"Emperor Kuzco!" Vanellope Von Schweetz shouts from across the throne room, hoping to grab his attention. She drops a curtsy, for extra respect points, you know? "It is with my honor to humbly present to you-!" She's so excited she's actually resisting the urge to jump up and down at that very moment, "The buttload of sweets I've promised to give ya!" She happily hops to the side, her hands extended out towards her gift! Lo and behold, she's bestowed upon him a beautiful conglomeration of the best of Sugar Rush's sweet treats from across the land! With the bonus of NOT having an expiration date and an extremely rich flavor that can't be replicated anywhere else, she hopes it's one of the best peaces offerings he's ever received. It truly was a sight to behold, all of the chocolates and candies were nearly glistening, somehow. It seemed too perfect, but that was in their code. "Ta-da!"

Knuckles rub against his eyelids, momentarily shielding them from the light of the sconces on the walls. It's arguably less effective at shielding him from the blubbering idiots standing in front of him bickering back and forth about their stupid land dispute, unfortunately. "For the last time, you can't just take someone else's llama because you don't like where they planted a papaya tree-- "

The interruption-- while sudden-- is a massively welcome relief, and Kuzco not so gently shoves the peasant he was standing in front of to the side so he can see what all of the commotion is about, just in time to see Vanellope's delightful little curtsy. To say he's floored by the offering is an understatement. It's candy and sweets like he's never seen, and even from a distance he can see that glistening she's talking about. Talk about fancy schmancy. "Now THAT is a buttload of sweets." He tells the peasant duo, neatly side stepping them both to head over to his gift. "You weren't kidding, huh? This is-- it's GREAT!" Aw man, he's going to be on a sugar high for WEEKS! Hands rub together in his excitement, and he's beaming by the time he reaches her. "Alrighty-- no window for you. Ever. Especially if you keep bringing me these!"

10 Years of Wrecking

Week 2 (Nov. 5 - Nov. 11): Ralph and Vanellope Week

Vanellope tends to prefer savory food, since she's surrounded by sweet food in Sugar Rush. This is a bigger deal for her than for the other racers, since Vanellope spent 15 years surviving off of the wild-growing candies in the environment of her game and had been itching to try something new

Ralph has spent enough time in Sugar Rush to sample the various sweets there, which was a great delight to him after decades of lacking access to treats or luxury. He's found that his favorite flavors are mild ones like honey and caramel, plus he came to enjoy vanilla after Felix introduced him to it

Vanellope enjoys roughhousing with Tamora and listening to her war stories, which Tam appreciates since most people find the stories to be horrifying in various ways

Ralph gets along quite well with Sour Bill. It took some time for the little guy to warm up to the wrecker after the interrogation incident, but he had no hard feelings after Ralph let him know that it wasn't anything personal. They coordinate setting up surprises for Vanellope and hanging back together at castle events when they need a break from the action

One type of candy Vanellope does enjoy is sour candy. A big part of her enjoyment, however, comes from challenging Ralph to see who can endure it the longest (she always wins since he amusingly can't handle it well and makes lots of funny faces)

Ralph is usually the one who initiates pranks against Gene, but Vanellope is a very valuable helper who enables pranks that require access to small spaces (jumping out at him from cabinets, slipping noisy items into gaps in the room corners, etc.)

Val, The Sweet Glitch

Our final character is Val! A former Royal Sword Academy student that transferred into Night Raven College after visiting the campus during a school event. This individual didn't feel right at home back at Royal Sword Academy, but witnessing the atmosphere within Night Raven College, they decide to transfer in an instant and moved into Ramshackle dormitory after having an encounter with one of the characters within.

This character was actually not a part of the original cast of character that me and Datura created when we first revealed the project and story. It was only until when we reunited with an old friend in the friend group months later that we decided to create a brand new character based on him. Because this character was made a few months later, we didn't have a new list of Disney characters to choose from. And so we allowed him to choose another character, which happens to be Vanellope von Schweetz from "Wreck it Ralph."

For Val's unique ability, we decided to call it "Sweet Glitch," in which he is able to essential "glitch" around while teleporting multiple times at short distances. This is based on Vanellope's ability in the film, in which she is seen teleporting multiple times as a form of glitching.

In terms of curses, Val in the story does not get one. The reason being is that back in a Cookie's post, it is explained that many characters that me and Datura created for this project met an individual at some point in their lives that put a curse upon them. However, Val never met this person, and is thus curse free!

Here's a fun fact: Val's hair is actually made of licorice! Actually that may not be fun depending how you look at it, but because of that, he tends to bond with Cookie, who has a curse that is subsided if eating sweet. He also most likely has candy on hand, so many will expect a little treat when Val's around. Although, he does tend to do risky things for others, much to dorm mom Akasha's demise.

Froya Nougatina (Nougestia Brumblestain)

Theme: Frozen Yogurt and Nougat

Kart: Frozen Yo-Kart

Racing Track: Froyo Stadium

Sweet and energetic, she always happily greeted her fellow racers wherever she went. Whether she won or lost a race, she always had something to be positive about. During her time as a Recolor, she held onto her positivity to shield herself from the feelings of isolation she had developed. Seeing how Vanellope was treated simply for something she had no control over, she couldn’t help but wonder if the Recolors were only tolerated at best. Glitch or not, Vanellope was still a person and deserved better. She would’ve spoken up sooner, but her anxieties and fear of rejection won out. It wasn’t until after the reset that she was properly able to get these feelings off her chest, and as a result, no longer felt the need to shield herself.

My take on this character was inspired by a popular headcanon back in 2013-2014, which talked about how the 4 palette swap racers were the products of the game being hacked. Prior to it, they had identities just as unique as their fellow racers. These designs and profile below are my own idea on what these former identities were and what they return to after Sugar Rush gets reset.

In this AU, the game was plugged in 2010 instead of 1997, and had been active for just a day before Turbo took over. When he tampered with the game’s code, an unintended side effect caused the girls to take on the appearances of the racers they were hanging out with at the time, turning them into their palette swaps.

Wide hazel eyes grew wider than normal at being offered the gift, and for once the girl found herself at a loss for words. This was... this was altogether new to her. And while Vanellope knew that she should hardly be surprised that having her first friend came with new experiences, well...

She tore open the gift, as if afraid it would vanish if she didn't get to the heart of it as quickly as she possibly could.

Her expression lit up at the sight of the cookies within. Clearly homemade, if she was any connoisseur at all, which of course only made them even better... one might think, with the amount of candy and such that she already indulged in regularly, that one more sweet treat would hardly be a big deal for Vanellope, but...

Firstly, NEVER. And secondly, even if that was somehow the case, clearly her newfound best friend had put a lot of care into these and that was never to be thought little of. All the same, she strove to play it casual.

"An' here, I always thought the only thing Valentine's was good for was the cut-price chocolate the day after."

She couldn't keep it up, let a genuine smile creep across her face.

"But these're... well, they look pretty amazing. Thanks. And I bet they taste even better," she enthused, her voice regaining its usual bounce once again. "Seriously, I can't wait to try 'em!"

"Heh.... Fine...." (said gal is Forzen and boy is Joshie)(Gordon falls for Forzen at first then for Benrey later and fozen is like "rude wtf" and Benrey is just "ha fuck you bro")

Turbo is Gman (I dislike gman that's why :))))

Benrey goes to destroy the mentos thing (dunno what it'll be in cowboy, just dynamite?) And Gordon pushes away from Forzen, the science team and Joshie glitches to run after Gordon as wel.

Gman ends up destroying Gordon's arm but he can't fix it cause it's virus issues if won't work as he and Josh push Benrey out the way so he doesn't die. Tommy and Coomer are from other games that the plugs got pulled. Bubby is the sour guy.

"I can't remember nobody can, gman locked away our memories and modified us to fit his theme"

Like Benrey shaoeshifts as the levels go on to destroy the facility and Gordon fixes it

I like to imagine Forzen, Darnold and Tommy are in a shooting game, but Tommy's was pulled. Coomer I guess just a fighting one like the classics and his special ability is to like muktiolyfor a KO.

Oh god Sour Bubby prototypes- only he's spicy cause cowboy.

Forzen modded her game so he (she/him pronouns) could appear androgynous (help from Darnold and Tommy). Gordon his game had a fault being made and he was a guy when his game art and other arcades are him as fem.

See I thought of Darnold being like a potions seller in a shooting game but what if he's Tapper.

Benreys sweet voice is like his health.

Benrey sees that gman has destroyed Gordon's hand and he's PISSED. So after he explodes the dynamite to explode the volcano, he jumps to the virus gman and makes him look at the light and bleed virus blood.

They just adopt Joshua both of em. Benrey watching people love playing with Joshua even when he's mute (he's like qbert type like just ! And that) and glitchy at times but he's not a guaranteed win still a challenge unlike Vanellope

"you live here?"

Joshua claps and smiles, rushing to the little makeshift bed next to a vamp fire near the volcano and bundles in the blankets, a heart emote above his head

"All by yourself? With all this garbage..."

Joshua shrugs sadly miming he shouldn't exist and his glitchiness makes it dangerous.

Benrey rubs the back of his neck and watches the lava bubble and explode a little

"Why don't you leave?"

A red circle with a line through it followed by a glitchy emote. He mimes being unable to get through a door. Before flopping onto his bed sadly, cowboy hat flying off.

Benrey looked between this child and the unfinished race course, before looking at the newly made, messy mechanical horse. His four arms sprouted thicker and tougher, claws becoming like shovels as he quickly scooping the dirt away, tail swiping rocks side to side as he rushed further all around the lava.

Joshua bubbled question marks and exclamation marks, making shocked beeping noises.

"It's a uh... Track. Tadaaa. Can uh... Learn to drive cool horse rather than the uh... Peddle horse."

• Tiffany is the kind of girl who was never told “no” growing up, and it shows. She’s very spoiled and very entitled, though on the surface she presents the image of a perfectly sweet girl for the cameras. In her own mind, she is that girl; she sees herself as the protagonist of her life and all her actions are internally justified, even she has to put down others in her way. That's their own problem to deal with.

• Her parents are the owners and founders of a candy company called Taffy-Tongue Sweets, which operates its original factory here on Echo Isle but distributes to stores across the country. Their biggest partner is King Candy’s Candy Shop, a popular candy retailer. Despite their family name being Muttonfudge, they specialize in fruity candies more than chocolate.

• She was the child model for the brand, so it’s still her little baby face on all the packaging and advertising to this day: with the bright pink candy-stained tongue and all. She’s rarely seen without a signature lollipop, because always be representing. She’s currently an influencer, having made a name for herself along with her friends, who together go by the label of Sugar Rush Racers, as popular gaming streamers. She’s the natural leader of the group who the others defer to.

• Her closest and most loyal friends among the group are Candice and Randy, although she has a much more complicated relationship with him because, well, they’re in a relationship. They’ve been together for years with only one break between, and honestly they don’t bring out the best in each other, but they hardly know anything else because they don’t have enough experience outside of each other.

• They live together in a house that’s way too big just because they can, and have a little lap dog formally named Peanut after Randy’s favorite candy (Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.) She dresses him in little matching pink outfits with her like Elle Woods with Bruiser.

• She's extremely competitive and feels threatened when people (like Vanellope) are better than her at something, because she feels like it devalues her own achievement/skill. They're kinda friends now (maybe frenemies by their competitive natures), but she used to lash out at Vanellope when they were younger because of this.

• Tiffany bakes and decorates to relieve stress, so her friends are constantly on the receiving end of gifts of cupcakes and other such treats.

GENERAL INFO:

Hey!! I’m lem and this is my mcyt sugar rush au !!

It takes place in the video game Sugar Rush from Wreck it Ralph - but not necessarily the movie itself! The AU is not a one to one comparison to the movie and shouldn’t be treated as such, though! There are a lot of similarities.

If you haven’t watched the movie: Sugar Rush is a candy themed racing arcade game, with racers having customized carts and outfits based off of either one or a few sweets. There’s a ruler named king candy, who doesn’t have a direct counterpart in this au, and a bunch of other racers. Inside the game there’s a girl named Vanellope who is considered a “glitch” and isn’t allowed to race. This is who Ranboo is based off of.

The AU is also OPEN ! This means anyone can design their own racers for mcyt communities in not in, have their own takes of racers I have done, or even interpret the story I have so far differently!

It’s just a lot of fun and I’m thriving to keep it that way :D

WORLD BUILDING QUESTIONS:

now updated with descriptions rather than asks, as some asks are inaccurate

- The roster, how playable characters (aka avatars) are decided, and “volunteering”

The roster is the list of racers that are able to race everyday, with 9 of them being “Avatars” aka Playable Characters and the other 6 on a random / volunteer basis. The Avatars are decided with a race that happens after the arcade closes. Racers can choose to participate in this race but are mandated to be on the Avatar list once a week, and therefore to participate in a roster race once a week. The first nine racers who win are the Avatars for the next day (an exception is described in Tommy’s bio.) Any other racer can volunteer to be one of the 6 non playable characters for the next day, or if not enough people volunteer it is randomized. This is how Ranboo participates

- What they do when not racing

They go to other games, hang out, work on their carts, research, etc! All the stuff you and I may do. Each racer has their own house / place they live.

- Stats / Racer types

Generally I consider Philza, Techno, and Dream to be the absolute best racers. No one is bad it’s just that those three in particular are really good. Other than that there’s no set stats!

Racer types are vague but I consider Techno and Tubbo to be Tank racers (defense and handling are high but they’re slow) Jack and Sapnap to be fast racers (go really quick but their handling is bad) and well rounded ones overall are Dream and Ranboo. Everyone else falls in a middle ground somewhere.

- Maps

There’s a “main map” which is just based off of the course from the movie and is likely where most of the au will take place!

Other maps I want to do are an ice themed one, a sky themed one (idea from my discord!) and a beach one! I can’t promise they’ll be in the story but I’d love to design them.

- Players

The characters of sugar rush are aware they're in a video game, they however, cannot see the players. They get a sense of a returning player through playstyles and who they pick (such as only selecting one racer)

I'll ramble a little about him💖 Schwi is another Twisted Wonderland OC! * Old art *

🍭A short, young and cute looking boy who came from RSA to NRC because he was bullied. He was sorted in the Diasomnia dorm.

🍭Schwi is twisted from Vanellope Von Schweetz ( Wreck it Ralph ). Always seen with a smile on his face, he's overly enthusiastic about everything, and has a strong will to do good. He's somewhat naive, and extremely forgiving.

🍭People kept on betraying him and doing awful things to him, but he chose to move forward and still see the best in everything and everyone.

🍭He's also extremely generous and friendly, and even if he's quite the airhead sometimes, he always tries to help people as much as he can.

🍭Why was he bullied, though ? Schwi, despite being extremely powerful with magic, is sometimes not great at controlling it, resulting in a few...issues. Schwi has no parents, no memories from his childhood. Like he never belonged. Like a glitch. When excited or subject to strong emotions, he can be seen lagging and glitching like a character in a videogame would, his voice changing tones and stuttering, this freaked people out and he was treated as an anomaly.

🍭Schwi also has a weird obsession for everything overly sweet and can almost always be seen giving them away to people as an act of kindness.

i am so interested in your take on everything!! ralph breaks the internet used to be one of my favorite movies 😳

aww honestly i really enjoyed it!!! i see why it means so much to you, it's a very sweet movie with such fantastic emotional punches. i still do prefer the first one however, and i want to talk a little bit about perhaps there needing to be more time spent on the script... (spoilers, theories and suggestions ahead for Ralph Breaks the Internet!)

first of all, i really enjoyed the angle they took with exploring Ralph's severe insecurities and his unintentionally toxic behaviour towards Vanellope. i think it's a lovely theme that tracks well from the first movie, and is very relatable to all of us in some capacity. however, i feel that the second half of the movie was the more tightly-written part, because for the first half i don't think we got enough of Ralph's jealousy or Vanellope feeling smothered...certainly not enough for Ralph to go ahead and unleash a virus. given what went down with the Cybugs in the first movie, and Vanellope almost being deleted in her Candy glitch state, i think it would take a lot more of a breaking point for Ralph to fathom doing something that awful...he may have disliked Shank, but not enough to potentially kill that many people, you know?

another thing i found odd is that there was no overt villain...even though i was absolutely banking on it being Knowsmore. you mean to tell me they wrote a vastly intelligent, powerful character who feels terribly underappreciated and ignored for all the work that he does...and they didn't decide to expand upon that, and mirror his potential actions from that character motivation with Ralph's descent into toxicity?? i keep thinking what an amazing parallel that would have made...having an antagonistic character absolutely desperate for attention and going on some megalomaniacal power trip with the power of the Internet at his disposal.

i was also chatting with a pal who says they wish there was more video game content in this one, and i agree. why not expand Vanellope's conflict by introducing us to the concepts of video game lore, hackers, emulators, modders and more? can you imagine Vanellope in a Toy Story 2-type situation, discovering that there are countless versions of her and she could go anywhere she likes using the Internet? we were introduced to online players in this universe - what if we had a real-world antagonistic character?

i think, from this concept, the one thing i would have killed to see would be some sort of modding to resurrect King Candy/Turbo's code, and bring him to the Internet. you can't tell me that in the time King Candy was in his version of Sugar Rush - presumably only the Litwack version - that someone wouldn't have noticed this unique character. can you imagine the possibilities if someone decided to start modding King Candy/Turbo into other games, or unleashing his face as a virus instead? i bring this up because we have Knowsmore, a character who literally has the entire knowledge of the Internet at his fingertips....and the script does nothing with him except use him as a bit of a deus ex machina at the end of the movie 😭💖

tldr; i thought the movie was lovely but i think Knowsmore should have been the villain. i enjoyed the exploration of Ralph's self-esteem and trauma, but feel both he and Vanellope were somewhat out-of-character, and that the script would have benefitted from an overt villain to contrast with Ralph's moral crisis. i would have liked the re-assertion that Ralph is not a bad guy - he’s just been treated that way his whole life.

yoooo it's that second oc i was talking about! okay, so, i wanted to make an oc but i wanted them to be a character based on someone from a more modern disney movie and not the "classic" one. and i went with vanellope from wreck-it ralph! younger me liked her character a lot when the movie came out so i thought that it would be fun to remember those times :D

full name: vance mintberry (ヴァンス・ミントベリー) (i chose his first name simply because it's similar to "vanellope" and his last name is just a combination of "mint" and "berry". that's it)

unique magic: "game glitch". he can teleport extremely quickly in several different places in a short amount of time. for example, he can teleport to a library, a classroom, a garden and his room and he will do all of that in few seconds. it's very useful when he needs to do something in different places and he needs to do it quickly, however, it takes a lot of energy and he will overblot if he teleports for more than five minutes.

dislikes: not being allowed to do something, having to focus on only one task

personality: vance is a fun-loving boy, who most people see as a mischievous little kid. he isn't as rude as avery but he also likes to make fun of people, his ways of doing that are just more subtle. he also likes pranks. his family originally planned to send vance to rsa, but his grandfather thought that rsa doesn't suit him because of his eccentric personality, so he started going to nrc just like his older brother. vance didn't really like that decision but then he thought "you know what. i'll go to nrc and i'll get the best grades and i'll make friends just to show my grandpa that he was wrong about me and i'm capable of doing great things" vance is very affectionate, he likes hugs and headpats. but you better be careful with him, you never know when he's gonna pull a prank on you! most people have no idea how he ended up in heartslabyul and he doesn't know either because vance hates rules and following them. when he started going to nrc, he thought that he's finally gonna get some freedom which he doesn't have at home, and then he gets sorted into heartslabyul! this was the reason why vance misbehaved a lot during his first days of school and intentionally tried to make riddle angry. he eventually got used to it and now calls himself "heartslabyul students' little brother". yes, he knows that he's the same age as all freshmen, but he just says that he likes to be treated like a cute younger sibling. why? because this way he gets affection, gifts and all that good stuff! but deep down, vance actually wants people to respect him and look up to him, but he will never say that. vance also tends to break the fourth wall quite often and it's more creepy than funny.

notable relationships:

he has an older brother that also goes to nrc. he and vance are very close, but even he isn't safe from vance's teasing and pranks. vance says that his brother is really cool, but he's also kinda socially awkward. because of that their dynamic is similar to idia and ortho's.

vance has not the best relationship with his grandfather who was the one that decided vance should go to nrc. his grandpa is very controlling and he doesn't believe that vance can actually do something great and impressive. he treats vance's older brother the same way.

vance at first disliked riddle because of how much riddle reminded him of his grandfather and tried to make him angry on purpose just to mess with him, but once riddle learned why vance acts this way, he felt deeply sorry for the boy because.. yeah, he can relate and he has similar problems with his mother. riddle and vance reconciled after that and now they're actually pretty good friends. vance even likes to call himself "a second dorm vice-leader" because he often runs around checking on heartslabyul students and jokingly threatens them, saying that he will tell riddle if they break any rules.

vance and trey are also quite close, because yay, another "big brother figure"! also trey knows about vance not being allowed to eat sweets and he makes salty and/or sugar-free treats for him, so that vance wouldn't feel "left out" during tea parties.

vance and deuce have similar interests and they often talk about magical wheel and other vehicles.

his voice lines (they get glitchy and more dark when 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚏𝚘𝚗𝚝 is used. IT'S FOR THE LORE):

fun facts

vance having an older brother that goes to nrc is actually a reference to ralph and him having a strict grandfather who didn't allow him go to rsa is a reference to king candy who didn't allow vanellope to race.

also the whole thing with "not being allowed to go to rsa and going to nrc" is a reference to vanellope actually being a princess, but being treated like a glitch. his unique magic is also based on vanellope glitching.

vance isn't allowed to eat sweets due to him becoming extremely hyperactive after he eats them. however, he can eat fruit, berries and honey because they're "naturally sweet".

vance wanted to ride a magical wheel, but his family (once again, mainly his grandfather) wouldn't allow that, saying that it's too dangerous for him. so his older brother got him a skateboard, hoping that at least that will make vance happy. and it did, even though it was a completely different thing, but vance likes it anyway and you can often see him skateboarding. and you can just as often see him with bandaids on his face because vance is.. quite clumsy.

vance and avery are both in dorms that are based on things they hate: rules and beautiful people.

vance originally wanted to be in savanaclaw but then he saw leona and thought "nah, i don't think this guy is a good dorm leader". he also thought that ignihyde is cool but he doesn't have any respect for idia and thinks he's pathetic, so.. yeah.

he wants to be in a magift team just like ace and deuce.

he likes to say that he and neige leblanche look the same and he often pretends to be neige so that people would take pictures of him and ask for an autograph. he isn't good at that, they have a height difference and their eye color and hair color are similar, but not the same.

The former recolors, restored to their true selves after Sugar Rush got properly rebooted. In this AU, the game was plugged in 2010 and had been active for just a day before Turbo took over. When he tampered with the game’s code, an unintended side effect caused the girls to take on the appearances of the racers they were hanging out with at the time, turning them into their palette swaps.

Shakelynn Maltswirl (Sticky Wipplesnit)

Theme: Milkshakes

Kart: Whipped Crusher

Racing Track: Milkshake Mall

The playful friend that always has a few jokes up her sleeve, Shakelynn also has a love of adventuring embedded into her code. She loves to explore every corner of the Candy Kingdom, and is the go-to racer for finding alternate paths and hidden routes the game had to offer. Her earliest memory after Sugar Rush was plugged in was her friendship with Swizzle. Like her fellow Recolors, she always felt at odds with her theme and her identity at that time. After the reset, she took to making milkshakes for her fellow racers in flavors that matched their respective themes. She also had a serious talk with Swizzle after learning he had willingly participated in bullying Vanellope prior to the reset. Her favorite flavor is birthday cake.

Fruitina Sweetblossom (Citrusella Flugpucker)

Theme: Fruit Tarts

Kart: Fruit Bolt

Racing Track: Blossom Fruit Farms

A confident racer, Fruitina is also equal parts brave and hardworking, and never hesitates to stop for fellow racers that need help. Underneath this kind nature lurked a number of insecurities and feeling she was beneath the others. The lack of her own fans, grandstands and flag made her feel incredibly left out, as though she was nothing more than filler needed to complete the roster. At one point she had considered speaking to King Candy about her troubles, but decided against it after seeing the treatment he incited against Vanellope for being a Glitch. After the game’s reset, her personal track also doubled as her home, where she’d grow a variety of fruits in her downtime and share them with her friends when they were ready.

Flancheska Sugarglaze (Torvald Batterbutter)

Theme: Flan (Caramel Custard)

Kart: Golden Glider

Racing Track: Flan-Custard Expressway

An easygoing racer that found joy in the simple things, Flancheska was a firm believer that the smallest of things could make the biggest impact. She always gave some great advice and was the leader of the Recolors. Out of all the racers, she always had the best intuition, being the first to sense something felt off after Turbo hacked their code. Every now and then she often wondered why she was given a boy’s name during her time as Torvald, making her believe filling the remaining roster slots was a rush job. After the reset, she continued her pursuit of enjoying the little things one step at a time. She also enjoys making flan in a variety of flavors.

Froya Nougatina (Nougestia Brumblestain)

Theme: Frozen Yogurt and Nougat

Kart: Frozen Yo-Kart

Racing Track: Froyo Stadium

Their original looks and explanation below:

For my AU specifically, the girls’ color schemes were what remained from their original identities. The four hung out together the most, and were the only citizens that never bullied or feared Vanellope. While they knew their fellow racers disliked her, they never knew the others outright bullied her, which the girls didn’t take kindly to once they found out.

If anything, for a time all four thought they might’ve been Glitches themselves, or that they were only tolerated at best. It simply didn’t make sense to them that a game as detailed as theirs would have palette swaps of existing racers. This caused them to feel like they were nothing more than an afterthought, only needed to fill up the roster. They always felt at odds with their respective themes.

Although their fellow racers treated them just fine, the girls still felt some insecurity over their situation. They didn’t have their own fans, grandstands or personalized flags. Once Vanellope crossed the finish line and rebooted the game, all four girls not only got their memories restored, but their original identities as well.
