Ok so I’ve had this idea in my head for a while, where all the people who possess / have possessed witch factors in Re:Zero are magical girls (+ magical boys? Just gonna call them all ‘magi’ to make it easier), because the witch factors parallel the most with becoming a magical girl in pmmm for me. I’m also gonna include Emilia and Subaru as magis, because Subaru’s Return by death may also be an authority and to explain his time traveling (also for the obvious Homura x Madoka parallel). This idea came to me when I found Iqian35’s post on reddit Birth of Authority from Wish, where they say “My motivation for this series primarily stems from the 2018 Q&A on Echidna's Book of Wisdom, where Tappei said " the authority itself has a tendency to reflect the cravings of the holder of the witch gene". So l thought, why not look into each and every one of the Witch Factor holders and see how their personalities and wishes are reflected in their authorities?” and reading it reminded me so damn much about pmmm’s magical girl system that I was inspired to design magis + witches for the series! I might even turn this into a fully fledged au!

Now I wanna talk a little bit about my thoughts behind Geuse’s magi design and what his powers + wish would be. I designed him with the intention of looking like a templar knight like from the crusades. What with the witch cult’s parallels to Christianity / Catholicism as well as in Geuse’s design itself, I thought it would be fitting. I also made him a kind of knight because I wanted it to call back to Sayaka in a way, considering the similarities behind their motives of wanting to help those they love / wanting to protect people / sacrificing their souls, ect. (these two are so similar to me I could make a whole ass venn diagram). Iqian35 made the observation that his ‘wish’ would probably be a wish of love + his goal in life was to protect Emilia and Fortuna and to live for love, so that’s probably what his wish that would make him a magi would be, specifically to have the power to be able to protect Emilia and Fortuna. This would make his magical power manifest as the unseen hands, like in the show proper. I gave him a mace as his weapon because it was used in the time period of the crusades and because it’s a bludgeoning weapon meant to break armor, which I think fits well with his fighting style and the strength of the unseen hands. He’d still be able to use earth magic as a magi, as well as possessing bodies / having his fingers as long as his soul gem is intact. Because he’s an earth spirit I made his sg yellow / gold, yellow being the color for earth spirits / earth magic in re zero, and made it a prevalent color in his outfit. Red is a frequent color in his outfit too because the star Betelgeuse is a red giant and it’s used in his og design.

That’s all the input I have to give for now, sorry for the wall of text lol :) more designs are on the way but it may be a minute because I have college and other stuff to worry about, but I will get them done eventually don’t you worry! The brainrot is far too strong lol XD I have too many ideas for this possible au / crossover!

wooooooooaahh lots of ppl wanted to hear about the au so uh explanation ( also sorry it was late at a party rn)

Magical Girl Au Explanation Thinggy..

Before everyone chose to be a magical girl, they were once all human untill meeting Caine. Caine is some magical being along his buddy Bubble who he made. Caine has good intentions but due to his lack of understanding human emotions, does intentions back fired. He seen how humans have suffered, either by pain,depression,ect. He wanted to help the humans by either turning their lives more fun n stuff. I haven't thought on what he does but the idea was there are the Abstractions and creatures (example like the gloinks) that wreck people's lives but nobody can see them. As they live in this sorta circus themed world thats you can only kinda can get there without magiccccc....n stufffffffff. Caine decided to gather people who were willing to destroy those monsters, again this au is going through construction so I haven't figured out for some parts like why Caines intentions backfired so if yall wanna give out ideas I'd be happy to hear em. Back to what I was saying, Caine manage to get a few members for his group or whatever u wanna call it. Alot on who he gathered got abstracted ( alot of this is inspired by Puella Magi Madoka Magica so alot of it will be similar to that anime) so the previous members are now Abstractions (like previous magical girls turn into witches) All of the members were once human, but apon meeting Caine. Caine came to the conclusion that the human body was just to weak for them to fight so he came with a solution. By using his power, he turned their human body to these magical forms, essential what they are in the digital circus. But these body aren't human at all, they don't have organs or look anywhere near human like that so that strikes another problem. Since they can live in the human world anymore, Caine decided to create a new home for them, The Digital Circus. All of the members were devastated to learn that their lives were taken away and now having to live in some circus well just like the show... they abstracted. I might go for an idea that Caine erases all of their old memory to help with their sadness but again with it backfiring with them going insane n stuff. Again feel free to leave out ideas.

So now we begin with our story starting with Pomni. Pomni or whatever her human name would be (Pammy? Pamantha? Poppy?) She's is a depressed,overworked, and very much hates her job, office worker. Working for a company ( maybe for a game uh again not sure) who desperately wants to change herself, to prove the people around her that she can do something, that she can make a change, to have a purpose. That goal could spark the interest of Caine, so one day appearing in front of her to make a deal. Maybe possibly one of the monsters attack her. Either by accidentally going to the magic world thingy on mistake ( she maybe noticed a weird group of them going to this portal, or by just peer dumb and bad luck...she would have lots of bad luck) Possibly Caine saves her or the group instead. Which ever I go for Caine strikes a deal with her and she goes along with it because of the desperation to be something. And once she actually learns the horror of this new body and new home, she regrets it...as all the others during there first times. Now me meet the group, starting with the oldest

Kinger, the one who's been apart of the group the longest and most wisest. He's somehow been able to stay somewhat same but due to so much time dealing with all the craziness and losing someone dear to him. The magical girl gig has kinda broken him away so especially he's the plan/ smart guy in the group. Telling information for the group for missions and strategies.

Then Ragatha who's the second oldest member. She is essentially the mom friend, who often aids her friends during battles and keeping check of anyone (especially after someone abstracts) She tries to put on a happy face and cheerfully personality to keep her sanity, as it's her way to deal with her forever situation.

Jax is the third, he's the playful and prankster as always. Often teasing and annoying his teammates whenever he has the chance to. Jax often doesn't wait to attack during missions and ignores everyone's warning, unless Caine gets him to sit down and listen. But all of the sass and humor is his way to cope with the situation.

Gangle is the fourth member of the group, she's quite soft spoken and scared. As she still struggles a bit of her situation, and relys on her mask to deal with her emotions. Although she isn't weak, she can find herself to cower over some missions if they get to much. Mostly when she doesn't have her happy mask on, and that mask helps her with confidence. Although her emotions help her boost her strength if in very strong emotions.Her coping is practically relying on her masks to keep her happy,although a certain someone keeps breaking them.

Zooble is the fifth and came not long after Gangle. They are a distant and "idgaf" type of person, often trying to not get close with anyone and to just get over with it. Zooble sorta chills there untill they go to another mission, and their distancing is their way of coping. Not wanting to make connections to people in fear of losing them, just over all wanting to do the missions and nothing else.

The basic plot of it is Pomni and everyone else going to mission while they slowly start to find out more and more about everything to who they are, Caine and his secrets,and the universe itself. Anyways that's what I'm going to leave off, have a sketch of Pomni and Ragatha designs. I do plan on finnish it aswell with everyone's else but im tired and I wanna go to bed. Perona Headcanons

Modern AU!

SANRIO GIRL! She loves collecting any & all Sanrio plushies, her favourite being Kuromi & MyMelody. Her bed is full of them & I strongly believe she's one of those people who will scold you if you move or knock down her stuffed toys.

She is also a figurine collector and has many rare Monster high dolls on display, Draculaura is her favourite.

Watches anime such as "Madoka Magica", "Nana" "Evangelion" & "Death Note". Speaking of Death note she moulded her personality after Misa Amane when she was 13 & bought clothes to match. Robin probably sees her reading something gory & Perona gets her into "Junji Ito".

As a kid she played games she shouldn't have, much like "DDLC", "Yandere Simulator" & "FNAF". Probably stayed up late watching "Silent Hill" & "Resident Evil" gameplays.

She also watches true crime videos & her favourite YouTuber is "Baliey Sarian", she enjoys that there's also a makeup aspect to the videos.

Loves horror movies, especially paranormal ones. "Poltergeist" "The Shining" & "Conjuring" are her favourites. When "The Nun" came out she made everyone watch it, Ussop cried.

Absolutely has a Quija board & makes guests summon ghosts with her, Ussop cried again.

Mihawk is her dad! Zoro is her brother! It's canon to me, I love the gothic family. Mihawk knew she loved ghosts as a kid so for Halloween he cut some holes into a bedsheet & made that her costume... at least he tried. On that note, Perona enjoys cosplaying her favourite characters casually & is on forums for her fandoms. She definitely scourers Reddit & Twitter & very often gets into arguments.

She loves blasting music which irritates Zoro to no end primarily when he's working out. Very frequently he will barge into her room telling her to turn it down (She does not).

Of course a night-core listener. Most liked artists are “Lady Gaga”, “Melanie Martinez”, “Poppy”, “Jazmin Bean” & “MARINA”.

Halloween queen! Always hosting multiple Halloween parties throughout October & a Seance on the actual day. These get-togethers consist of scary movies, excessive haunted decoration, although that's up all year long, spooky stories & fall snacks. She is a sucker for a pumpkin spice latte.

Her room smells like rosemary & she has candles everywhere.

Hated “Ghost Busters” because she didn’t think it was fair to the ghosts. Very into Scooby Doo as a kid & would make Zoro play it with her, he was the dog.

History of Fanfics I Wrote (if memory serves)

Untitled Steven Universe x Ninja Sex Party story: The first one I wrote back in 2019, it was just me changing lyrics to a song and... it's plain bad. I got nothing but bad memories with it since it was posted the same day my aunt passed away. I'm glad it no longer exists.

Steven Universe x Hunter x Hunter story: I wrote this one as an AU of Steven Universe taking place in the world of HxH. It was my first series I wrote, lasted for about ten chapters. It was really bad. Many errors, terrible formatting, and shitting narration. I don't think anyone liked it.

Random SU stories: I'm convinced I wrote many stories about SU, but I guess I block those out of my head.

Self-Shipping stories: I made a series of stories of shipping myself with different characters. These were apparently prototypes of my creation of my OC, which I introduced him in 2022. I made three separate stories with three animated/anime girls. These were the ones were I vastly improved my writing. They're now a distance memory.

The End of the Crystal Gems: This was one of my most anticipated fanfic I ever wrote. It caught a lot of people's attention because of how dark and depressing it was. It was my magnum opus. However, it was released around the same time I ended an important friendship I had with someone. There was an attempt to rewrite it, but I lost interest with Steven Universe. The story is forever gone, but I was very proud of it.

Numerous Madosaya stories: After watching Madoka Magica, I gave fanfic another shot and, it was amazing again. I wrote so many cute stories about Madoka and Sayaka fallen in love with each other. I'm really happy of what I came up with.

Sayaka's Universe: My current story about my OC, Harry Universe, becoming friends with Sayaka Miki. So far, I got good responses with it, and I plan to continue with it soon.

My True Love: This was a Madosaya turn Poly Quintet story. It was supposed to be a three to four chapter story, but because it was popular, I expanded to eleven chapters. I need to come out, I plagiarize other works in order to write it. I am deeply ashamed about it, and I don't plan on resurrecting it.

Kyosaya Shenanigans: Short stories about Sayaka and Kyoko reenacting moments from the Youtube Let's Play series, Game Grumps. So far, people love it. There's more coming soon.

A Hug Can Cure Loneliness: My first Bocchi the Rock! story. It's actually getting a lot of attention over on AO3, I was not excepting that.

CW FOR POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR MAGIA RECORD AND DEFINITE SPOILERS FOR THE MAIN SERIES AND REBELLION (I have not finished magia season 1, I am just theorizing, but just in case Im tagging it)

So far what Im gathering is that the reason Kamihara has so many witches and the only ones who last long are stronger magical girls is because there are so many weaker magical girls who are freshly turned and regretting their choice who go there, creating a loop effect of fresh magical girls coming in, finding that they cant be saved or being horrified at the lessons from the magius, reaching despair, and thus creating WAYYY more witches- I presume this is also why other areas have so few witches these days, because there are fewer magical girls in those areas.. Watching with that very specific context about the magical girl life cycle adds such a layer of like 'holy shit' moments that Im wondering if the show is gonna explain it, or if its assumed that the viewer has already seen madoka magica. Regardless, Im loving this and Im invested

Im also fascinated by how its apparent that this is all taking place either in an au (unlikely) or in a past timeline prior to madoka's sacrifice? It could potentially be after but based on Mami's line of 'I guided two girls to this fate, after all' Im assuming its in a past timeline- Which makes me wonder the specifics of how this all fits together... Not to mention the Magia record crew encountering the witch that Mami fought when madoka and sayaka were 'apprenticing' under her in the current timeline pre-double world rewrite.. Im so enthralled lol

Lordy okkkk! Psychonauts magical girl au rambling time! Today is about the basic premise and lore!

Its basically psychonauts, plot wise, but instead of psychics, they're magical girls. In this world,magical girls are able to use their psychic energy to transform and fight monsters and mainly against shatterings, which are basically what happens when a inner turmoil comes out, making their mental problems escape into the real world. They can either fix this by fighting the problems directly or go inside the mind to figure out the root causes.

(I will be using "magical girl" as a gender neutral term in this, but magical girls can be any gender)

While shatterings in non magical girls are easier to do, they're usually pretty harmless and involve less pain and destruction. Though if not treated properly after, it can cause some pretty bad psychological consequences. On the other hand, Shatterings in magical girls are harder to do, but its a longer and more painful process. Instead of just a part of the mind turning them into a little creature, the entire mind transforms the magical girl and warps the area around, turning it into a twisted version of their mental world. The difference is a disdain from glitter force versus a witch from madoka magica. Maligula was possibly the most violent and powerful shattering of current history, almost fully engulfing the entire country and having to be defeated by the psychic 6. She didn't survive the fight... or did she?

While most magical girls have their own little areas and territories where they fight against these shatterings, The psychonauts are a magical girl organization that dabbles in both fighting against more severe shattering and in espionage.

Magical girls can do magic without them, but they can also create small charms, simply called gems, that integrate into a special wearable object and help them transform and use their wands. Wands can change to use different abilities (IE Hammer for Psi-punch, Gun for psi-blast, balloon/ball for levitation) (Fun fact, more skilled levitators, Like Milla, can gain wings!) Their transformations, especially your first ever, mostly stem from their own style and mentality, but it can be modified mostly through styling and practice.

Despite the service of magical girls, many see them as being dangerous. Some believe they cause the shatterings themselves, some believe their ablities come from the devil, some believe they are witches who can curse people.

My Re:Zero/Madoka Magica crossover AU

I've had the idea for this AU in my head for over a week now, so I decided to type it all out

Either takes place after arc 2 or arc 4 of Re: Zero (personally leaning towards arc 4 because that way there are more established characters and Subaru has gone through a bit more character development)

At the beginning of one of Homura’s time loops, Homura, Madoka, Sayaka, Mami, Kyoko, a few copies of Kyuubey, and several witches all get iskeaied into Lugunica.

Sayaka and Madoka aren’t magical girls yet, so as far as they’re concerned, they’re in an isekai story, not a magical girl one. But for some reason they can’t find the person who summoned them, and they don’t have any overpowered abilities either, what’s up with that?

Though I have the idea that eventually, rather than becoming magical girls, Madoka and Sayaka learn use lugunican magic and/or spirit arts, and as it turns out Madoka has a large amount of magical potential. At this point, Sayaka becomes convinced that Madoka is the protagonist of their isekai adventure and could not be happier to help support her best friend. Madoka, meanwhile really just wants to go home because she’s sure her parents are really worried about her at this point.

Mami also wants to go home. Not that there’s anyone who would miss her, but without her, there is no around to protect Mitakihara from witches. However, Mami is also has a tendency to want to help those in need, so she ends up saving people from some bandits, and then she fights some mabeasts, and one thing leads to another and suddenly she’s become a local hero. Once she finds out that witches have been brought into this world as well, any goals of trying to get home have been thoroughly deprioritized.

Kyouko is less concerned about going home (she doesn’t have anyone waiting for her either), so she’s completely fine with starting life again in this new world. And as much as she won’t admit it, she is still a good person too, so she ends up accidentally turning into a local hero as well. (although her heroics are less stopping bandits and mabeasts and more robbing corrupt nobles and merchants. She probably becomes a wanted criminal)

Homura is freaking out, because rather than waking up in a hospital bed like every other loop, she wakes up in a forest she doesn’t recognize. Did her power do this? Did a witch do this? Most importantly, how is she supposed to find Madoka?

On a funnier note, because she’s stuck in a fantasy world, Homura has no way to aquire guns, bombs or missiles like she does in canon. Instead she probably steals an entire castle’s armoury and/or learns how to make guns herself out of pure spite.

My personal ruling is that Homura and Subaru’s powers just don’t work on each other, which is very concerning for both of them.

From Subaru’s perspective, everything just freezes for times ranging for a few seconds to several minutes. Nothing noticeably bad happens, but that's almost worse because it means that means something bad could be happening elsewhere and he's powerless to stop it.

From Homura’s perspective, time just rewinds at seemingly arbitrary points (which is more evidence to support her theory that her powers have started to malfunction after looping too many times)

Witches getting iskeaied to Lugunica is a bad thing. Because while there are people with the power to defeat them, magical girls are the only ones with a established method of detecting them, and not being affected by the witch’s curse. The increased number of deaths and disappearances across Lugunica probably hastens this AU’s version of arc 3/arc 5, with the royal candidates being called together to discuss how to deal with the issue. Also pmmm witches are definitely not getting called "witches" by lugunicans, due do the phrase "with" being associated with something different. People don't really know what the

I like the idea of each of the main girls ending up with one of the different camps. In my mind, Mami ends up with the Felt camp, Kyoko ends up with the Priscilla camp, and Sayaka and Madoka end up in either the Anastasia or Crusch camps (or maybe get spit up and end up and one.) However I don’t have any specific interactions planned for any of these characters yet, so who ends up meeting who isn’t set in stone yet.

“Arc 1” of this AU would be the magical girls getting isekaied. For Subaru’s half, a witch attack’s Roswaal’s manor, forcing Subaru to loop several times trying to figure out what this thing even is, and then how to defeat it. “Arc 2” would be a variation of either Arc 3 of 5 of Re:Zero, but with the inclusion of magical girls and witches. Beyond that, I don’t have a clear idea of where the story would go, but I know I want it to go somewhere.

Whenever they do meet (which despite being one of the key parts of this AU, I haven't actually worked out yet) the dynamic that Subaru and Homura will be interesting. I think Subaru would initially want to be friends with Homura, but would become unnerved by her detached way of dealing with everything. (mostly because he worries that she is what he will be like after using Return By Death too many times).

Homura, on the other hand, wouldn’t want to be friends with Subaru. But once she figures out his ability, she would realize that Subaru dying could erase any progress she makes in keeping Madoka safe, so she reluctantly appoints herself as his protector. Also she won’t admit it to him, but she’s definitely jealous of the fact that he has been able to overcome the various problems this world has thrown at him, and that the point that he gets to loop from updates, and that he gets to keep the emotional connections he makes makes rather then being forced to start form nothing (some would say�� from zero) every single time.

Madoka and Emillia should be friends. I don’t have any deep thoughts on this. I just think they would get along.

In at least one loop, one of the young girls of the Re:Zero cast like Petra, Meili, or Felt becomes a magical girl, and things go horribly wrong.

Walpurgisnacht also got isekaied, but she got isekaied to Vollachia or somewhere else far off where she won’t be relevant for a while. She's a problem for later.

Also, I like the idea of magical girls from the spinoff manga like Oriko and Kirika getting isekaied as well, but I don’t have any specific plans for what they would be doing in this AU yet.

Hi! I'm so sorry it took me so long to answer this ask, and also thank you for sending me an ask in the first place! I love answering questions, even if it takes me a bit to respond :3

I agree with you, Lazari deserves better. I mean like, even her own creator did her dirty man, SHE HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL!!! Her concept is so cool and her own comic did her SO DIRTY. I hate the treatment she gets from fans too.

Yeah I get it her comic was terribly written and was the origin of the 'I HAVE CRAYONS AND PAPER!!!!!' meme and the characters were poorly written and the lore was inconsistent and the fanservice was weird and the story/tone was ALL OVER THE PLACE. But like, don't take it out on my baby Lazari please she deserves better.

I wanna do some more silly headcanons of her this time around, I might make a separate post on more serious stuff about her ;)

So, let's get cracking!

Lazari Headcanons!

-She's on the Autism Spectrum, diagnosed and all :3. She also has ADHD, also diagnosed! She's the representation we deserve to see in this fandom lol.

-She's Chibiworks. Okay, let me explain:

SO, when Lazari first came into the Mansion, she was just an 8 year old girl with demonic tendencies who was abused by her hyper-religious mother who hated her. She hated herself, she was shy, and she believed that she was nothing more than a monster, a mistake. But all of a sudden she goes from that to the DAUGHTER OF THE EMPEROR OF THE UNDERWORLD, a literal DISNEY PRINCESS (cuz yk she's his daughter), and now she literally lives in a Magical Forest in a Magical Mansion of Serial Killers, Ghosts and Demons.

She thought that the world around her was super interesting considering she never got to see much of the outside. She loves drawing, so she drew about it. She drew about the potential greater stories unravelling around her, making her own characters based on concepts she learnt about whilst exploring.

She made I Eat Pasta for Breakfast as a way of letting her imagination go wild around this new environment she found herself in. She made characters to interact with the people that already existed, and gave them purposes.

(Btw, several of the weird stuff and the not kid-appropriate scenes in the comic are retconned out of this version.)

She also made Creepy Frozen Pasta, just saying. She also wrote The Seer. She wrote every Creepypasta comic in existence. Found a cool Creepypasta comic series? Lazari wrote it.

-She LOVES drawing. Her artstyle is very much manga-inspired and she loves creating her own OCs, which are littered throughout her work. A lot of them are directly based on concepts, such as many of Zalgo's followers in IEPFB being based on the idea of Zalgo having a cult of personality around him.

-She's definitely an animation meme kid. I'm deffo self-projecting but she is the DEFINITION of the weird kid. She makes animation memes of everyone in the mansion. She makes animatics of actual stuff that happened. She makes amateur dubs of her own comics.

-Manga is her biggest hyperfixation. She collects TONS of them, and directly draws panels from her favourite manga to improve her drawing skills. Her favourite Manga series of all time is Fruits Basket :3. Her room is basically just all of her drawing scattered around the place.

She specifically likes Horror and Shoujo anime, despite the fact that they're basically polar opposites. Alongside Fruits Basket, she really likes Madoka Magica!

-She definitely makes AMVs of her favourite animes. She deffo writes terribly written fanfiction about her favourite anime couples kissing and giggles whilst writing it.

-She's also a Gacha Life kid FUCKING FIGHT ME SHE DEFINITELY MAKES GACHA OCS. She definitely stays up until 2am with Sally watching 'Hated Child turns into Hybrid Princess' videos. Lazari gasps in shock every single time and Sally is just sitting there extremely confused.

-Sally is her best friend. She lore-dumps to Sally all the time about her special interests, and Sally listens intently and nods along. She even writes notes about the lore of her favourite series! Sally is a super supportive best friend, and any time any of the ghost kids make fun her for her autistic behaviour she puts them in their place.

-Despite this, the two of them argue a lot, because they're kids and just of course they do. Fun fact! The reason why Sally only appears like once in IEPFB is because Lazari initially wrote her in, then the two got into a fight and she took her out of the story. They made up soon after but Lazari thought it would be too awkward to add her back in and Sally just accepted it.

-She has a very unorthodox form of common sense. With that I mean she has none at all. Once the mansion was on fire, and Slender screamed at her to get up and evacuate. Her reaction? She told him to leave her alone and let her sleep.

-She really likes Vocaloid, and her favourite Vocaloid isn't even a Vocaloid. Her favourite, uh, singing bank, is Kasane Teto! She claims that her robotic voice (before the SynthV AI transfer) was pleasant to her ears.

-Her favourite Vocaloid Song is Kasane Territory, because of the animation meme of course >:D.

-She also definitely tried to make a Storytime Youtube Channel but everyone in the Mansion made her delete it because she was sharing personal information about them all. Like genuinely she'd be like 'SO THE OTHER DAY MASKY AND HOODY WERE ON A MISSION FOR SLENDERMAN AND THEY KILLED THIS ONE GIRL WHO LIVES AT THIS ADDRESS IN THIS STATE'.

She has like zero concept of Internet Safety.

-She's a massive Melanie Martinez fan. She got Sally into her music, and back when Melanie Martinez was like just getting popular she'd sing all of her songs super loudly in the shower. Once Slenderman referred to the house as a 'Dollhouse' and Lazari screamed 'DOLLHOUSE BY MELANIE MARTINEZ? HEY GIRL, OPEN YOUR WALLS, PLAY WITH YOUR DOLLS-'.

-She used to be a massive Roblox kid in 2017 and was also an MSP kid. Christ she was on so many virtual worlds, she was even on Animal Jam sort of.

-Fanon Masky, Hoody and Toby were invented by her. Fanon Masky was made PURELY out of spite for him. The first time they met was not pleasant, as he called her a brat. Lazari vowed to humiliate him in every way possible from that point forward. She found out that he hated children, hated Slenderman, hated Cheesecake, hated the texture of Crayons, and hated jokingly being called a twink by Toby.

All of that combined? You got the Crayon-having, Cheesecake-eating, Skinny, Scrawny, Slenderman dick-riding Fanon Masky that we all know and love. The other residents found out about this strange new version of him and it became so popular she drew individual fanarts of him and handed it to all of the residents. Even Slenderman has a picture of Cheesecake Masky on his Office Wall. Somehow Masky didn't find out about this until a long time after the fad ended.

In my AU Hoody is a selective mute who doesn't verbally communicate with anyone besides the Proxies, so he was deathly silent when he first met Lazari. She misunderstood this as him just being shy and so Shy UwU boy Hoody was made.

Fanon Toby is just a sarcastic persona Toby puts on to piss other people off. She misunderstood this as his REAL personality and alongside the waffles thing that Jeff and Ben always mentioned (Toby stopped liking Waffles long before Lazari came), Fanon Toby was made.

-She made the Dollmaker (yeah he exists) make her plushies of everyone in the Mansion + The Zalgo and a few of her OCs. What does she do with them, you may ask? She roleplays with them with Sally. They've made a bunch of random ships with this, and now they're both avid Slender x Zalgo shippers. They also ship EJ with a lot of people as he has such a versatile personality, but they mainly like EJ and Jeff.

Lazari also found out that Masky was sort of intimidated by Nurse Ann so she shipped them very vocally in front of him.

-She's a massive Sanrio-girl, and her favourite character is My Melody :D. She's watched the entirety of Onegai My Melody at least like sixteen times already.

-She tried to learn Japanese, and failed miserably. She can sometimes read Hiragana if Kagekao writes it really carefully.

-Her own handwriting is really terrible, almost illegible. It's a gift to be able to read anything she writes.

-She's a part of the Mansion's Literature Club, and Ben nicknames her the Natsuki of the club, as she's always insisting that Manga is literature.

-She argues with Slender, as he believes that comics and Manga shouldn't be considered literature, as they're all pictures and barely any words. Lazari TO THIS DAY debates him about it.

-About her demonic urges, they're manageable as long as you give her a random body part to chew on every once and a while. She doesn't lose her control like she once did when she first came, and she's not as dangerous anymore. She's like a saint compared to EJ.

-As she's a half-demon, she has some godly amount of brute force strength. She can carry someone thrice her size and force open any door, no matter how many locks are on it.

She also has an incredibly high pain tolerance. Once she got scratched up pretty bad by EJ when he was in a particularly bad Demonic State, the girl didn't even notice until Lulu noticed.

-About Lulu, she was actually assigned to show her around when she first arrived at the Mansion! Lulu had told Slender earlier that she wanted to take charge of whoever came after her, and has a really good relationship with Lazari. She's one of Lazari's favourite people.

-Her relationship with her dad is...strange. On one hand when she does get to visit they generally have a nice time, however due to how much she reminds him of his deceased little sister, sometimes he'll accidentally call her 'Lily', which dampens the mood a little bit.

-Stripes ADORES her. The two sisters are very close and Stripes just loves her so much, she even made her her Teddy Bear that she's famous for carrying around :3.

-She had a phase where she called herself an irl Yandere. Thankfully she stopped after like a month but it was very funny lol

-She loves Nightcore! And Trance Music, oddly enough. One of her favourite songs is 'Be Alive!' By Stian K. (Search up the song. If you recognise the song from a certain animation meme of her then you deserve all of my respect).

-Her favourite food is Chocolate Strawberries.

Okay, if you want to ask some more serious lore-related questions then go right ahead and I'll answer! I just have so much of Lazari since she was one of my comfort characters when I was little and first got into Creepypastas. I see a lot of myself in her and I'm so peeved that the fandom either completely ignores her or dislikes her, like she's got so much potential! She's an incredibly important character in my AU actually, and one day I'll make a post detailing her correlation with the greater story :3

Spoilering this because I'm a bit embarrassed about it but I wanna go off about the Magical Girl AU I've been thinking about for MTL. It's loosely based on Puella Magi Madoka Magica and involves my OCs needing to become Magical Girls in order to keep Dethklok on the right track to fulfill their prophecy :') So it's kind of their prophecy to fulfill as well.

Using some of @skwistokgetalongshirt and @papayapapalatur's OCs for lore here I'm sorry you two fjkjks

A disguised Salacia views a handful of people who have become too close to Dethklok as potential threats. In order to eliminate them and ultimately prevent Dethklok from fulfilling the prophecy, he offers them a life changing wish in exchange for them to become Magical Girls - an offer too sweet to refuse. Where's the catch?

The catch is that Salacia ultimately feeds off their souls in exchange. Once they gain these magical powers, it's because their souls have been bound eternally to the member they're closest with. They now receive a share of their godly power (which is unknown to them all), and need to use that power to fend off any potential threats to Dethklok. Crazy fans, assassination attempts, spirits and demons they weren't able to see before.

Basically the Deity, the Dethklok member, becomes the energy source that allowed them to use magic, and in exchange the Magical Girl has to make sure nothing happens to them.

Sounds like Salacia is making his own job harder for himself, right? Wrong.

If that bond between them is ever severed for whatever reason, be it their death or Dethklok's loss of their affection towards them, the according member falls into a state of despair and their loved one's soul is crushed irreparably. Once this happens, Salacia devours their spirit to gain strength. He doesn't only feed off their souls, but partly, Dethklok's powers as well.

And none of them know about this. Some do find out, but can't handle the pressure. And some die before they even can.

Elise Navidad - Time Alternation. The first of them to ever make a contract with Salacia. Originally, Nathan had neglectful parents and an awful childhood full of abuse and pain just like the other Dethklok members. After hearing Salacia's suggestion to give her the ability to take that pain away from him and change his life for the better, Elise makes her contract, giving her the ability to alter time. She wakes up in a new timeline, in which Nathan had loving parents growing up, was adored by his classmates, had numerous fans and groupies, and regularly seemed to find new partners with ease. Something that she didn't like at all. If she attempted to tell him about what she did for his sake, he gave her the Magnus treatment ("you need to relax, you're sounding crazy"). If she didn't tell him, she usually never had a chance to even get close to him in this timeline. He was famous too soon, and didn't care to meet her because Rebecca, Abigail and other women were there before her. While Elise attempted to fix their relationship hundreds of times by turning back time repeatedly, she failed every single time. And not only that - she felt her soul crumbling away because their bond began to fade. She now used her attempts to turn back time to prevent her friends from making the same contract with Salacia, but of course, they labelled her a lunatic as well. Her wish ultimately was her own demise, driving her into insanity and causing her soul to shatter. She turns into a gooey, toxic slime creature named Elsa Maria that devours everything she touches in an attempt to feel a certain kind of closeness to them. Though her best friend Missy tries to reason with her and get her back to her senses, she ultimately needs to be killed.

Morguen Belowitch - Space Distortion. Though they debate very long on what to wish for, they ultimately end up using their wish for the sake of William Murderface. Their wish is to paint an entirely different fate for him. Their art quite literally becomes their power as they can paint whatever weapon they need, whatever scenery they need, even giving themselves wings if needed. But what they didn’t consider is that painting a different future doesn’t mean a better future. While they actually wanted for him to feel loved and comfortable in his body and mind, they instead gave him more unattractive traits. Stronger self loathing. And even more internalized homophobia, completely preventing him from getting too close to them. Ultimately, Murderface becomes possessed by Salacia and isolates himself entirely. Though Morguen stays alive and sane the longest out of them all, they can feel their soul becoming tarnished with every passing second, and it's a slow, excruciating death. They can’t fight Salacia. They can't chase him out of Murderface's body. They don’t have that power, especially not alone with all their friends dead, or worse, monsters. Morguen colors over their soul gem to fill the cracks, hide the buildup of sludge. But Salacia is feeding off them until nothing is left of William's godly power due to his isolation. He needs Dethklok to find his strength. Isolated, he is weak and vulnerable, making Murderface fall into his grasp more and more. And eventually Morguen has no choice but kill themselves so they don't become a monster that fights alongside Salacia. Drowned in paint.

Ann Luzienne-Orlaag - Purification. The last one to make the contract with Salacia, and simultaneously the one who lives the shortest life of them all. After the suicide of Magnus Hammersmith, she is left in despair, once again having lost the man she loved. First Eric Jomfru was taken from her, the one she wanted to spend her life with... and now Magnus, the only other person who had ever gotten this close to her. Salacia used this moment of vulnerability to take advantage of her. Of course Ann would wish for Magnus to still be alive. But what she didn't consider was the fact that Magnus still felt like he needed to go down. Punish himself for his deeds. After realizing what he had done and being unable to handle the realization that Dethklok are Gods, there is just no way for him to cope. Ann's new powers luckily allow her to cleanse his soul and give him the strength to hang on just for a bit more... but at the same time, her powers are weak. Magnus is not a deity like the rest of Dethklok. She is able to cleanse her own soul as well, but it's a bone job. Every few minutes, she needs to fix both Magnus and herself up so they stay alive. It takes a single night for everything to come to an end. She ends up falling asleep and missing her alarm. The energy is drained, Magnus takes his life before she can stop him, and her soul gem shatters. She's left behind as a weak, wailing spirit wandering the streets and driving people to suicide.

Honorary mentions Hayden Holiday - Former bassist of Elise's band Cannibal Princess Romance. After tragically losing her arm in an accident, she is replaced by Khadija Bozkaya. She wishes to heal her arm, but completely forgets that she has already lost her place as the bassist regardless. Without her former business contacts, she is forced to cut ties with William Murderface - who quickly forgets about her as she was never very important to him in the first place. The bond is severed, and out of fear of hurting her sisters as a monstrosity, she commits suicide before she turns.

Marian Murderface - Another time traveler from the future who attempts to help Elise and Morguen in their mission. Unlike Elise she doesn't attempt to be subtle about it and scares the girls with her cold demeanor. When Elise turns, Marian can't bear to see her "mother" from the past suffer. She offers her soul gem as a tribute, so Elise can devour it and they can be together forever so Elise never has to be alone again. Soo-Yung Jeong - Ernie's OC, basically Elise's first spirit/demon encounter. Soo-Yung wished for fame so she could play alongside Pickles' band Snakes'n'Barrels, but was assaulted by fans as a result. It broke her spirit and she turned into a monstrosity. Missy Cerebral - Meg's OC, Elise's best friend who she desperately tries to prevent from making the same contract.

i will say though that when i think of crossovers i do tend to prefer fandom fusions :o i like the idea of blending in the media im crossing over :o !! if youre interested in that sort of thing also, i made an umbrella academy-rezero fusion au fic with turacoverdin and ive made like T^T either shitposty or serious writing or art for several other fusion aus for the past two years… just bc i like the idea of placing rezero characters in like. different scenarios and studying them like bugs under a microscope HAH some other fusions ive done / daydreamed about include madoka magica, attack on titan, persona 5, also did some chainsaw man au doodles (unlike most people when they do chainsaw man aus i put emilia as denji and subaru as asa wodnsjs HEAR ME OUT OK—)… etc etc i suppose… also that one time i drew rezero characters as mario characters and tried way too hard on it—

anyway. as for what characters will get along with subaru—honestly i havent thought about it much so uhhh perhaps i will try right now!! :O i feel like characters like homura from madoka magica could be interesting… bc i feel like for him itd be like acquiring a new little sister bc she has her whole (apologies for madoka magica spoilers? HAH) time travel to save the girl she loves thing… homuras been through a lot and im 100% sure she and subaru will be able to relate to each other. homura kind of has that cold demeanor beatrice used to have too so YES new little sister acquired mayhaps!!!! and depending on how hes feeling he can cheer on her crimes or comfort her fr :,,))

on other hand i feel like throwing subaru at chainsaw man characters would be fucking hilarious… denji and power with subaru would probably get along like a house on fire…. subaru would probably react similar to aki in this situation. its the big brother figure in him kicking in again. that and power is like head empty and high energy and so is shaula so maybe subarud be like awww… 🥺 at her. shes gonna become like his new feral cat (affectionate). theyd probably have a similar dynamic to subaru with shaula (fond and exasperated). with denji i feel like theyd both be arguing all over the place bc theyre both Loud (literal) (metaphorical) and denjis moral compass is almost entirely just Must Save Animals!!! but like i feel like subaru would be fond of the guy and feel bad for him. im sure they can relate between. getting fucked over by Certain Women and subaru can help teach denji the importance of human connection!!! the latter of which would be important if subaru ever meets asa also T^T uhh minor part 2 spoilers but like yeah asas 1000% an incel and while shes not Literally a shut in she is Metaphorically a shut in and i feel like he could really relate to her and also Acquire Another Little Sibling yes this ask has turned into me saying subaru should get more little sibling figures but STILL i think subaru and asa are pretty similar and he’d have good advice for her!!!!!!!!

on the other hand though subaru would definitely pull an otto with pre-time skip armin attack on titan. armins a lot like otto and mikasas similar to rem so im sure subarud get along swimmingly and yell at them to have more self respect wodndnd. pre-time skip, early development eren tho???? subaru would knock him down Several pegs im sure erens Everything (his personality.) is gonna remind him a bit of himself also wkdnsns. that and hes def gonna be like “STOP.
