something I find especially entertaining about Edward IV's reign is how Scandalous™ it was lol

he married a woman “whose origins broke all established conventions for English queenship” in a secret ceremony without consulting any of his lords and then made it everyone else's problem. he committed regicide, he committed fratricide; he was accused of bastardry, he was accused of bigamy and a 19-year-long sham marriage, he was accused of using necromancy against his subjects, he was accused of being enchanted by witchcraft by both his wife and his mother-in-law (multiple times). his own mother was said to "rule the king as she pleased" in the early years of his reign. he knew he was hot and actively milked it for money. he was vain as fuck: “he was wont to show himself to those who wished to watch him, and he seized any opportunity that the occasion offered of revealing his fine stature to onlookers”. he knew everything about everyone. I have a question, during the alagadda trip scp 035 was able to use their appendages and power without a body to carry MC around right. In the latest chapter when his hosts body decays he just sits there in defeat instead of using those same appendages to get to MC, is there something I'm missing?? 😭

i guess i should have made this more clear lol but basically 035 gets his arm ripped off by a 939, he reaches for the door but then his other arm just kinda falls off due to the secretions essentially melting it off and his host's body is now entirely decayed at this point and collapses. it is literally just a pile of messy black slop on the floor surrounded by 939s. his host is immobile and technically he could try to summon those weird tentacle things but the host is about to be mauled by 939s and manifesting those appendages takes him a lot of power and concentration, at least in my headcanon it does and like even if he does manage to create them it would be immensely difficult to progress henceforth due to MC basically being on a knowledge-high and completely unaware of their surroundings and all the trying-to-be-mobile-and-move-around and having-to-break-down-the-cell-door and protecting-MC while literally just being a mask

#I have so many thoughts through my mind these days I was barely able to focus on the episode. I kept zoning out #I made barely any post #Okay some thoughts. The thing that really hit me since the first time watching b/sd... AGAIN I LOVE THEM I DO, but being individual is a good thing, they had a codependent relationship when it came to soccer, i thought it was healthy for reo to see value in himself, his talent and dreams, to let himself grow outside of his relationship with nagi. thats quite literally what nagi did in the second selection and it went great for him, he grew just like he wanted to. reo was growing and then they decided to switch up on that and have reo back nagi up again and im so frustrated about it, and all of that just to beat isagi. I LOVE THEM BUT ITS OKAY TO BE INDIVIDUAL, THAT DOESNT MEAN YOU'RE RELATIONSHIP IS WEAKER IT ACTUALLY MAKES IT STRONGER WHY DID THE AUTHOR DO THIS I HATE IT SO MUCH.

i love that they are together i do, but i dont like the way they did it, it just doesnt feel right and it fell flat for me, which it shouldn't since i really like both of their characters. i just wanted to let that out sorry i annoyed anyone i just needed to talk about it.

ANYWAY #This topic made me think of Lacie a lot but in this particular poem that topic + the 'I'm sorry' scene + the figure of Lacie beyond Lacie‚ #a Lacie that's legend and real‚ a Lacie always sitting under a tree‚ life ending and life expanding so to speak‚... #That kind of knowing it all in a glimpse that is knowing in an instant and eternal (which again reminds me of Kierkegaard‚ #fitting I'd say with Rilke). I'm explaining myself terribly but I don't want to talk too much haha But yeah it all seemed very fitting #There was another poem about spiralling so to speak around god that I also thought was very Lacie but very PH in general #('I live my life in widening circles / that reach out across the world. / I may not complete this last one / but I give myself to it / #I circle around God‚ around the primordial tower. / I've been circling for thousands of years / and I still don't know: am I a falcon‚ / #a storm or a great song?'). The spiralling around god in what is still some sort of emanence or reflection of it while being also #different iterations of the self which all reflect it also reminded me a lot of Cantor's transfinite numbers #Which again is quite fitting and coherent with the other authors and PH imo‚ but I may be biased. Anyway yes. This reminded me of Lacie #I didn't plan on drawing anything at first and now I have to flinch to read the poem #I hope I'll recognise enough of what I've written when I eventually come back to this #I talk too much #I should probably delete this later #mine*
