“whats the purpose of your existence?” for azami to ask such a thing of clearing eyes is quite funny, given that her own existence is something of a...quandary, shall we say. has she not asked this of herself? she, who was born - created - a grown woman of flesh from darkness in a cavern of snakes?
azami, who sought connection for centuries or millennia, to make sense of her own self; azami, who learned of life and love after she had given up on finding it; azami, whose name was given to her by another. a gift of love for a nameless creature in the shape of a woman.
what is the purpose of her existence? and yet, imagining her asking that question of clearing eyes - one who cannot even exist physically without someone else wishing it so - is. well. quite unfair of her. is it so bad to just want to live?
though i guess she wouldnt really be asking clearing eyes. it is said to them, but the question would be for herself, wouldnt it?
it all started with her wish, after all. so. if she had not existed...

it’s making me so sad that britta is just lost to us forever it’s not fair… cheryl deserved her campy little baby lesbian mini-me sidekick who was so instantly down to become a little witch apprentice while also playing football and such. simultaneously both a normal young lass and fucking insane she was so fun. i know she could never have stayed of course. can’t break the cycle of thornhill can’t break the blossom curse can’t have a little girl raised with love, with happy memories there, not in that haunted house etc etc… but god i hope cheryl remembers her. sniffle

pairings: jimmysea
summary: jimmy, an accountant and a single father, finds himself in danger after unwittingly stumbling upon a high-profile money laundering operation and witnessing a meeting between the CEO of the company he works for and the notorious boss of a ruthless criminal organization. fearing for his life and the safety of his young son, chun, jimmy reluctantly agrees to testify against the criminals, officially entering the witness protection program.
under a new identity, jimmy and chun are relocated to a small, picturesque town nestled in the countryside, where they’re supposed to live in anonymity until the day of the trial. assigned to protect them are special agents sea and milk, who move in the house next door to pose as friendly neighbors while secretly monitoring any potential threats. adjusting to this new life, however, isn’t easy: jimmy is determined to keep providing a semblance of normalcy for his son and this often makes him butt heads with sea, whose priority is only their safety, not the quality of their lives.
as the trial date approaches, tensions rise, and the criminal organization becomes aware of jimmy’s whereabouts. they send people to dispose of him and in the fight that follows, sea is able to bring jimmy and chun to safety, but they get separated from milk, who starts to think there might be a corrupted agent in their department.
while the witness protection office tries to find them before it’s too late, the criminal organization’s relentless pursuit forces jimmy, chun, and sea to go on the run, seeking refuge in remote locations and constantly changing their identities. as they navigate through this perilous journey, the bond between jimmy and sea deepens, and the line between duty and desire becomes increasingly blurred.

Breaking: GCPD/WayneTech Deal In Jeopardy?
Gotham Gazette - Vicki Vale reporting
A few hours into what seemed to be a highly successful fundraiser for District Attorney Dent’s election campaign this evening, tensions suddenly skyrocketed after our recently appointed Police Commisioner, James Gordon, was seen storming back inside after a conversation with the (locally dubbed) First Son of Gotham - wayward but generous philanthropist Bruce Wayne, the primary contributor to Dent’s campaign.
Since the drive to root out the GCPD’s infamous corruption by Gordon and Gotham’s own vigilante cryptid Batman resulted in eliminating several previously unknown “revenue streams” for the department, Dent’s campaign promised to broker an arrangement between the resources offered by his long-time friend and sponsor Wayne and the GCPD’s now woefully underfunded, underequipped, and understaffed Sisyphean enterprise - with plenty of careful city board oversight, of course.
However, this falling out may leave Gotham voters doubtful about Dent’s ability to fulfill one of his biggest promises, and (most of) his sponsors concerned about what that could mean for the rest of his campaign should any others fall through.
Upon leaving the event, Commissioner Gordon appeared extremely flustered, and had only this to say: “Bruce Wayne is a fucking menace to polite society.” Mr. Wayne has declined to comment, although this reporter notes he seemed… awfully pleased with himself.
