Imagine you watch these family friendly minecraft youtubers. Not necessarily for children, but it's wholesome entertainment for all ages. Then they say "hey, we're going to start a quick little hardcore series! Three lives and you're out!" And you think "ok yeah this sounds fun, I'll watch it."

And it is silly goofy funtimes! The first death is hilarious, and it's still the good clean fun you're used to. As it goes on, the dynamics between characters are getting interesting and more people are losing lives but it's still lighthearted fun.

AND THEN SUDDENLY IT'S GAME OF THRONES

Loyalty is sworn through blood oaths. Armies are assembled. There are epic large-scale battles. People are dying off for real and it's actually really impactful. One of them is roleplaying his grief so convincingly that his friends think something is wrong irl. There are deep, heart-wrenching betrayals that players are actually devastated by. None of this is scripted, by the way. All of the character arcs, narrative foils, and foreshadowing was completely organic and by accident.

AND THEN THE ENDING

So you know at the end of the first Hunger Games book where the two who have been together from the beginning have won, and the megalomaniacal evil game runners expect them to kill each other, but they find a way out of it? Instead of the game runners demanding they kill each other, it's the ghosts of all of their dead friends and enemies screaming for their blood. And instead of finding a way out of it, the last two go back to the burned-out remains of their home and reluctantly punch each other to death. And the whole time they're laughing and crying and apologizing to each other, and the winner is immediately so overcome with grief that he throws himself off a cliff to his death.

AND THEN THEY ALL GO BACK TO MAKING THEIR WHOLESOME FAMILY-FRIENDLY MINECRAFT CONTENT

I hate that people make posts about how people should be writing something a certain way or prioritizing their time making content for certain groups or adhering to absolute canon for specific instances. Blitzø vs. Charlie

why the little guy comes out on top.

We have two stories set in the same universe with two different leading characters who have both not long started up their own business.

Yet they're so different.

Blitzø is highly animated, obnoxious and aggressive with little regard for personal space, combative and sarcastic but dismissive too. It's easy to see him as mean spirited, annoying and an attention seeker, but for many attention seekers, attention is attention, good or bad, question is why are they like this?

What makes him arguably so likeable is that he's allowed to be annoying and make mistakes, as overbearing as he is its undeniable how much he wants his team and found family around him, his examples of compassion, support, good leadership and how hard he works to make thing work even at his own expense are clear. Then there's the major trauma that continues to unfold. He's also comical.

Blitzø has numerous connections and can place himself anywhere he doesn't belong. He has history in many places and gets around.

Blitzø and fellow lead Moxxie have the classic buddy cop setup. They're two very different people, Blitzø being the overbearing torment leader and Moxxie being the nervous, shadowed and more professional one, what elevates this common dynamic is knowing more about the characters, both are working hard at this new business, they take lives and enable angry sinners, Moxxie is doing what he knows dispite feelings often being mixed and Blitzø is in a position where this idea has to work, nothing tells us that this is his dream job, he gives off the impression of self employment seeming the only way forward at this point, something many may relate to.

We didn't need to know Blitzø's backstory to see that his desperation is a driving force. His business is entirely dependent on a reluctant exchange of sex for a temporary key to the door, an arrangement that was awkwardly made because what was the alternative? Blitzø placed himself between a rock and a hard place.

Though the plot digresses it has leeway to as Blitzø has to pull stings in order to run his business, he has little power but he does have a clue and knows how to shortcut his way up, however how far is up when sitting at the bottom of the social pyramid?

Charlie is nice. She's is friendly, quirky, isn't 'bossy' and she has the resources to be accommodating, she's a princess who believes there's good in everyone, they just need a break? That's why she set up her business? That or she wants to deal with injustice? Both work yet she seems to lack a clue, work ethic or fighting spirit. There has been no tough decision making and Charlie shoots down her own attempts at being assertive then moves on as if nothing happened, so if she did step up to someone, everyone's a dbag and she isn't so good for her, she can't go wrong. She is shallow but not to a fault, it's just a bit of dizziness, but she's not particularly naive.

Neutral doesn't equal grounded.

Charlie and Vaggie lack chemistry, they also lack content. They could be flatmates or coworkers because there's little to tell us that they're even friends other than Vaggie playing the role of the sensible one in the group, a role needed since Charlie is far from that. Little tells us that they're girlfriends, we don't see any leisure time between the two of them, intimate or wholesome, no casual chat, no known shared interest. The backstory given to Vaggie and her first meeting with Charlie offer a kind landlord and greatful resident dynamic.

Charlie doesn't appear to have any connections, it's like she, like the sinners, manifested one day, though we know this not to be true down to her having parents. The relationship with her parents is fine as much as the series has tried to place angst there and we have yet to meet anyone from her past, she seems like an adult (her and Vaggie go back years) and she's nice a d outgoing enough, where are her friends and what was she doing prior to the hotel?

Charlie having what may seems a pipedream and being able to set it up without challenge or sacrifice because she's privilege takes away from any progressive journey, though privilege doesn't have to be a take away, it is in Charlie's case because everything is layed out already, she sets out to rehabilitation sinners, yet she barely interacts with her targets.

Again with the landlord dynamic, there's barely any reason for any of these apparent acquaintances to hang out, had she been seen working to try to rehabilitate those in her hotel, good, but no.

The plot digression is immediate and there is a lot going on, so much so that it renders Charlie's work a sidenote. The leading challenges she faces are her own cluelessness and 'stubborn old people' disagreeing with her, rather than the countless less fortunate she could and frankly, taking into account the plot, should be helping.

Different is good, yet both of these seen to stir in a matching direction

Both attempted to set up an underdog and sympathetic protagonist

one is achieving this pretty well.

Beach day with Bob, Mama, and little man and the boys are off making sandcastles while mama gets to watch and read a book. Then the boys decide to be little trouble makers and drag Mama into the water for a splash fight

So cute. It’s still early days too. So when Bob extends the invitation out he gets really tongue tied and nervous.

“I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go to the beach on Sunday?” You’re halfway through making his morning coffee when you look up to see Bob blushing bashfully as can be as he rubs the back of his head nervously. “My coworkers and I, we like to do a beach day together and have a few drinks and have a barbecue.”

It’s a really sweet offer that you really can’t refuse when it’s as wholesome as it is.

“I’ll uh—yeah I’d love to.” Bob thinks for a second that he’s actually secured the bag. “But—“ Oh. Oh god here it comes. “My son, it’s just mean and him so I don’t have anyone to look—“ You don’t even get to finish your sentence before Bob is interrupting as politely as he can.

“Bring him, yeah it’s a family friendly event. The Hard Deck has a bunch of kids colouring in’s and stuff for after we’re beached out.”

So that’s exactly what you do. And don’t think for a second Bradley and Jake aren’t giving Bob the hardest time in the most brotherly way possible.

“How’s it going over there mama?” Jakes Shouting across the sand at you while you lounge in the sun and read your book. It’s nice to just sit and soak up the vitamin D. Bob just wants to die from embarrassment—he didn’t think to mention that Hangman was unapologetically a hard core flirt. “Wanna join us for a game of dogfight football?”

“I’m good here, thank you though.” You told up your book to signal that you were happy where you were. But then you look over to see Bob and who you only assume is Phoenix, Bobs front seater building a sandcastle just off to the side with your son.

Once you have Bob in your line of sight you don’t stay out for very long before you venture over to see what your little architect had created.

“Woah! That’s a pretty cool sandcastle baby.”

“Bob and Phoenix helped me with it.” He’s a shy little thing, so seeing him this content around new people was pretty exciting. “I’m gonna go get some water to fill the mote up.”

“Okay, I’ll come with you.” Bob comes with you as well. Any excuse to spend any time with you. “You know, he doesn’t come out of his shell all that much since his dad died. But he seems to really click with you.”

“He’s a funny dude.” Bob remarks while he watched the five year old fill his bucket on the shore line. “Also—heads up.” It was a premeditated attack. Your son came racing your way with his sand castle bucket full of water to spill all over you.

“Oh my god!” It was freezing, but you grinned as wide as you could before ducking down to pick your son up over your shoulder. “What am I gonna do with you hey?” But it’s in that moment Bob picks up the now discarded and empty bucket—refills it, and just waits for you to realise. “Bob, no don’t you even think about it.”

“I’m sorry, I made the kid a deal.” He shrugs before tipping the cool ocean water all over you. It’s a mess of squeals from both you and your son and Bob as you all run a muck down by the waters edge.

Meanwhile, Rooster and Phoenix watch on.

“Wonder when the wedding will be?” Bradley chuckles. Natasha rolls her eyes and slaps his exposed chest. He fakes a blow at the contact. “Oof—“

“He hasn’t even asked her on a date yet—let’s get to that first.”

Standing in line with her two best friends, Y//N was electric with nerves. She had been operating on adrenaline throughout the day. When her friend told her who would be at the Writers convention. H.R. Wells, an author she had loved since he made his debut.

His rich storytelling, of crime fighting, falling in love, and the idea of family being more than blood was the perfect formula for Y/N to become a fan. It was around her 3rd reread of his debut novel that a story began formulating in her own head.

What started out as a small romance story turned into a 3 book series and characters, and suddenly, Y/N began to write and plot.

So waiting in line waiting to meet the man that was the source inspiration and having the opportunity to thank him for that was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. In a flash, she was at the front of the line where a kind older woman gave her a warm smile. "Do you want one book or the box set? And would you like it personalized?"

She smiled and picked up the debut novel, "Just the one is fine," Y/N responded, butterflies twirling in her stomach.

"I thought you wanted the box set?" Y/N's best friend retorted.

Y/N shrugged, "I changed my mind, not a big deal."

The lady at the counter shrugged the friendly grin, never leaving her lips, "He does something special with the boxset." She leans in as the trio leans in as well."He will open the boxset, sign every book, and sign the box 5 times.

Y/N's two best friends both gave her a knowing look, and with a sheepish smile, she replied, "Anyway, I can switch it out?" The woman nodded and swapped out the books, and in a brief moment, her eyes met with the infamous baby blues of H.R. Wells.

The woman whispered in his ear, and he smiled a genuine big grin and held out his hand, "Y/N, it's lovely to meet you." Y/N takes his hand and shakes it. Looking at the box set, he continues, "Did you know this is my favorite to sign? Want to guess why?"

Y/N could feel the heat rising in her cheeks as he smiled at her, "Could it be that you sign it five times."

He grabs his marker with dramatic flair, "You are absolutely correct."

As he begins signing the books, Y/N takes a deep breath. "I am a huge fan of your work, and if it wasn't for you and your amazing depiction of characters. I may not have been so inspired to start writing my own novel."

The author paused and looked back into her eyes, his face unreadable for a brief moment, causing the nerves to ricochet in her body. Only to be melted away but a warm large grin forming and his eyes twinkling. "Thank you, That is the highest compliement." He pushes the box set towards me. "How far along are you in the process?" The enthusiasm radiating off him.

Y/N scratched the back of her neck, "Bare bones, really. A rough first draft with only brief scenes."

H.R. waved his hand, "That's alright."

Y/N continued, "I do have the ending, though."

He smiled again, pressing a hand over his heart, and Y/N was truly enamored with him and with even more enthusiasm, "You have an ending!"

Y/N nodded and feeding off his electric energy, "I have an ending."

H.R. walked around the table and gave her a tight embrace, as she took in the cedar scent of his cologne and the lingering scent of coffee. "I look forward to reading your story one day." He whispered in her ear, and Y/N nearly swooned.

The pair separated and H.R. grabbed her books and handed them to her. "Bye, Y/N."

Y/N smiled and waved as she left her heart full and inspiration to write coursing through her veins.

As promised, this was based on my interaction of meeting Tom Cavanagh, just told in a more suitable world for H.R. though i added the hug because our java loving author would 100% hug an aspiring author. more streamer au thoughts but this time about how i think the others would be involved

robin doesn’t stream on twitch, but she does make movie commentary videos on youtube. most of the commentaries are at least half-serious, but she occasionally gets steve to guest star and they watch an actually awful film on purpose just to make fun of it. even though robin’s channel is not family friendly, steve still refuses to swear.

nancy and jonathan don’t have their own channels, but they frequently appear in the background of their roommate argyle’s videos and streams. argyle’s channel is called pizzaguy420, a name he came up with when he was 15 and irrelevant, and later refused to change because he finds it hilarious. his shtick is that he plays horror games and games that are notoriously difficult while high, so nancy and jonathan are always there to keep him in check or confiscate his bong (he is so lucky weed is legal in california).

dustin, mike, will and lucas run a group channel for DnD and co-op games they will argue over exclusively. the channel’s called hellfireclub, which eddie will ALWAYS be salty at them for because dustin stole it from him when he was telling them all about his high school DnD club.

max plays first person shooter games, and went viral for verbally destroying a bunch of men she had the displeasure of getting teamed with one game. she beat them at the game too, but their egos were particularly bruised. max’s channel is just ‘maxmayfield’ because she thinks having a thematic alias as a username is cringe.

el isn’t a twitch streamer either, she does lifestyle and day in the life vlogs. her content is all very wholesome, and gets a lot of kids as viewers. just like steve, she tries to keep things family friendly after realising who her audience is. her and steve collab a lot, despite the difference in their content. steve’s the only one who can get her to enjoy a video game (aside from maybe max) and they often play minecraft together.

gareth, jeff and the unnamed freak all have their own twitch channels that are similar to eddie’s and they stream together a lot. their fans love when they do jackbox streams together. unnamed freak is faceless online and no one online knows his real name, so everyone takes to choosing a new name to call him each stream to keep everyone on their toes. one stream, his name is mark, and the next his name is keith. none of them ever directly address the bit, and new fans are always confused but always catch on.

but how do they all know each other? mostly in line with canon tbh but a tad less trauma bonding. they somehow got just as close anyway. gareth jeff and unnamed freak were all still in a DnD club with eddie in high school, eddie and max were still neighbours as teenagers, max and the party were friends in high school, dustin knows steve because steve babysat him as a kid, and steve knows robin because they met at work.

Creation notes:

My prompts were "friendly war" and found family. In this story, they're in a family vacation (maybe in modern Fontaine?). Cyno forgot to put sunscreen and got burned badly, he's lucky to have Tighnari to both nag and take care of him 😅

I also got carried away and had way too much fun thinking about family scenarios:

1) Cyno is super proud of his waterproof deck (if only he saw the impending tragedy of having to fight with a fellow crab that seems as obsessed for his cards as him…) 2) As the curious academic he is, Nari would never lose the opportunity to do some field research 3) Collei made some new friends underwater! :> 4) Just a cool family rocking their shades and refreshing themselves together 😎⚡️ 5) not in front of the kids! 🙈 6) They're discreet, but Collei is quicker. A stroll under the sunset, successfully documented! 7) Collei almost had a heart attack to find the fearful General Mahamatra as a makeshift mermaid princess for the girls. Tighnari is probably laughing somewhere. As for Cyno, the story is: after some time trying to overcome his awkwardness with kids, he discovered that little girls will go crazy to play with his hair and put accessories on him. Ever since, he's their favorite new playmate and, he must say, THEY LOVE HIS JOKES

So, yeah, Cyno is very proud of his accomplishment. 😌

I think all the magazines that have a love column will try to get Denki as an expert or interview him. Also, all programs on love topics will also want to receive it. He makes so much content with his alpha that he's a tidbit for all the spicy broadcasts. As long as the interview isn't live, many media outlets are desperate to interview Denki about his love life because it's so dramatic and fun, and that makes for really good content. Live interviews are... forbidden by Denki's PR team if they include relationship questions. Denki has said too much many times.

Denki has thousands of YouTube videos dedicated to him, titled stuff like 'Every time Chargebolt says out of pocket shit' and 'Chargebolt and his mate being couple goals for 39 minutes'.

Midoriya is absolutely the family-friendly, parent approved hero. 100%. It comes with being number one and having a beautiful smile. Anything he mentions about his partner is very wholesome and generic. But imagine the scandal if anything outrageous ever leaked. It would be international news, a crazy PR nightmare of massive proportions. Like, wholesome, No. 1 Hero Deku is into cheating roleplays??? The press would have a field day.

Bakugou doesn't answer relationship questions at all. It's against his rules for interviews, so he will leave if an interviewer gets too bold. He's very protective of his home life and relationship.

But Bakugou on a cooking show??? Hilarious. I would also kill to have a cookbook written by Bakugou. I feel like his friends posted pics and hyped up his food so much on their social media that Bakugou's team decided to have him release a cookbook. They were going to make it really gimmicky, and hero themed, but Bakugou refused, so it's actually a really serious and amazing cookbook that endeared him to the domestic parents of the country who were previously iffy about his brashness negatively influencing child fans. It turned out to be a masterful piece of PR.

So firstly, welcome daughters! Fucking around with gender is absolutely okay. But unlike most detrans and misgender kink content, I don't like force-play. Instead I'd like to offer some encouragement and acceptance.

I have heard stories about ftms experimenting with/reclaiming femininity for months or years, before returning to being masculine, and I think I am going through a similar process. I've since tried so many different interesting things (that includes voguing in a ballroom!), and I even found out I'm non-binary.

It can feel scary - what if I find out I'm actually not trans? What if I'm too traumatized to feel comfortable in my girl mode? What if my friends and family know? What if it makes me non-binary?

I had all of those thoughts! And may I just say that your safety is the most important thing. If you might trigger your transphobic parents, be safe. If you might trigger an episode and spiral, don't do it without a therapist. I trust that you are smart and capable of making good judgements. <3

But to address those fears, one thing I found in this journey is, that I am me no matter what vessels I put myself in. I've challenged myself, my identities and how I experience myself, and in the end I find myself feeling like me, I transcend all different labels and conditions, and I found a lot of genderless moments where I just am.

Your inner girl is calling you, I'd say why not give her a listen if you are curious?

First task incoming. Let's make space for your girl to think and be:

Prepare a notebook for her

Is there another (feminine optional) name you would like?

What pronouns you wanna explore with (in or out of kink)? It can be a mix with she/they/he/neo-pronouns

Write your name and pronouns on the first page. You can always come back and change it.

Bring her a comforting hoodie

Bring her a stuffed toy you can be a girl around with

Find her a bag and/or a basket that she can put her things in

If you've already been experimenting with detrans kink, you might have more supplies, bring them with you too.

Bring your feminine bras and underwear

Bring your feminine clothes

Bring your sex toys and kink toys

Bring your makeup, if you don't already have a makeup bag/basket, bring one and put them in

Bring your feminine accessories

Write down a list of people she's in contact with (like sext friends) and put it in your notebook

(I would really enjoy a dollar store trip for this task. A notebook, a few baskets, a plush, and maybe some snacks) (But you find most things at home.) (But buying new ones helps if you have too much associations with the old items, or you just like shopping for your girl)

Task 2, some organization would help clear your mind. If you have makeup, put them in a makeup bag/box. If you have feminine clothes and underwear, save a cabinet for them, or at least a basket. If you have sex toys, put them in a big pouch. If you have accessories, get an accessories box. Now that you're being in touch with your femininity, put your supplies in a bag (your notebook, hoodie, stuff toy, and anything you might actively use). My best advice is, put everything above in your girl cabinet, makeup and accessories on your desk, and your bag next to your bed/desk.

What I really want you to accomplish here is that, your inner girl deserves to take up space. She deserves to find the things she's looking for, she deserves a space in your life. She deserves the order so she can have space to think.

Task 3. I want you to put on your hoodie, and/or your bra and underwear, and/or your feminine clothes, and just cuddle your stuffed friend, and lay in bed. Hug it out.

You might get really horny at this point. Go for it, enjoy yourself, make it count. maybe you’re already soaking. Keep it natural by just sticking your fingers in, and really feel them going in and out. Spread your juices on your clit and rub it nicely. Cum on your own hand.

Fap or not, when you've finished and am ready, I want you(-r inner girl) to hug your plush, just hug, and think about how it's okay to be a girl.

Honestly, if Netflix were to decide to cancel Lockwood & Co, it would be one of the dumbest decisions they would ever make.

Because Lockwood & Co happens to be one of the very few family-friendly shows they have on their platform right now that perfectly targets the younger and general demographic.
