basically back in ye ol fandom, during the wattpad era, vylante existed as a way to neagly pair off the remaining ro'bro/flirty ho in zanvis/garrance fics and spiraled into its own thing. it's purely a "pair the spare" ship they don't even interact outside of one minigame.

Love on Mystreet, Vylante

Vylad looked around his apartment. Everything was in the same place as it always was. A cat plush from Aph. He remembered the day he got it. Aph and him were fighting over where to go after dinner. After a (unfair) vote Aph won. She picked the arcade. Vylad wasn't much of a game person, but Aph gave it to him with puppy dog eyes to make up for the vote. He's kept it ever since. He looks at a picture of him and Dante.

Badump.

Why was his heart beating so fast? He's known Dante forever. He used to hang out with him when he went to visit his brother. At some point they became friends. Yes he did laugh at every joke Dante made. Yes he was more excited about seeing Dante then his brother. Yes he dreamed about kissing him.

Wait...

Holy shit. He was in love with Dante?! When did that happen?! He furiously blushed. What was he supposed to do now?

Vylad breathed in and out. He hadn't visited Dante in a while. He needed an excuse to see him. Something that was normal. He looked at his oven. Hmm....

Vylad was standing in front of Dante's door, well Dante and his friends' door. He was too afraid to knock. What was happening? He's never been scared to see him before. Is this because he found out he loved him? What a pain.

The door opened. Garroth looked surprised to see him.

"Vylad?"

"Hey Garroth." Vylad wanted to hit himself for being so awkward, this is his brother after all.

"You haven't visited in a while! I missed you baby brother!"

Still the same old Garroth. Vylad was calming down now.

"I-"

"Who's there?" Vylad died inside. It was Dante.

"It's Vylad! Want to come in Vylad?"

Vylad couldn't take his eyes off Dante. He was wearing an undershirt that fit him loosely. Suddenly Vylad was feeling very warm.

"Vylad?"

Vylad looked back at Garroth, who was talking to him.

"Uh yeah?"

Suddenly Garroth's eyes darkened, but only for a second. He grabbed Vylad's arm and pulled him in. While doing that Vylad dropped the box behind his back on the floor. He grabbed it back immediately, however not before Garroth saw it.

"Is that for us?" It was just supposed to be Dante's, but Vylad was afraid getting him alone would worry his brother.

"Yeah." He said instead.

"Cool! I'll put it on the table. Thanks!"

Vylad's heart beat faster. Garroth was going towards the kitchen, this was his chance to talk to Dante! He looked over at Dante.

He tried to say words but nothing would come out. Dante noticed him mouthing something and came closer to hear.

Vylad was staring right at Dante. He was close! Vylad felt like he was on fire.

Suddenly his legs collapsed. He fell to the ground. Garroth must've heard the thump because he ran to Vylad's side.

"Vylad are you okay?!"

"Yeah Garroth, just my legs."

"I'll go get a crutch for you, Dante can you carry him to your room?"

Dante nodded and grabbed Vylad in his arms. Vylad was definitely blushing now, if not already.

Once in Dante's room, Vylad was laid down on his bed. Vylad was trying not to explode.

"You haven't visited in a while."

Vylad looked down. "I know I just had some things to deal with."

"Is it because of your legs? I heard you're not in a wheelchair anymore."

"Heh, yeah that was rough but no that's not why."

Dante seemed like he wasn't going to pry, but Vylad had enough of beating around the bush.

"Do you like boys?"

Dante was taken aback at first, I mean that was out of the blue.

"I do."

Vylad gulped. It was now or never. "Okay I wanted to know because-"

He stared at Dante's beautiful blue eyes. "Because- Because..."

Fuck it. He grabbed Dante's head and slammed his lips onto his. After a second he pulled away.

"I-"

Suddenly Dante's lips were on his again. He closed his eyes.

However all of a sudden he heard a thump behind him. He opened his eyes. Garroth was standing there with the now dropped crutch, he did not look happy.

Vylad pulled away immediately. "Garroth I-!"

But Dante already bolted out of the room, with Garroth close behind.

Vylad crawled over to get the forgotten crutch. He figured he'd better make sure his new boyfriend doesn't die.

Basically cool people call Kim x Garroth Kimroth (or Karroth if they're really cool as it sounds like carrot) and lame people call it Garrim which sounds way worse and less catchy./hj /lh

I don't like Kimroth that much but I am very passionate about the name Kimroth sounding better than Garrim or Garkim.

Also I am only voting for more ships so there can be more gay ships in the next gen au but shhh (may I suggest adding poly ships? You want to add Zanvisna sooo badlyyy, do it, do it, give in, you know you want to)

Aphmau Ships and my thoughts

nnnLet us begin my lovely flames, all of this is my own personal thoughts on this you are free to disagree. I will be starting with whatever ship comes to me first. There will also be strong language.

1. Zane x Janus: honestly, 10/10 it holds a special place in my heart as one of the few ships I hyperfixated on. Very good rare pair. I am of course biased toward the forbidden love trope but I also like the pairing.

2.  Ein x Aphmau: give me a moment while I throw-up.....okay, I’m back, -999999999999999999/10, I dislike everything about this ship nothing else needs to be said. THEY ARE SIBLINGS.

3. Ro’Meave x Ro’Meave: I will once again be hurling, THAT’S INCEST YOU DILAPITATED FUCKS WHY IN THE FRESH FUCK WOULD ANYONE SHIP THAT!!!!!!!

4. Aphmau x Aaron: In Mystreet I guess it isn’t that bad. I don’t like how Aaron’s a senior dating a freshman in Pheonix Drop High, it feels wrong, for lack of better words. His attitude towards Aph is horrible as well, kinda reinforces the if he treats you bad he likes you, stereotype which is very bad. In Minecraft Diaries I have to say I’m definitely not a fan, I really don’t like the thought of this nobody that Aph has practically no connection to kinda sweeping her away. It feels.....rushed, and out of canon for them both. Besides that, I guess it’s subpar 3-4/10

5. Laurance x Aphmau: I really can’t see them dating in PDH or MyStreet, in Diaries it’s more believable, but not quite something I can see ending well. It would probably end the same way Shad and Irene’s relationship ended, so not very well. It will get brownie points for being one of the first ships I shipped. 5/10

6. Zoey x Aphmau: THEY ARE WIVES YOUR HONOR, 1000000000000000/10 nothing else.

7. Garroth x Aphmau: Not bad, I mean I still can’t see Garroth being straight in Mystreet or PDH, but that’s just his vibe~. In Diaries it might work, they had a connection, it wouldn’t have felt to terribly rushed, and it’d be believable. 6/10

8. Vylad x Dante: Meh, I can’t really see it happening. It’s an interesting concept, but it would never happen in canon. Which is what au’s are for 5/10

9. Vylad x Travis: Once again meh, it isn’t likely, and I personally don’t ship it. 4/10 

10. Zane x Aphmau: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that’s it.

11. Aphmau x Katelyn: It’s cute, like very cute. like 100000000/10 but not in MyStreet because their parents are getting married or whatever then it’s a 0/10

12: Vylad x Laurance: One of my first OTP’s honestly adorable, because of both Vylad and Laurance have disappeared it’s a funny concept to think they like eloped and are now traveling the world together. And that’s why they aren’t to be seen. In Diaries the thought of them bonding in the Nether, and them having a relationship on the down low. Which only get’s more complicated the longer that it goes on. Anyway I like the opportunities this ship has (and the angst) so 2083731346/10

13. Vylad x Zenix: It’s a ship, I guess. It wouldn’t really work. But the thought of them as ex’s is really cool. 3/10

14. Zenix x Gene: hemhem NO that is all

15. Garroth x Laurance: Another one of of my first OTP’s  I love this ship in both MyStreet and Diaries. Also there is SO MUCH ANGST you could do. Although that counts for any ship Laurance is in.

16. Zoey x Aphmau x Katelyn: YESSSSSSSS PLEASE GIVE ME POLY LESBIAN CONTENT PLEASSEE 129456202344576/10

17. Zane x Travis: It kinda feels like all the content for this ship is fetishizing gay couples and I really don’t like that. It makes me ~Uncomfy~

A part of the reason why I like Kim is in spite of the peak yoai era Garrance shippers who would demonise her and Aphmau and turn them into homophobes in their fanfics.

Younger me was BITTER and a HATER. I spend too much energy in getting upset at that to give up on her now.

I had so much beef with Garrance, Zanvis and Vylante shippers for so long over their mischaracterization of all the characters. Younger me would already be disappointed in me for not hating those ships anymore, let alone if I wouldn't die on the Kim liker hill.

iirc garroth died in a car crash in march, in likez may zane died in the bathroom in travis's arms in the middle of a party due to internal injuries from the car crash, and in December vylad died in an offscreen plan crash either coming to or leaving his brother's joint funeral. also aph had survivors guilt bc she drove the car but idk what else happened.

its been living in my head for years i can not for the life of me remember.
