Plant of the Day
Wednesday 22 November 2023
Colchicum speciosum 'Album' (giant meadow saffron) naturalise well in either a semi-shady or sunny spot. They flower without their leaves (they appear after flowering) so benefit from being planted amongst other low-growing plants to give them some protection. The plants are toxic if eaten.

Plant of the Day
Monday 6 November 2023
A North American native Symphyotrichum pilosum (Michaelmas daisy, New York aster, frost aster) forms a tall and erect plant of stiff, wiry stems covered with white stars. A great addition to add to an autumn display.
