If I was on iZombie (at least in the later seasons), I'd open a care home for Romero zombies. Just keep them as engaged as possible and make sure they're taken care of, have some enrichment activities, keep them clean and hydrated and only occasionally feed anyone who annoys me to them. Would it be in poor taste? Probably. But also I'd ask the public for donations and make TV advertising and people would hate me and when I inevitably get mauled they'd be like "Wow that was very stupid" and "Darwin award nomination" and "this is a threat to humanity and our continued existence on this planet" and "this was the dumbest side anyone could have taken in this crisis" bc of cancel culture but I wouldn't regret anything. (Because I would be dead)

instead of going for conspiracy theorist angle like original, he's just. kinda paranoid? he still has the impulse to reveal zombies to the world but instead it's a case of "oh god someone's gonna find me eating brains and question things" and has mass anxiety about it. he's also part of mimzie's "team", but he's both content manager and her in general assistant. taking it a step further here in that they're also roommates.

someone's gotta keep an eye on him and mimz lost the draw /hj

they get along well and fine though, outside of his zombie worries vince is Kinda A Dick, and it's not really a day of work unless he bonks mimzie on the head for doing something stupid

No-no-no…

It can't be him…

It just can't be!

Liv stepped forward, lowering the gun. She would have recognized him from a thousand thousand zombies, even with white hair, but itcan't be him!

Not him.

 "Drake!"

At first he didn't even turn around. Until she called him louder, or did he smell the brains? Moore didn't know, and there was no time to think: it was necessary to try to get Drake back.

But no matter how much Liv tried to reach him, Drake didn't react. The only thing he was reacting to was the smell of fresh brains behind a wall of glass, and Liv knew it perfectly well.

Liv didn't want to believe that Drake —her Drake— had become a brainless zombie.

He might not have told her the whole truth about himself (in particular, that he was undercover in the police), but he loved her, and she loved him. She didn't care about secrets, as long as he came back to her.

But everything went awry. When he and another zombie got out of the cell(only later Liv realized that it was not an accident, but a deliberate decision of Vaughn Du Clark)and attacked Clive, trying to eat his brains, Liv shot him.

Liv shot him...

The girl still hoped that he was alive, she shot him in the head and knew that after such a zombie does not survive, but still continued to hope.

As they say, hope dies last.

She lost a loved one again...

How would she look into his mother's eyes… Mrs. Holloway was still sure that he was on an undercover mission and he had no way to get in touch with her.

Moore knelt down next to Drake's corpse and touched his back.

"Liv, do you hear the smell?" Clive asked suddenly. "Some kind of gas. We need to get out."

"Go away," Liv's voice was full of tears, she only looked up at her partner for a moment, but then looked back at Drake's body.

"The stairs are out there somewhere," she heard Floyd Baracus say.

"Liv, let the brain own you, you are a soldier, you were trained for this," Babineaux said.

Moore looked at Clive and made a decision. They're leaving. Together.

Did we ever talk about how fucked up it was when Vaughn Du Clark left Rita aka his daughter to get eaten up by a zombie, like he just ran away and shut the door behind him then locked himself in his office. I didn’t like Rita, but shit she didn’t deserve that. I’m rewatching the series because season 5 should be airing any day now.
