"The one you wanted to teach self-defense to?" Hood asks, getting ready to jump down there.
"Yes, that's the one," he explains.
"Can we foster her?" Robin asks, looking at Bruce.
"She has no one else," Hood pleads.
"She has blue eyes and black hair," Nightwing adds.
"We'll talk about it later," Bruce says, dropping down to where she sits. They grab her and head back to her apartment. She gets in the car quietly, her eyes blank and cheeks tear-stained, and bruised. After the cruiser pulled away and the reporters had left, the bat fam headed home.
"So can we have a little sister?" Dick asks, plopping down in the spinning chair in the Batcave.
"You didn't let us get sent to a group home, would you really let that sweet little get sent there?" Jason pleads
"I'll see what I can do," Bruce grumbles before leaving.
The next day during school, which Marinette didn't show up for, understandable, Bruce, Alfred, and the Wayne's lawyer head to the police department to pick up the poor girl. When they walk in everyone literally stops and stares. "Are you officer Kansinsky?" Bruce asks as he got to the back.
"Yes this is her, how may I help you?" she asks, shaking his hand.
"We're here about Marinette Jiayang. We would like to foster her until she can find a permanent home," Bruce says.
"Of course! Do you have the papers?" she says. "She had a rough night, right now she's sleeping on the couch in the commissioner's office. What made you want to help her?"
"Well, you see I actually love children. I have three, Dick, Jason, and Tim, they're adopted. They convinced me to take her in because they already help her at school and she deserves the same chance at life as my sons do," Bruce explains, holding out the papers.
"Ok well this seems to be in order, but you're not off the hook that easily. CPS may drop by unannounced, ya know to catch you as natural as possible. I'm going to go grab her," Officer Kansinsky explained. After a couple of minutes, she reappeared with a sleepy Marinette in her arms.
"Bye-bye nice cop-lady," Marinette says sleepily with a small wave.
"Bye-bye, Mari, I hope you enjoy your time with the Waynes," she said, kissing the sleepy girl's head. She then hands her to Bruce and he smiles softly. She had been through hell just like him and his sons, but he will try and make the most of her time with him and his family.
"Alfred, your newest grandchild," Bruce says, buckling her into her seat.
"Sir, you might have a problem," Alfred says, driving to the boy's school. "You need to pick her up a uniform, her uniform is too bloody to clean, and the work she missed from today."
"Ok, make sure the boys don't wake her up, she didn't sleep last night," Bruce explains, getting out of the cars and walks toward the entrance. When he gets to the front desk he says "I'm here to change guardianship, pick up a uniform, and work."
"Who's guardianship?" the receptionist says, pulling up the files on his computer.
"Marinette Jiayang, I'm her new guardian. I also need to buy her a new uniform. Am I able to do that here? Also, she wasn't in school today, how can I pick up her work?" Bruce asks.
"I'll call the teacher about the homework. What size do you need for Miss Marinette? Will her name be changed?" the receptionist asked.
"I don't know about the size, a small, maybe? The name change is up to her, but I don't think so," Bruce says.
The receptionist gets up and leaves. When he comes back a couple of minutes later with three uniforms. "These are covered by her scholarship," he explains, handing him the uniforms.
"Hello, I have Marinette's stuff. I'm a teacher aid," shes says, handing him the work. "There are also some cards and good wishes with the work. Will she be back tomorrow?"
"Thank you. I don't think she'll be back till Monday," Bruce says.
"Is she ok?" she asks.
"She's sleeping in the car right now, she was up all night," Bruce explains then turns to the receptionist. "Can I take my three sons out right now? I want them to meet their sister."
"Of course," he said, picking up a phone. "Richard Greyson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake to the office please, you're dismissed." After the boys got to the office, they headed to the car. They were told to be quiet because Marinette was sleeping.
"Miss Marinette, it's time to head inside," Alfred said from the front. The rest sat frozen, not wanting to startle the poor girl. Marinette rubbed her eyes with a yawn.
"Where... where am I? Jason, Dick, is that you?" Marinette asks, oddly calm while looking around.
"Yes, it's us. We convinced our father to foster for you," Dick says with a smile.
"I'm hungry, I haven't had a full meal in a couple of days," she answers as Alfred opens the door for her to get out. "Mum got mad last night and said I couldn't finish dinner."
"What about the night before?" Bruce asks, holding out his hand for her to take.
"I had tripped and tore my tights. Mum got angry and told me to get out. I stole an apple the next morning after I finished my homework and fell asleep," Marinette explained as Alfred opened the door, her new adopted brothers following behind her.
"Did you sleep outside, but that's dangerous," he says.
"Yes, I slept in a quiet alley and woke up to the sun. When is dinner going to be?" Marinette asks, looking around the entrance.
"It could be within the hour, Miss Marinette. I'll show you to your room," Alfred said, taking Marinette's hand to lead her upstairs.
After the car pulled away and Marinette was out of sight, Dick exclaimed. "Can I teach her self-defense?"
"No! That's no fair! I want to teach her self-defense!" Jason whined.
"How about we see if she wants to learn first. Now, boys time for homework. I'm guessing Marinette will join you after," Bruce said walking to his office.
Around ten minutes later, Marinette appeared wearing one of Jason's shirts that could count as a dress. "Miss Marinette Master Bruce has informed me that we will get you clothes you can wear tomorrow morning along with all other essentials," Alfred said, pulling out a seat next to the rest of the boys.
"Will I be able to have anything from home?" Marinette asks, scooching to the edge of her chair so she could swing her legs.
"I'll talk to Master Bruce about it later. If it would make you more comfortable, I feel like I can arrange it," Alfred said, handing her a pencil. "Now do your work, Miss." He finished before walking away to prepare dinner.
"Thank you, guys! I probably would still be at the police station or put at a group home if you hadn’t talked to your dad," Marinette said with a sad smile.
"We were once in the same position," Tim said. "We haven't met yet, but my name is Tim and I’m your new brother."
"Hi! I'm Marinette!" she says, smiling before looking down at her page.
"How are you feeling Pixie-Pop? We heard what happened yesterday," Jason says.
"I'm tired and I miss mum, but before she went bye-bye she seemed happy," Marinette said with a sad smile.
Dinner came and Marinette ate three portions, she was malnourished. Alfred tried to warn her to slow down so she wouldn't throw up, she listened. She went to bed early.

Sorry it took so long, I hope you enjoy. Three more parts coming out soon.

Note
I can imagine the chaotic energy at that dinner with Wade and the BatFam.
Chaotic indeed my dear readers.
Master List
Vanessa is a strong woman and no one can deny it, but when she heard her daughter was alive, she cried.
She put on a modest outfit, and against Wade’s complaining made him put in nice clothes.
When the approached the Manor there was yelling from inside that immediately stopped when they knocked. There stood the whole family, lined up.
“Mom? You were dead!” “And so we’re you, I guess it runs in the family.” “Actually I’ve never died so it’s just you.”
After hugs and introductions, they were all called to the dining hall. It was awkward as hell, but the fun didn’t start until after dinner.
Jason threw a pie, he lost a bet to Marinette, Tim, who just so happened to be awake enough to dodge. But a distracted Wade wasn’t so lucky.
A food fight ensued.
Bruce left during it decided that he was called to a meeting.
Everyone stopped as soon as Alfred and Vanessa entered the room, cuz he’s just that type of person.
“Wade! I swear to god, put that food down or you’ll be walking home!”
“This mess better be cleaned or no patrol,” Alfred said before leaving the room.
As they were cleaning up Marinette took a hand full of food walked over Damian hugged him and preceded to put the food in his hair. Marinette earned food to the face for that.
wade gave damian the shovel talk after everything was cleaned.
It went along the lines of this...
“You hurt her, I don’t care how times I would have to regrow my limb. I will make your life living hell. I’m your worst nightmare.”
“Umm, dad—“ “no honey let him have his moment.”

Making Do (With What Life Give Us): Part 4
So last part, don’t be afraid to talk to me, I love interacting with you all. I hope you enjoyed this short (15k word) fic. Without further ado, I give you Part 4.
----------------------------------------------------
As her friendship with Adrien grew she realized that he and Chat Noir are the same person. They had kissed during Dark Cupid, turns out they both remember it and found it awkward and decided on being friends. They would have won the gaming competition if Marinette hadn't given her spot up to Max. She had won his father's hat competition without prior knowledge of their friendship, in fact, Gabriel had offered a scholarship which she would have taken if not had it been for her need to disappear to be Ladybug. But she did take commissions from her new uncle, Jagged Stone. Chloe and she had become co-class presidents together again and everyone was quite happy. She also joined them in battle as Queen Bee with the promise of secrecy. Adrien and Chloe had officially unofficially adopted the two blondes into their family. Her parents are super protective over them especially after hearing about their nightly escapades as heroes. As a group, they were close, with the help of her family, to figuring out who Hawkmoth is.
After an awkward conversation that Marinette did not in fact like Nino more than a friend, he joined the friend group with the later addition of Alya, his new girlfriend. Throughout it all, Damian and her family had started to come to Paris more, thankfully no one from her friends besides Chloe and Adrien had met them. She didn't want to tell Nino and Alya because of the Ladyblog, Alya had a tendency to stretch the truth and to do practically anything to get a good story. She didn't fully trust them and with good reason and it all started at the beginning of her third year in Paris.
A new student joined the class, which would have been fine besides the lies she was constantly telling. "I'll meet you in the park in ten minutes," she had said to Adrien.
"You wouldn't believe what she just said," Adrien snickers to Marinette as she comes out of hiding.
"How'd you know I was there?" Marinette asks, sitting beside him.
"Chloe texted me saying you felt something suspicious about her," Adrien said.
"And with good intention, she's clearly lying," Marinette pouted.
"Obviously, she's best friends with Ladybug even though she just moved here? How does that even make sense?" Adrien asks. "So I'm not saying that you should, but I'm going to meet up with 'Ladybug's best friend' I feel like she would LOVE to catch up with her, don't you think?"
"I'll let you know what my dear friend says," Marinette smirks. Adrien and the rest of her brothers had started to rub off on her.
"I don't recommend it, I would wait to see what she says first," Tikki whispers from Mari's purse. "Or you could interrupt as you depending on what she says."
"We'll see," Marinette said, standing up. As she entered the park she heard the liar talking.
She coos. "Ladybug isn't even the most powerful hero, it's Volpina, the holder of the fox miraculous." She pauses while she pulls out her necklace. "This is the fox miraculous, it used to be my grandmother's, but she passed it down to me. I let Ladybug have her time to make a name for herself because we're best friends."
"You've been here for like two days," Adrien started.
"And," Marinette says, walking up. "That was a necklace released in Gabriel's last line. Also why would you tell a total stranger about something, 'so important' something that is supposed to be a secret," Marinette said, sitting down beside Adrien.
"Sabine, Tom, and Chloe are waiting at home for lunch, want to come?" Marinette asks Adrien.
"I would love to!" the liar interrupted, standing up.
"And you are?" Marinette asks.
"Sorry Mari, my dad wants me to come home today," Adrien said, standing.
"It's fine, just remember mama and papa would be heartbroken if they don't see you soon," Marinette said walking towards the entrance.
"Hey I've been busy, could you imagine how much more busy I would be if we hadn't threatened to dye my hair?" Adrien laughs, remembering that wonderful weekend.
"What do you mean?" Lila asked, racing up behind them.
"A couple of weeks ago, Adrien wanted to have a sleepover with our friend group, but his dad was being himself and decided that he couldn't," Marinette started, prompting Adrien to finish. "They snuck in through the window with some semi-permanent dye and the dyed my hair lime green. I threatened to shave my head if he kept forcing me to stay in the house."
"You're a bad influence on him!" Lila shouts, grabbing her arm.
"All I'm showing him is that he doesn't have to live his life as a prisoner in his own house," Marinette responds, pulling her arm from Lila's clutch.
"And I couldn't be happier," Adrien says as his car pulls up. "Bye Mari, we still on for after school?"
"Yes, Mama said if you don't learn how to back soon she'll disown me," Marinette laughs, hugging him.
"She can't disown you and even if she did Bruce would be more than happy to take you back," Adrien snickers.
"So are we never going to talk about this again?" Lila asked, the two friends stopping in their tracks.
"As long as you don't lie, we could start a friendship," Marinette smiles. "See you in class, Lila. Welcome to our class." They wave and walk there separate ways.
Stuff started to go downhill from there, Alya and Nino believed Lila lies over Marinette and their friend group them. It was a dark time in Marinette's life, everyone besides Chloe and Adrien. The retaliation that the class set against them was beyond tolerable. Gabriel still made Adrien deal with Lila because apparently 'she is all the rage right now.' Marinette had been more unhappy than usual so Marinette's parents decided that she needed a break from the drama, but on her last day before her vacation when everything went to hell.
"I can't believe she was even let into this school!" Alya loudly exclaimed during lunch.
Lila's sniffled, she had been distressed because Marinette 'supposedly' made fun of her for her past, "What do you mean?"
"Well before she became a jealous wench we were best friends, I just so happen to know almost everything about her," Alya snickers.
"What do you mean? She has secrets?" Lila asks, rubbing her eyes to wipe her tears away.
"She used to live in America, where her dad left her before she was born. Her mother was a stripper and died because she couldn't pay for her drugs and was shot," Alya laughs. "She lived on the streets until Sabine and Tom adopted her. Then she became friends with Chloe and Adrien for their money and connection, obviously. She then manipulated Adrien, Lila's soulmate, to hate her."
"I recommend you silence yourself before I break your elbows and give them to Titus," A voice comes from the entry of the cafeteria. "You're saying only the bad, most of them exaggerated and false.
"And you are... someone she paid to pretend to like her?" Lila asked.
"No, she doesn't need to pay me, even if she could she wouldn't be able to. She is my best friend," he said.
"Ummmm... No! I'm her best friend and she's never spoken of you," Alya said, crossing her arms.
"A real friend would check her statements before announcing these lies. Speaking of the Angel, where is she?" he asked.
"You must not be talking about her because she's an actual demon," Lila sniffles. "Have you heard the things she's done to me?"
"And I don't believe you," He said.
"Thanks, Demon. I never needed any of them all I needed was my closest and most trustworthy friends," Marinette said after she had run and hugged him.
"Hey, Angel, it's good to see you again," he said into her hair.
"And who are you, 'Demon', you never answered," Alya asked, putting air quotes around 'Demon'.
"I'm Damian, Marinette's best friend," Damian said, an arm wrapped around her shoulder.
"That's debatable, we both know I'm her better friend," Adrien snickers.
"Nope. I was her first friend," Damian answers.
"But first is the worst, and as being her second friend, I'm the best," Chloe says, smiling.
"Come on guys, you get to spend all the time with me, let me spend some time with Damian. I haven't seen him since Thanksgiving," Marinette says, snuggling into his embrace.
"Good job making the conversation all about you," Lila remarks.
"Whatever... come on let's go to class, the sooner this ends, the sooner I can leave," Marinette says and they turn to walk to class.
"Who the hell does she think she is?" Lila said, crossing her arms.
"A jealous, psychotic, gold-digging, wench," Alya answers.
"With good tastes though, did you see that hot piece of man that defended her," Lila said.
"Dark and brooding," Alya adds before they head to class. The lesson was normal, glares and disappointing glances sent her way, as she designed. With fifteen minutes before dismissal for the day, a knock came at the door.
"I'm here for Marinette," Damian said, entering the room.
"Oh thank God, I don't know how much more of this crap I can take," She responds in English. "Bye Chloe, Adrien, love you both, see you next week." She hears her friends respond with a bye as the door closes.
The trip went well and the time was well spent. Marinette released her first line while in Gotham under, the alias she used to be known as, Sunshine. They had a party held in her honor where for the first time ever, she showed her face to the public and the Ice Prince and Princess Sunshine became an official couple. She melted his heart, as said by a majority of the news outlets.
She had also made a speech at the closing of the ball. "So honestly, I just want to thank Bruce, who was kind enough to foster for me, Damian, who was a supportive food friend turned boyfriend, my brother, Jason, Tim and Drake, who taught me to live my life. Along with my two best friends, who I met in Paris, Chloe Bourgeois and Adrien Agreste. My adopted parents, Tom and Sabine, who only have my best interest at heart. Last but not least I would love to thank my antagonists all my classmates, who I'm too mature to call out by name, especially the liar, you know who you are."
The girls watch in disbelief. Lila was crying actual tears as she saw her lie-kingdom begin to fall. Alya cries as she sees her career end.
When Marinette returned a couple of days later, Marinette walked into class early, smiling. Alya stood there, arms crossed and glared ready. "You are a petty waste of--"
"I could have been petty and released all your names," Marinette says, trying to walk past the red-head.
"No, that is just common courtesy, it was just petty to bring us up in your lies," Lila said.
"You want to see petty, fine," Marinette said, dropping her bag on Bustier's desk. She pulls out her notebook and rips it.
"So... why should we care," Lila asked.
"That. That right there ripped up and at the bottom of the waste bin is our end of the year trip," Marinette said, pointing to the waste bin.
"You! You petty bitch!" Lila screams.
"Yep, and proud of it," Marinette smiles and takes a seat, but not before placing a stack of papers on their desk.
"Also this is for you," Adrien says, walking into class. He places a stack of papers on Alya and Lila's desk.
"And what are those," Lila says, significantly paler than normal.
"Well from me, those are lawsuits from my parents, Jagged Stone, and the Waynes," Marinette said, smiling as she took a seat.
"Mine is a court-mandated cease and desist order for your Ladyblog, for spreading rumors about the Agreste Brand. For you, Lila, your papers are termination papers, for spreading false rumors," Adrien said.
"W... What, you can't do this the Ladyblog is my life work!" Alya screamed.
"Who cares about you!? My mum is going to send me back to military school if she finds out I got in trouble for lying, please don't do this," Lila exclaimed, falling on the ground.
"I gave you a way out last year, you didn't take it," Adrien said, sitting beside Chloe and Marinette.
"It's all your fault! If you hadn't been such a bad influence on him I could have had it all," Lila screamed, attempting to jump at him.
"Nope! you couldn't have," Damian said entering the room.
"Lila Rossi, you're under arrest for working the terrorist, Hawkmoth and using celebrities' names to get free things," the officer said.
"Damian, what are you doing here?" Marinette asks, standing up to greet her boyfriend.
"Father and I are here on business," he responds hugging her,
"And does any of that business have to do with you helping me?" Marinette asks, smiling into his embrace.
"Some of it the other half was actual, WE work. I'm going to be working in this wing of WE when I graduate," Damian smiles.
"Sounds great, Demon," Marinette says, breaking the embrace to look him in the eyes.
"I can't wait to start this next chapter of my life with you by my side, Angel," Damian said, kissing the crown of her head.
Extra (how Damian realized Marinette was definitely not just a friend):
Marinette had come to the ball (not really party just really big party) wearing a light blue off the shoulder cocktail dress, looking as beautiful as normal. He had been enjoying himself until he saw it. Normally he’s not one to be jealous, but the way she was smiling at this guy was bothering him. Damian found Jason and told him. “I have a suspicious feeling about that guy.”
“Are you it’s not because how he’s making her smile?” Jason asks, nudging him with his elbow.
“And why would that bother me!” Damian asks.
“Well remember that time in the gym, right after Marinette became Ladybug and you found out she had a partner,” Jason asks, Damian gave a nod, yes. “Well today could be that day. The longer you wait the less chance you have with her.” He finishes before walking away.
Extra (how they became a couple):
He was utterly and completely hecked --gotta keep it family friendly ( ; -- he was in love with his best friend and it looks like someone had already beaten him to it. At the thought he walked away to the balcony, failing to notice the bluenette, who had seen him sad and decided to check up on him.
When she found him he was leaning on the guardrail he was holding a glass of grape juice, not being the legal drinking his brothers found it funny to give him it. “What’s the matter Dami?” Marinette asks, putting a hold on his shoulder.
“It nothing, I just realized that I’ve been missing who's been in front of me this whole time and now its too late,” he sighs, taking a swig from his glass.
“Missing who?” Marinette asks, placing her head on his shoulder.
“You, you’re the best thing that’s happened to me and it’s too late now,”  Damian explained.
“What do you mean it’s too late?” Marinette said, lifting her head.
“Didn’t that guy ask you out?” Damian asks, standing up straighter.
“What? No Dami. He’s a client,” Marinette explained, pulling him into a hug.
“Wait seriously?” Damian says. “God, I’m so stupid.”
“Yes Damian, if you hadn’t noticed I’m head over hill for you,” Marinette says, kissing his cheek.
“Seriously!?” Damian asks, picking her up in a spin.
“If I didn’t know Adrien I would say you’re the most oblivious person I know,” Marinette giggles into his embrace.
